About a month ago my girlfriend was looking at a new Ford Bronco that Valenti happen to have on their lot. As we entered the dealership we were greeted by the entire staff. Quickly and swiftly a salesmen by the name of Simon approached us. He introduced himself and thanked us for coming. We explained we wanted to see the Bronco. With no delay Simon stated he’d go get the keys and the paperwork. He made sure to offer us coffee and water as we waited. Simon’s knowledge about cars was like no other. Even tho they aren’t a Ford dealership, he went through the car head to toe with every fine detail. Simon then sent us off for a test drive and in the meantime while we were gone he gathered all paperwork and information we were going to ask for when we returned. We’ve never experienced such a humble knowledgeable guy who made you feel at home. Never once did he pressure us or make us feel uncomfortable or forced to buy anything. When it came to buying the car he explained every single detail down to the penny. There was no surprises and always kept his word. What a fantastic experience! I am now the proud owner of an amazing 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia in Mizano Blue (the best color). About 2 weeks ago I was shopping around for a new vehicle to trade my little Hyundai Veloster N towards and happen to notice that a preowned BMW 230ix was at the Valenti Alfa. I showed up unannounced to the dealership and was promptly greeted by sales consultant Simon Green. He informed me that the BMW I was interested in was unfortunately sold that morning. While we were in the showroom at Alfa, I commented on the 2021 Giulia in Rosso Red sitting pretty next to me. I suddenly found myself in a conversation with fellow car lover Simon. I mentioned that I loved the lines and look and that is was simply the best looking sedan on the market. Simon showed me all the details that harken back to Alfas earlier days and provided some facts about the drivetrain. We chatted for a bit and he asked me what I was looking for in a vehicle and why I was interested in a BMW 230. I informed him that I was seeking that perfect mix of class and performance, something that could be fun on the backroads but a joy to spend a few hundred miles in as well. He informed me that I must drive an Alfa before buying or considering a BMW because the Alfa will make the German cars feel boring. I had not realized that the preowned Giulias were actually in my price range ($30k) and that they had a few CPOs on the lot. I was immediately drawn to the beautiful 2017 Blue RWD Sport on the lot and a few moments later Simon took down my info and tossed me the keys. He told me to go feel how it drives and to take my time so I could see if the Alfa was right for me. It was the such a pleasant no pressure approach that I truly appreciated. I was able to just see if the car worked and matched up with what I want. No forcing me to go through a credit check or talks of payments first, just pure respect for me, my time and what I was looking for. After the test drive, I returned to the dealership, got a quote on my trade in and talked a few numbers. I was really not ready to pull the trigger that day and told Simon I just wanted to sleep on it. There was not a bit of aggressive pushy behavior, he just told me no problem and to call him soon because product was moving and if I loved it he did not want to see it sold before I got a say. Needless to say, I called the next day and placed a deposit. When I ultimately came in fill out the credit app and such, I was walked through every department, met the service manager, saw the garage and work area and even was afforded a chance to discuss the details of the Certified Preowned Process. I got every detail I requested provided and was informed of all expected maintenance. This was exactly what I wanted and needed to feel confident about my purchase. On the final pick up day, I was walked through all my paperwork. The sales manager did not try to jam a tire warranty package down my throat like so many other dealerships often do. He explained my options and described the details and when I declined he moved on, after my horrible last purchase experience on the Veloster, this was a welcomed approach. I signed all necessary documents and was good to go. I put about 500 miles on the car over the first week cause I love it and it is perfect. Simon even included a really cool Alfa keychain that I had jokingly requested at my first visit. Simon and everyone at Valenti Alfa Hartford were pure class from start to finish. I know this is a long review but in this day and age with so many industries moving pure online and removing much of the service aspect, it deserved to be recognized. Thank you to the full team for the respect, attention and patients with my 1000 questions about the car. If you are into cars and have not drove a Giulia yet, then get down there and check them out. Just dont forget to ask for Simon!!

No loaner car for a warranty repair, really??? This is a dealership for goodness sake, there are cars everywhere . Also the shuttle was out of state for a registration so there was no option for me to get to work other than Uber or a coworker. If this was BMW or Mercedes I would have been to work 2 hours ago.They did fix my problem however and the waiting room is nice.

At every one we felt pressured and had to haggle over every $ to get subpar offers. We worked with John before our visit and he gave us a deal (looking back this beat all competition), he then said (not me) hes not happy with that number and came back hours later with something that seemed unreal. After the test drive it was a simple YES. We never felt pressured, we were never left waiting while he had to talk to his manager to see what he could do, overall the whole experience was great!

I purchaesd my Alfa Romeo from Alex Johndro at Valenti. I worked with Alex getting the deal done, everything was smooth and painless. We worked a deal over the phone and I traveled down to Hartford from Boston to sign paperwork. Everything was ready when I got there as promised, I was in and out as promised with no delays. Today I took delivery of the car. Alex made arrangements to deliver the car to me in Framingham saving me another trip down to Hartford. He met me at our agreed upon drop off on time as promised and took the time while there to give a complete tutorial on the car front to back and answered every question I had. Great service department, sub par waiting room, expensive. To their credit, the parts department did match tire prices from Town Fare, but why were they almost $ 300 higher in the first place? $ 75 to turn off the oil change light? Take a lesson and spend a day at Miller Motors to learn about customer support.

It’s hard to find a good dealership these days especially when looking for used vehicles but I can happily say that it was worth the drive from New York. I worked with Geno (Eugene) and we were both able to come to a deal that worked out good for the both of us. Was treated like family from the moment I arrived. A lot of dealerships will give this treatment just to get you out the door but when I did have a minor issue with the used vehicle Geno and his manager were quick to work with me and make everything right. This was hands down the easiest car purchasing experience my wife and I have ever had. We knew we wanted a Stelvio, but after some issues with a local dealership here in NYC, we came across our new vehicle. When I inquired whether the vehicle was still available, Alex Johndro confirmed it was available and worked with me completely over the phone and email to put us in our car. Literally, all we had to do was show up, sign the paperwork, and drive off the lot with our new car. Honestly I am not impressed. The show room itself is anything but impressive. It looks like it’s stuck in the 90s without updates. The Stelvio was nice performance wise, but the interior lacks innovation. The sales rep kept insisting this is the best SUV in its class. I brought up simple things I noticed like no vented seating or not even having a touch screen. The sales rep replied with, this is engineered by Ferrari, so you know it has a great engine. That’s wonderful and all but I’m speaking of interior qualities. Don’t tell me Ferraris today don’t have touch screens. The both the sales rep AND manager insulted both my personal vehicle and my company provided vehicle. It doesn’t take a genius to realize you don’t insult a customer in any way if you want to make a sale. It’s common sense. I would suggest learning a different approach to sell the product, not everyone falls to a bully. Overall for a luxury grade brand of vehicles I had anything but a luxury experience. Performance great, interior details - missed the mark. It’s nit for me.Maybe in the future I’ll consider looking into Alfa Romeo, but it will certainly be at another dealership.
