Don’t buy a truck from here with aftermarket tires or rims. Doesn’t matter if they put them on or not. They will not rotate or balance the tires. Horrible customer service. Upper management won’t even reply or message me back regarding a complaint. Quite comical to spend 50k on a truck and can’t even get the tires rotated or balanced. Don’t sell the truck if you can’t service it.

Requested oil change only. Was told tires were rotated for free. Picked up my vehicle and halfway home my vehicle shifted hard and the check engine and traction control lights came on. I called the dealership/service department 3 times and no one answered. The call kept returning to the main desk. Will not return. Vehicle will be serviced at another dealership from now on.

They were extremely timely and got the hob done! My only thing is that the truck had a recall for the airbag and they said that they did fix the problem. But when I called and asked why is the airbag warning light is on the guy said that I would have to come back and pay $130 to diagnose why the light was still on.. I figure you should have done that when you replaced the airbag in the first place!!

Could not say enough good things about this dealership. I searched for weeks for the right vehicle and test drove some at other dealerships. The experience at Charles Boyd was by far the best I have ever been through. Found the car on the internet and filled out the form. Got a call the next morning from Charles Hillard as well as a text from one of the sales manager. I spoke with each regarding some concerns they answered every question without issue and were very patient with me. I finally had time to drive the 40 minutes from Raleigh to Henderson and it was worth the drive. Charles even came in on his day off and worked with me and my wife. He reassured my wife on questions she had. Everyone from Charles Hillard to the sales managers and the financial manager were so polite and professional. They bent over backwards to help us out and we walked away with a very nice new to us 2015 Suburban. The staff will make you feel comfortable to be there, nothing like any other dealership I have been too. I have been at four other dealerships in the past few weeks and my experience at Charles Boyd was by far the most impressive. I have taken my 2006 Chevy Colorado and my 2005 Buick Rendezvous to Boyd’s Chevy in Henderson. I have spent thousands of dollars on repairs with them. I have several vehicles so l don’t drive them all the time. But when I get into my vehicles to go somewhere, I have the same problem that I had before I paid them. So they always have an excuse, but I am out of my money, and my vehicles are still in need of repair. I didn’t fall off the turnip truck because it’s takes them 2 or 3 times to fix the problem and I am always charged again. These are my cars that they are repairing, not my husband. I don’t like incompetence. I am a senior citizen, and I don’t need to be broken down on the highway. I will never come back again, And the dealership in Oxford isn’t any.better.

I emailed the dealership on Friday, July 3rd to make sure the vehicle the vehicle I wanted was available. On Saturday morning July 4th stating that the vehicle was available July 4th, the price and asking if I wanted to make an appointment today or tomorrow to come test drive the car. I didnt want an appointment so I just drove up there .( Almost 2 hours) I didnt see anyone. I called the cell phone number on the email and told the salesman I had gotten his email this morning and was there to see the car. He said his boss decided to give the the 4th off this year. I told him that would have been nice to know before I drove 2 hours to see the car. His response was Oh. Very disappointed.

I am 63 years old and bought my 1st new vehicle when I was 19. Over the past 40+ years I have bought new and used vehicles and that number would exceed 50 + vehicles from all brand sellers of vehicles in Raleigh NC area. I spoke with John Cash on Friday afternoon and he had the exact vehicle I was looking for and we pretty much determined a price before I drove from Raleigh to Henderson. He DID NOT try to take advantage of me even though he had what I wanted. I went through the quickest and least effort on my part purchase and loan process to buy that vehicle that day. I bought a SUV from here about 2 months ago and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I had been looking for a new car for awhile and when I saw (the now mine) GMC Acadia there I knew I had to have it. I drove 2 hours to get there and they had it pulled up and waiting for me to look at. Everyone there was so nice and accommodating. We had to say past closing to get all the paperwork done and we didnt once feel rushed or unwelcome at all. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone, It is worth the drive! Took my 2008 hummer in 3 days agoIt had to be jumped off several times. I drove 60 miles to this shop. The lady called me later saying it needed a battery cable. Bill would be 880.00. I told her I did not think that was the problem but she said it cranked without being jump and that was itI went yesterdays to pick it up. My daughter dropped me off and headed out to s Boston for a meeting. I told the young lady again I did not think that was the problem but I took the keys and went to the hummer. It did not cranked. It is still there. I will never go back here.

My daughter and I were on an 18 hour trip to Vermont from Atlanta. My Cadillac threw some errors and became undriveable. We made it to Charles Boyd Cadillac and they took great care of us. They treated us like family and made sure we got back on the road the next day. They took us to a nice hotel across the street and picked us up the next morning when the car was ready. The service center was first class and everyone at the dealership was helpful and extremely nice. I have never had such a great experience despite such a stressful and frustrating situation. Pretty typical dealership. I had contacted them about a 2016 Silverado and they got to within $300 of where I needed to be. Of course, they wanted their doc fee but I refuse to pay ANY fees above my taxes and tags. The negotiations went on for approximately 1 week. One guy would call, then another (manager), then another (super manager), then another (Mr. Boyd), then another (president of managers?). Mr. Boyd was a little snippy on the phone, so I decided then and there that I would not buy from them. I recently reviewed them on another site and mentioned my disgust with their doc fee, and their reply was legally they cannot remove the doc fee from the paperwork. FALSE! I challenge them (or anyone reading this) to find the law that forbids them from removing it, and to show me the value it creates for the customer. NC General Statute 20-101.1 allows for reasonable documentation fees to be charged, but states clearly that dealerships are NOT REQUIRED to charge them. Folks its simple: Dont pay the admin, doc, closing or any other fee of a different name. IT IS PURE DEALER PROFIT AND ADDS TO YOUR MONTHLY PAYMENT! If they say they cant take the fee off their paperwork, or we have to charge you because we charge everyone else, LEAVE. I bought a 2015 High Country with 9,000 miles on it from another dealer who did not charge any fees. If they dont charge fees, then why is Charles Boyd Chevy saying they have to? There are dealerships out there that are willing to do the right thing; just not here. I have continued to ask via Facebook for a call to discuss the doc fee, but they have not.
Bobby Or treated my mother like gold. I personally bought two vehicles because of her experience. The dealership has a great section and well worth the drive. Mr. Boyd is normally walking around the showroom and is very personable.

I took my Malibu in for regular servicing, in addition my key fobs were not working. Of course each time that my car needs servicing, I end up paying an additional 2 to 3 hundred dollars for something they claim is needed. This time wad no different, but I needed it ready for the winter. They claimed new tires were needed, ok, mount new tires (asked for one of the old ones to use as a spare...we threw it away.) Key fobs were not opening all doors, ok (so why program fob and only 2 doors open). The answer I received if the key fob opens the driver door weve done our job. Still shaking my head on that response. I dont understand, why would I pay $185 for new fobs and reprogramming only to have two of the four doors to open and only one fob working. My question was why wasnt I made aware when I picked up the car, his (managers) response She should have told you. Then to make matters worse, I was told, we will fix it without labor charge and you buy the part....cost of part $416 per door.....In all that day, I spent over $1500.00. Ive always taken my car to this dealership, but this is my last time. Upon leaving today after talking with the manager, he had the nerve to say let us know if you want us to repair the doors. I havent been that angry in a long time, but today I could have blown spoke through my nostrils. I guess it is because Im a women, management can tell me anything and I should believe it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TAKE MY VEHICLE TO CHARLES BOYD CHEVROLET OF HENDERSON!!
