Check your appliances! We were told ours were new and they were 16 years old. Both fridge and stove broke within a year. Also be prepared to budget a plumber in with your new home purchase. Your house will not come with an outdoor spigot. I called and told them to have a plumber call me. Never heard a thing back.EDIT: thank you for your excuse of lying. Now people will know to NOT listen to you but instead READ the contract and check their appliances. There really is no reason for you to have lied. We would have likely purchased it anyway since its all we could afford. You got your commission and thats all you cared about. Try being more honest next time. 👌

Purchased a home in January 2021, received the home in February along with assurance that repairs would be made. Its now July and simple repairs have yet to be completed. The repairmen just never have the material or tools to complete the job. I feel like its a bait and switch going on. The people are polite but they just dont get the job done. If you purchase a home from Freedom, expect ongoing repair delays, possibly years.

I have been searching for a home for a while. I went everywhere from Covington to Baton Rouge and finally found some honest people. I worked with Mr. Darren and he welcomed me with a smile when I walked in and immediately made me feel as if my family and I were his only customer. He took time to get to know us and our needs and then personally walked us to some beautiful houses. He answered all our questions and really helped us understand the process and what we could expect. When it came to pricing he was up front and explained what was included which is the opposite of what we found elsewhere. The team at freedom homes is awesome!! Not only did they help me oder my custom house (which came out amazing!) they helped me do all of the work on my land. I needed a new well and septic tank and trees cleared, and they had a crew come out and do it all for me. Awesome store!

When I went to look for my new home I shopped all around within about 75 miles and every place was the same..not helpful, rude, just wanted to hand me a key and started at a low price and then added tens of thousands to the price. Then I went to Freedom Homes of Hammond. I worked with Mr. Darren who took the time to understand what I wanted and what my families needs were. Then he took me to a few homes that fit my needs and we found the perfect one! He offered to custom build it for me which allowed me to make changes and even helped me get a better price with their sale. Do not understand why this place and many other trailer businesses DO NOT work with LA RESTORE. Just because you have to wait 2 months to get the money from LA RESTORE says your a greedy business and are not concerned with your customers needs.
