I wish I could give them zero star. They want to rip off your pocket and get the money as much as possible in every single visit to their stores. Their price depends on their mood, but always is expensive. I bought from them a cover for my iphone and they told the price $20 more. When they see I’m reluctant to buy that they suddenly decrease the price $20. (Original price was $30 and they decreased it to $10…can you believe this?). Also the quality of the cover was not so good and you could buy a much better cover in Amazon for lower price. Don’t even think to try them and you shouldn’t trust them at all. Same case happened for my friend. They charged my friend $20 for changing the screen protector and couple of days after that charged my other friend $15 for changing the same screen protector. It’s worth to mention that pack of 3 of that screen protector is just $5 in Amazon. You could practice on first two to install protector by yourself and it is way more cheaper than their price.

AMAZING! Truly an incredible experience. The owner is very professional and knowledgeable. Came here at 2pm on a Sunday scared and anxious not knowing if my water damaged iPhone would ever live to see another day. Left at 3pm elated with happiness- my phone has never looked better. The owner walked me through the process. There were a few roadblocks but he remained calm and confident that a solution would be found. Never been more grateful for Hoboken Wireless!

After reading the reviews and speaking with Ray (I assume the owner) I dropped off my phone, went to the gym and after my workout it was done! I noticed he was really busy too!. Dropped my iPhone X face down, cracked the screen and was unable to use the phone completely. Hoboken wireless was very accommodating and able to fit me in before they closed for the day. Ray is honest, quick and reasonable. I had a Samasung S6 Edge+ that was not turning on except for the Samsung logo. Samsung Service Center declined to fix stating the model is discontinued, couple other shops had similar reactions without doing any diagnosis and said this has motherboard issue which can’t be fixed. So then I did some reasearch and ordered a battery on Amazon myself and took it to Ray who installed it in 15 mins. That’s it! Everything works now!Hoboken Wireless is awesome and reliable!!

Went in to replace the screen of my iphone XS max. walked in without an appointment and he started work right away. it was unbelievably fast (5-10 minutes) and the price is better than anywhere else.this is the second time i broke the screen, but the first repair was done by a different place in manhattan. it cost almost twice as much, i had to wait a couple of days for the next available appointment, and it took 2-3 hours to get my phone back.dont go anywhere else, hoboken wireless is great.

Brought my phone in for a new battery in about February 2019. Kept the original just as a backup. After a year of use the battery died. I returned to the store and had them put in my original battery. They gave me back the battery they claimed that they removed. This battery had black tape over the year of manufacture which when removed revealed a date of 2016. I think I was ripped off.

The screen was NEVER properly fixed, it was loose, and the voice quality was heavily degraded. Next thing you know I have battery problems. I go back to get it fixed and it was like he was expecting me....WHY?!He switches the batteries knowing thats its only a matter of time before you COME BACK and PAY MORE to Get it fixed.Dont fall for his scams. My cell phone had major issues that rendered It unusable. The power button stopped working, the touch screen became unresponsive and I also had a nonremovable battery in the phone. I needed to somehow charge the phone, power it on and remove my data from it.I went into Hoboken Wireless desperate for a way to remove valuable data I had on it. The gentleman working (his family runs this store) was very kind, knowledgeable and spent at least 2 hours working on this.I left my phone with him and he ended up giving me a loaner to borrow. The next day he called me saying he was able to fix my phone, screen and power button, long enough so I could get the data off of it.Such incredible customer service. This place is great and the owner, Ray, is wonderful. After my husbands iPhone fell in a big puddle and stopped working, Ray fixed it within minutes and at no cost. Previously, he had also helped us save a lot of money by switching our cell phone carrier. Every time weve been to Hoboken Wireless, weve found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable, and the service they provide by far beats the service we used to get from Verizon.

I called Ray at 7:30pm on a Tuesday just before closing. I needed my screen replaced on my week old galaxy note 9 that I broke. Ray told me to come over, located the necessary screen in one of his 17 locations, provided me with a loaner smart phone, and had mine ready for pickup next day around noon, with a brand new screen. The price was fair, but the service was by far above and beyond. This is likely not the norm in terms of turn around time for this repair, but exceeding expectations of the customer is clearly the norm with Ray.

Hoboken Wireless was the best place to get my iPhone screen repaired. It was shattered yesterday, and in less than 24 hours - it looks brand new. Quick, terrific service, and very reasonably priced. The owner even gave me access to his wifi during the repair, so I was able to get work done. I was in and out in 30 minutes, and I highly recommend to others!

I wouldnt go here to fix your phone. I went here and it was just terrible. It started off smooth and well. My phone was completely shattered, the screen was glitching and shaking showing random colors and lines were popping up on the screen. The owner Ray convince me to get a glass screen protector with fixing my phone. So I decided to do that. It looked good up front and was working fine. The next day cracks began to appear in on the screen protector and I didnt drop it. I was confused. After two or three days I had noticeable cracks on the screen saver and the sides of the screen saver. It began to fall apart and I was planning on taking it back to see what was wrong with it when I was using it and my phone screen turned green and shut off. So I am upset cause I just paid 90 to fix my phone for it to just crumble and fall apart like that. Then I went back into the store to ask about it. He said that if it hasnt been a mouth then they will still cover it and it has only been two weeks. Then Ray goes on to tell me that I have to pay 85 more dollars minimum for a repair. I had just paid 90 before and he was trying to get me to pay more. I could of went to apple to get it fixed for 99 with no glass screen protector and my phone would have been fine. I could have gone anywhere else and they probably would have done a better job. After the fact that I was upset because he ripped me off. He went on to laugh at me when I said it was ridiculous that I had to pay more. I dont recommend this place in any way. I talk to people around and there are places that are cheaper and do a better job than this place. So if this review stops anyone from going here it would all be worth it. I dont want anyway to experience what I had to go through. It shocks me because Ray is a religious guy and prays every day. How can you be a religious guy and be okay with ripping people off?

I walked in there yesterday 10 minutes before close, convinced that my Samsung Galaxy S3 had a broken power button. Ray told me to come by in the morning to pick up the repaired phone. When I arrived the next day, he informed me that I had diagnosed the problem wrong. And even though he replaced the button as I requested, there was a more serious electrical fault with the device. He told me not to worry about the cost of replacing the button, gave me some advice and options, and even though I walked out with a phone that was just as broken as when I brought it in, I was impressed by their professionalism and consideration. BEST SERVICE EVER!!!! I dropped off my daughters brand new Ipad Mini worried it would be astronomical to repair and Ray (the owner) assured me it would not be and honored his word! I had a great experience here! I had to repair my home button on my iphone. In and out in 5 minutes! Only $25 bucks when the apple store were telling me i needed to change my whole screen for $150. Terrible store! I went there to repair my iPhones screen. They replaced a renew screen which is malfunction one. This malfunction one got a bad area on screen when you display white color image. Really difficult to see when your screen shows dark image. Also this renew screen doesnt have the tiny metal grid gauze on headphone. So basically, the screen they replaced for me is a bad and old one, and I wasted one and half hour there. When I found out the defects, I go back to them, they told me they can change another Generic Screen for me. So I asked changing back to my old one and Ill repair it at Apple store, because they can not guarantee the quality of replacement part. BTW, 5 days after, I still dont have my refund as they promised.

Really, As good as it gets. We´ve used them twice now and we could not be happier with the service. It´s a family run business where people actually care and show appreciation for their customers. They fixed my wife´s screen twice (yep, she refuses to use a phone case). That´s how much she loves this service! The second time it happened the phone didn´t work well so we called them back to see what they could do about it. They told me to come by and they will fix it no problem. When we got there they asked me if I had the receipt, which of course I didn´t, and they told me not to worry. I ended up finding it later but he only used it to find the reference number. They would have fixed it anyway.It´s nice to know they are right here in Hoboken and that all my phone problems will be fixed by hones and professional people.I recommend it!

Super fast and convenient. Dropped my phone and got it replaced within the hour and the process took only 15-20 mins. Hoboken Wireless gyes was friendly and at the end of the installation he made sure all the buttons and camera were functioning.

This place is great! The guy who runs it is incredibly nice and helpful. He guarantees his work and stands up to that promise. the first replacement screen on my iphone had a minor flaw in the manufacturing that didnt show up until a day or so after it was replaced, and i brought it back and he made everything right. BUT the new phone turns itself off and on randomly.Ive tried to exchange the phone for one that works... I cant do reach anyone at Metro PCS on the phone, its always BUSY. I went to another store, the guy said, Ive re-programmed the phone and it works now. GUESS WHAT? It doesnt work now.Metro PCS and this store SUCK!

A Scamer went there to fix my Screen phone for $80.00 they did it, but took out my good battery for a old one, I went back 4 weeks later to buy one $70.00.As I was waiting in store another person came in for the same problem and was there before a weeks ago and was now buying a new battery.I, started to be suspicious, so I, call my friend that Recomended me here, and I, ask him if he purchase a battery for his cell after he fix it here, he said yes.So we got both got scam and otheres will be scam too so beware, this place they damage your cell phone so you come back for more business, just like croket Mechanic shops.He may lay low for now after he read this review from me.
