Absolutely the worst service!!!! I made an appointment for an inspection a week in advance and it was for 9am. I dropped my car off before work at 4am and went to pick it up at 4:30pm and they didnt even inspect it!!! And they wanted me to wear a mask but all 3 of the employees didnt even have a mask on. What a waste of time!!!

Scheduled an apt with them. I took off work for it and then the day of the apt, they said that we never scheduled and I can’t come in. Which was completely not true. Would not recommend this type of business.

They will rip you off for anything and everything possible. I Brought 2 different trucks here to get inspected within 2 weeks and they failed both trucks for not being able to get the brake drums off but I took trucks home and had the all the drums off in under 10 minutes myself

If I could give zero stars, I would. Tried to charge another 2% taxes because I was going to use a credit card. Shady business right there. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

.This place is a big joke...I would give them a big fat 0 Myself...was going to have them put a motor in my f150,that they quote me 4 ta 5 day..they had my truck for 3 weeks to find out they didnt even turn a bolt and killed my battery..as the lair at the front desk kept leading me on that the job was going good...lmao..wouldnt let them work on my bicycle..

Overall, a great experience. Stouffers is a small MA&PA type shop, the type where the family (I believe) runs the place and where dogs run around freely. If this isnt your cup of tea, I would suggest you look elsewhere. For me, it was quite pleasant. The woman at the desk is very friendly. The guys running the shop are nice and appear to know what they are doing. I took my motorcycle to get inspected here and it was a very quick process and the guys seemed to be very thorough with the inspection, but fair. I would recommend this to anyone in the Hagerstown area looking for a Tag & Title service shop.

A friend took his vehicle here for inspection. During this time they had it, it managed suffering from some jerk spray painting the underneath of his vehicle as well as putting a nice size dent in a bed he just recently spent a great amount cleaning up and getting to pristine shape. And they refuse to pay for it or show any signs of proof that thy did not do it! do not recommend anyone goes here beings theyre other reviews are horrid, and this isnt the first one something has happened o a customer and Im sure it wont be the last as long as theyre let to continue the behavior they are doing!

No respect for the customer. Will not honor damage to a vehicle caused while in there possession. DONT GO here! If for some reason you have to go here (I mean that desperate) I strongly suggest you take pictures of it before you drop it off and walk around the car before you leave and before you sign anything. This place is a joke! Just read the reviews they speak for themselves

These guys were awesome. I was able to get my car fixed and registered that same day way cheaper.Went to Sullivans Virginia Ave for a car inspection, they said I had multiple things to repair to pass inspection with a quote of almost $600.So I went Stouffers for a second opinion; fewer repairs and a fraction of a price of $225. People there were very open and honest; he looked over the things that Sullivans stated needed to be fixed and he said he couldnt find a thing wrong.A true blessing for a college student.

You could find better service at a cemetery. What an absolute joke of a business, and quite possibly the worst possible employees. Compete dumpster fire

Please warming and I mean it. This place has a cheap inspection but they will fail you for no reason and give you a high quote for repairs. They fail me for seatbelt saying it was wear out and ask me to pay $640 for the repairs. I went to another inspection place and pass without no problem. The lady who works there is nice, the guy who does the inspection gets frustrated all the time and the mechanic is so lazy he will keep you waiting and tell you it would cost you this much and take you days to repair it.

Honestly, I’d give them a 0 if I could. They had my car for 2 months to diagnose a wiring issue. Not only did it not get fixed, but when I got it back, the battery was dead and needed recharged making it very inconvenient for me to pick up. So when i told them, I’d pick it up today after work (after rescheduling a couple times due to lack of rides) they left the car running and the lights on until I arrived to get it at 6:15 pm.

Super nice lady at front desk..took care of everything (new title, tags,,registration, etc.) in less than 10 minutes!!! I would have wasted an entire afternoon at local MVA for same service/needs! Great service, reasonable fee...highly recommend these folks!

The logistics of scheduling is a little screwy now and then but my overall customer service experience with these guys are above par. Everytime I have an issue these guys took care of men they even do work on Saturdays sometimes for easy fixes. I have been bringing my vehicles here for years and they always make sure Im happy when i leave.

Very busy, but nice people all the same. They do good work, but wait times vary depending on the number of mechanics on duty; so be prepared. I recommend staying on top of them and calling them often.

Small pop and son shop... Honest and great... It may take a few days because they are always very busy, but for the price and work, cant beat it.

If I could give more stars I would! I had initially went to Martins car shop and they had told me that it would cost $1,700 to have my car pass inspection. I was pretty upset went to go get a second opinion and this place was referred from a co-worker. From the customer service to the mechanical work everything was exceptional and more than what I had expected. They were friendly professional and went above and beyond for one third of the price! I will never go anywhere else and recommend it to anyone. They demonstrate integrity and show that they are the one in a million car places you can trust and not ones to take advantage of anyone!

Don’t go to this place, don’t take responsibility for anything of their own action, damage customers property and misdiagnose inspections. 10/10 don’t recommend.

We called Thursday to get a price on an inspection. They made us an appointment for Saturday at 10am. When I dropped off the car he told me it should be done by 11:30am. So we went over to Walmart to go shop. 10:45am I get a call that the car is ready! Very pleased with the service! My parents are now going to use them for repairs on their van!

Great lady at the desk! But disappointed in the service I got! Smh I took a car to them they had it for a month paid them over 800$ for a repair on this car and to get it inspected and all they did the work but the main thing was I went there to have a over heating problem fixed and yet it was never fixed.. I drove off their lot and it was fine til I got on the road they knew I wasn’t paying for tags for the car til it was fixed.. and I drove this car back to my house and right before I got to my house it overheated and when I called them I got told to bring it back. Smh knowing that I just told them it was in the hot.. so they got 800$+ from me and yet I have a car that still can’t run. Smh

Buddy of mine took his truck for an inspection and they spray painted his brand new suspension and then proceeded to make a dent on the bed and neither of these were communicated to him until the day he received it back. Terrible lack of professionalism and customer service.

These guys were GREAT! Really helped me out! Done when they said they would be! Actually let me keep car there an extra 2 days (over wkend) while I got paperwk sorted out & got tags for it! Very nice & accommodating in spite of busy! These guys rock!!!

Treats your vehicle as a derby car and very unprofessional. Would charge you for blinker fluid and muffler bearings if they could.

Brought my car in for a scheduled inspection and was greeted with backs turned no eye contact and a question as to why I was there. I stated that I was there for my appointment and waited for them to get the ball rolling. The owner (f u attitude) came out to look at my vehicle to see wether or not my vehicle would be at the proper height to place under his lift. The owner places his tap measure under the front of the vehicle and states its to low only 4 inches and then goes on to tell me to strip off my window tint like some authoritarian to which I tell him aint gonna happen. I drove off and went to another place in frederick with no issues ( satisfied). For one the tint if perfectly legal but this owner at once glance says not, he’s dead wrong. If you dont feel comfortable getting under a car 5 inches off the ground not 4 then update your equipment or atleast try to accommodate. You might want explain to the state police why i was declined service for that and yes I can push that issue with them and get YOU looked at. If the car is lower than the bottom of the rim then you can decline service, my car not even close. So if you want service with an attitude no eye contact then by all means make an appointment but as for me I will no longer be doing business with this owner and will continue going back to the place in frederick which has better service and a better environment.

Terrible shop to deal with. Horrible customer service and the absolute worst owner. Do not go to this place for anything, even a simple oil change because they will mess that up as well.

Ive been there with 3 of my cars and as long as I make an appointment, they get my car in right away and fixed. Desnity, the lady at the front desk is always very kind and professional and their shops rates are the best in Washington County!!! Im so glad I was recommended to Stouffers! 🚙🚗🚘P.S.My advice to Derek, call and make an appointment first! Just a thought.

Watch this place at times they can be shady .. told me they were working on my car when i stopped in my car was never touch for over a week was in the same spot i put it they was using my car ad a storage unit had stuff propped up on it and leaning on it and scratched my roof and door...BE CAREFUL

WASTE OF TIME!! AVOID!!!!Second time Ive been there and second time i was toyed with. Had a chevy s10 needed inspected and they had it for a week before they had time. Most recently my teuck was stuck in 4x4. they said it would be 5 days before they could see it. So i waited. They keep telling me to call back, call back until they tell me it wouldnt be until next week they could LOOK at it. My advise go to a garage with real mechanics.
