The food was decent but the place looks like it needs a good cleaning. Our waitress was fine, not very friendly. They have a sign out front saying now hiring so I assume they are short staffed hence the lack of happiness from the staff. The pizza was just OK, the dessert pizzas were really good. If you are looking for quantity this place is good, if your looking for quality and friendly staff go elsewhere Overall not that impressed and most likely wont be back.

Our experience was great! Though they did not open until 2:30 p.m., it was understood why they opened at that time. The staff did a great job and Heather Hicks is awesome!!! We will definitely be back!

Waitress very nice but that is the only positive I have for this place.Facility is nasty. Walls in booth areas havent been wiped down in apparently a very long time, every booth ripped up, ceiling is gross, the bathroom is unclean, parking lot looks a trash can: dirty diapers and other trash discarded in front of door way. Food on buffet cold and some were even burnt and coldSalad bar, lettuce had even started to dry out. On pasta side there was some type of mystery soup or something completely unrecognizable.When paying you could see the amount of grime on pizza oven that hasnt been cleaned in who knows how long.

So happy this place is back open. Pizza was great. I don’t understand why some reviewers are complaining. We are all in the same pandemic and we watched one group waste pizza and run that new waitress ragged. They had no conception that she had others to wait on. So we understood and waited for our pizza requests. Every one was great and the next reviewer should take the pandemic into consideration. If you want perfect service Mr and Mrs High and Mighty STAY AT HOME!!!!

There were people at the buffet with no masks, no gloves, coughing and sneezing. Quite frankly I lost my appetite and I dont think Im EVER going here again!! Its sad too, its been one of the only good places to eat in Henderson for awhile now. Not anymore. I told management and they asked who it was and then did nothing

There were a couple of times that the pizza line was out of pizza. But it was a busy night, and it was replaced very quickly.And for those of us that cannot do cheese, I ordered a custom pizza and they delivered it to my table!And the salad is good, and the spaghetti sauce is amazing!

Stopped by here on the way to Virginia. While the buffet is small (and do mean small) the restaurant itself was a good change of scenery from what we have in Raleigh. I got the impression that the place hasnt had a makeover since it was first built (late 1970s - early 80s?) very dim lighting above tables as well. Was cool that the outside and inside looked like a train station as well. Staff was friendly and food was decent. Would recommend if your passing through and I would stop by again.

We have loved Pizza Inn Buffet in Henderson, NC for many years. We went there today and I am not sure what is going on, but it has really gone down hill since the last time we were there. The manager that has been there for years, was not there and it is evident that he is the one that holds it together. The staff in the kitchen was loud and playing around. Very disrespectful for the ones eating in the restaurant. There was hardly anything on the buffet The lettuce for the salad was brown and our waiter told us that is all they had. I ordered a special pizza to be brought to the table, and it was good, but I paid buffet price for a small pizza and I did not eat the lettuce for the salad, Cucumbers were out and had to ask for them. There was only 1 other table in there when we arrice (and we were the only table when we left), so not sure what the folks in the back were doing. Our waiter was trying to do everything out front, including getting me cucumbers. There was something else out on the salad bar, but I didnt eat that, so I didnt ask for it. We paid about $90 for 6 people and a take out. Not worth it and not sure that I will be going back anytime soon.

This was my second time coming here and just like the first time they did not disappoint! Our server was amazing and on point! The manager was polite and made sure we got exactly what we wanted on the buffet. The kitchen staff came out to take our pizza wants for the buffet bar and executed it perfectly!! Pizza Inn now has a forever customer in me!!!

Kids and I love this pizza inn. Always good food and service. I made a reservation for this night for my daughters 13th birthday. The main pizza she asked for was burnt. We were told they couldnt make any more due to being out of strawberries. So a little disappointed this time.

Opening hours says noon at the restaurant front door. But actually its open at 4:00 p.m.

The food was good. I had the spaghetti and meat sauce. Was very crowded. Staff was very nice and hospitable. I could see the kitchen and although the food was good the kitchen did not appear to be as clean as I would have liked. The buffet area was very small and the layout of the restaurant didnt help with the place being so crowded.

Visited this location on the way home from Gaston lake. Ordered three chocolate chip pizzas. Got 3 pizzas however they were not chocolate chip. It was almost like a chocolate pudding pizza. Called Pizza Inn because I thought they gave me 3 raw pizzas but turns out that’s how they make their chocolate chip pizzas at this location. Just be warned their chocolate chip pizza is not the same as what pizza Inn is known for. What I got was garbage- Tasted like chocolate pudding with bread. We ended up throwing all 3 pizzas away. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR CHOCOLATE CHIP PIZZA THAT PIZZA INN IS KNOWN FOR DONT VISIT THIS LOCATION.

We visited this afternoon. There were no fresh/hot pizzas placed on the hot bar. I made a salad but there were few toppings or dressing labeled by type. No napkins were offered until half way thru our meal. We asked for 2 specialty pizzas but didnt get until almost done with our meal. At time of check out, I made note that two of us qualified for the senior discount original total was $34.46 and after I made mention of senior discount, he said it was $34 and some change. I would think 2 discounts would have made more of a difference in cost. Am I wrong?

A year ago I would have given this place 5 stars and have always said I wished there were others around to visit when I travel,but over the past year or so, I just dont understand what has happened. The pizza has not been as good, it has been cold with not much variety to choose from. I am a very picky pizza eater so when I say I like somewheres pizza then you best believe it is good. I would occasionally try the spaghetti and sauce and the last time I did, the noodles were mush and the sauce made me sick. I hope it improves soon to what it used to be.

It is okay. It is always a wait on full line of pizzas on the buffet. Sometimes the pizzas on the line looks as if they have been there for a while. The salad side though is great, and I have never had a problem with the wait staff. In my opinion, the pizza just isnt as good as it used to be. It is just okay.

Cant go wrong here. Make a special pizza just for you to go on buffet an the best broccoli soup. Although read online close at 10 an just went by there(8:45) an told me there closing in 15 mins. So there online hrs are wrong. They close every night at 9. Hopefully saved you a trip if you were planning to eat late.

So far I have enjoyed all 3 of my visits to pizza inn. Pretty much all of the pizzas are thin crust but as a pizza based buffet experience you will not be disappointed if you go here. I enjoy it more than I have ever enjoyed going to Cicis pizza and will definitely be returning.

Okay Im sorry but its not that good even for such a low price. Lets put it this way its all you can eat and I got up after my drink went empty. Then stopped at the gas station just past this place and got a real meal. They have awesome Big Beef Burritos BomB and man was that ever good. Heated it up and ate like a king cheaper then Pizza Inn and 10 times better I might add.

Randy, I seriously hope you read these reviews, but if not, I will personally send you a letter. On September 2, 2018, I came in to the Pizza Inn to have lunch, just like I have since 2007. This restaurant is filthy, including the bathrooms. Your restaurant is being run by smart mouthed teenagers like Joseph and Kaitlin and a manager that thinks by giving half off of a meal you never received is going to fix the problems. I have enjoyed your restaurant for many years until now, and since Henderson has very few restaurants to eat in, yours has always been one of my favorites. Not any longer. I was ignored by the server and disrespected by your teenager. Specifically, I only got 2 pieces of cheese pizza and a plate of spaghetti. No cheese pizza ever made it out of your kitchen the entire time I was there. This is so terrible that you would treat your customers like this.

Ample seating at 5 PM on a Friday night. Gets filled fast after. Great selection of pizza and salad along with spaghetti and mac and cheese. Service great. Only reason for 4 stars there was many times the buffet was lacking pizzas. Have great dessert pizzas too. Average prices and clean.

I love this place!!! Me and my family have been coming here for the last few years after we found this jewel of a restraunt. The inside is decorated like a train which is fun. It is inexpensive, and the buffet has a great selection. It must be a local favorite as well because it is always busy. Which is great cause the food is always fresh. The people working here are wonderful!!! PLUS It is beside a skating rink and a fun park that has mini golf.

The pizza here is good. Its a pizza buffet so dont expect it to be top notch New York style pizza or anything. I give 4 stars because for a pizza buffet it is good. It can get crowded especially on Friday nights after 5 or 6 pm. That is when I typically will go for dinner with my family. The manager does get around and help folks and make sure they are being taken car of. With so many people the line can get long and take a bit to get through. You can order pizza specifically to be taken to your table and its included with the buffet price. Just be sure to order it as soon as you get seated because it can take 30 minutes. Not bad as long as you know thats how long it will be. But while Im waiting I just try not to fill up on the spaghetti and meat sauce! Thats super good. They have cheesy bread and a salad bar. They have soup everyday too. All of it is included with the buffett. Some days they will have sausage with onions. Overall its pretty good for the price!

For a first time customer it was pretty confusing. Walking in, you see a ticket booth (checkout register) and no sign or indication that you are meant to seat yourself around the corner at a booth, where you order a drink and then help yourself to the buffet. Someone came around asking what pizzas people would like which was nice, but I expected it to be made and put out on the buffet. Instead he brought a small personal size pizza that I asked for, which was quite nice, but unexpected based on my experience with pizza buffets. All in all the lunch buffet is a good value, but they are very unclear on how things work.

Absolutely horrible food and service. I literally wanted to walk out without paying but I didn’t. I didn’t even eat anything it was so bad. They gave me a discount for my troubles but that didn’t change anything. I will never come back here. I don’t even want to give them 1 star that’s how bad it is

SO disappointed!! This used to be the absolute best place for pizza, but now, I wouldnt take my dog there to eat.The place was disgusting. There was food and trash all over the floors, the food on the buffet looked 10 days old reheated and the staff walked around like they didnt care one bit.My husband and I were there at least an hour, and in that whole time they only put out one fresh pizza on the buffet. At least it was my favorite chocolate pudding pizza, but thats usually dessert and not the only course. We even requested fresh pizza, but it never came. In the past they would bring a few slices to your table before it was put on the buffet. The salad bar seemed okay, but with the entire restaurant as dirty as it was, it was hard to trust it.I didnt even bother with the bathroom, and opted to take my daughter to the Walmart bathroom when we left.It took 10 minutes standing at checkout before anyone took our money, and that was after talking to someone twice and at least 10 people working there milling about.If you have any standards at all about where you eat, please dont waste your time here.

Mrs. Short was our waitress, she never came back to our table . I went and personally asked her for more tea and about 5 minutes later another waitress refilled our glasses. The pizza selection at 2:30 PM was scarce at best. When a fresh pizza was made you had to be standing there to get some because people were piling up their plates. Too much money to be eating leftovers

Pizza on buffet was cold when we got there. Eventually, hot pizza came out and it was only okay. Wings were decent, server was nice. Not a fan of their pizza.

The only pleasurable part of my experience was our waitress. The buffet was disgusting. All of the food was old and crusty. I asked a woman that was at the buffet trying to find something edible if they were about to close or something. She said no its always like this when they have a rush of menu orders. The waitress tried her best to accommodate us. She explained that when they have orders from the menu they take care of those and neglect the buffet bar. When they are done with the menu orders then they restock the buffet. Wish I had known that ahead of time . I would have just ordered pizza from the menu😒

Usually fantastic, but absolutely horrible today. Went with the family for mother’s day, apparently the sausage was about to expire because the line was consistently 1 random pizza and 4 sausage pizzas; which all tasted like fish. It was extremely busy and we sat at the only table which was available and had already eaten candy on it which the waitress did not offer to wipe off or anything and after bringing us our drink went and sat to count her tips.(my mother then went and got two refills of my dads drink from the back). When cheese sticks came out the employees hurdled up next to it to eat them without a plate or anything and just stood there eating them. Only saw the waitress the one time and then from there on met us in the line and handed my mom our bill without saying a word and went to grab her tip. Oh and while she was counting her tips the “bus boys” stood and laughed at here instead of collecting the dishes from the 11 tables that emptied by the time we left.

Ive been going since the early 90s and they have the best taco pizza, multiple dessert pizzas, salad bar, and spaghetti. Its defiantly worth going. Lunch Buffett is super cheap!

First time coming here and it will be the last. We sat ourselves, waited for the waitress to bring our menu. Sat here for another 15 mins afterwards with empty glasses and no waitress to take our order. So we ended up getting the buffet instead. She had nerve to ask so you guys decided to get the buffet? Apparently so because she wasnt planning on taking our order anytime soon. I even had to ask her to refill my drink or that wouldnt have gotten refilled. Plates sit on side of table until you leave. Wont be coming here again. Terrible service.

Generally well prepared-flavorful pizza with mediocre to substandard service for to go customers. So far on visits for take out pizza the results have been a dish that cools to warm or even cold upon receipt. The staff may or may not take ones name but NEVER CALL IT. The finished pizza may sit 10 to 15 minutes before anyone bothers to inform the customer it is ready. This has happened 4 out of 5 visits. Consequently, l seldom patronize this restaurant.

I know everyone has their own idea of good pizza, but this is awful, like a cheap brand of frozen pizza. My grandson loved it but I was disappointed in wasting my money and calories. The place was packed and other people seemed to be enjoying their food so if youre a pizza connoisseur ( real NYC style)I would not recommend this place but if you like an all you can eat buffet you might like it

Love pizza inn but this one is hit or miss. They pizzert (choc chip) is not. Ally great, but the last one I got was raw. Yuck. Its an OK place. Just OK.
