Needed my oil changed on 8/13/21 and stopped in here. It was a pleasant experience from the initial greeting and never had to get out of my car. Oil was changed and got air filter replaced since it was pretty dirty and was on my way. I did not time it but would say they probably lived up to the name of 10-minute oil change. The place was bustling and probably waited to enter about as long as the service took. Technician that interacted with me was professional and courteous and did not oversell anything but did make legitimate suggestions on some items which I appreciated. Overall fast, efficient, positive experience.

Quick and easy oil change. In and out in 15 minutes. They do a good job. They check all filters and fill all fluids. The price has gone up a bit.

They were the most professional, courteous, and thorough business I have ever been to. This was my first time at 10 minute. I was most impressed that they verbally stated to each other, and so I could hear while still in my car, each and every step they were doing to complete my oil change. More impressive to me was the coworker in the “pit” below counting out loud when the oil was filled to its level and Kyle bringing me the dip stick to show me. Great supervisor and employees working together!!

The only reason why I am giving them four stars is because when I arrived I asked them if they did inspections. The gentlemen proceeds to say, Yea, but you need to hurry up cause the power has been going in and out. One, I was the only there, so there was need to hurry. Two, if he was joking, it wasnt funny. The other gentlemen and their manager (a lady) were great. More cars pulled up, they got their information and just keep moving them along. I would go there again, prices are about equal to places like Baldrees. They do oil, tire rotations, wipers, and lights. So I would recommend this place to anyone trying to get some regular maintenance done on their cars.

There is a woman who works there . Pretty short Caucasian woman. She was extremely rude, she kept talking over me and giving me attitude about the brand of oil my car takes. It was my second time going there for oil change services . I don’t think I will be going back that’s for sure !

I pulled up, and I may have waited 4 to 5 minutes for someone to come to my window, they took my information and had me pulled up to a bay within 10. He changed my oil and he also put some air in my tires because one was looking low. Most days you are in and out but today they were very busy so it was a bit of a wait. They are good about not trying to up sell you, they may suggest that you need something done but with no pressure.. so I will definitely be back again..

If I could no stars I would the guy slammed the hood on my antique Ford truck so hard Im surprised it opened again. I swear it looked like the guy tried to do a Shaquille ONeal slam dunk on my hood. I told him you dont have to slam my hood...O my bad.

I needed an inspection before going in to work and I was very pleased that my wait time to be served was only about 10 minutes and my wait for the inspection was about the same. I had time to stop for breakfast on the way to work. The young man at the counter was pleasant and efficient in processing my payment. Ill be back for other services soon.

Head Service Technician was super polite and knowledgeable. He was honest about the condition of filters, wipers and tires, and explained what should be considered for replacement and why. His professionalism is something to be commended.

I was very pleased with the service. Everyone was polite and professional. I would only make one suggestion. I meant to ask but I forgot. If a top off is provided between oil changes, this and any other services offered with a full service oil change should be explained to the driver before they leave. Other than that it was a great experience.

This was the best experience I have had getting an oil change. It was nice that I did not have to exit my car. Just pulled up over the ramps, shut the car off and relax. This was a plus because I had my children in the car, one who was a newborn. The lady who acted as the customer service rep told me she topped my fluids off and she showed me how to reset my oil change indicator before I left. Thanks so much for the speedy oil change and great service.

I went for a NC inspection. They were very quick. Jessica was awesome in handling my inspection. I was low on brake fluid and I filled it up and she rechecked my car so I wouldnt have to wait. She was very kind. I highly recommend this business.

Ive been to Strickland Brothers many times for state inspections and oil changes. Recently I stopped by to get my tire plugged because a screw was lodged in it. I was promptly greeted and I was out of there in less than 20 minutes. I love that Strickland hires women. The lady that plugged my tire knows her stuff! Im always pleased with the quality of work at Stricklands.

Went for oil change and inspection. I was the only person there when I showed up but by the time they were done with oil change there was a long line. Have to change bays for state inspection and I was ushered out of the bay that makes money then had to wait a second time for an inspection. Then a few days later I started noticing oil puddles in my driveway and upon inspection the whole oil pan is covered with oil. This vehicle has never had one drop of oil leak prior to this visit. Upon further inspection the oil filter used was generic and extremely small like it should be on a 4 cylinder motor. I have a HEMI..... I payed for a full synthetic oil change and for the price this is unacceptable. If I wouldn’t t have checked under the car and was someone that just enjoyed the convenience of someone else changing my oil I would be fooled into thinking they were doing a great job and this was a good value.

I’m not sure this way of service, sitting in your car the whole time with the engine off, will work in August when it’s 100+ degrees. It was 80 and I was getting warm by the end of the oil change. You have to keep your window down to because they ask you quite a few questions trying to sell you filters, windshield wipers, showing you the oil on your dipstick they just put in etc.I gave 4 stars but if it would have been about 2 months ago it would have probably been 1 or 2Also they changed their oil from Havoline to Valvoline and the price went up $5 an oil change and they no longer vacuum like they use to. The employees were great though!

I had a great experience at this location. The wait was extremely short for a Saturday, and I did not have an appointment. Most importantly, the process felt safe. I was able to sit in my car while the mechanics changed my oil. During the process, an attendent gave me detailed information. My payment was also processed while I was in my car.

I have gone here for almost five years for my oil changes, about every three months. Ive never had a problem before, but Ive gone twice this year since the new owners have taken over, and both times the engine ran what seemed to be rougher after than before the oil change. The second time, it took over an hour of waiting and service time, and didnt feel like the engine had an oil change when I left, it was disappointing to me that I couldnt feel the engine response improvement I usually would get from an oil change, and this time within 30 minutes of leaving the shop, I had a maintenance required light, engine check light, and TCS light all

Went to this drive through lube to get a state inspection, got my car done and it was sprinkling. Two cars ahead of me took meat longer than advertised time to get a service done which isn’t a big deal. What is a huge deal is my husband waited two cars behind me to get an inspection done also and when it was his turn they could no longer do inspection because the apple system on tablet had gone down so we sat there and still ended up having to go to another location, spending our money there for the inspection and extra gas to get there not mentioning how long of a wait it was. I’m gonna say right around 30min smh not ok and not professional at all to not even offer us to come back the next day with discount nothing so to myself and family and friends this is not good business. Other than that very nice employees, they were working pretty hard which is great to see, and were very polite about situation. Thank you for your time and I would still probably rate this company a 6-7

This was my first time using SB. I was 5th in line with 2 oil change bays full and 1 inspection bay full. I was there for a total of 55 minutes which wasnt bad considering how busy they were. The staff was polite and professional and didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt need. They showed me my air filter and explained it was clean and did not need to be changed at this time. The tech triple checked my oil level once the service was complete.The only thing I didnt like was, one of techs leaned on my car to read the VIN. Considering my car is new with beautiful black paint I was concerned the techs buttons on her shirt would scratch the paint. She didnt scratch the paint but she definitely could have.The price was about $10 more than the same type of shop 20 mins away in Morehead City. I did receive a $10 coupon so no biggie there.I would definitely return to SB for another oil change.
