This was my favorite bakery and today I went to pick up my pre ordered cake and this is the box that came in. Its like putting your gifts in a brown bag. No class. Employee said they ran out of the box but they have another store in Kalihi that couldve brought from. Now this expensive cake looks like ghetto. Im ver disappointed. Next time when they have everything squared away Ill put in a 5 stars for them.

The Turtle Bread is popular and tastes nice...has a cream cheese filling. The Red Bean Paste Bun was nice too...soft bun outside and not-too-sweet red bean filling inside. The Sesame Mochi Buns have a nice satisfying texture as compared to regular dinner rolls.

Saw cockroach gross!!! Dirty and unsafe already with roaches. I doubt they use safe food material or use expired food too!??!

I ate for the first time with the insert from my boss, and went to buy it myself the next day because it was so delicious!I think TURTLE BREAD is something nostalgic and reassuring for Japanese people.Its not flashy, but its an exquisite harmony of Japanese elements and Western style.Would it be nice if you could insert something or get a souvenir? I think.I havent bought it this time, but I have a whole cake, so I can order a birthday cake if I order.Please try TURTLE BREAD once!
