Brought my truck here for two things so far - a new clutch and a new motor, since Sanders Ford in Jacksonville wouldnt take responsibility for the garbage they sold us! Very helpful staff, always calls when the parts are in, always gives updates on how the repair is going, and very upfront about cost. No BS, no trying to overcharge, or throw extra charges in there. Would highly recommend Gear Headz to anyone!

Long story short, my car broke down on the way to Atlantic Beach from Greenville. I got my car there not even 30 minutes before closing on a SATURDAY. The owners son worked on my car despite the fact and they got me back on the road that day. If there are any good people left in the world, they are the epitome of them. Best Mechanic Shop in Havelock! If you are looking for honest techs with reasonable prices this is the place to go. I recommend everyone to give them a try.

Please people dont be stupid and stay away! This is a Marine trap garage. Go on base and work on your car or pay the extra and get it done right somewhere else. This place is in the process of being blacklisted for a reason. I personally know 5 Marines that they have broken their cars or fix stuff that was not even the problem in the first place. Just ask them about the white Camaro with red stripes they burned a while ago.

Great Business, The Cherrypoint Garage cant even do alignment on a old 85 with the hunter alignment machine yet 3 other shops off base get her straight, just shows that the techs are not trained well

Great place and fixed my check engine light issue so I could pass inspection.

Took my car to get transmission solenoids changed, when i went to pick it up they told me 1 of the 9 solenoids was shot for sure. Took the car home after 150 spent in vain. After i got a new solenoid to replace it myself, upon further inspection, found out not only they broke the solenoid connector, they broke a bolt that connects the valve body to the transmission hence why the solenoid dint work also found sealant paste alover the inside of the valvebody. My car is currently sitting in my garage broken thanks to gear headz letting a new inexperience guy work on my car. Trying to contact them to get refund but always get a will get back to you later reply. No word so far its been a week, looking to take legal action soon.

Paid out almost 500 worth of brake work and its been less then a month and they are rubbing again already

This place is horrible. My clutch went out in my car . They had it for a week got it back the master cylinder and head cylinder went out within an hour of having it . Had it for a night had to take it back in because I couldnt get in in gear. They said there was still some air in it so they fixed it needless to say 2 weeks later we are having to take it to a different shop for the same problem. $3,000 later.

BadWent to get inspected and it failed and then went back still didnt past and then went somewhere else and it passed with NO PROBLEM

Inconsiderate of the customers time. Does not communicate with the customer with status of vehicle. Extremely slow.
