Absolutely delicious gelato, but it is not cheap. We had been to this restaurant years ago and had fond memories of the excellent gelato, and our follow-up visit provided a great reminder of how wonderful their food is. I had two scoops in a cup, while my wife settled for just one. The scoops are generous portion sizes and they let you taste as many flavors as you want before you make a decision. That being said I had a very difficult time deciding on a rating. The gelato is fabulous and definitely 5 stars, but the prices are very high, so I settled on an overall rating of 4. We were on vacation and I was willing and able to pay the price for the taste and memories, but as the owners said in another post, their product prices arent for everyone.

We enjoyed eating ice cream here while we were on our vacation. This is where you get the best ice cream! That waffle cone was thick and dipped in chocolate 😋 The ice cream was yummy, delicious, and colorful. Many options to choose from and you will be overwhelmed by different kinds of flavors. Sad there is none in Texas!!

Owner was very nice and cared about his business however price is excessively high. 8-9 bucks for one scoop. After going in and seeing the price wanted to leave however we were already in there and didnt want to be rude.Gelato was good. Fruit flavors better than dairy.

First, they were open late (and according to their posted times!), which we are discovering is rare in these times. They let us try various flavors (all were yummy!), and even understood my husbands passion for good vanilla. Prices may be a little higher than regular ice cream, but then again, this is not regular ice cream!! No pics because we ate it too fast, but my family had lots of fun playing a round of Apples to Apples and writing notes on the big chalkboard. A super fun place to hang out with comfy seating, a shelf full of board games, and a kids area with more board games and toys. If you are in Hot Springs, try it out!

Ice cream was delicious. Very well made and super soft. Kids absolutely loved it. Definitely worth the price... i mean as everyone knows price is quality and they def have some pretty good quality ice cream

It is a bit expensive but the board games are free to play. So not too bad a deal I guess. Gelato was delicious. Staff was nice.

All the flavors look so good. I was allowed to taste test several flavors but I had my heart set on Rocky Road. I must say that it was a great choice because I love chocolate. Its was so smooth, flavor on point and to die for. This is a place you should pencil in on your calendar if your in Hot Springs AR. The taste is like none other. They have one, two, or three scoops and milk shakes. My wife got one scoop and I got two scoops as you you will see in the pictures. This Gelato is sooooooo good.

I loved this place. The gelato was fantastic. My husband had a cup of mango. My daughter had a cup of strawberry. I had a dipped cone but I cannot pronounce the name of what I had but it was delicious. The only thing wrong with this place is how much it was. This is a once in a while treat. Our order came to 31 and some change. That is steep for dessert. What about the family who can not afford the delicious treat. Like I said and no we are not rich this is a once in a while treat.

The ice cream is very rich. Its good. && The place is expensive. 3 single scoops (2 in bowl & 1 cone) was $32. My son not I even finished our ice cream. Too rich

We visited during our weekend getaway to Hot Springs. My group wanted ice cream after dinner and because Dolce is the only specialty store open late in town, we didn’t have much choice on where to go. The gelato was good, and we enjoyed it for the most part, but the prices kept us from returning. There are other specialty ice cream shops in town that are almost half the price, and that we liked better.

Most expensive ice cream i have ever seen. Walked right back out there. 10 bucks a scoop is illusion. The owner must think he can do same what is going on with the housing market. Absolutely unbelievable... I hope he will see the outcome of that unreasonable price hike in his ice cream soon.

We had a bad night at the casino and needed a place to cheer up, we are from out of town so just googled a place. Found this gem!! It’s super delicious, so many flavors we couldn’t choose, the customer service was great and they let us try different flavors. The inside looked like fun but was closed due to COVID. But they had games and coffee and all sorts of fun stuff. Overall best experience of Hot Springs yet!

Super friendly staff. Had a different taste of course..but mine didnt really taste like cookies and cream but it was still really good. Price was kinda high in my opinion for 2 single scoops in a bowl youre like at 18 bucks.

I really liked the ice cream but it is expensive in my opinion. 2 ice creams (2 scoops each) and a bottle of water is like almost 30 bucks. The store is pretty and people are nice and definitely this is a place to visit...just thought the prices were too much.

The pricing is outrageou and the gelato is not truly authentic. The pricing for a single is $8.44 which is more than the cost of a large Gelato at any other gelateria I have encountered in the world (including Italy) . Furthermore, the gelato is more like the flavor and consistency you would find in a tourist trap gelateria. The flavor and consistency was less than desirable, left me burping it up, and a film in my mouth. It was far too sweet for gelato.

It is amazing, if I lived here I would come by all the time. I had raspberry gelato and mango gelato, they were perfect for cooling off after a hot day.

If anyone tells you they know a better place for dessert other than dolce gelato, politely yet firmly ask them to leave. Gelato is better than ice cream first off and Ive never had better gelato. The owner has spared no expense in his machines, ingredients, and the process in which he uses. Thats why its pricey, but its worth every penny. Sample the pistachio gelato and you may not sample another flavor - its that good.

$10 dollars for average ice cream, staff not wearing masks.I spent years of my life traveling Europe and never spent this much for ice cream.

We came in and got 4 singles. 27$.. now I thought it was totally worth it. I had lemon sorbet and my kids strawberry. Husband mint gelato. He loved it. But bit the price.. I mixed my lemon with a strawberry for a strawberry lemonade, it was BOMB! It all looked tasty. :)

I stopped in today and the lady at the counter didnt have a mask on. She told me she doesnt have to wear one. I work in the food industry, and masks are required by law anyone serving food or beverages. Very disappointed.

Been here a few times, each time the workers are polite, patient if you need a few minutes to decide, and know how to describe every item. Clean environment as well. 💕 Never a disappointment!

Ive been coming here since it opened. I love this place. I lived in Italy for two years and got hooked on Gelato. This Gelato is as good as any Ive had. The business is owned by a husband and wife that are very friendly and patient to let you sample each flavor. Love this place.

This was our first time eating Italian ice cream and it was awesome and the flavors had such a big punch !! I highly recommend this place. It is adorable and would please the youngest to the oldest of generations. Such great customer service and took the to explain the flavors and let us test many flavors before we purchased one. But you will most definitely want them all. Great vacation destination !!! This is a homerun shop !!!

I’ve always said you know it’s a good place if it’s busy. And even with the town being in COVID recovery there was a steady stream of people! The ice-cream was very delicious, the presentation of all the flavors has your mouth watering right from the start! A bit on the pricier side compared to other locations in hot springs but very good! The wildberry, raspberry, biscoff, and chocolate flavors were all great!

Its pricey but then its not Baskin Robbins or Cold Stone. Definitely worth the trip. If youre in Hot Springs you must visit this place. Sweet frigid goodness

When I lived in Hot Springs I went to Dolce Gelato all of the time! It has a great atmosphere and amazing Gelato! The owners are great people and very friendly. Upon moving to the Dallas area I have searched for Gelato or Ice Cream and cannot find anything that even comes close to comparing to Dolce Gelato.

A good variety of flavors and sizes. The gelato was great. All of my kids loved it.

This was our second time enjoying this place. OMG! This is a must visit. The flavors are amazing and the service is just as amazing. The atmosphere is fun and bright and the staff is super friendly. When ever we are in the area we will definitely stop by.

Absolutely THE Worst Gelato! Do not waste your money at this specialty shop. Even a supermarket freezer gelato, such as Ciao Bella, which is outstanding, puts this overpriced gelato to shame. If you want real gelato, visit a real Italian area of the country or just go to Italy. Ice cream is great in Little Rock an hour away at Loblolly on Main St.

Good gelato. Expensive. Got children cups for the kids and I. Would have been cheaper to buy a 3 pint container to share. Smelled very strongly of coffee. Which isnt ideal for us as just the smell starts giving my husband migraines. But if you like the smell of coffee, this place has it. :-)

Visited three times in a week while in town. The owners are very friendly and provide good service. The sandwich was tasty and came out quickly. All the gelato we tried was excellent. The crepe gelato was our favorite way to enjoy it. Its a little pricey for dessert, but I suppose freshness comes at a cost.
