I bought a car and warranty a few months ago. My husband was promised 2 free oil changes well we got the 1st one no problem. Yesterday I was told we shouldnt have gotten the 1st because the sales man cannot honor his promises. They clearly are not worried about their reputation. Service refused knowing their employee lied. Didnt try to make it up or apologize in any way. Also they forgot to put my oil change mileage sticker on windshield. Good thing I will never have to go back there. Will never recommend this dealership! Clearly making false promises to customers is no big deal to them. They definitely need a class on customer service skills. Not 1 person I encounter where really friendly.

The dealership is just like your typical car dealership. Theres always going to be a wait. Buying a new car or truck is never a convenient task. However, Lance Keller will help make your experience as comfortable as possible. Lance is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, he listens to your preferences and needs and helps to match you with the perfect car or truck. Additional help from Mr. Jack is always welcomed as well. Mr. Jack is in charge of vehicle delivery but is also extremely knowledgeable about the electronic systems and console operations. He took the time to sit in my new truck with me and walk me through setting things up and tweaking some of the settings to get everything just right. I recommend this Ford dealership. Would have given them all 5 stars if they could have given me a little more information in the parts department.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. They know nothing about customer service or hospitality. Only interested in the amount of money they can make off of you. If I had to write every encounter Ive been unfortunate enough to experience with these people, it would be a trilogy novel. To spare you guys the immense details, I would say just take my word for it when I say NEVER buy a Ford. They live up to the old saying, found on road dead, in every aspect. Save yourself the headache and stay away.

This dealership is the worst dealership I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. From a simple oil change to major parts being repaired or replaced they always managed to screw things up. To top it off is the the service department employees that you deal with. There is zero communication on what needs to be done to your vehicle or when it will be ready. I’ve always had to call them and find out the status of my vehicle and then when they do guess when it’ll be ready, I always had to come back and pick it up the next day or pick it up and drop it back off at a later date to actually get the thing fixed. Also, the “oh well” attitudes that I had to deal with were the icing on the cake. I then drove 30 min out of my way to go to Banner Ford in Mandeville and was treated like a VIP from the minute I pulled up. THEY kept me informed on my vehicle’s status. THEY gave me accurate times and sent me videos of what was done to my vehicle and cost breakdown. Nothing but professional. DO NOT waste your time and money with Bill Hood Ford, you’ll regret it.

Im interested in buying an F150, and wanted to keep it local, so I inquired about one in transit, and I was emailed that its available. I left my cell number but no one called me, which should have been my 1st sign. When I used the dealer rater sight, I found Lance in sales, who was very responsive and nice, and said its still in transit, and not onsite, but called me later in the week about it arriving at the dealership. After a test drive I was ready to move forward, but the sales mgr offered less than 1/2 of my cars value. I was transparent and showed them the previous trade in values I received from other out of town dealerships, as well as both the KBB, and NADA values, so they would have 3 reference points. They came back offering a few thousand more, but thankfully I did my research; they took the credit Ford was offering, and put that towards my trade, not thinking Ill notice. At this point, I wasnt playing a shell game, nor were they valuing my time or effort Im doing to buy a car. I left feeling this is the most unethical, and unprofessional car buying process Ive ever experienced. If the didnt have the bandwidth to value my trade I can respect that, but once the started playing games, I was done. When youre buying a 60k truck, you would think you would be treated better than I was Friday afternoon.

Work performed - replace a punctured tire. Cost over $400.Upon picking up the vehicle and departing the dealership, I found the tire gauges to have 4 different readings for the 4 tires! ( I can’t think this is considered professional)😕!

I recently purchased an F-150 from Bill hood Ford. The buying experience was good enough. The problem that I have is that while buying the truck it was discovered that the sun roof was not functioning. So after the purchase I immediately brought it to the service department to have it repaired. The sales department promised me that they would fix it and I would be given a loaner vehicle while mine was in the shop. The first available appointment was 3 weeks later. I waited and brought it in as scheduled. I was given a loaner truck as promised.My complaint comes with the service department. I was originally told this repair would take a week. It ended up taking 3 1/2 weeks. Fine, I can deal with that. But, when I got in to the truck I immediately noticed that my front windshield was split! Not just a little but a lot! There is a 24” crack going 3 directions right down the center of the drivers side. The service department refuses to replace the windshield. They claim that since there was a rock chip at the top of the windshield that they are not responsible for the damage. They refuse to accept the fact that the windshield split while it was in their possession. And was more than likely split when they put pressure on the roof while replacing the sun roof! I spoke with the service manager and anyone else that might accept responsibility to no avail. This is not acceptable!Furthermore, they did not do any of the work out of their own pocket. They claimed the work under my extended warranty that I had purchased. This meant that I had to pay the warranty’s deductible before I could leave.I will never recommend Bill hood Ford to a friend or family member because of these things. And I will never do business with them in the future.

Literally the easiest transaction Ive ever had with a truck purchase. Called to tell them I wanted it yesterday at noon. The online price was fair. Goofy finance guy called to go over details. Transportation was offered (Im easily an 8 hour drive away) at a reasonable price. At 8am, their driver called to let me know he was 30 minutes away. What? How?The only downside to the entire transaction was that their comptroller doesnt believe in wire transfers. Very odd in this day and age. I hate driving down to the bank to pick up a cashiers check.

Service was great when we bought our edge 6 years ago. Recently we received a recall notice so we called to bring our car in to have it fixed. The service manager said we would need an appointment so they could have the part. They gave us an appointment for the next week. We drove the 45 minutes to their dealership. They took our recall notice and offered us a ride to go and eat while they fixed the recall. We had breakfast at a restaurant and then waited for them to call us when they were finished. We waited about 45 minutes after wed eaten for the bus to get us. When we returned they said they couldnt fix the car because they didnt have the part they needed, although thats why we had an appointment, so they could have the part. They said they would call us when it came in. We didnt hear from them for 2 weeks so my husband called several times. Someone answered the phone at the service department and left it on the desk. My husband could hear people talking but no one ever came to the phone. This went on for another week or so. Finally I called and told the lady who answers the phone at the dealership what was happening in the service department and asked her to please make sure the service department took our phone call. She did, much thanks to her. The service man proceeds to tell us that we would have to pay for the repairs because this recall was not a safety issue and it expires at 120,000 miles. We already had 140,000 miles on our car. So we had already invested one and a half hours driving there the first time. Plus the hour and a half waiting through lunch for them when they werent even working on it. Also, because the lights stayed on so much of the time our battery died and had to be replaced. Also, the inside light sometimes stays on for a long time and at night that is a danger because I cant see outside with that light on so it is a safety issue. We still have not had the repair done yet. I am so disappointed that no one would do the honorable thing by fixing a RECALL part. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone and Ford can forget my business becaue they obviously dont care about taking care of their customers. Whoever manages this dealership should be ashamed. I will find someone who will take care of my car because they owe it to us by wasting our time and money. It is such a shame that they are punishing faithful customers who choose to keep their vehicles for a longer time. We are patient people but I am very dissatisfied with this dealership AND Ford for putting an expiration date on a recall, which was caused by their lack of excellence.

Bill Hood Ford-Lincoln has had my vehicle for 2 weeks to replace mirrors and fix a tire sensor. I have not received even a courtesy call for update/status. Finally after 2 weeks without a vehicle I contacted Service Department and requested to speak to manager. Held for 13 minutes first call, second call hold time was 8 minutes. Finally was put through to Service Foreman and he had no idea as to what was going on. He promised a return call, which he did, however indicated my vehicle has been sitting there for 2 weeks and HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED! Never again. I will drive to Baton Rouge Lincoln every single time. Employees are incompetent and customer service is a 0!!

So i got work on my 2015 ford fiesta St transmission for the input shaft baring. Now my CV axel seal is leaking and they said its not human error that the seal is damaged and the delarship is not takeing responsible on there mistake so if they messup your car they wont fix the problem.

AVOID THE LINCOLN SERVICE CENTER. They charged me $500 to close my sunroof. This is something All-Star Lincoln Service Center in Baton Rouge did for $125. They returned the vehicle without the sunshade closed. Apparently they had broken it (it was not broken when we went in). I called, my husband called and never received a return call from Jim. Also, I called to make an appointment for my brake pads to be replaced. They said I didn’t need one, but when I went to go in they said I had to have an appointment for break pads. So I tried to make an appointment for Monday. Jim said just walk in and ask for him. So I husband brings it in at 8:30 they didn’t call us until 5 to say it had to be picked up by 5:30! This place has the worst costumer service. Thankfully my husband was able to manually pull it shut, but I do not recommend this place!

Went there two weeks ago to look at an F150 that was described on line as a demo. When we arrived we were told that the truck was actually a loaner with 5600 miles on the odometer. Being open minded my wife and I test drove the truck and liked it as well as a new truck. When we sat down with the salesman we actually wanted to discuss prices on both trucks, but it was clear that they did not want to talk about price the demo/loaner for some reason. So we moved on to the new truck which we were given a price. When we asked if there was any room for negotiation we were met with the usual I’ll talk to my manager. Well “Mr. Newman” walks in and nonchalantly insults my wife and I by addressing us as “PEOPLE LIKE YOU”. Then proceeded to call us frugal because we asked if they could match a price that I was quoted out of state. He goes on to call us frugal. We walked away and proceeded to find a better deal than Bill Hood was willing to give us. As all salesmen do I was contacted a week later asking if I had time to think about the truck which I replied to him that I thought about it while walking out of his office. Conclusion, do yourself a favor save a few thousand and go somewhere else for you vehicle purchase.It still boggles my mind that they wanted nothing to do with selling a demo/ loaner that the advertised on line for sale.

My wife bought a Jeep back in February 2020 and at first the told her they were checking everything out on the vehicle and changing the oil and everything. She drove home 2 hours and I checked it oil when she got there and there was absolutely NO OIL whatsoever in it. She had a tire completely shred about 2 weeks later THEN her A/C stopped working completely and she took it back to them and they put Freon in it and she drove it back home. Her air went hot about 3 weeks after and her and her dad have called them for 2 weeks and they either won’t answer or will not call us back. Phil Munoz is horrible! I suggest if you buy from them DO NOT go to him! We’ll never buy from another Bill Hood car lot! If i could give them 0 stars i would. 0/10 would not recommend!

One star service. I would give it none if I could. I am extremely disappointed in the service I recieved. My wife and I went on a test drive and the vehicle broke down two miles away from the dealership I pulled the vehicle over to the side of the road as the vehicle stalled out. I proceeded to the call the dealership and was told to drive the vehicle back even though it couldnt accelerate over 3Mph and would impede traffic and cause a dangerous situation for my wife and I. I attempted to put the vehicle back in drive and try to make it back to the dealership and only made it 30 feet before the vehicle stalled completely. I called the dealership a second time and told them the vehicle was now completely stalled on the side of the road and to please pick us up. The dealership was irritated by my request for assistance and told me they would send someone to pick us up. A salesman from the dealership arrived and after we climbed into his vehicle he began to rudely to talk down to my wife and I by making very rude statements like dont you think cars breakdown? You think we just shred cars that dont work? I told the salesman I didnt expect to breakdown on a test drive which he rudely responded by telling me fine Ill just sell it to the next person My wife and I are completely appalled and are in disbelief by this mans behavior and how unprofessional he was. My family and I will never step foot at Bill Hoods Ford in Hammond ever again. I will be telling everyone I know to look elsewhere when buying a vehicle. I should have listened to the other reviews online about this dealership as this was a complete waste of time as I traveled 30 miles to get there only to be insulted by a unprofessional salesman once I took a vehicle on a test drive. 0/5 stars. Called to schedule an appointment to look at a car I have been eyeing around 10AM. Let them know I had about a 55 minute drive to get there and would be leaving right after work. Got off work around 4:35 PM and started the trip in the rain to check out the car. Got there around 5:40PM only to find out they sold it maybe an hour before. Didnt get a call back on it that the car i was scheduled to look at was sold. At least a call back would have been great. Just left a bad taste in my mouth over the whole deal. Beware if you have to drive to get there that there is a chance it may not be there.

Has been a good and mostly painless buying experience. Wish they had an area for kids.Edit: Buying experience was good but realized after there are couple minor issue we discovered after and it has taken 3 weeks for even a call back.2nd Edit: Every time I get in my van something else goes wrong. I am now about to spend almost another $1000 to get rear A/C fixed. They said the would fix but didnt. Although after many arguments they did fix the all 4 motor mounts, engine supports and a myriad of other issues we discovered after buying vehicle. I will never return nor will I recommend. Maybe its just because I bought it in 2020 or maybe its because used car dealers are dishonest.

Well we went there to purchase a truck we already had done our homework check with the bank and had our paperwork what bank we would love to use to do all alone instead the loan person told us that they only prefer to use Capital One and Chase interest rate was high on one of them he didnt want to use Bank of America, we eventually had to go back and the man to change the paperwork to Bank of America so this added unnecessary stress to us, it could have been better we just thought that they had the interest of the customer and we fought like that they didnt, we are going to need to get another vehicle for me in a couple of years were going to have to decide whos going to be the next place

Worst car dealership I have EVER dealt with. I’d give it a zero if I could. Drove 2 hours from my house two days in a row to do business with them. The second day I even had my in laws tag along because the first day sounded and looked so promising in getting the truck that I test drove and wanted. I left on day one with a trade in estimate, credit ran...the whole 9 yards. Even texted AJ Battle the sale guy to check on the status before I left the house on day two AJ said “everything looks good come on in” I get there they wanted to put me in a whole different type of truck that we didn’t even look at. Finance manager said it wasn’t possibly to work with me on the truck I wanted, and they couldn’t do anything more for me.......I went down the road to Lamarque Ford they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I got the same truck that I wanted, and a way better deal than what these quacks offered. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

He was extremely in a rush to do everything didn’t even show us around the vehicle and had no idea about it. He told us nothing was wrong with it but turns out there was multiple things wrong with it. It would have helped is he could have at told us the issues before we bought it.

Very disappointed with this dealer. I inquired on a vehicle I saw they had listed on the internet-- a specific used vehicle. I was greeted on the phone by Alexis who was very kind, not pushy at all, and told me the vehicle was still available and we set up an appointment to see it. That was on a Tuesday and the appointment would be on Saturday. After a couple of days there was no follow up from Alexis or a salesperson, so I called back in hopes that I could get more clarity on the vehicles availability. Alexis answered and told me the night before the appointment shed call me and let me know if the vehicle was still for sale seeing as Id be driving from an hour out of the way. No call, and unfortunately wasnt able to call myself. Those things are understandable. However, the day of the appointment I drove out there and decided to call 30 minutes before my arrival to check the availability. The man who answered the phone was extremely kind and said the vehicle was still in the system so yeah its still here, without checking to see if it was really there. I arrive at the dealer and its not there. The salesman tells me he doesnt see it, so hell just check the key system and if its not there- its gone. A finance worker confirms saying Yup, sold it last night.I understand, being in the car business for some time, how everything works. But the lack of follow up on Friday night or at any point, as well as telling me it was still in the system (after I explained multiple times I was coming from a distance), is wildly disappointing and easily preventable in todays world of easy communication-- especially considering I called 20-30 minutes prior to arrival to make sure it was still there. As for the workers, everyone was very kind for the most part, but an easily preventable scenario occurred that could be chalked up to none other than laziness and lack of compassion for the consumer.

I was very interested in a vehicle at Bill Hood. However, the vehicle clearly needed tires so I wanted to negotiate. I dont want to purchase tires for a vehicle that I am purchasing and the vehicle needed a windshield but definitely needed tires. The salesperson called back the next day and stated that they will purchase new tires and change the windshield. I have been trying to get in touch with the salesperson for the last two days. The receptionist answers the phone and places the call on hold and eventually send the call to voicemail. If I attempt to call back, no one answers. Sad to say but I am no longer interested in the purchase. To top it off, I came to the car lot approved for the vehicle. Horrible customer service. I text and called the salesperson directly, no response or follow-up. I drove an hour away to see this vehicle. Complete waste of time.

In regards to service department: I brought my truck here for rear end work, and the differential ended up needing to be rebuilt. There was an issue with getting the part in before my estimated completion date came, so I had to be without my truck for an additional two days. However I was in frequent contact with Jake, who was very friendly and helpful, and they definitely made things right to compensate for the delay. They shaved a small bit off the bill and went the extra mile by changing my back brake pads at no cost. To me thats the type of customer service all businesses should strive for. I will definitely bring my truck here for future major repair jobs (hopefully I wont need to!) Also, the rear end was fixed completely. It runs great, smooth, and quiet.

Great experience! I drove all the way from Baton Rouge because BR dealerships didnt have a 2.7L Sport like I was looking for. Sales Rep. named Gerald sold me the truck with no pressure to buy. He gave me the truck for a very fair price after some polite negotiation and I have to say that I am very pleased with everything so far. The finance guy was also great. He took the time to explain everything and was transparent with all the finance paperwork. After reading the reviews I expected to come in arguing and fighting the price of a car we were interested in. Walked in and was greeted outside before we even got to the door, immediately a sales person had the keys for us and let us test drive the car while they went to look up trade in for my vehicle. We were pleased with the car and even though we expected to come back another day, they handled everything quickly, politely, and I even managed to talk them up on the trade in value. Got a great deal, extended warranty, and great financing. Very pleased, never had anyone try to push me around or force me into something just because Im young.

They tell the mechanics to “slap a bandage on whatever problem their cars have” then sell them to people. Then when it breaks they will not take responsibility even if it’s the same day as purchase. THEY WILL SELL YOU A BAD CAR.

I was not amused with this dealership. Got a little too much double-talk. And no one could show me how much I actually paid for my truck. They just kept talking around the paperwork. And added in over $2,000 worth of extras that I neither needed nor wanted. Ive been driving Fords since 1983. This is the first time Ive thought about switching to Chevrolet because of one real bad experience at this dealership.

Wonderful staff - excellent service - awesome vehicle! My knowledgeable salesman (Matt Smith) really took his time answering questions and providing useful information about my target vehicles - as well as my trade/purchase options. The experience was very enjoyable with no hastle or hustle. After I made my selection, the finance department (Marshall Eppes) efficiently and thoroughly stepped me through the purchase process. Honestly, this was one of the best, if not the best, car-buying experiences Ive ever had. Bill Hood Ford is a wonderful dealership with a great staff. I wouldnt hesitate recommending them to anyone looking for a quality new or used vehicle.

Terrible customer service. Miss Barbara their customer service manager insulted my intelligence. Then hung up on me when I got upset at her. I was given the run around anojt when they could get to my car. I had to open up a case to get them to be investigated before I got any sort of respect from these people. On a positive note their cashier is very nice!

Bought a car on a Friday night. Saturday morning it would not start. Took car to multiple places only to confirm that I was lied to about many things! I understand the policies of buying ‘as is’, but to completely lie to your customers and refuse any sort of help within such a short period of time is terrible and not good business. I would not recommend anyone in the used car market to shop there.

Seemed unorganized and unprofessional. Online vehicles not in stock. We emailed about one and it was told to us it was available. So, we headed that way. About 35 minutes into trip we get and email stating a deal was possible going in with truck. We continued to drive the rest of our 1 hour left of a trip 1 1/2 hour total ride there so we get there and the people didnt seem to know what vehicle we were talking about. Then said it may be processing with someone at the moment. We get with a salesperson who states that truck has been sold early this morning. Then he of course tries to sell us other vehicles we werent interested in. One truck he went to show us was not even on the lot. He could not find it. Needless to say. We wasted our time and money in gas to go there. Not happy. No truck purchased. Hopefully things get better there.

DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP. I purchased a 2017 F-250 and less than a year later the truck has major mechanical problems. The service department is absolutely clueless with what is wrong with the truck. The truck was brought in earlier for this problem and the dealership told me the problem was fixed. Two weeks later the truck is involved in an accident, due to the problem. The dealership Richard Bertone, was rude and had no clue how to find the problem. They left my truck in the parking lot for five days, because they had no idea how to figure out the problem, the release me back the vehicle and tell me they cannot work on it. A NEW 50,000 TRUCK. The good news is I am suing the dealership and filing complaints with numerous state agencies for consumer fraud and negligence. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP

Back in 1990, I purchased a used 87 Aerostar frim Biddy. Im not sure where he is now, but the experience was positive. Although I lived in St. Bernard at the time, the purchase in Hammond was the exact vehicle we wanted. In 2004, the van was given to a friend, still running with over 200k miles.In 2012, I purchased a used F250 Lariat. Since that time, the service department has exceeded my expectations on my truck. Fairness, no trickery, and on-time promised work are their positives. These qualities will lead me to purchase my next Ford from Bill Hood.

I drove 45min to my scheduled appointment to test drive a vehicle, confirmed the test drive on my way, and when I arrived (and waited 30min) I learned that the car was sold. Don’t know why they couldn’t have told me that before I drove 45min for nothing.

My husband called this morning to see if a specific car was available. When they said it was, he took off of work and drove over an hour to get there. Upon arrival, they stated the vehicle was just sold. Come on! They obviously didn’t check on availability in the first place. Now my husband took an entire day off of work. Thanks Bill Hood!

Since I bought my car here in 2017, Ive regularly gotten my oil changed at their service department. On 2/8/19, I got my oil changed and they told me I needed new brake pads and a new air filter. I told them I would get the brake pads and air filter myself. Fast forward to 2/17/19, we go to change the brake pads and air filter. I only had 3 lug nuts on one of the front rims, NO air filter, lid to the air box not even attached, and a cigarette butt in the air box. Call the service department and she says the technician probably just forgot to put the air filter back in but theyll give me one, theyll give me a lug nut (I was already missing one from when they broke off one of my studs like a year ago) and that she doesnt know how the cigarette butt could have gotten in there (they usually replace my air filter when I need it so I know it was them). So basically they did nothing to rectify the situation. I already have a new air filter, we already got another lug nut, but hey, hopefully they only forgot that one cigarette butt in my air box, right? Who knows how much dust and debris my motor has been sucking up this past week on my 70 mile one way commutes to work everyday without an air filter
