The sales department is eager and helpful when your trying to figure out which brand of appliance might be best for you and which one gives you the best bang for your buck. On the other hand their repair service is lacking. Trying to get through to this department is like pulling teeth. And good luck if you leave a voicemail message. Don’t expect a return phone call or response of any kind. It’s been a month since I booked an appointment, left a message to confirm the time of service and have had no response. I am a patient person but this is ridiculous.

The staff is very sweet. Been waiting two months for a replacement ICE MAKER in my GE monogram freezer. No communication from them. Two weeks ago, it was shipped. Now they dont know who said that and it hasnt shipped. I asked to confirm it was actually ordered and the manufacturer had the order and got the same old may take months answer. No urgency to see where it is. Very frustrating.Update: I got a call shortly after posting this review. It did ship, but never arrived, you were correct. It was being reordered. Now days later I have heard nothing. Tom, who left the reply has not returned my phone call to him.Update: Ice maker still not fixed. Wife called service 2 or 3 days ago. They would research and get back to us .. not yet... Still no return call from Tom.

We got all our appliances for our new house here. They installed them too. My wife wanted another oven rack so ordered it from them too. All the people that we talked to there have been very nice.

What a showroom. Not just appliances. But the whole kitchen in a dozen kitchen settings. Cabinet colors, countertops, a great way to see your future kitchen, and Madison was better on prices than the big 3 box stores were even w my military discount !!

Saw a refrigerator and stove on their website that we were interested in, so I sent an inquiry through their website. Waited a few days, never got a reply. So my husband and I went in. The lady who helped us was very nice and knowledgeable, the two stars are for that alone. We tell her about the Samsung fridge we saw online. She LAUGHS and says, Yeah, we dont have anything Samsung in the store. Then WHY is it on the website?!? The stove we wanted to look at wasnt there wither, big surprise. They had similar ones, all priced $200-$400 more than the one online.We asked about delivery & was told that it could take up to two weeks, even if we bought something in stock. No thank you.I wont bother checking here again if I need an appliance. If they dont have the stock, they shouldnt be advertising it!

Our washing machine recently broke and we needed to find a replacement and after shopping around we went with Sunrise. They delivered our new washer in just a couple of days and took the old one away as per our request. They were very courteous and professional through the entire process plus they told us that they will service our new washer if anything was to go wrong.

Terrible customer service experience. Ordered a high-end range and was given a delivery date of 6 weeks out. I called the day before to confirm and was told it had not arrived. Salesperson was completely unhelpful and actually hung up on me. I really thought going with a local, non-chain outlet would be the way to go, but clearly that was wrong.

Tyler Greene was my service technician and I have never had the type of service. He was KIND and efficient and made sure that my dishwasher was running before he left. Chuck was great and put together a great package without trying to upsell me...really explained the options and pros and cons very well. I got a great deal on a fridge that was dented on the side but brand new and the delivery guys (both sets as they had to deliver the stove in a second delivery when it came in) were incredibly professional and actually early both times, which was great. Quality salesmanship and customer service from start to finish. I highly recommend Sunrise Appliance.

I had an excellent experience with Sunshine appliance.The sales people were easy to work with and we were in and out quickly.We bought a washer and it was delivered exactly when they said it would be. I had Tyler and Daniel as my service guys. They went out of their way to make sure the job was done right. They even repaired something that Lowe’s had messed up that they didn’t have to!!The installed our new washer and hauled off the old one as well!Highly recommend and will buy all my appliances from this business from now on!

Theyre great when your spending $$$, but when it comes to the parts department good luck! In the past, several of my calls went unanswered (does she even play back her VMs?!), and what do you know it just happened again. I will never give a good review for that kind of treatment nor will I ever purchase anything there again! Youre lucky I gave you 1 star...so unprofessional!

My mom needed a refrigerator immediately and they were able to help her out. In stocks items and they were able to help her out on a lower price than BestBuy and Home Depot.

Our builder recommended Sunrise, and we worked with directly with Madison (shes great!). She was quick to put together appliance packages and give us different pricing options. She also quickly answered questions about product features and details. And, their prices were competitive to (in some cases better than) the big box stores!

Good place to buy appliances. They had most everything in stock we looked at. We ended up getting a dish washer and everything went smoothly. We even got the black friday price on 11/8. Definitely going back if we need something.

Incredible customer service!!! My wife and I were in desperate need of a washing machine due to ours failing! I called Sunrise on Monday and they had two models we were interested in and one they could get in a week. Our new washing machine was delivered on Wednesday. The men who delivered it were friendly and went out of their way to make sure they didnt accidentally hit our walls or damage our floors. They installed it and tested it to make sure it worked. Unfortunately it didnt despite them spending 45+ minutes trying to figure out the problem. Since that brand didnt work (brand new) we decided to go with a different model that they had to order. Since we had been without a washing machine for a while, they decided to loan us another model we were considering. We liked that one so well we decided to keep it! Unbelievably impressed by the selection, prices, and customer service of Sunrise Appliances! I highly recommend them for your appliance needs!!!

WOW!...WOW!...WOW! Service After the Sale how incredibly refreshing! First, let me talk about Chuck in sales at Sunrise, he knows his products...all of them down to the last detail. I went in armed with a boat load of material having done a ton of homework myself of makes, models descriptions of 3 major appliances that we needed to purchase. Chuck took time with me, I had done my homework at the big box stores and I had price shopped, but I really wanted solid service AFTER the transaction. The delivery/installation men were top notch, they took tremendous care of my hard wood floors, cleaned up every bit of mess and trash, but MORE than anything else these delivery men KNEW about the product they were setting up. They gave me some great tips for both use and care. Every BIT as Competitive as ANY BIG BOX STORE and SERVICE BEAT BY A MILE by GOING THE EXTRA MILE!! My first venture out a Caramel Apple Cake with an sauteed apple glaze drizzle from scratch on my Convection oven by Samsung, Refrigerator by Samsung & Bosch Dishwasher all purchased from Chuck at Sunrise!

Greeted by a friendly sales staff. We had just left one of the bigger home improvement stores in search of a washer. We left because a tremendous back order on washing machines. Their sales person sent us to Sunrise! And wow they had plenty!! My machine arrives Monday! Our sales person was great, she was knowledgeable and it took know time to get our order expedited. Chuck was an amazing salesman. He helped us totally over the phone so we didn’t have to come out. Was very knowledgeable about the dishwasher we were interested in. We placed the order and it arrived when Chuck said that it would.Their delivery team went over and above board. The fitting to the sink did not work so they went to the hardware store so we didn’t have to get out. They didn’t have one there so they are going to go to Lowe’s and Home Depot to find one. Excellent place to buy appliances! The staff here are friendly and are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. The sales people are not pushy at all. They will help you find what you are looking for based on what you tell them. They delivered straight to my house, installed my washer with efficiency and were quiet. The installers were very friendly and courteous. They even offered to take my old washer away (even though I took it to the landfill on my own). They put my dryer back in place, and put a new vent pipe at no charge! This company is by far better than the big box stores and its more affordable to buy new here than one of these refurbished appliance places. Im a customer for life!

We have used Sunrise Appliance on multiple occasions for our appliance needs and every time we have been so pleased from start to finish. The owners were so personable and took time with us. When we called they were so friendly. We have had them deliver to two different homes and both times we had impeccable customer service. They were respectful and took great care of us. The store is always pristine and we had excellent experiences with them.

I recently purchased a new kitchen at Sunrise. Even though it was not one of the wonderful high end kitchens, that we all dream of, I was treated to the very best attention from my sales person Chuck. On the day of delivery there was an issue with the installation and the dishwasher itself. The quick and over the top response from Charlynn was beyond anything I could have expected! We all know things go wrong from time to time. It is how we respond that defines us. Tyler and Jerry came and did a difficult job of installing a Speed Queen stacked washer/dryer into a concealing closet. It was very tricky and difficult to get such a large one-piece unit into that space. They worked hard and quickly to solve such a problem. They could not have worked better or been more pleasant. On 11/12/2019..I had purchased a new gas stove top burner and a gas wall oven from Sunrise Appliance..The sales person I dealt with (Christin) was a wonderful, kind and professional person! The two men (CJ and Dylan) that came to install the appliances were unbelievable professional, nice and a pleasure to have in my home! They were efficent, cleaned everything up when they were finished! I cant say enough about the great experience I had with this company and the installers!! Thank you !! Upon buying an old family home, we gutted the kitchen entirely and wanted new cabinets, new appliances, countertops, flooring, etc... We had no idea where to start! We knew the style of kitchen we like and that we wanted the kitchen to be functional as well as inviting. We wanted a space we could gather with friends and family. Price was very high on newRed tags were Missing parts and or looked VERY used.I told my wife that, In private..with no one else in the store, an employee barks at me and says prices are good, and tells me about a 1 year warranty. I didnt respond. But then I heard/ watching as she told another employee how she straightened me out!They were still laughing as we hit the door.

We have purchased a few appliances over the years. We are most impressed with the service we receive. Since they match prices, there is no need to shop around. I have been using Sunrise for several years. Their quality and service use to be the best however, both service and customer satisfaction is apparently no longer as important as it use to be. After thousands of dollars spent and the run around on the products bought from them, I am done.Very unsatisfied old customer.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had besides a kidney stone! Will never even drive by this place again! Terrible sales, flat out lie about delivery times. Ordered in January still no appliances in July. Had to push final inspection, and eventually by cheap appliances to pass inspection and move in. Also Lowe’s quoted 10% cheaper but went with them due to builder and having items on time....lie lie lie! Then blamed me for not calling to follow up???? Shouldn’t you call me? No one in business for over a week who could cancel my order! Terribly ran business no clue how they make it with disrespectful staff. I would do anything for my clients not try to argue with them! Just bad business all around!!!! July 26 2019 to response below, no manufacturer takes 6 months for a back order on a microwave! Went to Lowe’s only after sunrise and yes 10% cheaper and microwave delivered from them in two weeks. You say no one lied....but you’re lying in your response to save face for a poorly ran business! Absolutely rude staff that told me personally I should have followed up! Didn’t deal directly with builder because I funded the build, this was told to me directly! Why should anyone have to get a loaner microwave to pass inspection when they ordered one 6 months ago? Poor excuses once again! I was refunded for microwave.....but only after several calls and wanting to cancel whole order worth thousands of dollars. I run a business and know how to treat a customer, you however do not! I’m sure you will make up more excuses instead of fixing the problem which is exactly what bad business does. Admitting faults and working to improve moving forward should be your goal! We are starting a 100 acre development and had planned on using sunrise to furnish every house......not anymore! All I can do is laugh at response below, It’s not my problem to fix, but I would take advice from customers to make my business better not put blame on them! Lowe’s will price match anyone as well as give 5-10% discount ask for Rocky at Belmont location, he knows how to run a business! I bought a washing machine from Sunrise during a scratch and dent sale. The washing machine I picked out did not have a scratch or a dent. They also had several of the same model of washing machines on the floor at the same price (no flaws). When mine arrived it had a dent. I went to the store to get it rectified. I spoke to the sales rep (who I bought it from) and the delivery guy. The delivery guy said well it was a scratch and dent sale. I explained to him that would be Bait and Switch. You cant offer a product with no flaws and then deliver a flawed product. The sale rep said the manager was not there and she would have him call me. No phone call received and I have left 2 voice messages, because the manager was with a customer.

We recently bought a new refridgerator and double oven from Sunrise Appliance on Hwy 70. The prices were comparable to the other two big appliance places in Hickory except that they have their own delivery and installation team who are very efficient and well-trained. One of the other stores kept dragging things out and the other does not even install (What?). If you live near Hickory, Sunrise Appliance got my vote and my business! I highly recommend them!I am a happy customer! Chuck was especially nice to work with!

Recently purchased appliances for the first time from Sunrise and had the store do the install. Every aspect about the experience was positive. In the past, we have always used the big box stores but will definitely return to Sunrise in the future.

Our salesman, Chuck, was fantastic! He went the extra extra mile for us and helped us receive the Miele rebates on our appliances. We thought that was amazing...but wait...their service is fantastic as well. CJ and Jerry were unbelievably knowledgeable, polite and friendly. So accommodating, they picked up our appliances from our storage unit and delivered and installed them in our new home. When we need to purchase appliances for our basement, hands down, we will go back to Sunrise and their wonderful staff. Thanks to all of you!!!!!

Listed as a provider for a Bosch power cord recall we asked them to replace a hose and was told it was a $13 part. The total charge ended up being $93.55 for the repair/hose and card without permission. When I called and asked about the charge I was told Bosch doesnt pay us enough and we cant go out there for free. I was happy to pay the fee for replacing the hose, I think $80 to replace a plastic drain hose while you are ALREADY at the location, with the dishwasher pulled out replacing the cord next to it is a bit much.

My one year old washer quit on July 17. I couldnt get a repairman to come out for five days. I went online and found AWAD who came out the next day and unlocked washer so I could get wet laundry out before it rottted. For over a month Sunrise sent out a repairman and each time I was assured washer was fii. U finally tin touch with Whirlpool who sent out a repairman. Guess what he was from AWAD and he fixed washer. U will never shop at Sunrise Appliance again. Horrible experience i

Exceptional Service & Amazing prices!!!! I cant say enough about the process of purchasing my complete kitchen through Sunrise Appliance. Thanks to the Sales Associate Chuck for such a seamless process. From the start I was not even sure what I could do . He set up an appt for their in-house designer Terra to come out and meet with me. She took pictures, measured for my counter tops and brought the Sunrise Installation manager with her to make sure all the appliances could be properly installed and vented. Very impressive. I received my quote within 48 hours for the new quartz and the appliance package . They called me and kept me in the loop when the fabricators would arrive to install my countertops. Once the Gorgeous quartz was installed the Sunrise Install Team arrived and installed all of my appliances in a timely manner. I was so impressed how they unpacked everything and had all my stainless appliances shining before they left. I called in to the store manager to give them kudos for that because it is not something you see anymore. After being in my kitchen a few weeks I decided that adding some new lighting would complete my kitchen. I called the designer Terra. She found me the perfect pieces and my electrician installed them yesterday. I wanted to write this review because I know sometimes in our busy lives we dont stop and say thank you or write good reviews. Thanks again Sunrise Team!! You all are AWESOME!!! If you have never been to their showroom it is worth the trip! It will WOW you ... I cant believe Hickory has something like this .

Shady, underhanded and irresponsible! NEVER let these ppl in your home. Their neglect, combined with their clearly untrained installation team caused over $35K in damages to our home! Owners NEVER returned a single phone call. Salesman cursed at me, on the showroom floor, with my child standing next to me. They did offer to refund the $140 install fee - that refund has yet to arrive! I have heard many similar stories and their low “3.9 rating” certainly backs this up.Please do yourself a favor and RUN, don’t just walk, to any other store.

I have dealt with Sunrise off and on for the past 15 years or so and always come back. I find them to ALWAYS be friendly, and within dollars of the big-box stores, if not cheaper, when you throw in delivery and installation. They have sent repairmen out to help with icemakers and dryers, and the fellow are always competent, clean, and courteous. This store is everything you are looking for... Shop the big boxes first, come to Sunrise last. You will be glad you did. (No, I dont know the owners, any employees, and am not an internet shill, just a satisfied customer).

SAME PERSON CAME BACK TO INSTALL IT, EVEN THOUGH IT GAVE HIM SOME PROBLEMS, HOWEVER HE FINALLY GOT IT INSTALLED. AND LEFT. WHEN I CAME HOME THAT NIGHT, NO ICE, AND NOW, NO WATER, WAITED ANOTHER FEW DAYS ANOTHER PERSON CAME OUT AND TRIED TO GET IT FIXED, FOUND A SMALL PIECE OF ICE LODGED SOMEHWERE IN THE UPPER LINE, STEAMED THE WHOLD UPPER SECTION OF HOSES TO THAW THE LINES AND ACTUALLLY BLEW THROUGH THEM AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER; CAME HOME AGAIN, STILL NO ICE. BY TEXT I WAS ADVISED TO WARM UP T HE FRIDG. ABOUT TWO DEGREES, NO HELP, NO ICE, I BUY ICE FROM THE ICE BOX POUR INTO THE HOPPER FOR ICE.CALLED SUNRISE ASKING FOR HELP, WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL WEDNESDAY TO BE RESCHEDULED, I BECAME CROSS, AND SAID, LOOK YOU BEEN OUT HERE THREE TIMES ALREADY TO DO ONE JOB, I NEED SOMEONE HERE TODAY OR I WILL BELLY ACHE ON SOCIAL MEDIA. My mom bought a hotpoint washer from this establishment. my mom opted for a one time free delivery (there is a normal charge of $59 for regular delivery) had to wait 7 days to get the free delivery.. we now know why it was free.. the time was set up for delivery between 1-3 pm.. sunrise delivery fellow showed up by himself at 505pm.... with the excuse, well when you start out behind you stay behind all day. we received no calls from delivery fellow or sunrise to inform us that he was running late without us first calling at 430pm to sunrise to ask what happen... really 2 hrs late an NO call?? we opted to hook up the machine, it came boxed, not opened. (sunrise charges $100 an hour for hookup) ..when unboxed, i found their was no drain hose for washing machine..really??? who sales washing machines WITHOUT a drain hose...??? its like buying a watch with no hands! pretty much useless.. sunrise does not include the drain hose..we called the manufacture who told us it takes a special hose for the washer.. a regular hose will not work.. we were informed its up to seller to provide or not provide(order) what comes with washer from factory... we have found this place to be cheap, untimely an NO HELP after the sale.. we had to get a hose from hotpoint customer service a part number wh41x25974 which means my mom will not be able to use washer for another 5 days after the 3 days we spent looking for the drain hose locally..so if you want a washer without a drain hose.. this is your place.. we will NOT buy from them again... we suggest you dont either..unless you like disappointment in customer service..as you can tell from Toms reply... he is BIG on excuses an lacking in customer service skills..call him??? why doesnt he call if hes concerned..??

The employees were all very nice but found much cheaper prices on refrigerator at lowes. They had a french door whirlpool for 1699 on sale at sunrise looked on my lowes app and found same fridge there for 995 dollars on sale at lowes. Save you some money and search around

These people charged $139 for trip and diagnostic. Promised estimate for repair the next day or two. I called in 2 weeks since I hadnt heard from them. They advised that the diagnostic was not complete and it would cost a minimum of an extra $200 to complete the diagnostic and then it looked like $500 to $900 to repair. The problem is the water dispenser in the door is leaking water. I wouldnt recommend this business for appliance repair work.

Scratch and dent yeah. No cheaper than any other outlet. I checked specifically for a scratch and dent dishwasher. Their selection was very limited and on hand stock was pricey. Wont shop again.

Terri in parts and service is #1!!! She got a part for us that nobody else around here could get and it was here the next day! She is fabulous to work with and super nice!
