Is this the place showed in the Neflix series Terrace House? Why is it close down?
As fans of Terrace House and the Aloha State edition on Netflix, we made a trip to visit Eric’s Punchbowl Coffee truck! We met Eric and got a photo with him. He was nice and asked us where we were from(San Francisco). Found out that he actually lived in San Francisco for 7 years! That’s pretty cool! Ordered an iced milk tea (black tea and condensed milk) and a tropical tea (blend of orange pekoe/mamaki). We also got a Punchbowl shirt! The iced teas were delicious and started off our morning right :)
I feel like this place is a hidden gem! It’s a walk up food truck sharing a parking lot with a small car rental place. Delicious cold brew and fresh, tasty paninis. Highly recommend!! Quick service for how fresh everything tasted.
I visited Punchbowl Coffee twice in early Jan. The owner, Eric, was kind enough to take his time and communicate with each customer. Also, the quality of the coffee here is simply amazing, you can choose light~dark roast beans which are directly bought from the local plantation. I will definitely visit here again!
The wait for the drink was a bit too long. The drinks were each handcrafted upon order. The space had ample parking and walkable from ther main Waikiki shops. The taste was mediocre. I ordered the cinnamon tea. Nothing amazing to return for besides the House Terrace. Maybe that evening was a bit off for Eric the owner, but he was curt.
One of the best Vietnamese coffee I’ve ever tasted. Owner, Eric, is very passionate about coffee. From a coffee lover to another, great job. Can’t wait to taste the Mauna Kea coffee. 👍 will see you again next year.
Hidden gem on the island. Amazing staff, great coffee and a must see for Terrace House fans!
On a honeymoon late night food run and stumbled onto this place. Wasnt sure what to get and decided on turkey pesto and the kimcheese. I was half expecting processed cheese but I was wrong. Food was amazing and the gentleman working was awesome. Ill be back in the morning for coffee.
It’s my favorite cup of coffee, period. There’s just something about the siphon brewed Hawaiian coffee bean that gives a very smooth full flavor.
The best coffee on Oahu. The purveyor was super knowledgeable and took care in preparing a brilliant syphon method Hawaiian coffee. YUM!
Love the vibes and aesthetic!! We had the coffee jelly tea and grilled cheese - a yummy meal!
We had a delicious iced Vietnamese coffee and a matcha latte, both exceeded expectations with strong, smooth flavors. There is a nice area to sit in next to the truck which is shady in the afternoon and a chill vibe. We are definitely planning to come back during our weeklong vacation! They are building a permanent location right next to the truck but not sure when it will open.
Good coffee, it was cool to see syphon coffee be made right in front of us, and we got to meet the famous Eric!! :P
Iced coffee was delicious and the owner eric was lovely :D

I happened to find it on YouTube and went! You can speak and speak while talking in Japanese as it is normally spoken.I ordered only a drink because it was before meals, but it was very delicious. The place is a little difficult to understand, but if you walk with caution, there will be signs so you can find it soon.
Iced coffee was delicious! I dont usually drink black, but I recommended it to Eric! It is easy to drinkT-shirt was also nice and purchased. I will go again 🤩The staffs older sister and Eric were very friendly and enjoyable!
I had hot and iced coffee. We seem to use only 100% Hawaiian beans, and agreed with the taste and commitment. The store is still unfinished, but Eric has been redecorating while thinking, and I felt that there was also a commitment. I look forward to completion.I was happy to respond to the commemorative photo and it was a very good memory.Lets talk again!
I drank iced coffee and coffee jelly tea with a stylish menu, but the iced coffee was delicious. The clerk is pretty cute.It was nice to buy coffee beans (+ _ +)
Syphon hot coffee, the powder water ratio is slightly higher, the taste is slightly lighter, plus 10% of the amount of beans is just right!
I found a shop because I stayed nearby. The coffee was very delicious! The wagon and staff are cute and helpful. If you come to Hawaii again, you want to go to a coffee shop.
I would like to go for a coffee when I come back to Hawaii. Come here because the coffee is delicious! !
