Couple weeks ago I came to LKQ in Greer to buy a door. they charged me $117 for this door, when I asked them why is it so expensive they told me thats just the cost of the door I took the mirror off the door and some other parts to have it just a bare door when I got home I looked at my receipt and realized that they had charged me $23 for an extended warranty since I live in Charlotte North Carolina its an hour or more drive back to Greer so I finally got back there today ask them to refund my 23 dollars for the extended warranty and they refused they said that if I wanted it refunded I had to do it within 7 days they told me to have a good day and goodbye I feel like Ive been totally ripped off Ive never seen anything like this before beware and make sure you ask them not to charge you for an extended warranty unless you want one I will never shop at LKQ again
Got what I needed. Awesome sauce!)
On the website they said there were 4 cars to match the one I have. I got there to find there were 2 close enough for cross over. Paid $3 to go out search for a hour to find out there was no part. When I went back in I was laughed at and told thats the way it goes sometimes no refunds. I will not be back.
Theyre updating to keep better inventory. Create an account online and add the cars to your garage and youll get updates when your cars arrive in the yard. Get there quick or itll be picked over.
Great place to buy small individual pieces that break crack. Good pricing too. The hours could be better for those who dont work 8-5.
The prices are getting out crazy you out there doing the work then they want to charge you 25.00 for a part you looked up new with gasket for 22..i thought it was pick your part at a good price everyone is about ripping people off anymore.
Back to a scavenger hunt we go. Needed a new donut spare tire. They cannot be found anywhere, and if you do the tire will be rotten as mine was.So I called LKQ and located a car just like mine, same make, model and year and color. We took the entire rim with a good tire and beauty plate for $88.I have a rather large trunk so it doesnt matter that I will have to carry the rim and tire in trunk, but I wont be without a spare. The alloy rim would have cost more than $88.All vehicles are sitting on blocks so it was easily accessible to us. Just had to climb over lots in salvage car to engage the emergency break, to get rim to release. Not hard however its hot summer time.Call first and find out if they offer what you are looking for specifically. Then get a price. They will tell you what area, row and space your salvage vehicle is in. Pretty simple.Take all the tools you possibly need because they offer none. Nice people to work with, friendly. There are many LKQ locations and also one that will pick parts for you. For a increase in price.Go early morning when its not so hot and you will fair better. Happy scavenging!
I have no problem with the locations but my problem is the rude people you have to deal with when you call the 800 number. I live over an hour away from the two closest yards. I dont expect them to tell me if they have the specific part Im looking for but I was calling about a price for a very specific part that isnt on the online price list. Being able to call the actual location would have very likely gotten me the answer I needed but I was told that Id have to drive there and ask them. Wrong answer! They need to change it back where you can call each location. If they can pay these rude people to answer the 800 number lines they can pay someone at each location to answer phones!
1 star was too generous..Commission based sales staff immediately hang up on customers looking for smaller ticket items. If you’re not after an engine, trans, or other high dollar item be prepared to be left on forget, or just flat-out hung up on.They. Don’t. Care.
They always have the parts that we need to work on our vehicles and prices are pretty good to lol
The people treated well and from their web site located my parts easily, there layout of the vehicles was simple but very helpful
Took longer than I thought it would but found everything I needed. Yard was fairly well organized. Definitely my go to when picking my own parts.
You have to be very quick if you want to get parts there. Also, if you plan to get parts for an older vehicle 2008 back, youre going to do a lot of walking. Jim and Dodge parts seem to be in this year, so get there quick to get your part, or it will be gone. LKQ does not really keep their lots up that way youre going to be walking through a lot of mud, so if you have to work under a vehicle, look around at the other vehicles that are close to pull whatever padding or seats or whatever you can to keep yourself from getting soaked. Their core charges seem to be very high, and if you need a part where the car has to be moved to get to it, dont expect any help at all they just wont do it. Ask me about the difference from LKQ and the Pull-A-Part lots.
Great prices on used parts and they have a huge amount of cars
These guys are friendly and they have a great return policy.
Helpful friendly if youre actually looking for a specific part and they dont have it at that facility Dellfind it in your in other facilities even tell you what row its in
Nice selection of late model cars and has a nice staff.
The place is great, but the lanes are not mark well and it was not easy to find the cars you are looking for.
A great place to get the parts you need at a much lower than new cost. I would have paid over $500 for an ECM but it was only $80 for that and a few other small things
It was great being a woman that provided all the information I needed I will continue to use now
This place (here and the location on white horse road) has been amazing for me. Prices are good, service is always great. I rebuilt the front of my 2003 van and even fixed things that had been wrong for a long time with their help.
Great place get notified. By them by email show up early as soon as they put out your specific car. Since most likely someone else wants those parts. Ive gone a few time no luck on part Im looking for since i go a week after they put out cars but still can find things. Definitely recommend it
I just came back from there and to say Im a little confused is an understatement. I needed a tailgate cable and a rear taillight cover. They wanted $26 for the two. I can get a pair of cables new for 12 and a cover for 6. I just dont understand the pricing structure I guess. Seems a bit odd.
Big lot of cars and auto parts, take your time to walking and found what you need
Got the parts. Fun fun
If youre a DIY type person. This place is a must!!! Big selection & 🤔 I bet you gonna see something you werent even thinking of thats gonna make you come back 😜👍🏾
Wasnt to happy with the prices today. They seem to find ways to get all the money they can out of you. Got two used radios and now they charge a 16 dollar each warranty fee on top of a disposal fee. Almost put the parts back. I ask if they could take the fee off and was told no. The original price used to be 25 and come with a 30 day exchange. I still like going to the place and picking the parts, so I guess Ill just put up with.
People were nice and they had a nuce selection if cars
Beware LKQ Greer is charging people for extended warranties without asking make sure you check your receipt and dont get charged for an extended warranty you dont want.
I prefer this place over the one in greenville.laid out much better
The price has went up a comical amount. Like you can, without exaggeration, buy new parts for the price they charge you for used parts. Then they try to charge you for every single thing even if its not on the piece you pulled.
Costumer friendly fair prices and female employees
The parts they have here are really priced to sell.
Ok place for parts. Prices but mainly fees are the downside to their parts picking venture.
Sold my old car here and it was completely painless. Got a quote and brought it in the same day and it took less than 5 minutes for me to have a check for the same $ I was quoted online. 10/10 recommend for old junk cars.
Friendly staff, great parts interchange software... I have a 1997 mercury mountaineer and they didnt have another mountaineer but they had a 1997 ford explorer that had the same part I was looking for. Only tricky thing is finding the row that the car you need is on.
Read the reviews and was hesitant about going. However once I walked in, I was greeted and informed on how it works and even had a free admission pass which they honored without a hassle. It took some leg work but I got all the parts I needed and saved a ton of money. I will definitely be going back. Great experience
Charge you just to walk in.Also know more about the parts in the yard than they let on.I went to look at a Corvette payed my money and the part I needed was gone. The guy said oh yeah a guy just came for that. Then why let me pay to go see a part that is not there !
These guys out here are awesome give me the best price for my vehicle Id recommend them to anyone
Friendly customer service, great prices .Best place in the upstate. Hands down
Its good for you if you want to save money and do it yourself.
They sell you Their warranty program without asking check your receipts before leaving the place
Visit here often to get parts for all my friends and my vehicles.
All good, fair prices.
Went there for a drive shaft and they were bent or cut off the trucks I looked at to pay to get in and look for one, they should take better care of the cars
Nice people, most trucks already striped
I dont know the one guy but he stands alone, he is super friendly & helpful but pulling those parts you better be fit..
No parts left on the vehicles. Way over priced. Some parts are more expensive than new ones.
Staff is pretty friendly. Make sure you arrive at before closing hours because they will not help you if youre there after. My husband got there 20+ minutes before closing, but the line was still so long that he was told hed need to come back the next day. That was kind of a bummer. But he went back the next day and got everything sorted out.
Top dollar for buying a older vehicle, and they even came and picked it up
Poor customer service and wasnt willing to help right their own mistake
Graded it according to my brother, needed a couple of parts for his truck. If I ever need parts this is where Im going
The prices are getting more expensive year by yearIt seems like every time I go pull a part, the price of that part is allot more
Nice staff! Quick and easy!
Huge lot with a large selection of domestic and foreign cars and trucks. Friendly staff. Prices seemed reasonable and can be adjusted as to whether or not you need a warranty.
Expensive. Employees charge you for extended warranty without asking so be sure to check the price before you pay. Realized after I got home that I was charged extra for something I wasnt asked about.
Always a place to find what you are looking for and if this location doesnt have it check out the other one on white horse road. Just dont be putting parts in your pockets because they got ppl walking. Lol
Never found a better place to visit when it comes to cars
Good place for parts
Never will go back there I bought a transmission it had a 30 day Warranty Transmission did not work Brought it back 20 days later To swap it out to get another one They would not Warranty it Even though I had the receipt and their signature on the transmission And I buy a lot of parts from these guys They lost my business forever It was a bad experience I could not get my money back eaither I waste of 200 dollars
I like this location much more than greenville, less mud holes, its better mannaged. The prices are kinda high for a pull it yourself.
Charge extra for a 90 day warranty when I didnt want one, didnt even ask if I wanted the warranty
Long walk, well worth it.... neat experience...
Whenever I come to this site I find what I am looking for.
Almost all the parts you need.
Always have what I need.
Make sure you call them first too check & see if they have the car in stock that your looking for parts off of, their inventory changes all the time !!!👍👍✌😎
Love this spot.best place to get ur cheap car needs
Called to see if they had a part I needed in inventory. Was told yes the part was available.Went into shop, employee asked what I was looking for, they checked their inventory again to see if part was still there. As it is a first come first serve self-service faculty. Was told yet again the part was in stock.Paid the $3 entrance fee, go out to the yard to find the part, only top to find the part was already gone.Ask for refund of entrance fee and denied. Employee blamed call center they use for v looking into their system.Reminded them they had just also looked into their inventory and said it was available. Asked how it was possible that they sold the part if it was still in the system and why it wasnt updated since Every transaction had to go through the computer. All that was received was a shrug.
VERY organized and had more than enough of my vehicles make and model to choose from. Extremely pleased with my experience. I drove almost 2 hours and the trip was more than worth it.
Never will go back there I bought a transmission it had a 30 day Warranty Transmission did not work Brought it back 20 days later To swap it out to get another one They would not Warranty it Even though I had the receipt and their signature on the transmission And I buy a lot of parts from these guys They lost my business forever
Great service friendly people they answered all my questions that I had and more so glad I went there
Great for getting used parts and awesome and friendly staff
Price gouging..How can a few items that are small cost $54 ..Im talking small people..So be prepared to spend when you come to this place😤
Check your part price and get it in writing before wasting your time pulling the part!! My part was $103.36 online pricing guide, asked going into the facility, yes, that is correct. Wasted 2 hours pulling the part only to be told it was $356.76. Asked about the price difference and explained what I read and what I was told.... but the answer was I read wrong and the other employee misunderstood.
Great place to go. Found exactly what we needed. Somebody brought us water while we were working. Nice touch for service!
Can not go by price list on website. They always add on things. Pricelist for dual piston brake caliper is 21.14 but they dont tell you they also charge you 9.00 for brake caliper holder which is not on price list. Thought i would spend $25 on brake caliper but i ended up being 40.00 cause of brake caliper holder and the core for it. Great selection of cars and trucks. Just plan on spending more than what the price list states. This is 2nd time this has happen
Always consistent with good stock and selection
👍
Not at all organized. Prices to high for parts. After all the parts are used and you have to get part your self.
The guy charged me for a control arm instead of tierods which is what we got. Price difference is- CA 53.00. TR 11.00. 40 dollars i shouldnt have spent said thats how they charge like it or leave it! They are crooks here go to the greenville location way better customer service and not much hastle! Will not be back dgaf!!!! 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠
This place is great! They have a HUGE inventory and if they dont have it they usually can get it! Brian and Andy have helped me for years and anyone whoever has assisted me from LKQ in Greer has been professional, honest, fair and trustworthy! The team carries the knowledge at LKQ in Greer!
When I first visited this place I didnt know you had to pay a $3 entry fee. I thought I would be able to just go price, and look then decide if I wanted to purchase the parts needed or not. I was not dressed to walk the lot for the car parts. I thought it was a matter of having in stock what you need and you go pay for it, not realizing that you have to remove the parts you need yourself. Definitely not a place for an amateur. Need to know what and how you gonna get it when you roll up. Good customer service tho.
This place is amazing! Everyone is so nice, Preston had the best customer service. He helped me get everything that i needed and did everything with a smile. LOVE this place, and love their employees.
Great pick your parts yard, lots of vehicles to get parts from. I had a wrecked vehicle and it would have cost me about 4 to 5 grand to have it fixed if not more and I ended up being able to go here and pick every single part I needed to replace, even the same exact color to match the rest of my vehicle, for 300 dollars an some of my own time spend doing it and got my car back on the road. A wreck that had my car undrivable. Just call ahead to make sure they have plenty of that particular car for your to pick parts from because they have no way to tell you what parts are left on those vehicles. All in all great yard for parts at great prices.
Prices are outrageous!
Money hungry
There is one young guy there very mean I dont who he is but ?? he transferred from Greenville, but yard is very good only that there is some someone there who make you feel ............th be continued
$3 to get in. Its best to look online first to see if they have your vehicle year range. You will also find what row its on. Each row is marked on side of vehicle (#2) means row two. Found what I needed. Checked out in minutes. They do have wheelbarrows for your use. Must bring your own tools of course. Friendly.
Excellent customer service. Just gotta get there early to find what you need before someone destroys it (ugh!) Prices are very good too. Sign up LKQ online for rewards
Very disappointed in this lkq location. If you need a large part like a truck bed they dont have anyone to run the forklift on the weekends
Okay, I dreaded coming back here for a swap. I lost my receipt and was ready to do battle.... I walked in and was greeted by Manny at the counter... He spoke to Dana about helping me out. Not only did they take care of me he was completely professional and empathettic....!!!!Manny recommended me to sign up for a loyalty card so that way all my purchases would be on file so I would be all set if I ever lose my receipt again...... A+++Thank you so much for taking care of your customers... This is the way to run a business.... Thank you Dana & Manny
This place is absolutely amazing. The most friendly staff that Ive seen in a long time. They keep everything well maintained and will go out of their way to help you out. Definitely will be going back to this place. 10/10
Most of the times Ive been there, there are just a few parking spaces available. Its not too bad to get in and out of. Driving that is. Lots of vehicles, most of which have been picked through a lot. Expect to find broken glass and plastic in and around the vehicles. Also, some people just rip the vehicles apart instead of taking them apart. You will have to step over or on parts that are either thrown or placed on the ground. Prices are reasonable and the staff friendly.Remember this, YOU will have to remove the part you want. So, bring all the tools you will need to do the job.
The staff was all very nice and helpful
Watch the prices they give you.. they will change on you.. third row seats for Tahoes will be charged for two seats and suburban will be as one.. doesnt make sense.. the people that work there have no experience with cars or trucks..
Great place to find replacement parts. Just need to use your eyes and pick the best condition part you need that you kind find. Ive rebuild two Saab 9-3 convertibles thanks to lkq and will continue to do business with them .
Called to check and see if they had a specific unusual OEM part for an Infiniti q50 was on hold for 5 minutes which i didnt have a problem with. Then when a representative answered the phone they introduced themselves then just hung up. So mrs. Silvia if your reading this I hope you get fired for you terrible customer service and rudeness. Will be doing businesses elsewhere and will definently not recommend this place to other businesses partners.
