Lots of stuff you need but service department is less than good .

If I could give more stars I would. James has to be one of the most personable people I have ever worked with in a retail environment he takes time to listen to what you need and will take care of it with no bs. Based off my experience with him this place has all of my future lawn care business and more. Thank you again.

I have made many purchases, chainsaws, mowers etc. always received good service, owner is hard to find time to time, but he seems to be a decent fellow. i have had trouble with one of my mowers(bought there) an took it to them for service they repaired it under warranty an i picked up, they seem to have done a good repair, no problem since. most of the employees are out going an friendly. if anything it seems they have to many customers for the amount of workers there, sometimes it hard to get help. but if they have what you need buy it there, an you wont have any problems if its not right, theyll make it good.

So many things to see lots of great deals we will be back to do more shopping

I have been a business owner and have worked with the public for more than 30 + years, and I have never been treated as rude and nasty as I was by the service department of Mt. View Home And Garden. I asked to talk to the mechanic about my problem with one of my power equipment tools that I had purchased there, and was told that the mechanics do not talk to any customers. I have my own business and I advised the service Dept. Person that I had talked to the mechanic before and being a commercial customer I needed to explain what was wrong. I was told that I couldn’t talk to him, so I requested my Stihl equipment and it was thrown onto the counter. I stated that there are more Stihl dealers in the area to work on my equipment.The service person followed me to the front of the store and continued to badger me and go so far as to threaten me with taking her argument into the parking lot. The manager of the store just stood there and let her act totally unprofessional and irrational for about 5 minutes until he finally told her to go to her office, I finally explained that I was just trying to get my equipment fixed properly, and I have been buying products from this store for more than 35 years but I would not be back . My advise is do not go to this business for anything until they remove”fire” this employee.

Weve shopped here many times as a family. My Dad,myself and my brother. The staff is very knowledgeable and most of them go out of their way to see that you are satisfied. I purchased some lettuce seeds a few months ago. The younger ppl that helped me with this, did not put what types of lettuce it was. I had to go back for something else I asked if I could just look at the seeds and figure it out. The cashier was very accommodating. But she first made a point to show the others their mistake and told them it was not acceptable to do this.she remained friendly to me and the workers. The older gentleman that works there is very knowledgeable on most products in his store. And very knowledgeable about planting,plants, insecticides.n Id give them more than 5 stars if it were possible. Great place to shop local and is locally-owned.

I purchased a Huster lawnmower from Mt. View Home and Garden. Great price and service from all employees that worked there. Only having it a week we had some problems. James one the service technicians came to the house and fixed the problems it is running great.Thanks to All.

Im a new lover of this place looked everywhere for someone to cut my Suzuki gsxr key Walmart lowes ace hardware etc all said they couldnt do it but thankfully ace hardware referred me here 10 min before close and they were kind welcoming and cut a perfect key for me after a long long search

I love this place. It is one of the old school hardware stores that have everything you need.

Pathetic, paid over $14,000 for top line Hustler zero turn on Tuesday, supposed to deliver Wednesday, no call, no delivery, never could reach owner until today after being put on hold for thirty minutes, then still no definite delivery date.
