I just got Smith Thompson Security system. The big Pros for me was that they didnt make me sign a long term contract, and the affordability. Ive had it for 2 months now and customer support is very good. Only thing they could improve is timeframe of tech support coming to your house if you have a problem. My mobile app hasnt been working and its gonna take 2 weeks for someone to come out to fix it. But the company graciously offered a month free to compensate me which is very appreciated.

We have had SmithThompson security for about 5 years. It was an easily install using my original alarm system, which was not monitored. And for a low monthly, non-contract rate it is now monitored. I had the service technician look over the system today to replace the batteries and make sure everything was working. While he was here he added a remote so that we can turn the system on/off from the bedroom or even from the garage as we leave the house. The technician (I wish that I caught his name) did the job expertly, took time to answer any of our questions and the bill for all that was remarkably low I thought.

Whenever my alarm goes off, I get a call promptly wanting to know if they should send the police. More importantly is the aftermarket service. I have had a couple of issues with my alarm and the ST customer service has been patient with me on the phone helping me to troubleshoot to find out whats wrong with the system. And whenever I need them to come out (recently to reprogram the system), the technician is there promptly (during the time window given) and they are very polite. Finally, they are very affordable! I will 100% recommend ST to anyone looking for alarm installation/monitoring service.

We decided to switch over to Smith Thompson after realizing how much LESS expensive they are over ADT. The technician was extremely helpful in replacing our keypads, testing the system and even added extra zones to what they normally offer. Very pleased with the service weve been provided, the communication with the sales representative, and the installation. My only comment is that the buttons on the keypad are VERY hard to push- but I think well get used to that.
