The iced ube latte was phenomenal!! I wanted something different since I was visiting Hawaii & this did not disappoint👌🏽It was tasty, you could taste the 2 shots of coffee in it & it was refreshing. Staff was very friendly & even gave me some recommendations while visiting here. I will come back here before my trip is over.

This little spot, located on the inside area of Our Kakaako, offers a lovely mix of local drinks with a side of delicious coffee drinks and snacks. With great espresso and several Hawaiian coffees to choose from, definitely don’t ignore the case of freshly baked pastries.There’s normally inside seating but right now the outside areas have a few tables nearby to meet up, drink or eat. Great little cafe!

Food and coffee are always great and worth the wait (if there is one).

Ill always recommend 9bar for absolutely everything--she has it all. food, coffee, bakes are all excellent. they have the beautiful craft of delicious all figured out. try the single origin and the house blend espresso on your next visit--both are exquisite.

My go-to coffee shot. Great friendly staff with awesome coffee. They have some talented baristas that can whip up anything you want from espresso to cordado to matcha latte. Even have dairy free options like oat milk.The scuffins are incredible and they are always making new combination like banana chocolate chip and everything scuffins.

Very friendly service. Good coffee. The blueberry scone is super fresh, not too sweet, and delicious with real whole blueberries.

Love the pour over coffee, and bowls. Had the Aloha bowl today; the kimchi really spices up the dish.My friend who is vegan was able to get something satisfying as well.

I love 9Bar. The coffee is some of the best I have had. The food and baked goods are delicious. Lastly, for an Arizona boy who craves Mexican food... the chicken carnitas (yes, chicken) is legit.

This place is great. The coffee is on point, literally. The food (Cali bowl) is unreal, fresh and healthy. Don’t get me started on the scuffins. You gotta try this place. Usually pretty mellow too. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite coffee bar in Honolulu! I work at this place at least once a week. They are the only coffee bar that I have found in Honolulu that does a proper latte, cappuccino and mocha! They are authentic Italian coffee drinks! Not just steamed milk in a cup! Best of all they serve you for here drinks in real mugs and glasses. They just need to get real plates and bowls. The food here is good too. I love the Cali Bowl- like a breakfast burrito bowl with a perfect poached egg, YUM! The burritos are good too. The scones are massive and not sweet which I like. They have awesome mochi bars and I just tried a lilikoi float with condensed milk gelato- best ever for a treat! This place is crowed on the weekends, as it should be. But I always find a table to work at during the week (free internet). Im a regular!

Visually its a great place. It looks cool and offers a variety of hot and cold beverages. UNFORTUNATELY, I decided to order espresso ($3!) and that was probably the worst espresso in my whole life. It tasted as if someone had squeezed lemon in my coffee. The girl said it the type of coffee beans. They served it with a glass of water (and thats how good bars do it in Italy, so yay), but the water was sparkling water, which not everyone likes and completely cancel the taste of coffee you have in your mouth (I was actually grateful for that!).My friend had a Jump Start Latte and that was really good!Im giving 3 stars because Im sure its a good places, I was just unlucky with my coffee!

Love this spot - I drop by anytime I’m in town and make sure to get a coffee and scuffin to go 😎 Located in the Salt plaza and validate parking, which is key in that area!! There are multiple coffee shops around there, but 9Bar is by far my favorite!

Excellent California breakfast bowl, delicious, fresh-poured nitro cold brew . Very fast, even with a full cafe. Decided to check this place or on a whim, Ill be back while Im here in vacation.

Also enjoy the Aloha Bowl (I think thats what its called)...there are 2 kinds that I really like...one with rice, kimchee, egg, furikake, & what other goodness they put in. Then the other one has mini potatoes, crispy bacon, egg, veggie, &what other goodness they put in...the pic below doesnt do it the justice it deserves.

Best coffee on the island!

Im so happy I found this delicious, boutique coffee shop. The drinks are excellent. I had a plain, unsweetened black coffee so I can say unequivocally that the coffee tastes great. The store is clean, small, and well kept. The TV and water station make this a nice place to sit and work, yes they have Wi-Fi.The food is limited to a small selection of menu items made in-house -- perfect strategy for a place like this. I had a scuffin (scone + muffin) that was delicious. If youre in Kakaako while this place is open (the hours are somewhat limited), I recommend stopping by.

Their fish tacos were AMAZING! Relatively cheap and super fresh and filling. Coffee was excellent as well. It’s a sweet and unassuming spot.

I only had the Cali Bowl, but it was really good. They put their own spin on several breakfast items, a d have some really interesting sounding coffee drinks, too. Like the Espro Mule - espresso and ginger beer. Ill have to try that next time.

Great little spot for hearty cookies and scones, coffee shop drinks and simple but quality brunch items. I started with a chocolate chip walnut cookie which was supple, nutty and touched with just the right dose of sweetness. The best Ive had in Hawaii!Followed it with a Cali Bowl, a small looking but very filling meal of whole baby potatoes, thick crispy bacon, poached egg, sour cream, guacamole, and a side serving of nicely balanced red salsa. The presentation was brilliantly simple, yet artfully organized, and the pure flavors and spot on textures made my morning complete.To top off the experience, service was friendly and efficient, and I felt genuinely appreciated as a customer, a rare treat for sure.

What a great experience my wife and I had here. The service was fantastic and the food was too! I had the breakfast burrito and everything in it was fresh and nothing tasted like it came from a can. The salsa on the side had just the right amount of kick and was fresh. My wife had one of the bowls and she loved it. The pineapple passion drink was also really good. There need to be more places like this. I only wish they were open for dinner so I could eat there more often.

Cute little neighborhood cafe / coffee shop w/yummy baked goods and good coffee. it does get crowded in the mornings, so youll be lucky if you can snag a table. but its cozy and great for people watching.remember to get parking validation; 1st hour is free and the 2nd hour is only $1.

Top notch care is taken with your chosen caffeine fix, delicious in-house baked treat and quick protein fuelings! Its a small space and they definitely dont blast the A/C or music, so go in there prepared.

Amazing service, Im always treated with a smile. Their food is so good you would never think your eating at a cafe and not an expensive breakfast joint. As good as their food is their coffee is even better. Nitro Brew so smooth youll never need cream, lattes that leave you wanting a latte more of them, and sparkling juices cause who doesnt love bubbles!

This is the best coffee on the island... BAR none! *baddum tiss*They prepare it like it should be prepared. I didnt even know how it should be prepared until I started drinking lattes from here. I kinda knew that most places make their coffee grossly sweet, but I didnt really equate that to detracting from the flavor of the coffee itself. Well, this shop makes the most of the actual flavor of the beans they use in their espresso, and I cannot recommend it enough. Its just so GOOD.I like the scuffins (scone muffins?) but Im not 100% sold on all of the flavors Ive tried, but this place has the best coffee out of all the shops, whole-sellers, and farms that Ive tried coffee from locally or abroad.

Most obnoxiously pompous staff, including management, I have ever encountered in my long career of pompous, overhyped and overpriced coffee shops. The quality and presentation/coffee service does absolutely nothing to justify the arrogance of the employees nor the pricetags with no refill or accompanying friendly service seals the deal as worst experience Ive had at a coffeehouse. Unlike places like Intelligencia in Los Angeles, who pride themselves on incredibly high quality coffee as well as an attention to detail in preparation and service that helps to justify the pricetag and slightly snobby staff. This place offers all the snobbery with none of the experience. Two giant thumbs down.

Only reason no 5 atars is that you can leave here smelling like onions or taco spice mix for the rest Of the day if the kitchen is busy when u get there and sit inside. ALWAYS get a scuffin - try every flavor but a fave is the green tea and bacon chive. Coffee is always on point. Better than the other 85 coffee shops on the block.
