Friendly staff, made great recommendations, their tacos were slapping (chorizo and barbacoa yum 😋), had the caramel apple seasonal coffee as well. Easy walk up, good coffee and food, well priced. 5 ⭐️

Sitting within the establishment reminded of sitting within a gazebo in a park. The weather was pleasant, the patrons were relaxed and had upon their visage a look of peace and pleasantness. I personally felt a sense of respite from the errands of my day and have felt a sense of peace.Their food and drink were not just pleasant, but refreshing and rejuvenating to my spirit, palate, and unique to look upon as you can see with the pictures below. Their crowning achievement with me was their friendly service and their chai tea latte; it wasnt too hot and you could taste all the flavors that accompanied such a drink, with the foam to make it that much more filling and satisfying!

Drove by noticed and decided to try a new coffee place. The coffee is fantastic. There’s a cool neighbourhood vibes converted petrol station. They used also have seasonal menu and several choices on everything. Dog friendly drive through a breezy patio.What a difference. Came in today .03.Feb.21 tried to order but was ignored by staff, who walked every so often with drinks for people who had probably given up. A truly a dismal experience.There are too many such places in the Heights to suffer this move on to the next place

Cute spot for a good cup of coffee

Fabulous espresso, comes with a super cute little waffle cookie thing. Lovely atmosphere (covered porch so you can avoid the rain), and chill people.

Delicious lattes and friendly baristas/cashiers. The drive-thru wait can be a little long, but it’s worth it. Their seasonal drinks are great.

We stopped by one of our favorite used book stores and found covid had changed the days they were open, today they were closed and somebody opened up a very nice coffee shop a few doors down. They have a drive thru and a walk up window. They also have covered outside seating which we enjoyed for a short time. The frappe/blended frozen coffee drink they made my wife was very tasty, couldve been a tad thicker. Our buddy hesitantly asked for an iced Americano.....the last few places she got this sucked....todays was a winner....it got the Margo seal of approval. I almost always judge a new coffee place by their hot cappucino, excellent drink. We will be back for more great coffee done well. Great friendly baristas. They have a connex/small storage container with a dog and cat version/mural of the Abbey Road album cover painted on the side.

Great coffee shop with a good selection of drinks and had fast and friendly service. They have something that no other coffee shop has that I always get and its called the shandy. Its a half and half but with coffee and lemonade. I know it sounds strange but the unique taste is something Ive grown to love.

I love uncle beans! Everyone is always so friendly and the coffee is always amazing! I also love the convinience of the drive thru, which is perfect if you want a quick coffee trip. They also have a super adorable outdoor seating area is you want to drink your coffee there. In addition they are super pet friendly!

This is a pretty cool place with a great selection of drinks. I was especially excited to have two different cold brews to choose from.

Good coffee, food and snacks are decent. However, I will say that their chicken salad sandwich is the best that Ive had so far in 3 years in Houston. It comes on a flakey, doughy croissant. Its a creamy chicken chunk with grapes and small nuts in it, which I personally prefer. Just like grandma used to make. 👌🏼

First time stopping by and the large menu of both drinks and food was a nice surprise.We all ended up having their own called most popular beverage, the Horchata Latte.Which not only is delicious but also looks fantastic on photos ;)The place has an amazing style, and it’s outdoors only.They have a drive-thruOnly thing I will consider when coming back is the price, which was over $20 for the three.

Love love love! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and definitely high quality pastries. I tried the Blueberry Cream Cheese Danish and the Fruity Pebble Latte. Not to sweet and very flaky. The drink wasnt sweet but definitely tasted like Fruity Pebble. Ohhhh memories. I will be back. •••Bonus they have outside sitting and a drive thru!

I was in a huge rush to get to my next appointment, needed a pick me up, and some food. They sensed my urgency and were on point. The owner even came and brought me the food. Wasn’t able to sit down but definitely coming back when I need me time ya know or a one on one. Great job y’all bravo and welcome Uncle Beans to the Woodland Heights.

Friendliest coffee shop in the Heights, this ex-Texaco gas station is so popular for walk ups, especially dog owners. The java and, if youre early enough, the barbacoa tacos make a fine start to my day. Outdoor seating was a welcome break from masking during the pandemic, with Saturday flea markets, worth a check out.

1st time visit and had the cold chocolate latte. Best ice coffee Ive had! I look forward to future visits to try them all!

Uncle Bean’s is definitely the best local coffee shop in the Heights area and all of Houston. The owner Rusty was awesome! She took the time to visit with us & tell us all about their new family business and how they are actively involved in so many charitable and local events in the Heights Community. This is not your run of the mill Starbucks, Uncle Bean’s is locally owned and you can 100% tell they care about their customers as much as they do their delicious varieties of coffees and drinks. They have a great food menu as well, with fresh fruit and fresh baked scrumptious pastries. 5 stars all the way around! We will now be making this our morning stop on the way to work. Dog friendly as well - which is a huge plus to hang out on the spacious patio and get to know new people and socialize your fur babies.

The patio atmosphere is a great place to work during the week and a great place to relax while out and about on the weekends. Especially for the dogs! They always have pop up shops and events which are fun for the kiddos and family. The drinks are top notch, especially the creative seasonal drinks that they come up with. My go to coffee spot in the Heights. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Cute little spot. Great menu. Came mid-morning. Employee was...off-putting. Its not like I was attempting to engage in any superfluous banter, but even stating my order and the act of tipping was like interacting with an apathetic automaton. Breakfast sandwich was dry and bland. Asking for condiments of any kind got me a look like doing a magic show in a coma ward. Did I have something on my face? Yeah, as we all should now. Maybe despite that I reminded them of someone they dont think deserves a professionally hospitable demeanor. Did they ironically need some caffeine? Ill try this place again next time Im nearby, for science.

I just recently discovered this shop and Im disappointed in myself for not finding it sooner! I havent had a drink yet I didnt like, everyones super nice and they have a very convenient drive thru. My dogs also love that they can get their own cup too!

What a sweet place to share breakfast with a friend! The coffee was terrific and the cranberry-orange muffin tasted homemade. The patio was shaded and comfortable, and flowers on each table added a nice touch. I will be back!!!

What a fun little hidden away cafe. Great place to hang out and just chill. And the coffee and sweets are great. It’s located in a chill neighborhood surrounded by trees and easy to get to.

I got to try this cute little coffee shop today & I must say.. this is the best Iced Mocha Latte ever. Super cute walk up area & very cozy for people that would like to sit down & enjoy a cup. Service was super quick & the barista was such a doll. 10/10.

Cute walk up coffee spot. The caramel frap and cold brew were perfectly delicious for the warm day. Its mostly street parking but there is a drive thru and a small patio to relax on. There are also treats for the kiddos and your pupper!

I walk to this place for coffee a couple times a week and like it. The coffee is quite good and I noticed they use Araya beans which are tops. The outdoor seating is very comfortable. Recently, they have been adding more and more food items to their menu. I’m glad to have them on the Eastern edge of Woodland Heights.

Have you seen that episode of The Office where Pam really needs coffee and Michael gives her a mug and replies Sugar and Milk. Well.... I really needed a white chocolate mocha and Uncle Beans gave me sugar and milk. No, no I kid you not, literally sugar and milk that was somehow diluted with water. Uncle Beans is the Michael Scott of coffee. Just as Michael may think he is clever, cool and hip and gives delicious cups of coffee but in reality he is none of those things. That is Uncle Beans, starves to be cool but is lame and gives you sugar and milk.For the record, I love The Office and hate Uncle Beans.

At first, I didn’t think this coffee place was a good idea. I mean, we already have Antidote and so many other top notch coffee shops. However, when the pandemic hit, I decided to give Uncle Beans another try. The setup is perfect for COVID precautions- even if you are walking over and not doing the drive through, there is minimal contact. They have pastries available that are pretty good, personally a little sweet for me but they taste good. There is a wide variety of beverages, coffee, and even some smoothies. The ordering experience is super smooth and easy, and in a convienent location. Overall, I recommend you add Uncle Bean’s to your list for a quick snack and coffee run, or just an enjoyable experience.

At first I wasn’t sure about this coffee place but MAN! Am I glad I went, great coffee and great service! Elayna was so helpful and made me feel right at home ❤️ I will DEFINITELY be coming back !

Cool little coffee shop. Its mostly for drive thru or walk up orders, but if youre lucky they have one parking spot! Lots of milk and syrup alternatives as well as snacks. Fun decor outside to sit and enjoy.

I finally tried this place after passing by many times! I dont know why I waited so long. My latte was on point. They had a lot of other treats on the menu that Ill be going back to try. I really liked how they had a drive thru! Such a major plus for me. Its worth the little extra I pay compared to the bigger chains.

I love this cute neighborhood coffee place. I can walk there, and they offer outdoor seating. However, I cannot recommend it since they do not allow customers to use their restroom. The last 3 times I visited, the restroom was locked. How can a coffee shop serving food refuse to allow customers to use the restroom? Pre Covid it was allowed. I understand the new precautions put in place during Covid, but this is so inconvenient for customers! Please rethink your policy.

Friendliest people around. Discovered them yesterday for the first time and have been craving it since. Tacos are amazing as is the blueberry danish. My friend got a macha tea and loved it!

We saw this as we were heading somewhere for coffee and wanted to try it since it reminds us of all the little coffee places up north. I’ve always been picky with chai lattes because some places make them very light to where you can’t taste the chai. This place makes a really good chai latte! My fiancé had a regular latte and that was delicious too! The coffee beans that they use are so delicious.

Location is easy to get to with seating available if you wish to hangout. It is all out doors but provids plenty of cover. The cost here is above average in my opinion. They do have a few unique options on their seasonal menu however, nothing that would keep me coming back especially with two regular sized drinks coming in at about 15$.I live in the Cypress area but have come here twice to give it a fair try. On my last visit my gf and I got the green me smoothie and the fruity pebbles coffee. Smoothie was decent enough while the fruity pebbles coffee was more sweet then fruity pebbles tasting. Over all I would say this is a very average coffee shop. Good for a quick drink if you just happen to be passing by.

Great place for grab and go coffee. However, it isnt the best place to bring a group of friends as we had a hard time finding parking even though there was only about 2 other customers at the time we were there. Outdoor seating only, and its pretty limited. Coffee was good though.

This is my new favorite neighborhood coffee shop! The owners are super friendly and the patio is really nice. My favorites are the cold brew and a lattes. I had a period where I couldn’t have dairy and the coconut milk latte was so good it made up for the feeling of “missing out” on dairy. If you haven’t tried them you should!

I love that they have a drive thru so I can still get good coffee beans while maintaining social distance. I also like that you can add CBD to drinks. Love this place.

My cafe au lait was cold, my husband paid for 2 plain croissants, they told him after he had paid that they only had 1 and made him choose something different. The baked goods aren’t even made in house. The only reason we went was because Commond bond to go was closed. Will definitely not be returning. Also the chai latte was extremely sweet.

If I could rate no stars I would. Horrible prices for the smallest cup of coffee (the 16oz is all they carry). I got the cold brew and it looked like iced tea, very watery and not concentrated at all. Not sure what beans they use but its definitely not coffee beans.It tasted like old nasty water with a flavor I cant quite place. Save your money. Dont go here.You could not pay me to go back.

I drove through on my way to work this morning and loaded up on pastries and cookies for the office. Talk about instant popularity with the co-workers! My latte was excellent -- beans werent over-roasted but were perfect -- and the treats were awesome. The almond croissant was enormous (enough for two), cookies are soft, chewy and huge, blueberry scones were gorgeous. Service was fast, the place is cute and the staff are awesome. Ill be back!
