I was highly dissatisfied with the customer service I received at Liberty Honda. I was quoted a different price prior to servicing my vehicle than what I actually paid. The employee I dealt with was very unprofessional and was not willing to assist me in a positive manner.
I was very interested in purchasing a Pilot Elite from this dealership. The car had been certified but then removed from that status so they could lower the price. I asked for the car to be put on a lift so I could do an undercarriage inspection. When the service department put it on a lift they called me over to look at it. While Im looking underneath, I noticed that the car was incorrectly lifted on its body panels and not its designated lift points. After bringing it to their attention, TJ a service manager assured me that this was perfectly normal. I highly doubt, causing damage to an almost brand new car is normal. Anyway, I was still entertaining the idea of going ahead with the sale, granted they certify the vehicle at no additional cost, but they declined. I went there that day ready to purchase, regardless of the final costs, but the way this situation was handled made me pull my deposit and take my business else where. What bothered me the most was the fact how these professionals blatantly said the way the car was lifted was normal and once the car would be off the lift the kinks on the body would go away over time. 😂 Not exactly a pleasant or assuring experience.

We have been a long standing customer of Hyundai and recently visited Liberty Honda seeking alternatives. Customer service was superb. We scheduled a last minute appointment on a Sunday afternoon and staff was very accommodating. Daniel and Ibrahim stayed with us for about 90 minutes after closing time to help us choose the vehicles and options that would be most suitable for us. The trade-in value we were offered on our old vehicles exceeded other offers we’ve had from alternate dealers. Even days after visiting the show room, Daniel was instrumental in making the leasing process smooth and extremely easy. He even sent us photos and videos of a model we had not seen during our visit and became interested in. Few days later, we walked out of the show room leasing 2 SUVs, with great satisfaction. I went to get a oil change and I got my car back with 3 lights on it😑when I asked for manager he is going to say it’s because “my car is old” and it has a lot of mileage on it, I felt as if I was being played. later on I went to another place to fix my car AGAIN and the people told me that Honda employees unplugged the wires and did not plug it back it in. Hence all the lights being on my dashboard being on. furthermore these people are unprofessional and they are scammers 1out of 10 would not recommend.

Bought a 2018 Acura TLX from this dealership. That in itself became a mismanaged ordeal. I waited at my bank for half a day waiting for them to email me the info needed to bring them a check for the car. They then told me if I couldnt make it to their dealership by my allotted time that I wouldnt be helped... great service. So the next day I went to pick up the car, the salesman tried adding fees that were not discussed after specifically asking the final purchase price before driving 3 hours there. Upper-management sorted that out amicably. They sold me coverage to protect my cars rims etc, without telling me that the policy would not actually cover my rims. They basically stole $500 from me that day. Beware.To the response from liberty:I made this review after contacting your office. I had talked with Tom S. For over a month about this issue to which he lied about speaking with the owner. He told me he was going away for a few days and would contact me after he returned. After a week went by I contacted their office and was informed he moved on to another dealership. They had no info about my issue. They never tried to resolve it either. They do not care about treatment of customers.
Had to get a light bulb fixed prior to my vacation. I was able to get scheduled while I was there very convenient, felt like home loved the quick work and environment. The pricing is equivalent to my home dealership in Ohio.

Bought a certified Honda Civic 1.5 years ago. Since then, I’ve done every service at the dealership. As usual, I brought my car in for an oil change on 3/19 at 12 pm. My back tire had a nail and was leaking air. They couldn’t fix it, so the only tire they had “available”was a $140 Goodyear one. I asked them to mount the spare one and I would get it done elsewhere.Once I got the bill, I saw they had charged me $24 for mounting the spare tire. I was not told the price before hand. I think that’s just ridiculous for a process that takes 40 seconds.So disappointed, I will not be returning for getting my oil changes OR buying another car from Liberty Honda in Hartford.

Hard to admit I had a great dealer purchase experience. John Cunningham was an outstanding salesperson and I highly recommend him. Prior we saw Liberty had good reviews and we made the trip from north Jersey for this particular vehicle. Havent shopped for a car in years and this was a refreshing experience. Robert Pachesa was knowledgeable and he and the rest of the staff were pleasant and no-nonsense.
I dropped off my car the night before. Early the next morning, my Service Advisor, Chloe, called to confirm the services to be performed. She called again later to advise that there was another issue. She fully explained the issue and offered options that I could easily understand. Chloe was awesome - very helpful, informative and professional!
A tip: Make sure you pull your own credit report on your cell phone to show them rather than having them pull your credit. They advertise all these special programs to help anyone. I was told Previously that having fair credit, a low score, or even being a first time buyer - as long as I have a job for awhile now, including a substantial down payment, they would help me lease or finance a car. Now that I have been turned down, I have not ONE inquiry, but THREE inquiries from Honda company(s) on my credit report which does not help. I believe that better communication should improve between the staff and their banks, as well as living up to what they advertise to help everyone.

Much better results when scheduling ahead. I will never just drive in and wait again for anything. They need a frequently updated, accurate, online system reporting current wait times for customers who cannot afford to wait 2 or more hours. I never would assume a short wait. The last repair was for a Liberty recommended fix on a 2013 Accord. The car was dropped off at the scheduled 9:00am appointment time. Picked up at 1:00pm and pricing was as promised. No issues.

My experience at Liberty Honda was hassle free, stress free, and so enjoyable! James was my salesperson and if you are looking to get a new car I HIGHLY recommend going through him. Even though I choose a CRV at Liberty he was willing to go out of his way to pull cars I liked from their sister dealership. He explained each feature of my 2020 CRV to me one by one which was amazing because I never would have figured them out on my own. Our financing process was incredibly quick and he helped me get it done early online which meant we didn’t have to wait around for hours to get approved. I loved that! He went above and beyond to keep the whole process seamless. Management is amazing and they made sure to thoroughly explain everything we signed and checked to make sure we understood everything. They communicated with complete transparency from start to finish. Liberty Honda definitely has a lifelong customer now!

The Team goes above and beyond in making sure that you are completely satisfied with any repairs and or maintenance. They keep you apprised of what is going on and work with you if issue does arise. The service department here is top notch and One of the reasons I am confident in keeping my car for hundreds of thousands of miles as long as they are servicing it!

I came to liberty Honda back in July 2019 I met with John. I wanted to just talk to see what i could afford and what were my options and how much I needed to save. John was amazing he answered every question I had gave me scenarios and encouraged me. I have only bought one car in my life and the first experience was not pleasant. Pro: Easy to make service appointmentsCons: Very disappointed with the service I received here and with Honda. A loyal service customer for 2 years and had an issue with my new car. They said I needed new tires due to cupping and repeated over and over again that I had missed service on the vehicle. They blamed me for the issue. When I arrived I asked them to pull up my service records and the associate saw that I had not missed any service on my vehicle, he called over his supervisor who continued to blame me on missing service, or denying service. When he pulled the records he was proven incorrect, but did not help in anyway. When I drove away I noticed they did not fix one of the issues I went in for. Will not be returning to this dealer and traded my Honda in less than a month later.
They were quick and efficient. Chloe was very sweet and amazing. I am happy I took my car there in such short notice because I wouldnt have gotten my car fixed as fast otherwise.

IF YOU WANT TO BUY A BRAND NEW CAR AND HAVE THEM SCAM YOU FOR DEFECTIVE PARTS WITHIN 5 DAYS OF PURCHASE THEN THIS IS YOUR DEALERSHIP. The only star I will give this place for the lovely saleswoman Lauren who was the kindest and least aggressive car salesperson I have ever encountered. Once I purchased my brand new 2019 Accord I no longer got to deal with Lauren but instead got the business and sales managers. Within a week of buying the car one of my tires was loosing pressure no matter how often I filled it. After calling Liberty somehow my car was towed to another Honda service center and they charged me 200$ for a new tire stating it had a slice in it. This is after I spent two days filling it with air checking for nails and slices and saw nothing!!! LIBERTY HONDA has done nothing to try and help me. BRIAN from Liberty tried to explain to me how tires get holes like I am some idiot instead of offering any assistance with dealing with the Honda repair center. I even had to get the car towed with my own AAA insurance. Call me crazy but if someone spent almost 30,000 on something they purchased from me, I would be concerned with anything that happened to that item within the first month but especially the first week. Plenty of places to buy Hondas from....... skip this place.

I bought a Honda Odyssey EX-L from them in 2016. Along with the purchase I took the ResistAll NG Protection plan with the promise that any normal wear and tear would be covered under the plan. This was not true. When discussing with the ResistAll NG Protection team I came to know none of the benefits that the representative described were actually true. The sales representative gave us false promises on the plan and made us purchase it. The only reason why we bought the protection plan was because he mentioned that the car seats could be changed anytime we wanted(no questions asked).Anyone who reads this please do not purchase their EasyCare or Resist All Protection plans. It is not worth it. Most of the coverages will be covered under your insurance plan. Most importantly read the plan coverage exclusions first to understand what will not be covered.They will try to push you to take these plans because they get more commission if the plan is sold.
John was very helpful and accommodating in checking out my car even though I did not have an appointment. This was my first visit here and I was impressed at the level of customer service and how well organized the area was. The waiting room is comfortable, as well. Highly recommend.
Came in today for an oil change. They told me it’ll take about a hour or so to fix. About 45 mins or so later, the car was fixed and I was all set. Such great and professional service from Chloe and the staff this morning. Very much appreciated! :)
This review is specifically for Ryan with the financial department. We also worked with Robert P. and Michael P. and they were easy to work with. Michael, in particular, was very patient and we enjoyed working with him. Ryan was very difficult to work with. I think there is another financial guy, Tom (?) there. I would suggest working with him. We followed up with Bank of America directly before and after meeting with Ryan and they are concerned with the false information they are providing their customers. Ryan specifically said that he will go to jail if he follows the instructions provided to us directly by Bank of America. This was of course concerning to all parties involved. Because he wasnt willing to work with us my mothers credit got hit twice only for us to get yet another confirmation that that was not necessary. Its done now but the condescending way he spoke with us was almost the worst part. He made us feel as if we were trying to steal something from him or pull a fast one on him when I am the one purchasing a $30k car.
From the moment I called to the moment I left with my new car the service and attention to detail was superb. Devyn was great, she was very courteous and her customer service skills were outstanding. Devyn and her team did a great job in keeping the process going and made it seem very easy. There was no daunting sales pressure what so ever. In fact i felt right at home. Great job guys! So far so good. Theyve been generally good to us since we bought our Odyssey there. My only complaint is that service appointments often feel to take as long as walk-ins and that they no longer do the 1st dent free repair that they advertised when we bought our Odyssey so my dent remains...

When I entered the bay, the service person, Ryan Hicks greeted me promptly. He was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He was patient and listened to my questions and clearly explained the details and cost of the work done on my car. I am very pleased with the outcome of my service visit at Liberty Honda.
This was a morning of pleasant surprises. I arrived just after 7:00 a.m. to facilitate my non-appointment oil change prior to another morning appointment. The staff was courteous and efficient, explaining the details of the dashboard needs-attention code and telling me the total price. In the waiting area a staff member came over to let me know that the coffee was ready. Got out in record time with all issues taken care of.
I been a customer of Liberty Honda for couple years, purchased 3 cars and my family use the service/parts department, but we wont go back anymore, I had couple issues with 2 of the cars and they didnt wanted to fix it, after I purchased the most expensive coverage. In December 17th 2016 I purchased one of the Honda accord, and they told me you dont have to worry about the car just the cosmetics

Made an appointment to have a recall on my CRV taken care of. When everything was completed, I was called and notified. When I went into Honda to pick up my car, I wasn’t exactly sure where to go. I walked into the Service Floor and a woman noticed I looked lost. She was super helpful, sweet and pleasant. She asked me what my last name was, and immediately I thought, “how is that going to help? Like you’re going to know which car is mine based on my last name?” I told her, and she immediately knew everything about my car and what had been done. Mind you, this was a Saturday. Probably one of their busiest service days. Anyways, I got my paperwork and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. And on top of that, the associate informed me that my car should have been washed, and if it wasn’t, let her know so it could be. I’ve never had a more pleasant experience at a dealership in regards to getting my car serviced. Chloe, thank you for your smile. You are the true definition of customer service!
I had the wonderful good fortune and pleasure to deal with Charmaine at Liberty, who helped me through every step of the purchase of a great new pickup. Highly recommended. Would do again ... someday, but give me a few years to enjoy the new truck first.

I’ve been a customer for many year, since 2008 or so. I’ve bought a new and a used car at Liberty Honda over the years, and only go here for service. Had Chloe as my service technician today, and have had her several times in the past. I appreciate her concern for customer care!
