I had to go to Home Depot early in the morning to get a few things, and took my dog with me. Everyone there was so friendly and helped me to find everything I needed. My dog is shy going new places, and I felt so guilty because I forgot his treats at home to be able to reward him for his bravery of exploring Home Depot with me. When we got to the checkout, Avanell, the sweetest cashier ever, greeted us both, and had a big bag of dog treats. She asked me if it was okay to give him one, and needless to say, he was a very happy boy at the end of our trip. I think he will be tagging along every trip to Home Depot now, and I have a feeling he is going to try and find Avanell every time. :)

Set up floor installation through Home Depot. Had measurements made by a person Home Depot chose. Said measurement person stated we had an uneven spot in our from and had leveling material sent with our flooring material that took 3 months to arrive after we were told all the materials were in stock.The installers pulled out all the carpet after mentioning that they felt the unevenness in the floor. Now we are being told they cannot go any further. Furniture spread out all over the house, no carpet in bedroom and closet, only ply wood in the the room and we are told sorry. It’s on you now.When we called the person over the installers he said we could put down sheet vinyl in our bedroom. That will really help the resale value of the house.Worst experience ever!! And we are told “well hope you can figure it out!”BS Home Depot. Thanks for leaving your customers in the lurch.

We love Home Depot for all our home improvement needs! Great location. Clean and well stocked. Even through the pandemic this location has remained consistent. No shortage of change. No lack of employees. Per usual the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their product.

Went for Lutron Caseta Lamp Models. Not on shelf where online directory said to go. Sales rep took me to discontinued end cap. Said product not selling in the store. Problem is HD doesnt try to sell high-end products, and Caseta is high-end SMART HOME lighting controls. And they didnt markdown the price for clearance pricing. Only wanted 1. Bought 2. Price was lower than Amazon.

I’ve been shopping at this Home Depot for a few years, so I’ve had my fair share of customer service headaches, but most of the time you will have a good shopping experience here. The majority of their staff are very friendly and helpful! Child and dog friendly store.

Home Depot needs to quit being cheap and turn the Air on. The store was hot and I walked out because of it.

I went to the Home Depot on Wade Hampton looking for scented pine sticks for the Christmas tree. I asked a few employees where they were located and they said they were sold out. Didnt even try looking. I ran into Kevin, he stopped what he was doing, and he took me to a computer where he said I could order them. He continued to look for the pine sticks and found them in the store! They had moved them during night shift. Kevin went above and beyond to help me. Next time you are in the home and garden section look for Kevin, he is an outstanding employee and needs to be acknowledged. Thanks.

HONESTLY just started shopping at Home Depot regularly. We usually would go to Lowes. But, I do really like Home Depot better. Its way more laid back and the customer service is way better! For sure no where near as hectic as other stores. Someone is always near by if you need help. It may not be as massive as others but I would rather shop somewhere thats friendly and willing to help instead of being ignored. Home Depot will have our business now. I have already told others how much of a good diffrence there is between here and Lowes.

Home Depot in Greer has never been good with customer service. If not for the corporate advertising and the few items that are exclusive to Home Depot which are sometimes cool, I dont see how it could compete with the Lowes across the street. I know there are disgruntled employees in everyones work force but H D seems to have way more than there share. It shows in the mess the store is kept and the care less if your there attitude. It all seems to point to management and the way they treat and manage there people. I recommend Lowes. I feel appreciated and someone is always willing to help.

Purchased some retaining wall block and some soils on line, set up the delivery date and paid. Order was placed on May 13th, 2021 and the earliest they had was May 25th from 6am-8pm. Followed the tracking all day and when in came mine it was crossed out!!!!!! Called the home office who then contacted the store. She spoke with asst mgr Mark who told the lady he would look into it and then give me a call. He was on duty until 9pm. Needless to say, never got my order, never got a call from the store or Mark and still have no idea when Ill receive my order. Last time Ill ever do business with Home Depot in Greer SC. Lack of respect for the customer and p@#s poor customer service.......................................

Home Depot in Greer is a good store. I find the staff more helpful than Lowes. Lowes is a bigger store with more stuff, but stuff is harder to find. Home Depot will give you more help, and they listen.

They have some knowledgeable employees who are very helpful. Not add knowledge as Lowe’s across the street, but still good to get help when needed.

The reason for a 4 star review is simple. I went to HD to find a way to keep my water hose from freezing at my RV as I looking at different things I was asked by an HD employee who actually have any idea really what I needed she worked in the flooring Department however she got on her phone and called someone who came to my rescue by giving me a couple of different ways to take care of my needs. Truly you couldnt ask to be treated better anywhere. Thats one of many reasons I chose Home Depot and thanks for all your help.

I bought a garage door opener and the sales person, Jacqueline who helped me was useless. At register, she wouldnt give me vet discount. I asked for someone to install and she gave me free consult for closet organising. When I got home I had to call home depot for installation of my new garage door openerSketchy.

Inventory low. Missing some items. Should have maybe 2 large stores not 4 halfway stores in Greenville area. Any other town I go to has full size stores very frustrating....

Horrible! My wife and I ordered a door that showed up damaged over a month ago. The store sent it back and the new door was supposed to be in May 7. It hasnt shown up so we asked for a refund and we keep getting excuses. I have even called the corporate offices in Atlanta and still we havent heard of a refund coming which is over $800.

I am anti Lowes. I worked there and it has a horrible working enviornment, poor management, and huge turnover. So I only shop at Home Depot no matter what. Improvements need to be made. First of all theres never anyone around if you need to ask a question or where something is. Second, the paint department is one of the most important in the store and needs to be properly staffed. My experience was poor. The lady was rude and not helpful at all. I found things she said they didnt have. She treated me as if I was interrupting her day. Her shift had just started. She had no other customers.My previous trip to the paint dept was equally as bad in the opposite way. A gentleman was alone with many customers. He was seamlessly handling the situation. Everyone was content. Then his supervisor appears and begins to interrogate him about what he was doing, who he was waiting on etc...in front of everyone. I got his name and called the manager.Remember, this is just the paint department, not the whole store.

I wish there was more cashiers working the register. Only had 1 cashier working and 1 employee watching the customers scan&pay for items.

They never have more niche tools like a hand auger, which to thier credit, apparently noone in the state sells one. But if your looking for tools, they haveem.

Ordered online for pick-up. We were early according to them (2 hour delay from time of order) so I went inside to find 2 associates picking orders together which is non-productive when the order only contains 3 2x4s, 2 sheets of drywall that is quarter inch, and 5lbs of sheetrock compound. When I spoke with lady up front she was rude when I asked if I should wait in online pick-up or come back stating I dont care what you do. So I canceled order and went across the street to lowes.

For an older store, it could use an interior facelift. The Lowes directly across the street is much newer, price competitive, and handles some of the same brands in appliances.

I needed a new microwave and went in to buy one and was informed that they no longer carry appliances in the store but that I could have one delivered and they didnt have a floor sample of the one I wanted. Walked out and wont go back to their appliance department.

Home Depot and Lowes carry the same products, for the most part. Ive probably go a dozen of these big box stores within about the same driving distance. What sets the stores apart more than anything else is service:. availability, knowledge, attitude. Thats a store management thing. This home Depot takes second in my ranking.

Bought a mower. Took less than minute. Bam!

What can I say. HD is just not up to par. Go almost daily as Im in construction. Went in last week, paid for a rather large order of lumber to be picked up 3 days later. Was not ready and took over 2 hours to get it loaded. Without my receipts would have been a disaster, theirs was wrong. And I did all this thru the pro desk, really.

I walked in was greeted immediately by an employee who directed me to the plumbing department where I was greeted by yet another employee who explained in depth the differences in the water heaters explained the different ways to install the water heaters and help me decide which way was best for me helped me load it by the time I got out of check out and brought my truck to loading area employees were waiting to load me absolute best experience ever!

I love the Home Depot personally. Its my first Go To place when we are tackling a do it ourselfer, flooring and appliances. Ive enjoyed many purchases using my card and paying no interest from six months to eighteen months. You cant beat that. We were in today to pick up some red Christmas lights for some last minute decorating and of course they had the perfect ones. I was very near the service desk and I asked if I could just pay for the three boxes there. The lovely lady behind the desk handed my grandson the gun and asked him to scan the boxes and how to do it for the same item times three. Is that incredible customer service or what? I loved that! Any wonder why I shop there first for everything?
