I thought it was a fantastic experience, all the employees were friendly and enjoyable to talk to. It took a lot longer than I thought but then again they havent received my parts yet and thats not their fault. There is no rating low enough to fully encompass not only my disappointment but annoyance at where this business has gone, both in terms of service and integrity.Weve given them lots of business over the years so when I wanted someone to work on my classic vehicle they seemed like a logical choice. Huge mistake.Imperial auto accepted a large deposit for the project and after 18 months, nothing, and I mean nothing had been done to further the project.Loren, the owner, gave excuse after excuse as to why it hadnt been completed. These people really care about old cars. If you have an oldie and are having a tough time finding somebody who will conscientiously do everything they can to help you get your beloved olde ride back on the road, this is the place. Dont even think about going somewhere else. Im very grateful to have a shop I can take my old truck to and know it will get the very best care.

Imperial Auto saved my Corvette. The Chevrolet dealer didn’t want to touch my car and they recommended Imperial. I was wary at first since I take all my cars to the dealership for work but they did a great job diagnosing what was wrong. The problem was fixed and ready to take home in two business days. Their price was fair and they were completely professional the entire time. They took time to explain to me what part of my car failed and what the fix would be. I’m definitely recommending them to my friends and I’ll be bringing my Corvette back to them soon for other maintenance.

I am the original owner of a 1988 mustang GT convertible that was having fuel issues, being from out of state and not knowing who to take it for repair is quite frustrating. you never know what could happen...These people are on top of their game! The owner is amazing!!! When I first started going to Imperial Auto, he found something really wrong with my car (like I could have died if I got in an accident wrong). He told me that I couldnt leave with my car and he set up a rental. He paid for it too. He is the sweetest guy. I will always take my car here.The staff is thorough and polite. They are always willing to explain why they want to do things to your car. Safe place for women (and men) to go to not get ripped off.They have a AAA discount. Sometimes they have a long wait, but it is totally worth it. Theyll drive you home or to work if you ask.

Did exactly what I asked in a timely manner and more. Estimates on the items I asked for were given with no pressure to have the items fixed NOW, which was also nice. The exterior wash at no charge is a much appreciated bonus. Very clean and professional! Why would I go anywhere else?I also asked for estimates for what I consider to be minor problems. They gave them to me in detail with, SURPRISE!, absolutely no sales pressure to get it done now. You cant ask for better service.As a senior citizen on a fixed income I appreciate this type of service very much. As a former mechanic (in my younger days) I understand how difficult it is to please the public.BTW: Jiffy Lube says they charge $19.95 for a lube and oil change, but to receive the total package and the synthetic blend oil you actually pay $39 and up. Imperial charges $28 for better service, and you dont have to pay extra for the synthetic blend, not to mention you receive a free car wash!We will be back!

My pilot died so the tow truck guy thru AAA brought it to Imperial, mistakenly thinking it was open on Sunday morning. Being stranded and from AZ I was initially a little upset with that, but the following Monday the people at imperial were just so pleasant to deal with an price to replace an alternator so fair that I easily forgave the tow truck guy. Bruce is a real gentleman, and the rest were so great to work with...I wish I lived in Henderson! So many nice things there including Imperial!

Referred by AAA after losing starter requiring tow to this unknown shop. Pleasantly surprised to see service advisor I had at Findlay Toyota. 10% off labor and excellent quality work vs dealerships. They did honest assessment of the 03 vehicle and recommended a few repairs. Took car back 2nd time and pleased with services and cost. Also helped that my old Findlay Honda service advisor who went to work for Findlay Toyota NEVER called me back! One way loyalty so aloha, Tim!!

This place is amazing, so much so that my family and I just keep getting suprised how much they care about their customers. They have integrity, their honest and communicate very well. They go above and beyond for their customers, and its nice driving away with ease of mind that your car is safe and you were not taking advantage of as a customer. Would recommend this place to all, and probably the best place to take your car in Henderson. Will use them for years to come:)

Fast professional service

I needed a hole in my stainless steel down pipe fixed. I went to a couple other places and the second recommended here. They were super busy, but I was greeted and helped soon after. The guy asked what I needed and he took the down pipe. Thirty to forty five mins later, boom it was done.

My car needed a new motor so I brought it here after being referred by a friend. Granted its an older car, and had been sitting for months, this shop decided to take on the task. I guess it took a while to get all the parts needed, which I expected, but when I would call weeks apart to get updates on how things were going from my main guy on the task, he was always busy, or unable to talk, or somehow forget to call me. It really felt like I was getting the run around. One day though, I called and Bruce spoke with me. I explained that I was not trying to be a bother and that I simply wanted to know how things were going on my car. Bruce was very understanding. We didnt even have any long convos. He simply would say he understood and that hed look into it and get back to me. To my surprise the classy bastard actually did get back to me. For the remaining time my car was with the shop, Bruce and Lisa always made me feel welcome. I dont know what caused things to get off on the wrong foot with the first person, but I would definitely take my car back to Bruce and Lisa and also recommend the same to any one else.

AAA dropped us and our broken truck here. They took very good care of us and our truck. Had to wait over night for parts. They shuttled us to hotel and back. Comfy waiting room. Knowledgeable staff. Would recommend.

Excellent, excellent service. I have been there a few times and havent written a review before even though the service was fantastic EVERY time. Their prices are better than anywhere else, and all of the staff are very polite. Today I found I had a screw in my tire right before work! I took it to Imperial and they fixed it in 10 minutes at no charge! Its the little things like this that shows the integrity of the company that many others forget. This is why I will not go anywhere else.

Recently purchased a car, and brought it here to get the brakes and a few other things looked at. When I received a phone call a few hours later I was told that several things would need to be replaced, and the parts and labor would be a grand total of $1300 and change. Im currently a medical school student and dont have a lot of money. I explained this and the fact that I would need to discuss any repairs with my wife before I made any decisions. They really encouraged me to get some of the work done before I took my car. When I asked how much that portion of parts and labor would be, I was quoted over $800. I laughed out loud and again said that I would not be making any decisions today. One of the problems they discovered (that we suspected) was that the rear rims were bent. The price quoted for an individual rim for a Nissan Versa was over $150 dollars. Naturally, I wanted a second opinion. I went to the nearest Discount Tire and discovered that they could replace the bent rims with new rims for $54.95 each. Imperial Auto & Truck Service Center wanted to charge me THREE TIMES THE PRICE!! I can only imagine that the other prices they quoted to me were slightly inflated as well.

Car ran 10x worse after receiving it back. Hundreds of dollars later at 90/hr in labor and they never even bothered to test drive it. If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid this place and save your hard earned money.

I just moved here didnt know anyone. My Lexus had a dead battery and Triple A came out and tested my battery and said I needed an alternator. I took it into Imperial Auto fully expecting them to replace it. They called me after a couple of hours and said all that was needed was the battery to be recharged. I was shocked because they could have just replaced the alternator and I would have never known the difference.These guys are very honest people which is rare in that industry!!

4 years ago my sister had an accident in my car that scrunched up the front with over $3,000 of damage. As it was an old car, I didnt have collision insurance. I kept thinking I would buy a new car. Loren treated me like family, fixed the car to safe driving condition (tho it still looked wrecked) and maintained it for me for minimal cost, until I finally bought a 2015 car from a dealer that includes maintenance. Even now, if I have a question, I call Loren before the dealer and trust him with my life. I highly recommend Imperial for any service for your vehicle, for honest, expert, care you can trust.

Our daughter moved out here 2+ years ago. When we visit, good old dad takes her car to Imperial for service. Imperial provides professional, friendly and top-notch service. They also dont try to find unnecessary work to do on the car -- very open and honest about what is needed and what can be deferred. Btw, since were not here everytime the oil needs to be changed, she has had service done as well, same experience as mine. Now about dad letting go.....

I have brought my 1959 Chevy Apache into the shop for a new engine, AC, new front end with power steering. My truck was drop off in mid November of 2015 and was promised to be completed by March 11, 2016.Then promised to be completed by July 4, 2016, then November 19, 2016, then March 9, 2017, then July 10, 2017 (in writing). Then was told they only had 30 to 50 hours left of work and would be completed by Labor day September 4, 2017. I have been calling them and leaving message with no return call. They do not return calls, would not recommend to anyone for anything. When they did call always had an excuse and then guaranty that they had all parts that they just needed to assemble.Very poor management, would rates less if possible.

I am a mechanic myself and this is by far the worst service i have EVER experienced in all my years of working with other mechanics. These guys literally mis-diagnosed every issue that we had them look at on our 2 company vehicles and they just kept telling us that it must be another issue and they gotta dig a little deeper into it and now its going to be X amount more to fix that also. Being a mechanic myself and knowing the sometimes difficult processes of these types of repairs i tried to be patient and just let them try to find the underlying issue, but even that was a complete waste of our time. After the 3rd warranty return visit the owner got involved and told me that they were able to finally track down the issues and that it would only be another few hundred bucks to fix the issue but... here we are now 5 visits and approx $1500 later and we still have the same problem. Seems to me that all these guys wanna do is just guess what the issue is and sell you their over priced parts and labor rather than actually fixing anything. Avoid this place like the plague if possible!!!

Fair friendly honest professional repair shop

I would not recommend anyone bring their car or truck to Imperial. I brought my truck in and was told it would take 2 weeks just to look at it. Ok. After 2 weeks was told they need a few more days. Ok. After a few more days they need another week. Ok. After that week, I was the next vehicle in. 2 days later I was still waiting for a bay to open up. After 6 weeks of waiting I had to takeep my truck and bring it to someone else. I was told lies, and strung along till I had enough. The owner was at the counter when I walked up and asked him for the keys. As soon as he realized what truck I was coming in for he disappeared in the back. Did not have the decency to explain to me why or how the ball was dropped. Do yourself a favor and take your ride somewhere else.

My family has gotten several repairs and serivce for two vehicles here and theyre always on point. Good customer service, communication and gets the job done right away.

I have been in the car business for many years. I buy and sell cars and needed a good place to take them all. I tried 6 vehicles with this facility. They were very disorganized. They misdiagnosed 5 out of the 6 vehicles they worked on. And that one took months to finish when it should have taken a week max. One of the vehicles sat in the lot for over a month. I called almost daily for a report and they would either ignore me or make some excuse why it was not looked at. I finally had to pick the vehicle up for another mechanic to look at. It was the second time the vehicle was looked at there. One vehicle was diagnosed with thousands of dollars in repair. It was fixed by simply another mechanic by cleaning the fuel tank and putting clean filters in the vehicle. Another was there for months. They said it was the wiring to the computer and was fixed and charged me 400.00. When I went to drive it away it had the same problem as when I brought it in. They looked at it another 3 weeks and said it was going to cost thousands to fix and that they were confused as to what was wrong with this vehicle. When inspected personally. The wiring to the computer was untouched and not repaired as stated. They would not refund the money either. Money down the drain. The vehicle was later fixed with a throttle body that was 99.00 and installed in 30 mins.The shop is good if you need an oil change or AC fixed. Maybe simple repairs like brakes and that sort of thing. But if you need any major repair or there is something that needs diagnosing they will not give you any attention unless you are spending a considerable amount of money. And even then it may not be repaired properly. Not one of the vehicles that needed and major repair was diagnosed or fixed properly by this garage. The only reason I give it any stars at all is because they could manage simple tasks like oil changes or tire rotation.I guess there is a real need for good and fair mechanics in this town, I know some rant and rave about one car they had bad service from. I had 6. And dont be fooled by positive reviews by the friends and family and by the shops them selves. This shop cost me thousands of dollars in time and misdiagnosing of vehicles. Dont be fooled.

Not too Happy with these folks told me i had a crack in the block of my Toyota Camery had my guy take it apart and it was a small leak from the gasket and water was creeping into the oil. Shisters $$$$ these crooks.

This is the worse place I ever got any vehicle repaired at. Spent over $3,000 in repairs and in under 500 miles everything they touched has had to be redone.includes :- Tune UP & Repair fuel injectionTransmission LeakBrakesSteeringand several other items I cannot remember.Finally with the transmission they said it needed stripping down and all seals replaces at a cost of $3,000 estimate. I cost a $70 part that they replaced with the wrong part.

DON’T GO THERE! I had my car repaired there several times and every time I had to come back to get it repaired again for something else. It’s like a never-ending repair, after I left, something else went wrong, my car was there for three days and I was told the car had a bad head gasket to be repaired for $2000.00, and found out elsewhere it was just a water pump gasket. Then I was charged for restocking fees and charged for gas, WHAT, WHY? I blew a lot of money there because I trusted Loren, the owner; I finally got wise and went elsewhere.

I brought my car in here a couple of months ago and had an ok experience. The front desk wasnt very friendly and I had to call back multiple times when they said they were going to call me.

I had a timing belt and motor mounts done. I had to take the car back because the mounts were not in right but they fixed it and listened to me about the issue. The problem both times was they always had to hold the car overnight or two nights because the parts took forever to arrive. And when you call around 3pm to ask if the car will be done today you are given the brush off.
