Been taking our vehicles to Ken Douglas for over 18 years. The company has changed names at least three times, it is now called tire choice. He directed me to see Sean the manager at the sunset store and he did a wonderful job on all three of our vehicles. Griffey was also very helpful. Not only was it very expensive to find out how much to complete repairs (I declined), when I got my vehicle home I discovered that it was out of fuel which means I got taken for a diagnostic that wasnt done correctly or completely. Caveat emptor! Shame on you for dishonest service!!!

Financially planning for it, has its struggles,(get quotes on paper, compare those quotes to other shops, find the best deal) but finding a shop you can trust, that is the real challenge.🚗 As a female, some shops will blow off my questions. I admit, I have a lot of them. The team here, is knowledgeable and patient. I feel they care about my business and strive to keep me as a customer... but more importantly I feel safe taking my vehicle here, for total car care.. not just oil or tires. The shop is equipped to handle many repairs, probably all repairs. (They have an old school master mechanic who super knowledgeable.)My truck is my step child, lol... i have no intention of buying a new car anytime soon... so its my job to take good care of it.I trust these guys.They earned my business.

Great customer service with no pressure

Vehicle alerted to low tire pressure. The culprit was a screw. We wanted to find a tire repair shop close to home because we are new to the state. We found Superior Tire less than 2 miles away. The guys were nice, professional and FAST. I had no idea that flats are fixed for free. That was a complete surprise. I am certain that I have found the right place for my vehicle maintain and repair!

I cannot say enough good about Superior Tire and Service Center!! The manager, Jon Ritz was very kind, he could not have been nicer and more helpful ! We went in for an oil change and there was no wait. The location is at a perfect place on Sunset near Ethel Ms, with many places surrounding it to get a bite to eat, or even go bowling while you wait. They are Amazing, they did a brake inspection at no charge, a free battery check, and even checked air preasure in our tires! Very convent and they treat you like family. It was my first time with the new owners of this Good Year franchise. So far, so good.

I only went to Goodyear on Sunset. Although they sell tires, I went for a battery. They quoted a battery price then when I got there suddenly there was an installation and labor fee so I didnt like the blindside tactic and went to Autozone free installation a mile or less away. They always nickle and dime you at Goodyear. Only if an absolute emergency would I use them again.

This is the best place in town to get your vehicle serviced. I was assisted by Jon Ritz. He was friendly and answered all my questions. He quoted me at great prices for future services my vehicle needed and I will definitely be back! Thank you Jon!

These guys are great! I usually visit the Superior Tire on Sunset Boulevard in Henderson. They are always friendly, speedy and seemingly honest with me. Ive never felt overcharged or pressured to buy anything that I did not want or felt I needed. And their oil changes are at a fair price. Just $19.99 for a complete, semi-synthetic oil change including a tire rotation. Cant beat that! And when you buy a tire from them, I always ask for the insurance policy on the tire, which is only a few dollars more. That way, in Las Vegas traffic, which is known to have watch glass and many nails due to construction, my tire will be repaired or replaced for free. Ive had to take advantage of this many times while living in Vegas and Ive never regretted the extra small expense of the tire warranty from Superior Tire.

I’ve been here twice, once for an oil change/thermostat repair and the second time for a flat tire repair. I’ve been happy with my service both times. The men working here are always nice, they were accommodating both times when I didn’t have an appointment. As a young woman that doesn’t know much about cars I appreciate that they’re honest and don’t try to upsell me. That’s hard to come by these days. I’m going to continue going to this business for my car related needs.

My experience with good year superior was Awful. I took my 2005 Chevrolet equinox.. in for a standard oil change and 21 point inspection with a coupon I got in the mail, I knew my car had some issues and was expecting them to tell me what I needed done. After the oil change, which was fairly quick, I was told I needed new transmission And Motor mounts but didnt mention anything about my broken Fan blade which needed to be replaced. The next day I embark on a 45 minute (31 mile) journey to a cabin out of town, As Im driving up blue diamond I begin to lose power at around 50 miles an hour and begin to Misfire causing my check engine light to Flash. I pulled over and let my vehicle cooldown. Assuming its the elevation causing my engine To perform like that, I brush it off and head to the cabin. The following day I drove 4 miles before we got to What I would Described as a cobblestone dirt road. Its 3 miles on this dirt road before you get to the beginning of the trail which is what I drove. When I got to the end and was beginning to park, My FR tire got stuck in a rut. Normally in this case you tire just spins and spins Until theres enough traction to move the vehicle. However after about 4 rotations of spinning my tire complete SNAPPED. You might be saying well it is a 2005 vehicle that may be true however I just had this part changed less than 6 months ago. After 4 long hours on the phone and 6 hours of waiting in the desert, A tow truck finally arrived in managed to squeeze down the trail and recover my vehicle without damage. Finally back in town I knew I had to change my axle, And after a friend was helping me work on it he noticed 2 of my 4 spark plugs were Not even in THEY WERE OUT. Now you might say Im speculating but take into consideration I am a delivery driver and make sure my car is well maintained, not to mention after I got my car back none of my fluids were topped off as they should have been.I believe these guys saw my age and demeanor and thought I was an easy Target to make some money and therefore sabotaged me. As professional as they seem They are worse Scam than most little shops I I have been to. If they think you dont know about cars they will try to get you to pay for everything possibly even break stuff on your car to make you pay for it. I need to understand how you inspect my Car 21 points and dont notice 2 missing spark plugs? They know they can get away with it because you have no proof unless you check their kammas which they wont let you

Robert the store manager is really good. What I liked about him is that he gave me A1 service and was ready and willing to answer any questions that I had. They also kept my rotors to show me the damage and that they just werent saying that I needed new rotors to get money. Thats huge when a company does that. That gains big trust!!! I will be going there for all my future needs. Have gone there twice now and have been very pleased. Thanks guys.

I made an appointment for 2 pm. I arrived on time and was told it would be less than an hour. After 40 minutes and my car was still in the parking lot I asked the manager who was talking on the phone to his babe if my car would be done by 3. He informed that he was at the mercy of these guys ( refering to his staff who were standing around talking ) he asked one guy when he would be done he said 10 minutes. He then informed me it would be 30 minutes til my car would finished.Why would I make an appointment ? Because my time is valuable and I live on a schedule.I just lost a client due to this so it cost me money as well.The total disregard for customer service is unacceptable.I drive for a living and I am always asked about services and you can bet your last dollar I will let them know to stay away from Goodyear Superior tire on Sunset in Henderson.

Since I grew up with my father owning an automotive shop, it had been hard finding a place I trust since moving to Vegas. But this is it. Ive taken my car to them twice now and they have proven both times that they are honest and care about their customers. Thank you Shiloh especially for making the experience as stress free and easy as automotive repair can be.

My husband and I knew our breaks needed service and looked in several ads to see if we could find any coupons or deals, this lead us to superior tire on sunset. We were helped by Robert he was very personable and went over all things needed in detail. We were not able to complete job that day Robert was very understanding and said he would keep our info on record in case we had to come back. We did return a few days later and not only did Robert remember us but he was able to help us with pricing. Overall we were very happy with Robert and his team at superior tire☺

1/16/2020Jon was my service tech and Mike was my mechanic. I had LOTS of work done $2,800.00 worth. EVERYTHING was very professional, all the work performed was necessary and Mike did a fine job. The car was ready the next day on schedule and the bill was actually reduced a bit from the original estimate (although parts and labour are expensive i.e. top and bottom radiator hoses about 400.00, diagnostic charge also remained even though the R&R was performed there, which is different in my experience, just saying.) Overall a great no hassle right the first time good experience, with no problems. I do recommend this GoodYear Team for quality automobile work. My car feels GREAT again!!

The former manager at this location was so rude that I decided I would not come back. Then I heard that there was a new manager at the store so I decided to try again.What a difference! The new manager, Adam was so helpful and took the time to explain everything that I needed to ensure I was safe. He was professional and even though he was busy, he smiled and laughed with me, making me comfortable with my spending money. I will be back to see Adam soon!

These guys are great here the the Sunset Road location. Manager Robert knows who I am when I pull in, and gives exceptional customer service. I have been to this shop over 20 plus times in the past few years, and trust that they will give me good prices and get the problems done correctly. I have had a transmission replaced, brakes, rotars, ball joints, struts, oil changes, etc done on my car and everything runs smoothly. Thanks for providing excellent care to my explorer!!!

Ive been to this shop twice and have had really good service. My only problem with auto repair shops in general is the up sell. There was a little up selling going on but when I asked Ken if it was necessary he was honest with his response. I would definitely go back and will recommend Superior Tire to friends.

Wow! this team of guys has it together! They diagnosed my car so efficiently when no one else could. I took it to two other shops and they could not find the problem. Eric and his team were not only efficient, they were friendly and made me feel so comfortable. They did not try to sell me anything I did not need and they explained exactly what was wrong in the way I could understand it. Always welcomed when I come through the door. The team makes sure my car is in shape. My dad believed in them and so do I. They have done a lot of work on my car and Ive never had a major issue. If I do have a minor issue they always take time to check it out and resolve the problem if one is found. I highly recommend them.

My family and I were traveling through and stayed the night in Henderson. Woke up to a flat tire. Superior quickly got to the flat repair with no charge so we could get back on the road.

Great experience here. Had to bring my car in on Monday morning first thing after it was giving me problems Sunday. Jason and Shilo gave me great customer service, friendly and didnt try to make me get things I didnt need. I will bring my car back to them in a heartbeat. Hard to find anyone honest in Vegas sometimes but these guys are trustworthy.

Made an appointment a day ahead of time for just a quick oil change and tire rotation. Was in and out quickly and with great service at a great price. This location is only five minutes drive from my house, and I will definitely be back for my next scheduled maintenance!

Great service. Needed the catalytic converter replaced on my 1999 Honda CRV. Was taken care of. Got to see the progress from the door going out into the shop. Got the help I needed! Was very pleased.

First time that I go to this Goodyear location and the service was amazing !!! I went in for an oil change and Robert was awesome at helping me. I had another issue with my vehicle and he suggested I get this other service done which ended up fixing my problem !!! I genuinely felt like he was being honest and he even gave me a discount on my next service!!! They offer great customer service i would recommend anyone to go to this location !!!

The first time I came here, I was very pleased with the service and the understanding I was shown. They let me know I had a few issues but prioritized which would need to be done first. I came back to them and was helped by another gentleman and it was a horrible experience. In a few short words he basically told me my car was in horrible shape. I had dropped off my car so he called me and let me know I had so many things wrong and he would rather speak in person because it was going to be a lengthy conversation. I take my car routinely to be serviced so to my surprise my car was in horrible shape. I was made to feel like i needed to get EVERYTHING fixed on my car that day. I showed my concern in regards to price and he said well we offer a way to put it on credit. Just felt like a salesman trying to make a sale. I was blown away. When I came to pick up my car he greeted me by saying Im really sorry I had to be the bearer of bad news. I loved the previous service I received. I like the company but I will not be returning to this location again.

The store manager Robert has very POOR customer service - he has a adds on extra parts, extra labor hours, and is very abusive with his language talking to customers. I was quoted one part needed for the repair and labor price over the phone, and when I returned to the location Robert told me that the person that called me didnt know how the business ran and instead double the parts and triple the labor that I was originally quoted. I was ripped off on my bill and had to deny the other work when I was getting lied to with 2 different stories. I cannot return to a place that rips people off, and after what happened today a few people I was sending there to have work done will also not be going there. Save your money and find a reputable auto place as this is NOT one of them, they cannot be trusted! I wish I could rate this a zero it was such a horrible customer experience.FOLLOW-UP: I took my Jeep to another service center. I was correct - the store manager Robert was trying to rip me off. Everything he ADDED on to the phone quote when I walked in was FAKE and did not need repair, only the original phone quote items. RIP OFF ROBERT!

I called Superior by mistake I thought I was calling tire works I asked how much it would be to get transmission flushed he said 149.00 I asked are you sure because someone told me $190.00 he said yes. I went to tire work and said I was quoted a price of 149.00 ti reworks tried to charge me 279.00 once I got there I told them they more expensive than Cadillac. When I got to Superior it was just like he said They were so nice and courtious when I left I was so appreciative that they were sufficient and honest.And so far my car is running fine. Thanks Robert your the best.

I always receive great service when i come in. Not once a problem. Oil changes and inspections are always quick. There is also a very clean and quiet place to sit in while waiting for your car. All the employees are very nice, cheery, and respectful.

Cant trust them!Counter guy We have to align the rear tooFor those of you that dont know, you dont align rear leaf springs dont fall for this trickery and lies.Here is my experience with my 1999 Toyota Tacoma.I replaced all of my suspension components with factory Toyota dealer parts and performance parts. I replaced all new bushings tie rod ends, upper lower ball joints and SPC fully adjustable upper control arms, springs, shocks and struts with about a 2 adjustable lift. I also installed new tires and went to get a quote for an alignment. They took a look at the new components and said It looks like very nice work and said this should be an easy alignment. He went into the computer and gave me a quote of $80 give or take a few cents.In the meantime I replaced my valve cover gaskets and injectors so about 2 weeks went by and I returned to get my alignment done.A different guy was working the counter, looking out the window he immediately questioned if they could even do an alignment because it was not factory tires and had a lift. He called for a mechanic who asked some questions and said okay should not be a problem. The counter guy then without looking anything up said it would be $89.##..I Replied that it was higher than my first quote 2 weeks ago.He replied well we have to align the back tires too so it tracks right, that cost more. I walked out!!!!!!!My truck has rear leaf springs, you do not align rear leaf springs, they bolt together and are not adjustable. There is no aligning rear springs!As I was leaving the mechanic came out and said he would honor the first price, I told him I need to find a place I can trust. I cannot trust someone changing prices and making up stuff.I will never be back and I will warn everyone I know to not be caught in scams like this.I wonder how many people they have fooled.

I went to this shop as my husband had some work done on his vehicle there and was very happy with the service. What seemed to be complicated and super expensive problem in other places, turned out to be quick and easy fix in Goodyear. I got very good service from Robert, he didnt try to upsell me on anything, just pointed out what the problem might be and that was it. Will definitely be back - very recommended place!!!

Shilo and the taller gentlemen where great. However dealing with Robert on the phone is continually unpleasant. No manners nor personable.However. Im giving this place 5 stars. I went to this location for an oil change a few days ago. I usually just go to the dealership for things like that, but this time I was taking in a friends car. I had wonderful customer service from Ken. Not only was the customer service great, but their prices are even better!! I will definitely be returning for future oil changes with my car! :)

I want to retract my last post about superior Goodyear on sunset after talking to the GM Eric he fixed all my problems calmed me down with words of wisdom and had me bring the car back so he could take a look at it himself we found out it was the clutch for my compresser and did business the proper way with great customer service and gave me a great price on the part and installation Ive been a customer here for over 10 years and I will be a customer for years to come Eric was awesome and has my vote so if anyone ever wants to get there car fixed this is the place to go!!! Great spot to get your car fixed up!My car was in really bad shape (breaks were pretty much non existent, issues with transmission, shocks had holes in them, etc.), and these guys got it done in a day and a half and offered a great deal in the process. The new manager, Robert, is a class act guy - super professional and easy to work with.Will definitely be coming back for all my car needs!

So glad I came across this place! I needed a quick oil change during my lunch break and was helped by a great staff. The process was speedy, convenient, and all around wonderful. Will be coming back again.

My husband and I had been hearing our car make violin noises whenever we put the car into reverse. We figured brakes and lo and behold, it was brakes. Robert Head, the store manager, also explained it was only the back brakes that needed attention and that the front were fine to drive on but would need fixed in the near future. He was very honest about the work needing done and pointed out some things that may be an issue in the future. He didnt just explain these things, he physically showed us these problem areas on the car. We were given an amount on the work needed to be done and the amount never changed.Robert was very personable and him & his team took very good care of our car - which has made us future customers for all of our future car needs.

Went in for a brake service. Then the said I had an oil leak charged me 89.95 to steam clean my engine told me to bring it back in a week. After doing so they claimed I had just about every part that had to do with the oil needed to be fixed which. For parts alone was 300. But labor costs 1500.so altogether it wouldve been a 1800.00 job. Decided to wait and get a second opinion. Took it to another mechanic who checked all the parts they claimed needed to be replaced. Told me only one of the 5 things needed to be replaced and a couple other minor things. Which with parts and labor would only cost me $400.00. Its so hard to find honest mechanics in this town and I recommend to get a second opinion before believing anything the guys at good year tell you.... such con artist!!!!!

The mechanic Cam does awesome work. He did the work on my dodge pickup. Then I drove it to Dallas, TX. They pretty much rebuilt the motor and tranny. Did it all in a day and a half. Then right before I left to drive here they did a free follow up inspection. These guys rock.

Just tried this place out for the first time by my neighbors recommendation. They gave very thorough and honest feedback on my vehicle. Its also in a good location so if it ever takes a while you can get good food or even check out a movie by the nearby cinemas.

My car was stolen within 18 hours of having another low tire repaired at this location on Sunday Jan 8th 2017. This car was stolen between 1:30 am and 6:00 am Monday morning Jan 9th 2017.. I had a valet key located in the center console which is how the vehicle was taken from my residence early the next morning. Im NOT blaming anyone at the store and not changing my review as my car has not been recovered but wanted to just share my experience so no one makes the same innocent but stupid mistake I did by leaving any extra keys inside any vehicle being serviced not just at this business but at any auto service store ANYWHERE for that matter. Again, I still appreciate the way I was treated at this location. Im just feeling the pain of having a New White 2016 Subaru Legacy stolen out of my driveway less than 24 hrs after having service completed. My hope is that others might learn from my mistake no matter where you have your car serviced.

They didnt have my tires but didnt offer to call around for the tires and didnt offer an alternative tire I can use on my car .So I went to a competitor who didnt have the brand I wanted for my car but did offer an alternative and they called around on a Sunday and found them, and it was a $300.00 savings Superior on Sunset will never see my business again...

Phone quote different than in person, otherwise a decent experience. Called for a quote on battery replacement and was told $121 w/ free installation. Arrived and was told $149 w/ $15 installation. Not interested in going somewhere else, I had them go ahead and do it. At checkout was told higher price was due to alternate battery style (ok) and they would try to correct whoever was saying no labor on batteries.

Go here if you need any maintenance on your vehicle . Whether it is a simple oil change you might need brake pads or new strutts.I was able to go here and get the brakes on my Escalade instead of going to tge dealership the staff was friendly and made the brake job quick and easy on me thanks.

These guys went above and beyond for us. Im skeptical of all mechanics but they made a believer out of me. After getting suckered at so many other shops before, the guys at Superior Tire made me and my wife feel appreciated in a major way. You need to come here for your mechanical needs. Trust me. Heres my familys story:We had AC problems and thought we needed a simple recharging of the system. They found a crack in the line and told us not to pay for the AC Charge or get it done until we get that line fixed first. They could have simply done the work and waited until it broke again for us to come back. They took the high road of integrity. Then when we couldnt afford the part, they let us purchase our own online and did the install with that. Not all shops will work with you like that.After the install, we still werent getting cold air from the AC. We went back to vent our upsetment and they calmed our fears, reassuring us that they would not charge us anything at all as they sorted out the issues. Turns out, the new AC issue was something all together different, which they fixed for FREE! They spent several hours on my car and did not charge me for it. These people are sharks!! As I sat in front of the T.V. watching the Steve Harvey Show, I heard one customer after the other go to the counter to receive some devastating news. I thought to myself, I bet theyre going to try some scam on me too! Theres NO WAY all those people had so much wrong. They would be driving a MULE otherwise! Sure enough after a while I heard my name...They broke a sensor on my car and then expected me to pay for a replacement. They claimed it was broken when I brought it in, but I straightened them out informing them that the warning light had never been on until they messed with it. They acted surprised. There was NOTHING wrong with my NEW CAR when I drove it in, but after I gave them the keys just to put on new tires, I drove it out with a laundry list of things wrong... Ive still got the paper they gave me telling me what all was allegedly wrong with my car. Now when I took it to another professional, funny how all that just disappeared (with the exception of the sensor they broke) The joke is on them, i wont be back! Those poor single ladies and little old women! Those goons ought to be ashamed of themselves!

They took care of my car and didnt have to wait long. Im satisfied with their service.

Great service, the guys seem very knowledgeable and I definitely dont feel like Im being scammed like some other auto repair shops. Got what I needed done quickly and for a fair price.

Update!!So I had originally gave them 5 stars. Today I go buy an air filter for my car and I discover they didnt put the clamps back down on my air filter after checking. Then I go to see if they reset the oil percentage indicator on my car which is suspended to reset back to 100% after an oil change. What do you know? They didnt reset it. So I had to. At this point I doubt they changed my oil at all. I have a feeling its caused I used a Groupon. Severely disappointed about this place.Original postUsed a groupon voucher for a full synthetic. And when I use Groupon, I worry that I will be given a less than friendly experience at most shops. But these gentlemen were kind. Professional. And quick. They let me know what they would do to further maintenance my 2016 Mustang Eco boost but werent pushy about it. And that is a relief. Would go again.

For tire service at a fair & reasonable price look no further

I want to let the public know that the Manager of this automobile facility was assigned the task of finishing a repair on my car that had gone very bad. Bad to the tune that my car was out of commission for 7 days. I called the main office responsible for the management of several facilities throughout the Las Vegas area and was contacted by a man by the name of Shane who identified himself as the manager overseeing the tire and auto repair shops. After my discontent with the service up to that time he assured me the company would make everything right. He sent me to the Superior Tire and Service facility on Sunset Blvd. He said he would provide me a car to use and to meet with the manager Ken Douglas. I did that and Mr. Douglas assured me he would get my car fixed properly. Also there had been grease on my upholstery and headliner that the other facility had inadvertently placed. To make a long story short, they should make a template of Mr Douglas and fit every manager into the template. This professional fixed my car, listened to my gripes called an informed me as to the progress and then above all had my car detailed, it looks like new, no grease. I represent small business and to me the customer is the most important person in the chain, they pay all the salaries. This manager is the best person I have met in the business world, bar none. He was courteous, understanding and went above and beyond my expectations. You want a good honest deal in Las Vegas, go see Ken Douglas and tell him that he turned around the biggest cynic in Nevada. He will deal with you straight up I can assure you of that. I am very very impressed with Ken and the upper management. Not once did they say I was wrong.

I brought my car in for a simple oil change. After Robert showed me everything that was apparently wrong with my car, I declined because my car had recently been serviced so I know all of that was bullshit. They started on the oil change and then brought me back in a second time to tell me the threads were cross threaded and that I need a new oil pan. A 300 dollar repair. I told them to install a self tapping drain plug so I could get in and out without them trying to rip me off. They complied but made me sign a waiver. I took it to a reputable mechanic and he looked at my threads and said they are fine, and that they installed a Heli coil to cover their asses because they probably were the ones that cross threaded it. After straightening the threads, he put in a new drain plug and now everythings fine. Thanks for trying to rip me off Superior Tire.

We were SUPER nervous about bringing our car in to get fixed because there was a lot wrong with it but we worked with Robert (the manager) and he was AWESOME! This place is amazing and lets you know the immediate issues that they find and the ones that can wait so you dont spend thousands of dollars on things that can wait. Robert broke it down for us and gave his honest opinion and then he took the time make our car work perfectly! We had to leave town while they were working on it and they even locked it inside every night so we didnt have to worry about it. We will be using this location for both cars and for any maintenance issue we have because they are honest and helpful! I would recommend this location to anyone! I already have recommended my friends and family!

I called he said bring car in. I told him I had Groupon for oil change. Drove 11 miles to get there. Then he tells me no one really takes the coupon anymore and Id have to make an appt for another day. So i basically. Wasted gas and time doing a 22 mile round trip for nothing

Back to back weekends my company truck sat there first week they didnt have enough staff For the whole weekend ? 2nd time Jeremy said fleet is closed on the weekends I drop it off Friday so why not call the 2nd if theyre closed why hold my truck until I called sunday should of called me to inform me that fleet isnt open for business on weekends which I called BS cause before Sears who is Far better never had that problem I always drop off on fridays pick up on sunday or if done before hand Ill never ever come to this goodyear again
