TL;DR Interesting alternative to your typical coffee shop and bubble tea place. It is a strong recommendation if you are nearby.It is located on the second floor of the International Market Place. There is a huge Waikiki sign outside of the shop if you are looking to take an Instagram worthy photo. There is also a Japanese market place across from the shop. While on a rainy day, it is a great spot to hang out or just to relax after spending a day on the beach.We got the most popular drink, Mahalo Halo. It has ice cream and crispy rice as topping and various fruits. I am a super fan of it. I recommend you can get one to share with another person.There is current no seating inside. There are a couple tables outside. I would recommend you just take a nice stroll around the market place instead. When we got there, luckily there were only two people in front of us. Some comment mentioned there can be a long line. I think the wait is definitely worth it. You can always come back after wondering around as well.

Wow, this was really good! First time trying Halo Halo and it did not. disappoint. At first, for $9, we thought it wouldnt be worth it, but we were proven wrong! It was bigger than we thought and one was more than enough to share. It was delicious and the ube ice cream was amazing. We came back another time just to get the ice cream. Loved all the toppings!The shop is located on the second floor in the open air shopping center. Staff were all pretty chill too.

Magnolia Ice Cream and Treats is a good spot for ice cream and treats as the name implies lol. The service is friendly and the selections are big. I got the green tea, my husband got coconut, and my friends got guava ice cream. All were delicious. The kids size is more then enough for one person. Overall, a nice place for a tasty dessert.

Came here while visiting Oahu, we stayed away from them tourists areas for the most part but did stop by here for some halo halo. I got the corn flavor because I had never seen it as an option while he got the classic. Great taste in a nice area, felt like I was in Vegas for a minute.

The wait was ridiculous. Only one family in front and they offered a million samples over and over and over and over again. Took over 20 min. Overall was good, but there was a hair that ruined my appetite.

I’m not quite sure if we got a bad batch or what happened, but upon reading the reviews we were excited to try this place out (fellow ice cream lovers here!). My rocky road seemed to lack flavor that i was expecting and the coffee flavored ice cream seemed very gritty for some reason. I’m usually not that picky when it comes to my ice cream but for some reason I couldn’t do this place. Hopefully it was just a bad batch!

Delicious! Loved the young coconut + Ive ice cream paired with vanilla/melon/coconut ice. Went back a second time on my visit to Oahu and this time asked for less syrup on the ice, was way better and less sickly sweet IMO! Got pandan ice cream the second time and it was also super delicious.

Tried Magnolia and it was definitely a treat. Long line, decent flavor. Its a place to try for a late night (OK, they close at 9 PM) but not a place Id go back over and over again

We were craving some Halo-Halo and Shave Ice and our go-to store was closed so we came to Magnolias instead. This was our first time here and the staff were very patient and helpful while we made our decisions. I ended up getting a Buko Pandan Milkshake and was pleasantly surprised with how good it was! It was the perfect blend of flavor and thickness and I cant wait to come back here.

Delicious, not too sugary,fruity flavors,we ordered guava jackfruit and also ebu(purple yam) which was the best, you should definitely try it .

Very helpful customer service. I couldnt make up my mind for a single choice, because theres too many choices, so he offered a split cup. You can get samples too. The queso and jackfruit were uniquely flavored. You wont find vanilla here though.

Our family had a mini ube halo halo, a keiki scoop of chocolate, and a Hawaiian shaved ice for $16. Everything was delicious and we were able to get $18 parking validation (available with a minimum $10 purchase).

This Filipino ice cream shop specializes in tropical Asian flavors like langka, pandan, lychee, Thai ice tea - they even three kinds of ube: plain, with queso (cheese) and with macapuno (coconut).For those with picky kids or more pedestrian palates, you have your holy trio - vanilla, chocolate and strawberry (get all 3 and have a Neapolitan already).They also have the fixings for making halo halo - cups with the toppings are premade and waiting in a cold case just waiting for you to select your flavors.Located in the International Market Place, it’s convenient to get to even in Waikiki thanks to the large garage attached.

The shaved ice experience was awful. The pineapple flavor added tasted nor looked anything like peen apple juice. Dumped the thing after 1st bite. May want to ask what’s in their flavoring... definitely not natural.

Most interesting and unique flavors Ive ever seen.

I thought it was impossible to screw up ice cream until I came here. Instead of trying to reinvent ice cream, they probably should just stick to the basics. Service was terrible. 3 people working and it was like watching toddlers trying to run the shop.

Good place to reminisce about homemade halu-halo! Quite pricey but with good company who enjoys the flavor of Pinas, good enough. I know we can do this at home too but to go through all the trouble of getting ingredients, this one is worth it!

Been here a couple times, always young people working and having fun which is nice for someone like me, but I could see other people being irritated about it. Theyre pretty fast and relatively cheap, and the best part is the ice cream is super delicious.

Great place to cool down of youre in the International Marketplace. But minutes one star for parking. They only give you one hour, after that youll pay soothing like $5 each half hour

Nothing Beats Magnolia Ice cream!! just reminds you of your childhood that queso queso my favorite, it just makes you feel like home. Being in the Island is one thing but to have something where you from originally and brought something significant from your childhood to another place where it begins to feels like home.
