Treat those how you would want to be treated. I will share my honest experience with Eyelab. The staff is very welcoming and kind. The office is clean, comfortable, and spacious. I was also taken back at my appointed time. The before testing was done by Optician Dawn. Very very well done, Dawn explained the all the equipment and what to expect. Technology has certainly advanced since my last exam but I felt at ease and I was not at all rushed. After the before testing was done I was taken into another exam room and further testing was done by Teledoc. After my exam was finished I chose a couple frames from their wide selection. My prescription and findings was explained to me and then we went over various lens options and what would best suit me. My glasses will take 7 to 10 business day to arrive so Dawn fixed up and cleaned my old glasses until my new glasses arrive. To say that I couldnt be happier is an understatement. Many many thanks and many blessings to you all.
My Eyelab in Oakwood plaza was recommended as one of the options by my insurance company. Prior to my appointment, I was contacted by phone to confirm the appointment and to find out if I had any questions prior to arrival. I also received an email confirmation containing all pertinent information. Upon arrival, we were cheerfully greeted and welcomed by all staff. Carolina, was the optical professional, who from the moment she began to check us in, the absolute professionalism was displayed. I showed Carolina a picture of the frames that I wanted and we proceeded with the exam. Once the exam was completed and the time came to choose frames. Carolina located the very last set of frames, identical to the picture! When it came to the most important portion of the process (options and payment), Carolina patiently and methodically went through all options for my glasses and provided detailed options in which to choose. By far, the very best optical experience I have ever had and highly recommend going in to see Carolina and the entire staff at My Eyelab located in Hollywood at Oakwood Plaza.

My experience on this EyeLab location was above and beyond. I understand that business is business but the two ladies in this location sure make you feel very confortable, they payed very close attention to details and excellent up to date equipment. The VR experience in their lab was very cool experience and it’s accuracy was as if someone was physically in front of meMOST IMPORTANT after all we been through economic wise their prizes are so affordable and Sooooo many different designs…… take your time. I should have read the reviews before going. Let me say this first, I work in healthcare and have worked in healthcare over 25 years. The reviews that state great customer service means nothing. Several places can have great customer service, and could be ripping you or a family member off. At this place they advertise 2 pair $59.99. I was NOT looking for that price because I know I can not see. What I needed cost more. My final price verbally was $300, then I said I would go somewhere else. Within 5 secs it became $200. Why wasnt I give $200 from the beginning. My issue is, if someone is elderly or do not totally understand, they will get them. Be straight forward and give patients the best price from the beginning. No negotiating we are talking about peoples health. This is a horrible thing in healthcare across the board. I was never asked do I have insurance or was I paying cash. I was offered to pay half now & later and CARE CREDIT... This is ridiculous. I paid my entire bill, will never return, and I will constantly tell others not go to any location.
Ive been wearing contact lenses in glasses since I was 12 and I have to say this place is the best I have ever been to buy far what a great experience the two women that were working today are just amazing this overall eye exam has been more than a pleasurable experience you should never go anywhere else just based on these two women, Ive been going to the eye center since I was a kid and I tried to get an appointment with them and their prices were just beyond outrageous I literally hit the motherload as far as an eye exam and ordered contact lenses for ten times cheaper than anywhere else that I could think of I recommend this place a hundred times over these two women should get a raise, a compliment, good praise recognition of Excellence thank you so much
I really dont try to do reviews, but heres mine my warning to anyone who might be thinking to come to this locations. RUN! you re better off going to Americas best, I went to the store TWICE to get copies of my prescription and the manager would hand me down their business card and have me call their 1800 number she was just too lazy to provide it for me. Over 45 minutes wait to get someone on the line and having to follow up a week later after sending my consent form because they never sent it!! I honestly never had an issue similar to this getting a prescription very bad for business. I will never come back again

Well, this is my very honest review. Never left a bad review for anyone in my life but I assume I have to now! The WORST place ever!!!! Do NOT go over there! HORRIBLE customer service! First they wrote a wrong brand on my prescription for my contacts and I couldn’t purchase anything due to that reason; when I tried calling for three days, always got transferred to someone else and nobody ever picked up the phone. Had to go to the location during my lunch time, the lady had the worst attitude ever!!!!! She said she will send it to me when the doctor comes and never did!!! My eyes hurt because it’s time to change my contacts and I have to deal with this unprofessional and inconsiderate people and spend another lunch time to go over there again and request my prescription!!!! Save your time money and nerves! Do NoT go there!!!!

Jonathan explained everything up front which I appreciated (I had a lot of questions). I chose to have a contact lenses exam. New experience for me since I only wear glasses. The exam was thorough and painless. I received my contacts and glasses in 8 days! Definitely returning, definitely recommending!
The Optician is very nice but I never waited over a month to get a pair of glasses back especially when they just needed to put in the lenses and I supplied the frames. They also never let me know when my glasses finally arrived, I had to keep calling.
The doctor that gave me my prescription Ivania Escoto License No. OPC5655 REFUSED to give me my pupillary measurement because I wouldn’t buy the glasses in store!! How ridiculous!! Never again will I ever return here!!!
I have been wearing glasses for 30 years and I always had a small problem reading comfortably. Reading is and has always been a passion of mine. So imagine my surprise when I recieved my bifocals and for the first time ever I could read comfortably. I always thought the issue was me, merely my inability to adjust properly. Dawn took the time to ask questions, fit, and adjust my glasses. She listened to me and was able to figure out what my previous optical could not. Now, I am not by any means discrediting the opticals that I have been to previously. Glasses are measured in very specific ways so Dawn understood my problem and fixed it. This is why I have been coming to Eyelab for the last couple years and will continue to do so.
This review goes to the company,I got my first glasses back in 2016, at that time, they had real doctors and assorted frames. In order to get new pairs and make a control on my eyes, I picked myeyelab again, what a mistake!1) they couldn’t find my medical history.2) you get a videocall with some “online” person who reads a prep paper in order to check your eyes.3) Awful frames, and I picked up this dirty (“not cared”) pair of new glasses.The staff is very kind and understanding.But hell no, I would not recommend this place at all.

My frame literally split into two the night before so I knew it was time for a new exam. My wife and I were walking through the plaza, saw this place and decided to go in. I was kindly greeted and asked if I was there for an eye exam but told the young lady I didnt have an appointment. She told me not to worry. I believe her name was Darla or Donna, either way, she had such positive energy and was a delight. The exam was a neat new experience for me since I never had a Teladoc visit before but I was thrilled and very pleased. My wife and I agreed it would be best to do the buy one get one promo much better frame selection and better lens options. I recommend them.
Chris refuse to give me a supervisor giving false information about prescriptions. claimed they were no managers at the store. Ive been going there for more than four years Ive never had the problem Ive had with this person who refused to give me his last name and just hung up. This is convince me to take my prescription and go to one of your competitors at the same location. Great way to lose a customer!
Worst place ever... paid $598 ordered my sons glasses on August 4th said it would be about 2weeks called numerous times no one ever answers, checked online to see if glasses were ready, always says in transit. Finally today Sept 8th spoke to corporate they said it was shipped out many weeks ago but the store never acknowledged they received it. They also tried contacting the store but no answer.. so I drove over 45 mins to the store. I stood in front of the Manager as she finished then turned around and walked away. Asked to speak with the manager they said i had to wait in line so I Waited over 25mins till my turn.. So the lady behind the desk looked and found my sons glasses and told me they arrived on Aug 8th. 4days after I ordered them and they have been sitting at that store for over 1 month no call no nothing. Now the manager stood less than 6 feet away and heard the whole conversation and looked at many time and never said anything... Now I have been coming to this store for many years with my wife and our 3 children and had some small problems in the past never like this and the disrespect, this will be the last time I come here.. I try to be a loyal customer but not to this place anymore... especially for the prices they charge...

Walked in for contacts. Lab was clean, lady was very friendly and efficient. Was in an out in 10 minutes and got some free trials to help me while I am waiting for my contacts to come in!

BEWARE Stay clear from this place! They change prices to whatever they feel like, wont cancel an order the same day it was placed (even though their website says they will), the manager is the absolute worst and most dodgy person to deal with. Oh and they never answer their phone, it keeps going to a customer service line who are of no help at all.

I am mother of four who is currently fighting cancer and had a bad day.. so I sent my 18 year old son to the appointment with his siblings without me. I choose eyelab for the promotion of BOGO. I was told a completely different price and that my kids wont qualify. I was further informed a higher price and only for one pair of glasses. I had to pay for examine. When I tried to ask questions about the promotion on their website I was quickly dismissed. Worst customer service ever

**UPDATE - Store responded but STILL NO REFUND** Avoid at all costs. Too many discrepancies and dishonesty. First I was told the eye test was $95 then after quoting their website the price magically dropped. Was going to spend $400 on frames they took $200 and now can’t cancel the order despite the free cancellation policy window. Store manager refuses to help and call center says that store manager is the only one that can refund.
The customer service is wonderful. I cant say enough about their willingness to take the time and find a way to make things right. When my dads had an issue with his new frames but they were past the warranty date by a week they found a way. Today I went to check if they would make a new lens to replace one too strong made through the VA so my dad didnt have to go way out west. The price was a bit high for my dad and he decided to take the time and go back to the VA. They took the time to find my dad a better price through a little creativity in the computer. Very happy.

Im súper disappointed with this company. They scam you with the big announcements saying that “ buy one Glass and get another one free plus the eye exam” . This is such a scam, at the end of the day you are actually paying for the eye exam. I ordered mine here and I was ready to walked out do to the poor customer service but they didn’t let me go, I had to pay for the test. At the end of the day I had to pay for my glasses too because since I was there .. why not. MIND YOU! I ordered my glasses on OCT 2ND and they told me it was going to be a week for my glasses to be ready ... ITS BEEN 3 WEEKS NOW AND NO CALL, NO EMAIL OR ANYTHING! Honestly super disappointed at this store and the company .

I just completed the process of selecting my 2 frames, from a wide variety of styles... and also taking a very comprehensive eye exam . I must say that I was impressed with the doctor and technician who performed the exam. Technology has certainly upgraded the examination process. Michelle, the Sales Manager, was as kind, courteous, and helpful as can be. Her assistance in guiding me through this experience was enjoyable and welcomed. My 2 pairs of eyeglasses should be ready approximately 2 weeks from this post. So far so good for my first time at My Eyelab.

This is the WORST place ever. ITS A gimmick to get you there then over charge and it will be over two weeks to get my glasses. Went for the promotion 2 for 1 with eye exam left paying for 1 pair of glasses 200 dollars later. I would never recommend this place. Think twice.
I called to make an appointment for my 9 year old and asked if they took her insurance and was told yes. Made the appointment, once I arrived the lady at the front asked if I had an appointment and asked what’s the insurance. Says it’s out network and basically I wasted my time. In the future they should be more proactive in helping the customer with these issues and not waste their time to just get you in there. Why would I pay them additional cost if I pay already an expensive insurance plan that covers vision. I’m disappointed in their service.

Not only that, the corporate support number DOESNT EVEN WORK.My line got disconnected every single time.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU THE ABSOLUTE RUN AROUND.I called my bank and charged back my purchase as of today. Thanks for nothing you scam artists.

Its been about a year with these cheap glasses and $900 later,some kind of clear finish that is just flaking right off make its blurry and hard to see,on top of that the plastic mount on the left side fell off and got lost.also the eye exams are not free like advertised on TV, is a scam to get you there,so I decided to call to see if they would help,but I was wrong they are no help whatsoever,are you serious! . To the owner,how dare you claim to be the best out there and practice this kind of things on your customers.well in my book you guys are crooked and your personal didnt offer any solutions other than to go back and have another eye exam and purchase another pair,well after this incident the chances are very slim that I would take another risk with you guys,and another thing is that your personal dont even speak the language correctly so its kind of hard to comprehend.lam calling out to the public to read my post before they even go to your store and be taken for a ride like a was.and please dont try and reach out to me with your sorry excuse I know better for next time.

I place an order on may /01/ 2020.First they lost my the glasses I selected and gave me 2 identical. That was an issue. I also placed an order for 2 sun glasses.My husband and I have called every 2 weeks since may to find out the status of my sunglasses, they said they would call and update us today is August5 2020, still no sun glasses. We asked for a refund since the the sun glasses alone cost me over $300.00. They flat out refused to give me a refund. And noel/joel whatever hes called, was the guy we spoke to and he refused to put a supervisor/manager on the phone. When asked when will the supervisor be in, noel/joel refused to tell us stating that he was not allowed to give out that information. Mind you Ive dealt with the north Miami location and they have always asked me to call back after letting me know when the person in charge will be in. They even make notes of it!This is the the last time Ill return to this location Ill stick to the one in North miami beach. But I decided to try this one since I was hoping they would have better glasses selection.. Im contacting corporate, we are at our last straw. I need my money back. After posting this review I received a sorry for your experience please give us a call in order to resolve the issue I did however once again the run around. They transfer me to their customer service department and had me on hold for 2 entire hours. I have screen shot to prove it. My husband has decided to take a driver to the store since all employees there are incompetent idiots.To be continued...
Purchase sunglasses for my wife. She uses them about 3 times per week so not very often. The leg snapped off within 6 months of purchasing it. I uploaded a picture. The quality is very poor. We took the glasses back and was informed that they only warrant the first 30 days and after that you would need to buy a new frame, albeit at 20% of the cost. I dont care what kind of coupon you got for this business, save your money and go somewhere else.Update: After spending 25 minutes on the phone with their customer service. This is after they sent me an email request that I call them. The conclusion was that they could not do anything and that we can either live with the broken pair of glasses or purchase new ones .

She helped me find the best looking glasses that suited me and showed quality service towards all my needs. Everyone was real friendly and treated me as a valued customer. So I had purchased a pair of eyeglasses from here which after testing hurt my eyes. I was able to return with the glasses and “margarita” was absolutely awesome!!!!She investigated everything about my order and was able to pinpoint an error made by the lab. She was so professional and thorough to finally figure out the problem. She reordered the correct glasses and sent me happily on my way with no added cost to me! I was trying to help a homeless man get glasses. I made an appointment with Eyelab late in the day, since I never know if I will find him. We arrived and were seen by Henry, he was so kind and reassuring during the exam.During the exam it was discovered he had cataracts and needed to see another Dr.An appointment was made, and the man did figure out how to get there by himself as I was at work. Marissa called my number and we discussed what he wanted. I explained he was easily confused and needed to have a further exam due to the cataracts. She assured me she would take care of him. George called me later in the day to say he had given the man a very good deal - which it really was. They were all so kind and never treated him like he was homeless only with total respect. I cannot say enough good things about all the people at this Eyelab.
Worst customer service ever; Except for a friendly afro american girl, they did first a wrong measure for a $599.00 glasses, then 3+ weeks to correct them and them more waitting time, in total they had me waiting for my correct glasses for almost 3 months.
Dont be fooled by the advertisement. You will not get 2 pairs of glasses for $59. For $59 there is only a selection of half a dozen ugly glasses. The eye exam cost $45 but it is included in the deal. I selected frames for $59 and they were buy 1 get 1. I expected to pay 59 + 59 ($118) for the eye exam and my upgrade to a nicer frame. When I went to pay they told me it was $276 and I did not understand how it got to be so high and they said that the deal does not include the lenses. Then when I came to pick up the glasses they asked for another $276 saying that I only paid the deposit. I said thats not what they told me when I got the glasses and I told them to cancel my order. I said that they advertise for 59 and make you pay over 500 and thats not cool. The person then changed his story and said that they waived the balance of 276. This place tries to rip you off. I will never go there again or recommend anyone. Also they wanted another $90 for a contact lens exam. They never told me that I would need to have a separate exam for contact lenses. All in all this place fails in complete disclosure and they are very deceitful. Very disappointed in my experience there and would not recommend.
Bought two pairs of glasses in April 2020 and picked them up in early May. I brought back one pair thirty minutes later because the prescription was wrong. I was told to come back two weeks later to pick up the glasses but they werent ready. Its now June and Ive been going there every two weeks and my glasses are still not ready. All Ive been getting is the run around. Dont waste your time going to this place. The service is terrible.
Very welcoming I was a little late and they still fit me in and it was quick. Marissa was helpful with selecting my lens and keeping me within my budget. Thank you guys 😁

Michelle and the staff were very nice, and helpful. No pressure and gave me a great deal. My first time getting glasses and my experience with them was excellent. I will be back!
If I could give them zero stars I would. If I could give them zero stars I would. Absolutely the worst experience ever. The manager Lynora Is unbelievably unprofessional and corporate allows it. I paid cash on January 23 for my contacts. Took a few weeks to decide what prescriptions suited be best. I was told I needed to pay more money. I spoke with Lenora on February 11th. And told her to place the order she informed me I needed to put down another $131. She gave me her cell phone number and told me to text her my credit card information. I text her back and told her I would be into the store... ?? I have never been asked to text my personal information to a stranger that is a manager in a store. I did not feel comfortable doing this. The next day I went in and I went and asked for a refund.!! They could not find my deposit. Jonathan in the store had finally found the money that was put in an order for a Contacts showing that I placed but never was dispensed?? Lenora Was telephoned by a coworker. She told them I spoke with her yesterday it is my day off I will deal with her tomorrow.??? Unacceptable. I gave my money to Eyelab not to Lenora. Not feeling comfortable.. I’ve had to call corporate. Of course I was in the store for another hour and a half. I was told corporate will call me back..They told me it takes 24 to 48 hours turnaround time to respond and get a conclusion in regards to a refund. After me calling back several times they finally called back February 14.and told me they were going to put the order in if I would like and I would not have to pay anything extra for the inconvenience. I said fine so we can be done with this it has been over a month. I had to wait for a call back that never came. I have called every day!!Called on Presidents’ Day I assumed they were closed no answer. The next day I corresponded with over 4 emails it was promised a call back!! still no call back??? I stated in the email I wanted either my contacts ordered or my refund by the end of day. Remind you were over a week now and still no one is authorized to give me my refund. I called them again after 5:00 PM was on the phone another hour and a half.The following day they told me it will take 30 days for them to send me a refund.Absolutely the worst experience unacceptable. And not to mention I could not even get a paper receipt when I gave them a $230 cash payment. So February 18 they will issue a refund that will take another 30 days until I receive it!!!! Would love for corporate to reach out to me. Because every time I asked to speak to a manager there was never one available??
Excellent service! My sites seem to have gotten better and I spoke to Michelle about it she recommended that I get a check up. I did take her advice and since I had gotten the glasses a year ago they replaced it for free. I highly recommend them
