I had originally given this store a one star rating about two months ago because of their mask mandate but since then they have stopped requiring masks and am giving them four stars, but that may have just been because of the employee working there at the moment, if the manager stops it and makes masks mandatory again I will go back to the one star rating and stop going there again. The main reason its not five is because their trade in deals are not that good and this particular store isnt as good as some of the other Gamestops Ive been to but overall its a good place for games Ive youre looking to buy.

A good place to buy games buy NEVER try to sell here. A unopened 60$ game they wouldnt buy because it wasnt open so I unwrapped and opend it and I was offered 20$ because it was opened. When selling here they are crooked and greedy.However buying here the prices are usually fair

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service and will NEVER go back! I spend $400 on average a month in there and will now give my business to ANYONE ELSE but them! The Shift Managers were so rude that I walked out! If I could give it 0 stars I would! Besides the HORRIFIC customer service they were out of stock of every game I pulled off the shelf for them to check to make sure they had it! Why have cases on the shelf if you dont have the game! Corporate really needs to do an overall on this location! You should NEVER talk like this to a customer!!!!

I come here any time I can just to check if they have any gunpla. But each time I find a little more! There hasnt been a time where I visited where I didnt have a lengthy convo about the newest game out or the game related to what Im buying. Its always nice. :)

Gamestop in Hot Springs and Gamestop as a corporations is terrible. They rob people blind with trade in and trash. They also lose pre-orders and say they where refunded like my PS5 pre-order and couldnt provide proof that it was refunded. And had already sold mine. I only go in the store because my daughter likes. Hell they wont even let disabled people use their restroom.

I like this particular gamestop the service is good had to take a controller back because the buttons were sticking Fatima took good care of my grandson. I have always had good service here, I sure hope when they close some of the stores they do not close this one.

Ordered an xbox one and at 1:30am i recieved an email that said due to high demand we have cancelled your order said it would take a few days to return funds to my card though. Doesnt seem right. Then on friday i get the xbox. Meanwhile i spent all day Thursday finding an xbox for my sons birthday. The following monday i take the xbox into gamestop to get my money back and the store leader Zachary could care less about the stress i had to endure, the stress that the company he works for and represents caused. Didnt offer an apology or anything, just told me i had to take it up with gamestop.com, and actually seemed like i was bothering him. So be warned folks.

On November 9 2020 we had called the store just to verify the amount we needed to pay. We were put on hold and we stayed on hold for over 42 mins. We actually drove to the store to find put why a valued customer would remain on hold for so long. When we got to the store there was one store clerk and there were two people and the clerk was on the phone. Once he got off the phone we were the only ones in the store and we asked him why we were still on hold. He picked up a different phone and stated that he had accidentally forgot that we were on hold on one phone while he was using a different one. We recorded our phone and what the store clerk had said as well. We almost cancelled our two preorders for the Xbox Series X. This is one reason i had stop dealing with Game Stop, the lack of care with employees.

The new manager and assistant manager here are absolutely wonderful and both will go above and beyond to help find what you are looking for. They also continue to suggest ways that I can get what I want sent to the store and avoid having to pay for shipping or even offering to pick games up from sister locations and bring then here so that I wouldnt have to drive out of town. They have earned and will continue to get my business.

I was in line to pre-order the PS5 when I was told there was 13 pre-orders left. I was number 13 but by the time I got to the front of the line there were no pre-orders left. I guess the guy checking everybody out had a friend or brother or someone that needed it more than the guy who wasted his time in line. oh by the way had bought his last three consoles from this location and who will not be buying anything from there anymore.

GameStop, more like toystop...it seems like the store has more figures and toys than actual games! Compare it now against it in 2014. Heres a tip for gamers out there, go to Best buy to get games, or hell... Go to a damn Game X Change

I have two sons that like video games and GameStop on Central Avenue has everything they want, usually in stock - if not, theyll order it. The customer service is excellent and they are courteous and knowledgable about the different games and game systems. We can tell them if we are looking for a first person game and theyll give us choices. Theyll also let me know if the game is not appropriate for their age levels. Weve been going to GameStop for over 7 years and weve always been satisfied with our purchases and the service. Highly recommended.

Im originally from California but this GameStop was bigger than I expected and had a lot of options for collectables and Clothes. The store was clean and well taken care of and the staff were very friendly and ready to help.

I bought an PS3 game here and when u got home i had a Xbox game i was so mad about her not paying attention and giving me the right game. Well it called and told her and asked can they give me for driving all the way back to get the correct game she said nothing but give u the PS3 game i mean really i had a 30 min drive back to them and waist of gas and time because she didnt like her job. Id fire her quick if u owed it.

I go in to return a game I purchased used a few weeks ago than I didn’t enjoy at all for 50 dollars. It had a few tiny scratches on the top of the disk that the clerk pointed out to me upon purchase and assured me it wouldn’t effect play, and it didn’t. I go to return the game and the new assistant manager Jessa (who also took ten minutes to realize I was standing at the counter while she was in the back) said the scratches depreciate the value and would only give me 6 dollars in credit becaue she is the new assistant and is picky. (Even though I purchased it from her store line that). I said fine, just give me a copy of the new far cry, she said they didn’t have it rudely...so I have my business to wal mart. I will be not be renewing my membership or setting foot in one of the stores again.

Amazing!! I have bought games from this store since its doors have opened and I refuse to go anywhere else. They have done nothing but give me loyal service and help me whenever needed. I had a defective PS4 that PlayStation would not let me return to get a new system. Although I did not get a full refund, GameStop was there the whole way to make sure I got all of my moneys worth of everything I had. From selling to buying and everything inbetween, this GameStop is THE GameStop.

Went specifically for a Wii u game pad charger and was met with no enthusiasm and just a lack of customer service. Upon arriving home I discovered it wasnt even the right chord, so obviously it wasnt even tested, I guess it wasnt worth the effort to check and see if they even bought the right product. Ill just go to the game exchange across the street from now on.

Great selection of new and pre-owned games.Bought a Nintendo Switch here as a Christmas gift. Their price was as good as Wal-Mart and better than BestBuy with way more games to choose from- hence the name.You can also buy a used/pre-owned game, and if you dont like it, just swap it out within 7 days! Ive done this on more than one occasion.Great customer service with very knowledgeable staff.

My sons went into store next to Walmart in Hot Springs. Talk to Christian she was rude and called my sons a SmartA.. my sons did not know they had to be 17 to buy a game and when he pulled out his AR DL it shows hes not. So then she told them you have to be 17 to buy this game. And then called them that. I hope tomorrow when I ask for the Manager something gets done.

I have had amazing experiences at this store, from the kind and knowledgeable Sales Associates, all the way to having questions for items I didnt even purchase at GameStop specifically.I have had many bad experiences at OTHER gaming stores including Best Buy when I bought the Minecraft Memebership card with the code. I was eager to play it, but when I used the code, the game stated that the code had already been used. I went to return/exchange it, but was told that it was against best buys policy. So I hunted all over town for a game expert to give me some advise for my lost money on a dud game membership card. Game exchange said I was screwed in the situation, and didnt even try to help.Upon explaining my situation to an associate at GameStop, they helped me look online for any way to contact the main company, Mojang, about the dispute. Though we didnt find anything, I was just happy that the GameStop employee was kind enough to spend her time to help me figure out what to do.Another time they helped was when GameXchange was harsh on me, I had returned an ipod I bought due to it not working properly, and because they only had in-store credit to give back, I had to deal with keeping a little paper around it stating I had $50 worth to spend at gameXchange. When I went to use it, They said I had no Credit. So far, every gaming store I have gone to has Stolen money from me and left me with nothing but a useless card and a tiny piece of paper.All of them horrible except Game stop. GameStop has been helpful and kind, and I havent even needed to return a single item yet. They have excellent service, and plenty of awesome games to pick from with great deals from time to time. I got five awesome games at just over $30 (thats for all five games together, not $30 each. and these are games like final fantasy, assassins creed 3, naruto ninjastorm, etc.) at GameStop. And they are all smooth running, and pleasing to play. I highly recommend GameStop to every gamer I know and meet.
