I went in for a simple oil change. They tried to sell me$1,300 worth of extra service, all of which I didnt need! They tried to tell me I needed to replace my rack and pinion because it was leaking bad. There is no leak, not one drop. They told me I needed all new brakes, when they were just replaced 6 months ago and have plenty left. I will never go to purrfect auto again. Stay away!

Staff seemed friendly but not all the work was done on my car as promised. Was made to pay upfront for everything and didnt get all the services I paid for. The only reason this review isnt a 1 star is I got my car back in one piece with the parts I needed. I recommend taking your vehicle to reputable mechanic at a well known chain or to your dealership as prices here also dont vary too far from it. The dealership is also held responsible for your car.

Trustworthy and skilled, they have done the jobs I didnt have time to do. Rotating service managers that try to upsell you all the time but if you get estimates, they keep them on file and honor the original quotes. Very efficient even if no appointment made. My go too shop.

Had some smog emissions diagnostics done here after picking it at random and overall I like the layout of the place and the work proposed seemed like a honest and fair assessment.

This place is a total and complete scam. They do bad work most of the mechanics in their shop are not licensed. They do not warranty their parts or work. They put a bad water pump on my vehicle and when I called to inquire about the warranty the so manager screamed at me he was very rude and disrespectful unprofessional he behaved like an animal.

Decent place. Didnt over charge me for replacing my brakes. But when I had a squeaky problem, they didnt believe me until I took them for a drive. Turns out someone bent some metal that scared my rotor.

I went in for oil change at 195,053 miles and I took a trip and put on 1150 miles i noticed there was a slight leak so I took it into the place who knows my car and they said the oil had not been changed and oil pan plug was stripped and they showed me how black the oil was and said no way was this oil changed 1150 miles ago. I ended up spending money to get my oil pan plug changed and a oil replaced. I will not be taking any of my vehicles back to this place because I expect people to give me what I paid for. I called them to let them know what had happened, they only thing they said was, they changed the oil. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Walked in without an appointment. Lobby was clean, seats were comfortable, reception interaction was very nice, The Office was playing on the tv which helped make the wait time fly by. Super cheap cost. Got my keys back before estimated time given. Thank you guys for quick service!

We to Purrfect Auto service yesterday to get my van smoged. I was told that it passed but unless I pay $45 to replace the snogging hoockup piece in front of my driver sit, which has been tampered with(pulled out), my van will be failed. That theres no way he would pass my pass my van with that. When I refused to pay, my van was failed, and issued a failed certificate plus $9.99 smog fee, which I paid.On my way from there, I stopped at a smog station down the street, got my van smoged without I incident. My van passed smog test. SO YOU MAKE THE CALL!!!! WILL I GO THERE AGAIN? NO! Last year, a friend of mines care got messed you during smog test inspection.Costs her hundreds to fix it.

False Advertisement!!! Received a flyer about this place with $9.99 oil change promotion (includes new Oil Filter and up to 5 Quarts of 5W-30 Regular Oil). I went to this place and brought my own new Oil Filter and 5 Quart of 0W-20 Synthetic Oil. They did NOT want to honor the promotion and charged me $20 for the oil change (with my own Oil and Filter).

THE BEST auto service shop in the valley!!Exceptional service. Great, honest people. You cant ask for more.I brought a car in that I recently bought for them to inspect and they let me know EXACTLY what needed repairs; nothing was unnecessary that they mentioned. Long story short, the car was basically extremely dangerous to run as it was, and the repairs were more than hefty. All the needed services were done in a timely, thorough manner and they constantly communicated with me before doing ANY step of the job, making sure that they get an approval before conducting any further services. All of the staff there make sure to help you get the MOST help that you can possibly get so that you can safely drive your car on the streets. I would, no doubt, recommend Purrfect Auto Service shop to ANYONE that I know (and I would specifically mention this location because of their integrity and hospitality). With that said, if you have any sort of car servicing that you need done, make sure to come to Purrfect Auto Service on Valle Verde; you will NOT regret it whatsoever.

I went in to get my A/C fixed. It worked for 2 days. They told me the repair would take 45 minutes and cost $169. Well it took over 3 hours and they charged me $189. I was told if a leak still existed I would not have to pay that again. Upon returning was told I would have to pay that again. I feel that I should pay for the repair to fix the leak, but not to refill the freon. Of course every time it was a different person. Now the mechanic repairing my A/C stated they didnt do what the said and messed up the system worse. I should have known because 23 years ago the shop on Charleston Avenue messed up the A/C on my 1990 E150. It has never worked right since. Maybe they put in a sub standard compressor.

They were very busy but polite.

I always use this place for my smog. Its exactly what they say $9.99 not a penny over. Always good customer service.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Victor (the manager, Im assuming) took me out into the garage and showed me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. I know most auto shops are notorious for bogus charges and issues with your vehicle. Not once did I feel like I was being taken advantage of! This place is 100% terrible. The manager Teddy charged me $900 to fix my car. I paid it and the same problem was still happening. I went back in and his solution was for me to take it to Nissan while still claiming he fixed the problem. He’s rude to customers and the staff is overwhelmed. This is the worst customer service I’ve experienced in all my years in Vegas. The clincher is he kept referring to my car as a Versa instead of a Sentra. And when he said he “did” fix my car because the check engine light was no longer on, I had to inform him it was never on in the first place. He pays no attention.

Ripoff Alert: Went in to have mild screeching noise fixed; they replaced the water pump that wasn’t causing the noise and charged me 5 hours labor that took them an hour to fix; come to find out, it was the pulley and tensioner causing the noise that I had to go to another Mechanic to fix. They replaced parts that did not need replaced at $800 that should have been around $300. Don’t be fooled by their $9.99 oil change -it’s a bait and switch. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! Get your oil changed but don’t let them rip you off on engine work. If I could give them zero stars I would; they ripped me for at least $500

Update: within the last year I have had to go back to this place. Went in for them to check fluids and belts to replace and end up with new hoses and belts as well as a tune up. Way over charged for it but I needed it. That was only the beginning. That simple tune up they did turned my car into a lemon. They have damaged my car and not taken responsibility for it. They did not fasten my inner wheel well back together after I picked it up and when driving away from the lot I end up loosing the wheel well and driving over it. Take it back to shop and manager says he will order it. That was a year ago. Still waiting for a call. End up getting a transmission done while I was there and the transmission became a problem in itself. Other problems have happened and keep happening since my initial visit there a year ago. If you love your car just take it somewhere with real mechanics that will love your car too.

Ive been doing the smog at this place for years, no problem so far until today when the new guy (every year i see different people) said he couldnt smog it because my car plug is loose when its been like that since i bought the car and doing the smog at this same place. still charged me the $10 just to drive my car around and touch the plug. easy way to make easy money. avoid this place, go somewhere else.

This auto shop completely ruined my car. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. After taking it to them for about a year, I finally had to take it somewhere else because after about $4,000 my car was more broken than when I brought it in. Turns out they CUT MY HEATER HOSE. On top of that I paid for my ac to be fixed and it is now almost completely broken. They put wrong fluid in my coolant tank, causing many issues that have now almost ruined my radiator. I could go on and on. They “replaced” my body module sensor for almost $2000 and the issues were never fixed. This is the shadiest place in Vegas.

Went in for an oil change and was warned of the damage being done to my motor mounts and brake pads from buying my used car. Ill definitely keep coming back here for all of my car needs. This place is awesome.

Great prices, but be prepared to wait

I took my car here for new struts, control arms, and a fluid change. After keeping my car all day and overnight, I was told parts were still not in and I should come back around closing time, as they would work until it was finished. I returned as they were locking the front door. They tossed me the keys and said the car was ready. I tried the keys; the car wouldnt even start! I had no ignition issues when I dropped my car off!! They took off in their own cars and left me with a car that didnt even run.On top of that, I was charged for new struts, and they were never installed. I had to make an appointment with the manager to get a refund. This was after 2 weeks of complaints and threatening legal action. This place is full of crooks. Look up their past legal troubles, youll find that nothing has changed.

I recommend this location in particular, Jennifer their store manager is amazing. I had an issue at the location on St. Rose and Eastern, and Jennifer picked up the issue fixed and resolved my vehicle. She kept up with me and made everything easy for me. I was never going to return t purfect auto after my initial experience but this location will have a loyal customer in me. Thank you Jennifer and staff!

Brought my 2015 Honda Accord hybrid in because I had a few lights on. Ldw lcw also transmission problem. They hooked it up to the computer and came up with 5 codes. I was watching them when they told me they were further testing I saw no one working on it. They came back and told me they can either repair or replace the transmission which was 20k from dealer or rebuild for 4k. They then road tested it with my request and they too did not experience any problems with transmission. I was not experiencing any issues with the transmission.I brought it to sun auto they told me the battery needs to be replaced that’s what’s causing the errors to happen. The codes were low voltage. They replaced the bat and no issues since. I am fighting with them to get my 100 dollar diagnostic fee back. Don’t ever go there they will want to replace stuff that is not broken to make money on you. Read the reviews I am not The only one that says they want to replace things that are not broken.

Price was great! Staff was great and here is the other good point, my car is in good shape and they did there analysis and as a female told me they didnt find any problems that I didnt already know about.....great place to go for single women! Honest bunch of folks I give them 5 stars recommended

Honest service that wants to help the customer and their vehicle. The mechanics got us through hard times with an old 1996 Toyota Corolla and a poor budget. Very friendly service, and their waiting room is very comfortable. Cushioned recliners and vending machines. If youre looking for a mechanic thats honest and wont take advantage of the customer, this is the place. They know what theyre doing and want to help. From tune ups to extensive repair.

I went here to get oil change done and brought my own oil filter and 5 quarts of Full Synthetic oil. My car takes exactly 5 quarts, but when I got home and check the oil level the following morning, it was at half full.So where did the other half go? Are you people stealing?

Danny the newer manager I believe is a pure scamming hustler. He gave me a super high quote on a simple fix. Over emphasized problems and gave unrealistic prices. Had a smog test done about a month ago. Great price, fast service. Would definitly recommend to all. This weekend, my battery was not working properly. I was told by the dealership I needed a new battery.I called Purrfect Auto again. They got me in the next day and I was out in about 25 minutes and for $15 less than the dealership with the same warranty. Great service!

Had been bringing personal and company vehicles for smog here for years, including an RV, and $10 had been consistent until today. Cody, the new manager said it would be $40 to smog my RV. I told him to look at previous records and check that it had always been $10. He said Sounds like before you had been winning, now its time for us as a company to start winning. Um, if you guys wanted to win maybe you should try not gauging people on repairs, oh, and perhaps do the repairs correctly the first time. If you want to win your tactic to lure in customers with a $10 should be upheld so you continue to get repeat business. They had tried to tell me about some work that needed to be done on previous vehicles, but I didnt trust what they said because it didnt sound right. The only thing I ever gave these guys were smogs, and they would get about 20 vehicles between my personal and company cars. Now they will get nothing. Shame.

I went here to get my car fixed, it was having a service emissions system pop up. They act all sweet and are like awesome sauce lets fix that car!! So I leave, get my car the next day, Im good. I drive off and next day service emissions system pop up Again but its twitchy, so now its good but thats 250 down the drain!

I first visited this shop around two years ago, for a simple oil change. During the process, they inspected the car and presented me with a two page read out of problems theyd detected. Although a couple of the problems I already knew about, I thought the rest of it was just a case of nit-picking and hard selling. And I generally had some misgivings over the experience.I called last week for an estimate on removing and replacing a failed component on my aircon system. Its quite an expensive part, and they gave me an over the phone cost quote including labor, that was very reasonable.I arrived at the shop early yesterday morning and they proceeded with the task of dismantling a lot of lines, hoses, clamps and such, to get to the faulty component, which is difficult to remove and install. It was to be a 3hr job and I would just wait on the premises. But when the parts delivery arrived, they had brought the wrong part.After waiting and waiting for the parts supplier to return with the correct component, I finally called a friend and went to lunch. When I returned, my car was parked in front, fully repaired. They even fixed a small related problem...at no charge.At checkout, the bill was actually a little less than I expected...maybe a discount for the unintended long wait? Much appreciated.Started up the car, and the aircon has never run better.The service people and manager were very much up front, and were happy to take the time to explain all the goings on, etc.Overall, Id say a very good experience. Theyve won a customer over, and Ill surely be going back to their shop.

I only needed an oil change, as usual they took my air filters out to show them to me and hope that I would ask to change them (I sure didn`t ask to take them out), when I said no thanks not only I was told how I didn`t care about my vehicle but one of them was improperly installed back in (turned 180 degrees) and it caused the cover not to be able to close and be secured, only one latch out of four was tight causing debris to enter the engine.You do what you want with your car, but expect to have them looking very hard to find things that according to them need to be replaced or fixed (without having the knowledge or care to do it right).Giving a star is more than they deserve.

I can see this place is still lousy. I went here years ago, but finally went elsewhere. These guys are rip off artists, telling you something needs fixing when nothing is broken....time hasnt changed a thing...go elsewhere.

I dont even know where to start. First, the tech told the manager, Teddy, while i was right in front of him that I had a broken motor mount and when they got the approval from the warranty company they never asked to include that in the repair. Teddy called and told me it was ready and listed everything he had done. It didnt include the motor mount. After I brought it up, he told me it wasnt broken. After some back and forth he sent a new request to the warranty company. He somehow managed to get the approval, buy the part and complete the repair in less than 6 hours. However, when I took my car elsewhere for an oil change a couple months later they found that the same motor mount was still broken and now missing the main bolt and nut! IMpurrfect auto had charged my warranty company for a repair they never completed and actually made worse. They also failed to bolt down the new blend door actuator that they installed, leaving it inoperable!

SCAMMERS!!!! My daughter took her car to be diagnosed and repaired. They gave her a hand written piece of paper with no pricing on it. Only a verbal of 3300 this long list of problems.I didnt feel right about it from the quote so we took it somewhere else and she needed none of the work quoted. Including a new engine. It was only a belt and a few other minor things. 800 quote verses crazy 3300 bogus quote.When we told them we would be taking it elsewhere for another quote they called us back twice offering a small discount if we just went ahead with all of the repairs.Then when I called to confront them I got the run around. I will be reporting them to BBB and DMV!.What a joke of a quote. See picture of it sent to us by phone with no company info on it or prices.

This place will rip you off. The few I went there only for smog or oil changes they try to convince you that you have problems that need fixed. I brought my 2018 Honda less than 20k miles and they had a whole list of things the “advises” the needed corrected. Very dishonest business here. Other times I watch them try to convince customer after customer they have more issues than what they brought it in for. Stay Away!!!

I had a rattling noise under the hood. The team found the issue which was just a noisy air conditioner. I also got an oil change and received their inspection. Unfortunately something happened and one of my hub caps was lost. Manager was exceptional and replaced all 4 hub caps. The professionalism and courtesy of the whole team is awesome! Thank you.

I went to Purrfect Auto to have my oil changed and get a smog check if I give gave a good Yelp review my oil change was free so I give a Yelp review before they even touched my car now my car has almost no oil tires are low and never will I go there again but now Im afraid my car is going to blow up Ive got to put oil in it just to get it to a shop if this doesnt get cleared up tomorrow I am calling Contact 13 they never put my car even in the building they did it outside the building and told me my rotors were bad on a brand new car I would not recommend anyone going to this perfect Auto on Sunset and Valley View

STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. I’ve finally had the funds to go get my vehicle properly fixed at another mechanic shop after months of it just sitting in my driveway. These guys completely ripped me off and almost made me total my poor baby on the freeway. The steering column was not put back together properly and almost went through the floor. They lied to me on several occasions and tampered with my vehicle. A ~$700 fix has now turned into almost $3,000 for all the damage they’ve done. I could go into more detail, but feel like this should be enough for anyone who cares about the vehicle enough to get it fixed and properly cared for the first time around. These guys should be put out of business for shady practices.
