The quality of most products in this store is very impressive. Unfortunately, who in the world can afford to buy from them on the daily basis unless you have a temporary help from credit card companies. It is very expensive to shop here just like in Whole Foods Market. I would come here again only in case of emergency or no more than twice a month. Also, in this exciting and beautiful city, especially now, it should be opened 24 hours, but it is not. In addition, there are not any long lines in the cashiers areas. The store is relatively empty. Safeway supermarket would be better choice, one person opinion. It has always something that is very healthy. Nevertheless, it is not cheap out there either, but cheaper than here. Because it is cheaper in Safeway, the lines to pay for your purchase could be a horror. However, i would rather stay in line extra time in Safeway than to pay huge for overpriced products here.

What Whole Foods used to be when it was a wholesome store. This is a huge store to fulfill a foodies whim and wish, although the baguette choices were disappointingly narrow. Allow more than a few minutes to explore this store! Fresh coffee and juice/smoothie bar, lots of individual-sized packaged health-oriented snacks and prepared foods. So far there are only 4 locations all in the northern area of California. Maybe an up and coming stock to invest in when it goes public on the exchange?

This is a really nice market that serves Half Moon bay. Good selection of high quality bread, cheese, artisanal goods...you know, the stuff West Coast elites like to eat. ..LoLI guess Its only fitting that this market is literally ON the West Coast.Stop by and pickup a meal or sandwich or general picnic items and enjoy day on the beach....provided the fog clears out enough that you can actually see it.

I couldn’t love my local store more. Organic and fresh produce, great deli, easy parking, unique desserts, friendly employees, and great flowers. I don’t shop anywhere else.

Really friendly staff & great selection of healthy, sustainable living focused foods, drinks & grocery. It would be great to see more vegan options (beyond meat burger only available 1 day per week at the deli).As usual there are a lot of plastic containers, it would be great to see alternatives such as fill up your own containers. There is a little of this, but washable plates, bowls & cups for eat-in would be less wasteful.Also would be great if more products sold in bulk (bring or buy reusable containers) to get away from overuse of single-use plastic packaging on fruits, chips, cookies, etc.Quality of products, health foods & supplements is top-quality featuring many local goods.

This is the best market in Half Moon Bay. The selection is great, though a little expensive. The juice bar is out of this world with the best barista on the west coast. Calypso will serve your favorite healthy beverage with a smile, a joke and a loving signature on your cup. Highly recommended.

I miss New Leaf more than I miss home when traveling. The selection is great. The produce is very fresh without being overpriced. There is a great health and body section. They also support products from local farms and local cottage industries.Also very COVID aware. I have noticed employees asking customers to out their masks on the right way.

A favorite in our community. Great meat and seafood department. Nice deli. Good wine and beer selection. The produce department is small but has a good selection. Nice cheeses and other specialty items.

New leaf....this is a review of the coffee. BTW the market always has good fesh food, but its Ocean Colony prices darling.Anyway, their coffee isnt bad, but the service is kinda nonchalant. There is either three or four servers standing around talking who kinda look at you like your interupting their conversation, or there is noone in site.The coffee is always luke warm it seems like they made it at 7:30 am.Latte guy is always there.Too much hassle. Go to 7/11 where you can get hot coffee for $2.09 for a large columbian coffee. And its hot!

Was on the line with my daughter to get a sandwich, older lady refused to take my order. She saw us, but kept ignoring and walking away, then kept taking order from newly coming shoppers. We constantly shopping at this store when in HMB but never seen such attitude from this store personnel. Not cool considering it suppose to be upscale supermarket.

I used to love this store, but, they have changed alot of products, have taken away lots of items, shelves sometimesare empty, most employees are very courteous, but they raised prices also.I went their today though and that the bathrooms are closed now, I asked anEmployee, but she just said they are closed, were getting squeezed and squeezed every day.

Kind of like a great local version of Whole Foods and maybe even slightly more affordable pricing...not by much though.

A fine community market. Well stocked, reasonably priced,and has a good gluten-free assortment. Very clean. Sandwiches are middle of the road. There is room for improvement in variety and freshness.

I actually worked here when it first opened about ten years ago! Great selection of food and careful attention to their mission of garbage-free ingredients. Produce, cheese, and wine sections are stocked. Hot food is great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Having freshly prepared deli items, along with meal kits when dinner is late or delayed is a great idea and lifesaver!Fresh flowers 🌺 can be found throughout the store, and the staff is knowledgeable about and believes in the the products and Mission Statement.

We always stop in here when we visit half moon bay to buy snacks and get something from their awesome juice bar. Love the tonics and bone broths they serve.

Love this store...mostly fully organic salad bar and other selections are fresh, local and delicious. Organic free range rotisserie chicken great. The juice and medicinal drink bar is awesome...rare to find. Fresh organic produce and herbs!

First visit. This place is GREAT! Tons of great food for picnics. I love the small food portions. This is sure to be regular stop on our way to the beach!

This is the best grocery store Ive ever seen. This place is what Whole Foods always strove for... Legit. Go in, order a smoothie it juice, grab some prepared for and then get some fish and beautiful producer for dinner. Great selection of supplements and drinks as well.

I love this store! Once you go organic there is no going back! Their prices are reasonable on lots of common items I buy. Its true, compare them to WF. They have great sales frequently on things that cost more. I am a NL faithful.

Best place for healthy and local food on the coast. This is where I go when I need local cut flowers or whole 30 approved condiments. Easy to navigate the store and theyre committed to supporting the local community. Good coffee at and the cafe too.

Its the only game in town as far as upscale grocery shopping / natural and organic food. While still clean, they have changed management and reduced selections while raising prices. Fewer name brand canned goods, and switched to off brand where they used to have Cadia as the store default. Smaller produce section, many empty shelves. Becoming more reasonable to shop over the hill at Whole Foods, to get better selection and actually lower prices.

Horrible customer service! After shopping needed to go bathroom and the restrooms were closed! Open only for employees. Dont go here if you need to go shopping and use the restroom as it will be denied to you.

Clean, bright, with helpful staff. B Corp, so its paying its staff well and has lots of local and CA produced products (it better, its not a cheap to shop). Knowledgeable meat counter, great cheese selection, has a deli, hot and salad bar, and a juice bar.

When going to the beach at Half Moon Bay, this great store is nearly a must. It has a great selection of Vegan, and organic food. Store is well organized and clean. Easy to find whatever one is looking for. Staff is helpful and competent.

The best grocery store between SF and Santa Cruz on the coast. Fresh, organic, local. Excellent hotbar, salad bar, juice bar and sushi counter. Healthy eater products with stuff like tiger nuts in bulk, cassava chips, kombucha green drinks. TIP: The coastal kale salad is a thing -- lean in. And the kale keeps for your road trip too!

A good friend cooks lunches & dinners here. Upon a surprise visit while he was working, it was evident the neighborhood likes his cuisine. Whole roasted chicken was the special that day but was Sold Out before I arrived :(If you pass through, do yourself a favor and enjoy a lunch or whatever Managing Chef Noah Booger has prepared.Tell him, Woody says Hi and maybe win a prize ;)

Great grocery store. They have a wide selection of vegetables and fruit. They have tons of organic options. We love their sandwiches to order. They have great self make salads and soups. We order chickens and ham and they are always perfect.

Definitely the best store to get your groceries, it is a bit expensive but it is well worth it, cause going to safeway a cross it is a headache.

Best produce you can find!

Pretty cool market with a lot of local produce, flowers, etc. Very similar to Whole Foods to the point that I thought the store was owned by them! Labels, organization and Sushi selection were all almost identical in my opinion. Prices were similar as well. However the store had more local stuff and as a result id recommend it over Whole Foods. Recommended.
