Horrible people to work with. They never return your phone calls. I paid off the loan of my truck early and I am due a refund for my GAP insurance. I have called over 10x in a 2 week period and have left multiple messages for the finance department, with no returned calls.JN Auto is so quick to take your money, but slow to refund you.

I made an appointment to begin with. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I dropped my car off with Mikey, also very nice dude to work with. He explained all of the charges accurately and there were no unexpected charges, plus there was no pressure. I brought my 13 Malibu in for a Special Warranty that involved the exhaust camshaft actuator solenoid, which the mechanics knocked out of the park. The car doesnt tremble at stops anymore. I also had them look at the parking brake they did a diagnosis and I denied further work. Great place to go to get great, quality work done. I highly recommend to bring your cars mechanical needs here.

Nice people but they post entirely different prices online from what they actually have. Example: equinox cost 21000 online at JN auto, get to the place and test drive it and all of a sudden equinox cost like 36000 thousand. Yes it was a better model supposedly (still looked like base) but not by much. I figured with taxes and fees and stuff it would be like 25k or so but I wasnt even close.

Mike is a great and professional salesman I’ve worked with. JN not that good. 1st, we looked around and found few vehicles then we narrowed to one which was 44k. Came inside the price changed to 49k. CONFUSE!!! So how they do it they found out I’m in the military. They raised the price higher that what GM put out. How I found out is that I left to Chevy at Waipahu and their vehicles were same but all their truck beds are coated with bed liners. Price is 37-39k almost 10k difficult right. So if you’re looking for a great price by not haggling then Servco guys are the right place on Oahu. Mike is still the best salesman even though he didn’t win the war.

JN Automotive group was the only dealership I would do business with until recently. They were easy to work with and cared about their customers. I have bought 3 vehicles from them and 3 motorcycles and never had a complaint until now. I recently traded in a truck I bought from them. I leased a new vehicle from JN Chevrolet on Nimitz Hwy. The truck I traded in had an aftermarket extended warranty (I purchased through them). When I traded the truck in they told me to return to the original dealership and cancel the warranty and I would receive a refund. I went to Audi on Nimitz Hwy and attempted to cancel the warranty. I was told I would receive my refund in 6-8 weeks. I am now currently deployed and still have not received the refund. I have called the dealership multiple times and they say they will look into it and let me know. They continue to do nothing!!! It has now been just over four months and I still do not have any answers. I will not be returning to a JN dealership ever. I hear Cutter has amazing customer service!!!!

When we first got to the island, my husband and I made a bad private purchase and ended up at JN Automotive out of desperation. We were overwhelmingly impressed with the GM who personally helped us find the perfect car. Also, our sales agent was very pleasant to work with.I give this dealership three stars because after we bought the vehicle, it seems like they are completely done with us. Im not asking to be invited for Thanksgiving, Im just asking for phone calls to be returned and for our second set of keys to be given to us.We purchased the car on September 22 and it is now almost mid December. We still have one set of keys, temporary plates and feel like weve been ghosted by them. It seems as if no one is accountable for follow up or answering any questions. They just put you through to another phone and you leave a message… Hoping to goodness that they may call you back.Its worth noting that when my husband went to the office, personally, he was told that things have been changing around there because they had a $250,000 vehicle just disappear from their lot. That was the reason given for why there is so much disorganization. Scary in itself.Our car is perfect and we referred several friends after the purchase, but their communication takes the island attitude over the top. Its simply lazy and inconvenient.

I recently purchased a new vehicle from JN Mazda. I am very satisfied with my purchase and my experience there. Everyone I dealt with there was nice, which should be expected of course. The difference between them and other dealerships I shopped around at was their sensible approach. They do not oversell, push upgrades, or insist on same day purchase. I made it clear from the beginning what I was interested in and was shown those models. They also worked with me over several days until I was ready to buy. JN Mazda allows the customer to express their concerns, expectations and ask questions. Thank you to Jose and other staff members for helping me through my purchase while being respectful and focusing on the customer needs.

POS service and staff. They break things on your car and then tell you that they didnt. I had a tow truck tow me to the service department. My tow truck driver will verify I had a radiator cap when the car was towed. After the service department checked in my car they said the cap was gone and I would have to pay for it. They are heartless and deceitful thieves.

My wife and I bought a Chevy Traverse from JN Chevrolet this weekend and cant say enough good things about the service and the staff - especially Tony, the sales rep.Tony *patiently* and *professionally* helped and assisted us through a million questions, four test drives, three different models, two different makes and one last-minute change-of-mind (ours).During the whole afternoon, Tony never did anything to move us along or hurry us through the entire process, and he was even brave enough to allow our six year-old son to play with his iPhone.Cheers, JN - and *thanks*, Tony, for a great experience!

Weve called their service department at least 5 times over the past month trying to set up an appointment for needed service and every single time it just rings and rings and eventually just goes to an operator who cant help us. Wasted our time even trying.

I had ordered a new car through Earl Highbarger back in July 2013. He said it would be here in 3 months. And sure enough, in early October 2013, the car was here, and had everything I asked for. On the day I had picked-up the car, Earl took me around to meet Ben the service dude, and Mike the parts dude. This came in handy because the day after I took the car home, I noticed a small paint defect. Ben told me no problem, bring the car in. I took the car in Tuesday, and the car was ready for me on Wednesday, with a perfect looking car, as if the paint speck was never there. Earl also told me up front when I got the car that the second remote/key didnt show-up with the car, but that he ordered it and he would call me when it got in. Sure enough, he called me a week later with the key. Throughout the whole process, Earl made things easy. He always returned calls/emails, and followed up on things just as he said. I never had to chase him down or remind him to do something. I had a great experience buying this car, and would recommend going through Earl at JN Chevrolet for your next car buying experience!

Our experience with JN Automotive Group was one that any car buyer who knows what they want should experience. Anthony Au was our sales representative. He made sure the investment we were making was the one we wanted. He talked to us, showed us around, answered all the questions we had, and showed us around some more, to make sure the car we were purchasing was the one we truly wanted. We werent planning on making the purchase that day but when Steve (the negotiator) and Anthony were both working together, along with the finance department, so we could drive away satisfied with the car we wanted there was no reason to wait. I am not sure where to begin. I will say, as a member of our Armed Services, and as a human being I am disappointed in the customer care and quality of professionalism that came out of this car dealership. I will try and keep this short. My only up front remark is for fellow service members. Buyer beware, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone since they have no integrity, lie to your face, and can not generate an accurate story. This dealership has too many separate moving parts.Which, none who talk to one another.I recently purchased a used vehicle with very low miles. I am talking less than 100 miles on practically a brand new SUV. I had the vehicle and put about 300 more miles on it within a week. During that time, the vehicle would just stop running. My brakes, power steering, and gas would die out, my RPMs would hit 0. Mind you yes it was a manual, but I was idling at either a red light, stop sign, or travelling down the highway.I will NEVER purchase from here again. They are supposed to have 65% prior service members working for them... What happened to their integrity and honesty? Apparently if you want to talk to the General Manager he is always in a meeting requires an appointment to be seen... I have never seen such low customer service and professionalism in all of my life.My first priority is my families well being... Theirs is making money and pointing the finger on how it needs to be fixed.... If I just bought this vehicle from you... Then you should have to figure it out, not me. I am done writing on here for now because I am getting flustered thinking of how they treated my family. Shame on you guys. When you tell me thats probably not what you want to hear... You might be on to something....

I was a homeless veteran with 5 kids getting my life on track. I needed a new van to be able to get to and from college that i just started. They let me know to come on in they were going to take care of me. The van I bought was supposed to be around $14000 and I was fine with that. They said they have to put it up 2000 more on paper so they could get me a loan from the bank, by telling the bank they gave me that much for my trade-in even know my old car wasnt worth it. So I didnt care at the time I was assured that I was still only going to pay around $14,000. Im 2 yrs in on payments and I just did the math and realized im paying over $22,000 and I went back to look at the contract and I saw how they smoothed talk me and tricked me when I was most vulnerable and needed help. Dont be like me and trust what they tell you. I was stupid and I actually believed them.

Horrible experience. Ever since my oil change on my 2014 Ive been non stop in and out trying to get my car fixed. My car has had engine knocking, over heating, and a constant check engine light on since my oil change. Management LIED TO GM saying they did not cause the problems and has even down played and insulted my issues stating maybe its just a gas cap not on tight enough. We have complaints filled with GM trying to get this issue resolved. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS DEALERSHIP!

Called David Hallberg at JN Chevrolet on Thursday, Dec. 13 to see if he might have a car appropriate for my needs. We set an appointment to meet Friday afternoon. He showed me a 2011 Nissan Versa hatchback; had me test drive it. It seemed to fit my needs, but I said I needed to think on it for 24 hrs. before I made my decision.Called him the next day and met again with him to make my purchase. As I drive it, Im finding it is exactly what I wanted!!Needless to say, Ill certainly recommend him to my friends and relatives.The paper work was handled very efficiently by the finance dept. All my questions were answered, Im fully satisfied with the excellent service and attention I received.Thank you, David!

I just went to look at a new Mazda CX-5 and they had on the sticker a $3,995 dealer mark up. When asked the sales man said that its the cost to ship it to Hawaii. This is complete and utter B.S. It cost me to personally ship a car less than $1,000. Dealers play this card to unsuspecting and uneducated people. Businesses have deals to ship to the islands for cheaper than you or I could get. dont fall for this terrible trick. This was just the first lie I was told. I got so fed up I just walked away leaving the sales man standing there like a goon. By the time he realized what was going on he had to shout to try to get my attention. I do not recommend buying from these crooks.

So before I get down to the harsh part I just want to say I throughly enjoyed working with Jose Serna. Very professional, polite and works for every dollar he earns. Would highly recommend him to any one looking to buy a truck or car. That being said. JN is a sly dealership. If your not careful you will walk out paying way more than you should. Secondly from the 3 people who came in who were using their rental car service, none of them were happy with their rentals. Beware if you rent from them. Lastly their finance managers are very disgruntled. Not one of them seems to enjoy any part of their job.

This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. As someone who was back on R&R from my deployment they sure dont show the respect as they should. They will lie directly to your face and then say sorry when you call them out. Why deal with a dealership who will lie to you until you call them out. Why is it they only have one GM that is never there. I kept getting told I had to wait on the GM to get back from here or there because he was the only person who could make the decision. Everything they said was either an out right lie or a 1/2 truth. I will NEVER buy a car from this dealership and I am so glad I did not. I would love the car I was trying to buy but I will not give them the pleasure selling me the car.

Car buying is always a daunting process and I wasnt planning to purchase a car here on my first visit, but thanks to Luke Realina he changed my mind.I moved to Oahu recently and was looking for a preowned suv/crossover at a reasonable price. Luke Realina is the man, he was very personable and took the time to help me find the right car for my needs as well as share his knowledge and advice. If your new to the island (especially military) beware of J&N. They have there awards and certificates from military showing that they are military friendly when in reality they are only there to help themselves. Dont get me wrong they are nice as can be when you first meet them all the way until you sign the contract. After that they could careless. My wife and I bought a car there a week after we arrived on island. We ended up having to sell it 6 months later because it was falling apart. Thats after 2 Ford vehicles broke down on the TEST DRIVES!!! Point is the people are fakes and rude. Dont waste your hard earned money there.

This dealer sold us a vehicle without a title signed over to them back in July 2016. Its now April 7, 2017 and the dealer has given us the run around and has failed to produce the title or unwind the deal so that we can go to another dealership. What they did offer was to try not to put us in the hole (negative) if we traded the vehicle back into them but that what we trade for would only be a vehicle of their choosing. We should not be held responsible and have more debt added to us for their failures to produce. The most helpful person there was the receptionist but weve only heard from one manager twice in all this time and Ive yet to get a general manager on the line.Eight months weve been paying for a vehicle on time that cant even be registered because it still belongs to the previous owner. Weve been forced to file complaints with RICO and have had to push Wells Fargo dealer services to unwind the deal. While this may not happen to everybody be sure to expect this kind of crap if it does happen to you.

I was more than satisfied with my visit to JN Chevy. The timeliness of the repairs and just the overall service was phenomenal. In fact, prior to this visit, I initially took my Tahoe to Servco Chevy in Waipahu because I had a problem with the driver’s side mirror. Servco said it was the problem was the side view mirror’s motor and that they would charge $1100. I thought that was too much for a little problem. So I took my Tahoe to JN Chevy to get a second opinion and they actually told me that the motor was not the problem and that the repair would cost $750. The service was great as the receptionist (her name is Athena) was very helpful in continuously keeping me informed on the status of my vehicle. I definitely would recommend JN Chevy to anyone.

I recently purchased a 2014 Mazda 3 Hatchback from JN Mazda. I worked with Earl Highbarger, their internet sales manager. This was definitely the best experience Ive ever had in purchasing a car. All of the galling, annoying sales habits that Ive experienced with other sales people in the past did not exist in Earls repertoire. That may be due, in part, to the fact that he handles internet sales and not walk-ins on the lot, I dont know. What I do know is that if the sales people on the lot were allowed to adopt Earls style, it would go a long way to insuring a sale and buying customer loyalty!!With Earls low-key, talk story style, I knew in 10 minutes that I would be buying my Mazda from him. He talked to me like I was a thinking adult who had done my homework before showing up at his office. The first time I spoke with Earl on the phone he quoted me a price on the car, with the options I wanted, that fell very close to the True Market Value figure that Edmonds had noted on their website. When I arrived at his office he stuck by that quote and didnt try to squeeze more money from my wallet now that he had me in his domain. As a customer I truly appreciated the fact that Earl treated me with respect, like someone he hoped to establish a long-term business relationship with, not some short-term stooge that he would try to manipulate for every last penny.Prior to contacting JN Mazda I had stopped at another Mazda dealership on the island. My experience there left a very bad taste in my mouth. A refreshing component of JN Mazdas style (I presume its their style), was that Earl was the only sales person I dealt with!! I wasnt forced to sit in an office while a seniority list of sales supervisors paraded through trying to convince me to buy one of the cars off their lot because thay didnt have the exact car (color and extras) that I wanted. JN Mazda didnt have the exact car I wanted on their lot either but Earl had no problem ordering one for me when I requested it. Earl also didnt waste my time with condescending lines like Were taking a real loss on this car at the price were letting you have it for. The first dealership actually used this line, and their quote was $1,000 higher than what Earl quoted me on the phone!! Guess who wont be getting any of my business in the future?!I dont know that all sales people at JN Mazda treat their clients the way Earl Highbarger does because I only dealt with Earl. If they dont, then I can only suggest to JN management that they study Earls style and suggest their staff emulate it. Earl secured himself a loyal customer and Im not shy about telling family, friends and neighbors about my experience at JN Mazda!

I went to JN Chevrolet just to see if owning a new car was even possible on my very tight budget where I met Mad Man Dan who then introduced us to James Toyo Toyomura. If you are at all looking for a Mazda, Toyo is your man. He is very informative and can answer any questions at all regarding Mazdas, and any other car as well on the lot. Needless to say, I drove out with a leased Mazda3 and am loving it!I was very impressed with JN Chevrolet and the whole experience was great. My wife purchased a preowned vehicle and the overall sales process went ok. and although some things should kind of be expected when buying a used care, we immediately started seeing issues on the day we were supposed to pick up the car....1. the car would not start on the test drive.... the whole battery needed to be changed.2. issues with the door window. it would go down and not come back up, until several attempts.3. The safety inspection on the vehicle had expired.4. we had noticed bubbles in the door paneling and although we drew attention to it, was told that it was nothing big, just the plastic, even after we asked it it may be rust or water damage. and told it was ok.well shortly after purchasing it, we my wife noticed issues with the blinker not turning off. the bubbles were significant rusting, in which a chunk of rust fell off inside the door.Having taken the car in or some of these repairs which were included in an extended warranty we purchased, other issues such as the rust damage is not covered, which i guaranteed would have a been a big factor in the purchase of the vehicle. not only that, but the service department was poor in communicating delays. this was important as i dropped off the vehicle after dropping my daughter off at day care. they gave me a ride to work.... with the expectation that the work would be done by noon. One would think that if they give you a ride, they would understand the importance of communicating delays, when its your primary means of transportation. i called at 2pm to follow up and was told by the service technician, he would call me back in 5 minutes, a half hour went by and i called again. in which he stated he was working on it and needed to call me in 15 minutes. another hour went by and i called, and was handed around, till one techinician stated to come in to pick up the vehicle. i had a co worker drop me off and although not late to pick up my daughter i had to wait another 20 minutes to have them put the door panel back on, and told to call back to follow up on the door issue.. this cost me extra in day care and was a waste of time, especially when i called several times over the next couple days to follow up and kept being told to call back. after about a week i finally got clarification and told to schedule an appointment since they needed to order the part.overall i have lost time and money from work and extra pays in day care, and now have to pay for further repairs to the rust issue in the doors, since my 2yo daughter rides in the back and i dont want her potentially injesting any of the rust that has broken off, and may continue to break off till i get it repaired.

My experience at JN Mazda on Friday was great!!! Thomas K and Braven were wonderful! Very paitent and helpful salesmen, they went beyond to help me trade in my mazda3 for a mazda 3 speed. I would recommend seeing them when buying a car and will definetly go back to them for another car!

I have always been a Chevy truck fan! *ENTHUSIASTIC* My Dad always drove Chevys, so they have always brought about a fond memory of my Dad (who passed away 2 years ago). I recently decided it was time to become a member of the Chevy Family!I chose the JN Chevrolet Ohana and they were fantastic! My salesman David Hallberg really entertained my sense of humor! He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Best of he really made me feel like part of the JN Chevy Family (Ohana). They took in my trade, no problem, and got me in the truck of my dreams all at an affordable price! *ENTHUSIASTIC*I love my new truck, especially the wohwaaaaaaaa sound it makes when I step on the gas! I agree with the other bad reviews about their service department! We had an appt to get a truck fixed, went first thing in the morning and got there only to find out they couldnt do it. The worst of it was that the service guy was very rude... no customer service at all!
