Im 51. I remember Winchells. Do you? They had that certain taste that no one has been able to duplicate. Friendly Donut House has pretty much nailed it! Wow!The few Winchells that are still out there are not the originals. Winchells donuts sold their company but kept their donut recipe.Friendly Donut House does it the old school way and they taste just Line Winchells donuts. Dont come here looking for that new fancy, oversized, overthought type of donut. Come here for what donuts are supposed to be.

This is a great old school donut shop. These donuts were perfect. Fluffy, the right amount of filling and super fresh. Cash only business. Just under $13 for a dozen. Well worth it. Such a great place to bring donuts to the family. The variety is enormous and the staff or owner whichever they are, are super nice. I get my kids donuts every Sunday as “Donut Sunday” before church and after I came here to bring them home for the first time, I’ve never been anywhere else. Give them a try.

Hubby and I had spent the morning at the gym and then let our cheat day begin. It was Mothers Day and wed already had loaded nachos for lunch. Then it was time for something sweet - donuts! This place is a little down the road from home and wed never been. Im so glad we finally went because it was awesome!!By the time we got there around 2p, they were already sold out of almost everything and only had about five different types of donuts left. According to the guy behind the counter, most everything was gone by 8a. I have to say I was pretty disappointed by the lack of options. We went with two sour cream bars, one with maple and one with butter icings, one cinnamon sugar and one white icing with rainbow sprinkles.Thank goodness, ALL of these ended up being absolutely awesome. The yeast donuts were little and so delightfully flavorful and sweet! But I think the other two were our favorites - hubby liked the butter and I liked the maple.We cant wait to go back early one morning and try more!!

Great donuts at great pricing, be aware that if you buy individual or a couple of donuts it is much cheaper to buy the half a dozen or the dozen of donuts. Their apple fritters are probably the best in Henderson. The cinnamon rolls are also super delicious, very light and airy but with a really good taste none of the donuts ever taste greasy. They only accept cash and many of the good donuts can sell out so go early for best selection.

One of thee best family donut shops in Henderson. I have been coming here for years and they have always been consistently delicious. The donuts are fluffy, delicious and they melt in your mouth. Large variety of all sorts of donuts. Ive never had a problem with being here and the customer service is always great.People who complain out the area obviously dont know that the shopping center has been around for a very very long time. You cant beat a dozen donuts for $9.75.

I went in the afternoon and not only was the lady very unfriendly, the donuts were old and crusty! They were almost ten dollars for a half dozen! Nothing fancy, not even fresh! What an absolute disappointment. Save your money for Pinkbox. Although this place is around the corner it’s worth it to drive out of the way to go somewhere else.

I am not one to leave reviews, but these donuts are sooo good!!!! Went in an hr before closing time and still got fresh and delicious donuts. Made me good fresh coffee as well. Got glazed, twist, cream filled, and raspberry filled. All good, fresh, light and fluffy!!! Very friendly service too. Will be going everytime I come to visit from California.

I dont live in Henderson, so I had to Google Donut shop near me Friendly Donut House was my choice out of 5 that popped up on Google. I am soo happy to have picked this one. I will definitely be back. From the friendly service at the counter, to the Dee-licious Donuts they definitely got ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from ME!!😊

The best mom and pop donuts in Henderson! I always pop in here if I want to bring donuts into the office, and every single time someone demands to know where I got them. The donuts are fresh, the glaze is crisp yet it dissolves in your mouth the minute you sink your teeth in. I grew up in the LA area and these donuts are the kind I miss from my childhood. I always get the blueberry, original glaze yeast and buttermilk bar with glaze. Yum yum yum!Cash only! Also the prices are very Friendly!

They are tasty to be sure, but we were disappointed as to how they compared to Friendly House, which had more flavor and depth to their taste. As well, and though it is not recommended to eat day-old doughnuts, the Pinkbox leftovers has an after-taste of oil that had gone off. Friendly House held their moisture and flavor much more evenly. Sure, if you like fancy design, then go for Pinkbox. But if youre going for taste, go for Friendly House (which is also much cheaper).Update (April 12, 2021): Another round of buttermilk, glaze, and jelly-filled . . . fantastic -- crisp and light. Amazing work!

Arrived with two customers ahead of me. Found out Cash Only means exactly that. Turned around to go get more cash and there were 20 people in line behind us. After returning, a customer in line behind me stated the donuts were very, very good. Got home, put 2 donuts aside and witnessed the remainin devoured with not a crumb left. OMG

Was very skeptical, drive out finally and wow, mind blown. Awesome donuts, big selection. The make them all day and night so always fresh. Just wow.

Given up on trying this place, so review isnt merited on merchandise. A few times they have had an extended close for vacations (which I can understand l) but they failed to update their hours through Google (takes a whole five minutes). Then they refuse to accept anything but cash. Ive set aside cash but husband forgets I do it for this one store. Dont waste your gas if you dont have cash. Shame because I prefer small businesses.

Dear Friendly Donuts, I love your donuts. They are always fresh. Sometimes I buy two boxes thinking it was too many, but they disappear fast. We love the apple fritters, the crullers and the buttermilk bars. Recently, weve discovered the fresh, glazed donuts. They are simple, but perfectly executed... heaven. I would love to see donuts decorated for the UNLV Rebels and the Vegas Golden Knights. When you do this, Ill probably have to do 4 dozen. We bring them to football tailgates in hopes to use them as Victory Donuts. For UNLV Football, theyve mainly been Consolation Donuts but we hope this changes with the new Head Coach Marcus Arroyo and the move to Allegiant Stadium. (If you could create a UNR Sucks donut, that would be even better.) Thanks, Lawrence.
