Great cozy place. Wonderful spot to study (except for the back ground music, which is sometimes off) and the dim light is very soothing. The staff is just super sweet and amazing. There is a decent number and types of seats to choose from as well; indoors and outdoors. However, the parking can be a hassle as is the case with many other cafes/restaurants in the area. And also the food is really unimpressive. Maybe only on Sundays or that one particular Sunday I was there, starving! The pastries were not fresh (made the previous day according to the cashier) and there was only one choice of food: tamales which was honestly not the best tamales in town. AND it was definitely over-priced. I think I’ll go back there but definitely not order food…

This place is very cozy (its a house turned coffee shop) with lots of little seating areas. The coffee is also very good and the people that work there are super nice. The background music can be a little distracting, sometimes it gets pretty crowded, and I wish connecting to the WiFi was automatic and there wasnt a password. Those things aside its a really nice place and parking is easy.

After visiting for the first time yesterday, my sister and I were trying to figure out what was so great about this place. Aside from the incredible coffee and selection of unique flavors both in the drinks and food, the atmosphere at Campesino is just perfect. She and I were discussing how it’s difficult to find a coffee shop that is unpretentious and cozy, but they hit it right on the nose. Staff very kind and chill. Good music but not played so loudly that you can’t focus. Nice decor and plenty of seating both inside and out. Also the Cuban coffees and guava pastries are something I haven’t found much of since leaving Florida. Definitely will be coming back for good coffee, good food, and a great place to study or hang out with friends.

Last night (4.13.21) I visited this coffee shop in hopes of finding a quiet place to conduct a zoom meeting. I completely forgot my mask at home and was so disappointed! I thought I was going to have to turn all the way around and miss my meeting. However, the staff simply offered me a mask as a courtesy and I was able to get some tea and muffin and dine in peace. I truly appreciated their customer service and willingness to help and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a comfy coffee shop in the area! Good service still exists!

Ive visited on and off through the years, and it has kept its classic coffee shop feel. There are no Edison light fixtures or industrial shelves that most places use lately. Nothing wrong with that look, but Campesino remains intimate, cozy, and welcoming as evidenced by the full tables of people studying, working, or just socializing.Coffee has always been a toss-up. One visit can be really great, another one just okay; but it wouldnt be fair to judge them solely on a bad coffee day. I usually like getting the cafe de olla, but I tried the Mayan mocha this last time.Ive never tried their food so cant comment about that.Last thing which most people probably wouldnt care for, but I think the owner is (was?) Salvadoran. Idk if ownership has changed, but I remember reading about El Salvador when they had a website and seeing a tip box wrapped with Salvadoran colones when it first opened. Im always happy to support someone with Central American connections.

Great coffee shop that still has an old house feel and chill atmosphere.Stopped in on a beautiful day while I was in the area anyway and was pleased with my experience in this coffee shop. The menu situation right now is a little bit of a pain because there only appeared to be one menu available for viewing, and the people in front of me were very indecisive. No problem though, if there is any place you should chill, it’s here. :-)There are lots of nooks and crannies to be seated here, both indoors and out. There is also parking available.I appreciated that they had a social distance setup at the cash register for sure.I ordered, I think, the Campesino Cafe Con Leche which was a cafe con leche also with cinnamon added. It was delicious for sure.I hope to make it back here again another time.

Pros: comfortable seating inside, optional seating outside, wifi, plenty of outlets to charge your computer or phone, decent horchataCons: food is bland, most drinks are bland, drinks are a bit overpriced for the quality. The food/drinks arent why you come here; you come here to work on your computer. Their drinks arent intense like Italian coffee, but they also arent overly sweet like Starbucks lattes, so theres that. Its not to my taste, but at least the ambiance is nice and service is great.

Great Cuban-inspired coffeehouse for studying. Strong-tasting lattes, estan buenos! Also appreciated the guava empanada. My favorite thing was the music, the main reason for giving a 5-star review. I’ve listened to soft Ibrahim Ferrer and old boleros during a couple visits. It is such a nice change from other coffeehouses. I looked around for a Latinx coffeehouse, this is one of few I’ve found.

After a stressful weekend we visited this place on a Monday afternoon around 2pm. To our surprise there was plenty of people but despite being compact there was plenty of room outside and indoors. The service was really good and We ended up trying a traditional café de Olla and an horchata latte. They were both delicious and fragrant. Unfortunately we didnt get to try any of the food since they were all out but apparently they might get some food in a few mins so we might get around to trying it. I will update shortly if we do.

What a sweet place to sit and have a conversation or get some studying or work done. Loved the authenticity of the indoor area and the outdoor patio was charming with the graffiti walls and seating areas. I got cafe-de- Olla and absolutely hated the taste. Cheese empanada was below mediocre too. When I checked menu online I wanted to get the Leche one and was looking forward to the Mexican clay pot. Upon getting there, no sign of this one or the Mexican clay pot. I was disappointed!

We loved this place very much, kept coming back for more for the cafe deOlga con leche... the menu states that it has piloncillo and cinnamon and while the flavor takes you back to authentic cafe de olla it was a bit of a ddisappointment to find out that its not really made in house with teak cinnamon or piloncillo its just a flavored coffee. It was hard to find parking here, as expected. The layout is like a house, with many small rooms, which is cool. There are people studying and playing games, but its extremely LOUD!! Had the Horchata Iced Latte and it was delicious. Also had a chicken tamale as a snack.. yum! Very cute place to relax with a cup of coffee. However, it would be better if they put a time limit on how long people can sit around on their computers without buying something. I really wanted to relax in their warm and quaint space, but because all seats were taken up by people with empty cups and who had seemed to be sitting there for hours, I had to sit and enjoy my warm tamale in the cold.

I didnt get the full experience of being here due to it being closed from the freezing weather, but the owner was there and offered us drinks on the house. That alone is worth five stars. The menu has Latin representation, which is pretty cool and not usually seen from other coffee shops. Even though the drinks were on the house, I left a large tip for their awesome drinks and hospitality.

Elation and relief is is the emotion one experiences when they try a new spot and it exceeds their expectations. If you haven’t been to Campesino Coffee House, I suggest you give them a try next time you’re looking for something different and new.Campesino Coffee House is definitely a definitive definition of what a coffee house is, and furthermore should be.Its actually inside of a house! Finally a coffee house that lives up to the name. The atmosphere is cozy, quiet, and relaxing. The background music isn’t blaring.People are situated in various nooks and crannies quietly conversing, studying, working, or exercising their artistry.Seating options abound. Outside is a front porch with a few stools. Inside you’ll find sofas, coffee tables, small bars, window seating, and even a fire place. You’ll be happy to know there are also some large tables for group seating. There are a few pieces of art on the wall adding to this café homely aesthetic.Lighting is soft and warm, which plays well with the wooden floor and furniture. The coffee house menu and overall feng shui has subtleties of Latin American influence.Specialty drinks and lite fare such as the café de olla, tamales, tacos, and the fruit empanadas are some of the offerings. Sorry, they don’t serve savory empanadas.Overall, totally impressed by this coffee house.Customer service is personable.Vibes are chill.Menu is tasty.WiFi is fast.Seating is comfy.Space is like a home away from home.Indeed, Campesino Coffee House is a quintessential informal neighborhood café that many establishments would be remised not to try and emulate.

Coffee and the Tamales were great and the staff were very friendly and professional. I do have an issue but not enough for me to justify giving them less than five stars.Listen I understand that some of the appeal of coffee shops are to “write screenplays” and show everyone how professional you are by working at a coffee shop but half of the people taking up seats had clearly been there for a while and obviously are not continuously purchasing food and drinks to justify taking up real estate in this small business. This isn’t really a complaint towards management although I personally would require people at least purchase a coffee every two hours if they want to use your place to “work” but more of a complaint to people who take advantage of this business hospitality and free wifi (that they pay for) and you feel justified in potentially costing them money because you bought a $4 latte six hours ago.
