My recent experience at Bill Hood Nissan was outstanding as usual. I have purchased my last three Nissan Pathfinders from the same salesperson (Dennis Watson) and he has always exemplified outstanding customer service. Through our many conversation via telephone, Dennis knew exactly what type of vehicle I was looking for and as soon as the truck became available he contacted me to come and to look at it. I immediately purchased the vehicle. A wonderful experience purchasing a vehicle from Bill Hood Nissan! As my grandson says, Easy Peasy!!!

Mr. Matt was a friendly and knowledgeable sales representative. He showed us a variety of cars and answered all of our questions. This is the second Nissan I have purchased from this dealership and I am well-satisfied with the quality of those automobiles.

I went in because I found a truck I liked. The price of the truck was what I could afford. Once we sat down my info was collected and the salesmen ran my credit. He came back with paperwork and the price of the truck was $4000 more than what was marked on the window sticker. That was an unexpected surprise on top of him running my credit before I even knew the final price. He couldve let me know before hand. Wasted 3 hours before he tells me the price. He shouldve been upfront from the beginning. They were not willing to budge on the price. The price they wanted for the vehicle should be clearly marked on it. I left dissatisfied and unimpressed with my waste of time.

Took my car to get serviced here. Clean facility, incredibly friendly staff. My representative was open and honest about what was urgent to be serviced, what could be serviced but was not urgent. This was incredibly important to me as someone who is young and doesnt know much about cars. He didnt try to upsell anything and was thorough and quick. I spent less than anticipated too! Will definitely return!

Best prices for the type of vehicle I was looking for, salesman, Dennis Watson, was very knowledgeable on the vehicles I was looking at and was not overly aggressive/pushy to sell me the car which meant a lot. Will definitely do business with him again.

Matt Burrowes is a MAJOR asset to this company! My husband had been shopping around looking at Rogues but not necessarily set on buying just yet. Matt was always there to answer any questions he had and never pushy about making the sale right then. One evening both my husband and I went to look and discuss maybe trading in our current vehicle for a Rogue but ultimately decided not to. Matt was there for us the whole time, again very informative and easy to talk to but not once pressuring us. When we finally decided to go one last time to look, we were glad to see Matt there. This time we took the plunge and traded in our car at the time for a Rogue and wouldn’t have done it with anyone but Matt to help us. Tony is also an amazing asset as he has been there to help us answer any questions regarding the features of the car that my husband wasn’t able to figure out. Love this team all around!

Took my car to Nissan dealership bc was told needed update bc of there mess up at the factory but than I’m told it won’t program because it’s a after market air flow sensor in it because it’s not a Nissan one but than they won’t me to buy a 300 sensor from them and another 200 dollars for programming needles to say just paid 150 for the sensor that’s in there and 150 for the programming that they just did Nissan you are so full of it you are ripping people off you should be seriously ashamed of yourselfs you will never get my business every again smdh

I would like to give credit to bobby at the import corner preowned, as well as the finance guys at nissan. These guys fought to get us a great deal on a beautiful car despite how difficult it was. We tried a few other dsalerships and most of them saw the situation and just turned us down or did all they could to rip us off and take advantage of the situation. I visited this facility for convenience only to find out upon arrival that the service and parts department has a practice of attempting to persuade individuals into buying lower quality parts and receiving unnecessary services in order to drive up the prices especially if they Assume the buyer is unknowledgeable in the given subject area I initially believed that it was only one department however, when speaking with multiple departments through multiple visits with them and their affiliates for various reasons I became aware that it was an organizational culture

Had a wonderful customer service experience with the parts department. I stopped in because as I was driving by I remembered I needed the battery terminal for my moms Murano. While it took the guy a moment to come to the counter he was pleasant and completely understood what I was looking for. He got the part I needed and I was done quickly.

We came from Florida to Hammond, La to buy our 2015 Camaro SS 6 speed. Ask for Herman Dubose. Herman was professional, polite, and treated my husband and I as if we were long-time friends. He made this purchase basically feel like a cake walk. Because of Herman we were able to get the best deal we had come across in 4 states. He made us feel like we were his top priority. Bought my brand new car here last January. The saleswoman was AMAZING. She showed me a lot of great options within my budget and I didnt feel pressured to buy anything either. It took me all day, but she was very patient with me while I made my decision. The service department is great as well. Ive brought my car in for 3 oil changes now, and not a single issue. Unlike when I was bringing my old car to Wal-Mart and Take 5 where I ALWAYS had an issue.

I went to Toyota a week prior an they were ugly to me so I came back to Nissan I traded a 2019 AWD Altima an they got me a wonderful deal put me in a murano SL an they even got us special financing because we are veterans I am so happy with my purchase

If you are looking for a vehicle GO SEE Herman Dubose at Bill Hood Nissan used cars. I reached out to my cuz a couple weeks ago after seeing his post on Facebook to see what I would have to do to possibly get a truck. I explained my situation to him and he told me what I needed to do in order to get a vehicle granted my credit aint good. When I went to see him at the dealership he had already found a truck that fit my budget, and my needs. It was a no hassle, no pressure experience. Prices are way too high! They wont even negotiate with you when their cars have issues! I went right down the street to Russ Downing and bought a truck for over $3,000 less and in better condition! It was the same year truck and I was able to get a prettier color!

Just wanted to share my experience with Bill Hood Nissan in Hammond. Bought a car from them 14 months ago for my daughter and it needed a compressor for the air conditioner which they replaced before I drove off the lot. Just this last week the compressor went out and started leaking freon so I took it to my mechanic and he noticed there was a bolt missing along with a lot of freon leaking. My mechanic suggested I go back to the service department at Bill Hood Nissan to let them look at it so I brought it in and they told me there was nothing they could do about it since it was two months out of warranty then the service manager handed me a bolt and said I could take the bolt with me if I wanted it and that is all they would offer. When I brought my car back to my mechanic to have them replace the compressor he noticed that where the bolt was missing they (Bill Hood Nissan) tried to drill the broken bolt out so it was clear evidence that they broke off the bolt when they replaced the compressor before I bought the car and tried to salvage it by drilling it out but was unsuccessful. I then called them back and asked that if they would at least cover half the cost of my repairs since they obviously broke the bolt during the original repair and their reply was that since I chose not to purchase the extended warranty when I bought the car that it would not be fair to them to pay for anyting. I would like to specifically point out the sales manager of the used car department and the service manager at the Nissan dealership which both were very insulting to me by offering me a bolt for my problems and throwing salt on the wound by reminding me I did not purchase the extended warranty. I have had other great experiences with dealerships which I would like to mention Ray Brandt Infiniti in Metairie Louisiana and Banner Ford in Mandeville both of which I have received excellent service. I strongly recommend steering clear of any Hood dealership no matter where it is located because if this is the kind of treatment they teach their employees to give their customers then they clearly do not care about getting repeat business. I would also like to mention that Brannigans Auto Repair in Madisonville Louisiana was very transparent throughout this whole process and replaced the compressor and warrantied their work an extra year beyond what the manufacturer gives which they did not have to do and what Bill Hood Nissan failed to do. If you are looking for an honest mechanic for any repairs please consider Brannigans Auto repair in Madisonville Louisiana. They have been in business over 50 years, family owned and trustworthy.
