Appreciated the quick response from Shanna to come to get an estimate and arrange for pick up within a months notice. The driver and two helpers were really good and efficient. They had everything packed in 4 hours in Thursday and was here at our door in Florida on Sunday and done unloading within 3 hours. No damage to anything. Since John was able to get the semi into the complex, we got a credit of over $880 since they didnt have to use a shuttle truck. They offered a guaranteed rate .

I contacted E E Ward for my move into storage until my new home is built and then my final move to South Carolina. Shanna came to my home to do a walk thru to quote the cost of moving. My company arranged the moving for me on January, its a great experience. I thought I would have lots of stuff to be moved, but they organized that efficiently within 3 hours, just using 10 boxes.Its a pleasant experience, James and Dan are pretty talktive and nice.

The movers were very experienced and got down to business as soon as they arrived. They throughly prepped the house prior to packing up and moving the items out to the truck. All types of packing materials were used and I felt confident that our belongings be be safely moved and stored. The movers were friendly and answered all my questions completely. A quality control person came by to check up on the movers’ progress and performance and asked if all was well. Before long all the items were in the truck, papers signed and they made sure everything in the house was as they found it. A great moving experience!

We recently used EE Ward to move across the country. Their customers service was GREAT until the actual move. The woman who gave us a quote was timely, friendly, and professional. We paid for packing and they budgeted two days -- the movers the day of were more than friendly, kind, and helpful. The foreman on the job asked the men to squeeze all of the packing into one day and later charged us overtime. We also had a few missing and damaged items when everything arrived at our new home. Some wear and tear is expected in a cross country move; however, EE Ward has not responded took weeks to respond to requests for repair and has flat out refused to compensate us for missing technology items. If you had asked me at the beginning I would have more than recommended EE Ward, but after it is all said and done I would never recommend based on the customer service on the back end. What you see is not what you get.Update: I have called, left a voicemail, and emailed the below contact and have not been contacted back. I am still missing a printer and paper shredder that EE Ward has refused to acknowledge, even after going through proper claims procedures.

My move from Charlotte area to Florida was a disaster! They decided to use 2 smaller trucks instead of one and one truck had a split load. They off loaded mine to put other load in front of trailer and re-loaded mine. I guess this was the problem, Thousands of dollars of my stuff was not reloaded. In any case many large boxes on the back part of my load did not make it and they were not able to locate.I expected maybe some damage, did not expect many things not making it at all. It is coming on 2 months now and still messing waiting to hear from their claims department. They want to know inventory number of items missing but their inventory list is useless. Descriptions are cryptic (picture, vase, etc.). Also the inventory was stopped well before end of loading. Many specific items that were lost are not on inventory for sure. I did have photos from the house prior and was able to show them photos of a number of the items. They dont doubt the stuff is missing, just dont seem to care to make it right.If you are thinking about using this company add 50% to their quote to cover follow on issues and compare that to competitive quotes. Or if you have stuff you cant replace DONT USE E.E. WARD!UPDATE:To add insult to injury they denied all items lost and only paid $200 total for the broken glass lamp shades I sent photos of! I guess this means they think I am lying? I dont know. So I paid them $9,000 to lose $3,000 worth of my stuff.Avoid this company at all costs!!!!!His comment of documentation not showing missing items is again because documentation was done very badly as to item inventory. They left Charlotte at 2:00 in the morning to arrive in Daytona at 2:00P.M. Last item unloaded at 8:00 pm and they were walking dead and all wanted to get to next stop. I did not realize that what they had me sign, 10 minutes after last item was off loaded, was validation that all items were accounted for! Should I have made them stay as I inventoried 2 trucks worth from an inventory list that didnt even reflect the last dozen or so boxes on load (as I found out later). The claims said because I did not claim items missing at that time they refuse all. An absolute scam logistical process for a company that is supposed to be logistical experts. The company got their moneys worth out of those employees that day, I did not!UPDATE 2:I was wondering how a company with such awful service could have only positive reviews? Today I got my answer. After 2 months of frustrating and unresponsive communications with E.E. Ward I received a letter saying if I remove all negative (honest) reviews online they will send me $1,000. I am sure they think I will be all over that offer but as they lost more than $3,000 worth of my belongings and have put me through a completely frustrating claims process only to get $200, they can keep the $1,000. I think it is more important that future customers know the truth about how they operate. Besides, their good faith offer would still leave me out $2,000.As I said previously, choose any other moving company other than E.E. Ward.

Our office just moved and EE Ward handled the move for us. They were wonderful!! They got the job done quickly and very professionally. Considering we had some unforeseen issues arise, like desks that couldnt fit in the door of the new office and had to be completely disassembled to one having to be brought through a patio style window, they handled every issue with grace. This was my second time using EE ward to move and they did an amazing job! E.E. Ward company delivered a mattress and foundation to me yesterday. The two guys did an excellent job. They called me when they were approximately 45 minutes from my home and then they were right on time. They had the old mattress and foundation removed and the new set up within a matter of minutes. They didnt leave until I had inspected the setup and was satisfied. They were very nice and professional.

A representative named Rhonda set up the delivery and was able to help solve some additional problems with the set up in my house. If I could give 0 stars I wouldThey were hired to deliver a bed and take and return a broken one under warranty.Refused to carry it upstairs because it was too heavy. We have the exact same bed upstairs. They bed company had no problems delivering it! We ended up rescheduling delivery. Called us a 4:55 the night before cancelled our delivery because they “lost” our bed. We tried to call them back they didn’t answer phone. Called the next day they said they got rid of it because it was “damaged”. They never told us any of this.We have been trying to get our bed from them for over 2 months.

This was our first interstate move and the EE Ward team did and outstanding job from start to finish. It started with the estimate with Abby in our home. She was incredibly thorough and very personable. She put us at ease right away. Sarah then flawlessly coordinated everything and continued to follow up each step of the way. Gino and his crew loaded us on time, took great care with our belongings and were very accommodating.The only issues we had were created by us. We packed on our own and I will NEVER do this again. It was very stressful and caused some issues with loading and unloading. Pay the professionals to do this. I wish I had.The delivery was great too. Kevin and his wife Tina were amazing too. The delivery was great! 20 minutes notice from a call....they backed a big moving van through our gate and down the driveway without touching the fence or the yard. They were in and out within about 5 minutes for the mattress delivery.Thank you!

We were very excited to have our new mattress delivered today. Jason and Nate called ahead of time to let us know they were on their way. I was particularly impressed by the great care and pride they took in protecting our home as well as our new bed during the delivery. Our home is 120 years old and has much of the original (and irreplaceable) carved wood “fretwork” and stained glass. They took notice and worked around it very carefullyThe whole delivery and setup process was complete in less than 30 minutes which included the removal of an impossibly difficult TempurPedic king mattress. Despite the fact that I’m sure there are time parameters assigned to specific jobs, I didn’t feel rushed and I didn’t feel like they were rushing. All debris and packing materials were removed by the crew and they made a specific effort to let me know they appreciated our business.We will be relocating a business in the next several months and I intend to see if we can again work with EE Ward for that job as well.Thank you, Jason and Nate, for your prompt and professional service. I just wanted to say thank you to James and Eric at EEWard for the smooth job they did with my mattress delivery. I have a small home, so it was a tight squeeze to get the new mattress set in and the old mattress set out. It was apparent that they were trying to be careful. My ceiling light is original to the house (1940s) and I forgot to take it down so it wouldnt get hurt, but there was no need to do that. Eric (if I mixed up the names, I apologize) carefully maneuvered around it without my saying anything. I really appreciated it! Thank you Eric and James.

I ordered a mattress online and the price included white glove delivery. They chose to use E.E. Ward as the delivery service.The coordinator at E.E. Ward was very polite and communicative at all stages, and apologetic when the delivery was delayed by a day. The two men who delivered the mattress arrived at the scheduled time, and although it was a challenge getting a king-sized mattress up a tight stairway they managed it. Thank you! There’s no way my husband and I could have done it on our own.
