Absolutely horrible, was sold a van the owner knew had transmission issues and was not told. Now refuses to answer our phone calls. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
Do not buy anything from here.my daughter did and has nothing but problems with the vehicle. Tried to call and talk to them they hung up and wont answer my calls guess Im contacting the Better business bureau
Came in to look at a vehicle I saw advertised and was turned off by the female there. Flirting doesnt sell cars, and you look like you do drugs.. and after reading a few reviews, I feel like I dodged a bullet with a hidden rust bucket.
I purchased a car from them at the end of March. They claimed it was in perfect condition. From the beginning it was nothing but issues. As I drove out of the lot the check engine light came on. We took it back and they said when they cleaned it water got into the sparks so they replaced those. Then I got back into my vehicle and pulled off and again the light came back on. They said it was from when they washed the car and some water but it would go away. I took the car to school and it died. I brought it back after a jump and they said the battery was fine. The next day I had to go buy a new battery because it died completely and wouldn’t jump. Since then the check engine light would come on and off, said it was a transmission sensor and that it is fine. Fast forward to the 7 months I had the vehicle, the transmission blew. 2800 spent on this vehicle for it to not even last a year. Very disappointed.
Listen to the 1 star reviews. Scam artist. Tried covering up the known issues. Wasnt expecting me to come early and know about cars. If you are so desperate that you have to, then make sure to take it down the road to have it inspected. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!
Don’t buy from this GUY!! Even if all the vehicles on his lot are in good body shape. So Whatever vehicle you’re interested talk him down as much as you can! A lot. He buys all his vehicles from Local dealerships at auction. Dealerships are selling the vehicle because it cost too much to fix, that’s why they’re up for auction. If you are interested in a vehicle pay the 45 bucks and have a local mechanic physically look over the vehicle 100%. He will tell you everything that is wrong with it and keep looking.
Purchase went well but have had nothing but issues since I purchased vehicle. Bought in December 2019 and have less then 9000 miles on it since purchase and have since had to replace almost the whole suspension wheels bearings in front were shot, front and rear endlinks, tie rods, front and rear shocks, lower control arms cause bushing and ball joints were shot, and heat didn’t work well cause coolant was about half gallon low. Inspection sheet showed all these things as marked off as good.. I had three different mechanics looks at these things and all said why didn’t the person doing inspection see all this was bad it just don’t go in 90000 miles.. I’ve been replacing parts since March on it.. repairs if done at shop would be costing over $3000 almost half what vehicle cost. Being used I expect a few things needing to be fixed but coming from a place that has them inspected I’d expect more.. dot. Recommend buying from here take the hit spend a little more and go to better place
Came in looking for a car my son has his eye on. Took it out for a test drive. Everything was great! Ran good, no issues, very clean. Help us get him financed in the vehicle for himself. Would highly recommend TL Motors! They are not the typical pushy salesmen here just trying to get that sale for the day like other places do. Its been just over a month and my son is still happy with his car as the 1st day he drove it home! Very helpful friendly people here. They listen to you and what you want. We appreciate all they did for us!
Going to be honest here... Bought a Grand Prix here...Carfax looked good no accidents etc...After replacing the headlights and seeing the quarter panel and slightly off color on the hood it was for sure in an accident(s).... The brights were stuck on struts were 100% shot bad and the rears had the wrong ones on so the tires rubbed the shocks... the engine had some leaks i had to fix the control arms were shot. The sway bar was broken the rear caliper was sticking.... All these items were marked good on the window sticker... lucky he did go down alittle on the price but being a mechanic doing my own work it costed me well over $1000 in just parts and me doing all the work to make this car a safe car to drive on the road then I needed an alignment too obviously. It also has some odd steering clunk (not tie rods) I think from the steering rack column possible shot joint... The key doesnt work for the door and there is no trunk key hole and the fob was junk which I fixed by soldering. The rear window was once smashed out before I bought it because there were glass chunks everywhere I had to clean up under seats rear strut area and pieces on the rear speakers which made it sound like blown rear speakers bouncing on the 6x9 cones. If you buy a car here have it inspected please he has no lift otherwise I would have noticed all this and would have not bought it... He seemed like a nice guy but I mean all salesmen kind of have to be lol. It would have been a decent deal if the car didnt have so so so many problems lucky I am a mechanic otherwise it would have needed at least $3000 in work right off the lot with cheap replacement parts...
My family got a car from this dealer and 3 months later found out the whole frame of the car is rusted and one large pothole or bump can cause the floor to cave in. It wasnt listed as a known issue in fact the window facts had white out over the checked box. When we called the owner said nothing can be done, we shouldve known before the 3 months.. according to the state we can fill out paperwork and get the government involved.. Horrible Horrible company. DO NOT buy your car from here. They are as shady as one can get!
We purchased a car from a here a few months ago and were very happy with the process. It was below zero when we were doing test drives. Even though no one in Wisconsin wanted to be outside that day, Scott was patient with us and not at all pushy.
I bought a car for a good price and cant complain. My issue is that they reported the car as perfect condition no issues but i got it and ended up needing more than just a few things repaired at least they covered most of it
We bought a great clean car at a great Price. Scott was easy to work with and not pushy! Would definitely buy another car from TL Motors!
Not long ago, I bought what I thought to be the perfect compact SUV from Scott. It had everything I was looking for, and since my family and I have bought cars from him before he gave it to me for a decently low price. Looking back now, I should have known it was too good to be true.Scott never gave me the vehicle safety inspection checklist normally found on used cars, but I figured this was because I had bought the car before he officially priced it and put it on his lot. I WILL NEVER MAKE THIS MISTAKE AGAIN. I trusted Scotts word that the vehicle was safe, and that he made all necessary repairs. Fast forward to now. The vehicle has gotten a new battery (roughly $200), a gas tank since the one mine had was leaking (roughly $800), new brake lines (roughly $500), and now I will be needing to spend about $1,200 on the power steering rack.Dont make the mistake I did by trusting Scotts word. ALWAYS have an auto shop take a look before buying. Not even a few weeks after the 30 day warranty was up, I called up Scott and we discussed all of the issues. Not only did he try to make me feel stupid for not coming to him at the start of my problems, he made NO attempt to help with repair cost. He did offer to have his mechanic make the repairs, but frankly cost was about the same. Also if this was the same mechanic inspecting my car initially, I frankly dont trust his work or his word.Long, story short. Very saddened and disappointed.
Typical used car dealership. Must use caution when purchasing a vehicle here. If its a way better deal than anywhere else youve seen, its probably too good to be true. This will be the last time I try a place like this because Ive been burned everytime. If you must rely on your vehicle because your family relies on you, then steer clear. No pun intended.
Sold us a car claiming it to be in perfect working condition. In reality it was in desperate need of several repairs, none of which he was willing to cover the cost of. CON MAN
Fast friendly service they made sure we were satisfied. Great prices we are happy wirh our purchase
Cars are clean and affordable. They stand behind everything they do. Love our Ford Escape!
Had a great experience buying my car from TL motors! Joe and Scott were great to work with and helped me from start to finish. I never felt pressure and I drove away with a great and safe vehicle! I got all the maintence records from the car in the glovebox. Good deals on good vehicles, with good ol’ car guys!
We recently bought a decent 2007 Chevy Trailblazer from Scott. We did due diligence and researched the year and vehicle and found it to have a 4.7 star rating. We should have done a CarFax search tho, because we didnt know, until we made the 2-1/2 HR drive, that it had been involved in 2 minor accidents. Lack of this disclosure in their ad made me reduce one star. We took the truck to Westside Auto Center, LLC (HIGHLY recommend them!) and they did a VERY thorough inspection. The truck isnt perfect, but Westsides inspection showed nothing major wrong and so we bought it. Long drive for us, but so far it was worth it.
I had a really great experience with Scott. I love my car he sold us today 12/18/18 thanks
Nice mom and pop dealership. Got a car I didnt think I could get financing but they made it happen.
Sold a vehicle with the sub frame rotted out, if you care about your safety I wouldnt go to ton this dealership
All I have to say is that I wont spend my money there.
Absolutely terrible experience here, had to put over $3000 into a 07 Santa Fe in the first two months and still problems. All after he talked me into getting this vehicle. Buyer beware
