Tech called and expressed his arrival time at my home. And greeted me, gave me his name and proceeded to remove parts and install replacement parts and filter and test unit by heating up Pyrex cup.with water and temp reached, lights withn microwave on, complete buzzer sounded when temp reached, check door and set Clock. Clean work area and discard trash from replacement parts boxes. Informed me that unit was now OK And OK for use as needed. If any future problems call ASI and have a good weekend and I wished him the same.

I Called to have a repair person come out and repair my dryer and a freezer. The person who I talked to started talking about pricing with a condescending voice. Well, she said, “just to come out it will cost X amount of money just to look at the dryer and we charge extras also for the other and that will cost you X amount of money. This is extra over the price of repairs.” which the repair may not happen, but you still have to pay. I just wanted my appliances repair not a condescending lecture on pricing. No thank, I will call someone else.

The service was great. The repairman found the problem & solved it. He was very professional. The repairman called me in advance to confirm the appointment & let me know he was on the way. He had the safety equipment (mask, foot coverage & floor protection). I would definitely recommend them.

Came under whirlpool warranty service for ice and water maker not working. 4 months later, still not working. Waited first 2 months for a part, then apparently tech did not diagnose properly and needed different part. 3rd visit came and tech changed something, didn’t bother checking if the ice maker is even working. Call them back right away and leave a message, no response.Called whirlpool and they said appointment for next Monday. Monday comes and no one shows up.Call these guys back and they have no record. And after we told them that they didn’t even fix the problem, we were told we have to deal with Whirlpool again.First complaint date was January 26th and today (May 10th) with 3 visits later this company is unable to fix an ice maker and takes no responsibility either.If I could do zero stars, I would.

The repairman and office staff were very nice. They had to order part for my stove. Its been one week so far. Hopefully will get it repaired soon as Ive been without a stove for one month!

The guy that was sent out the first time to our house for the service call didn’t even look at the oven. He told us the part and left. We called back and had him come back again because we were not satisfied since he did nothing and could have told us over the phone and how was he sure it was that part. He came back a second time and took out the oven and pressed a restart button which didn’t work and then told us the part that needed to be replaced. The quote was astronomical, so we ordered it from a reputable company and put it in ourselves and it didn’t work. We had an electrician tell us how to test that part to make sure it wasn’t it. We tested it, and it worked. The worker who came out twice should have tested that part to make sure that was the problem. Instead, he guessed and told us the wrong part, and we wasted over $200 between the part and the service call. Not to mention another $800 on a whole new oven. We should get our money back for the service call. I called the manager to request a refund. First, we left three messages and waited two weeks for a return call and never got one. Finally, I called again and talked with a lady manager who continued to argue with me over the phone somehow blaming us and saying we should have had someone look over that guys work. Why would we do that? We trusted that the company sent out someone who knew what he was doing. Also, she said she was going to email us the reports and never did. We are completely dissatisfied with this company and will not recommend it to anyone! This is one of the worst, if not the worst, experiences we have had with a company. Not only did the worker not know what he was doing, but the manager lacked empathy and refused to give us money back for a job that was done wrong.

Found problem and repaired

This review is related to a kitchen aid dishwasher. It had a malfunction after 3 months of use. After waiting for 3 weeks from the initial visit by the technician, I called the service people. I was told initially that the part that needs to be replaced in the dishwasher was back ordered. I was given a number to contact for more info. When I called that number I was told that the part is available and they would ship it asap. Again I was not given any update in the following weeks. Eventually when I called a few times I was told that they have the part and would be able to come and replace it. It took about 10 days for them to schedule the appointment from the time they had the part. The total wait time was 45 days which is unacceptable by any means to repair a dishwasher. Humor is that I keep getting emails from kitchenaid to buy more of their service products and appliances.

James is a very focused worker he gets the job done fast. But he WILL show you how to do things. For instance the handle was loose on the freezer door. He showed me that it takes an 1/8 Allen wrench from the side ( hidden- not where you would expect to adjust it) teaches me how to fish. Also explained that the coldest setting is actually 7 not 1. So the highest number is actually the lowest temp. Explains why ice maker barely worked. He had to get a new door switch and by the return trip we were making tons of ice. You can hear that thing dropping ice all day long. He also had suggestion for what to do about the dryer over temp problem even tho it was not a part of the service call. James is awesome!!! Would recommend you to everyone.THANK YOU

The service man that came out to fix our Fridge (Derek in Simpsonville) was great. Very professional and friendly. He was able to fix everything even with the issue of not being able to pull the fridge all the way out. He was in and out within an hour. Thanks Derek.

Our washer started making a loud screeching sound in September. ASI was sent by Maytag to service it. We were quoted an outrageous $747 for repairs. Maytag agreed to cover parts, if I paid over $200 in labor. Tech came out a month later and changed every part except the two that are covered under warranty. Washer still didn’t work. It was the drive motor, which has a 10 yr warranty. It is now January 5th, and they have still not returned. I’ve spent over 12 hrs on hold. Do not use ASI if you are not required by warranty to do so. Incompetent technician and zero customer service.

The repairman had a great professional attitude was able to diagnose the problem and had the parts of available to repair it immediately excellent job by this company.

The repair technician was friendly and knowledgeable, but most importantly - honest. Before doing any major work, he suggested cleaning out my washers pump which was far less expensive. I will use this company again when a need arises.

The absolute worst company I have ever come in contact with, they came toke $250 to diagnosis the problem with the washer, the employee didnt wear a mask, super unprofessional! He actually was here for less than a minute and told us the wrong issue with the washer. So, We had to buy a brand new washer so all together over 1000 spent. We spoke to someone from the Greer location named Allie, she was extremely rude, and would not refund us the money for their mistake. Whatever you do, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I appreciate the service ASI offered me on my dryer. I opted to have it repaired rather than buy a new one considering the price, having to buy a new pedestal since the size had changed, and I wanted it to match my washer. Ryan did a great job and it works like new. I was pleased with his knowledge and his work. I feel I can trust my dryer to give me a few more years of service until I want/need to replace both washer and dryer.

ASI is the company chosen by Kitchen Aide for warranty work. Issues with our new refrigerator were quickly diagnosed, parts ordered and then repaired. Our home was treated respectfully and everything was cleaned up like no one had been working on our appliances. Appreciate the professionalism.

The ASI service call was a poor value as they could not deliver the parts and repair in a timely manner and at a reasonable value. They quoted an excessive parts price and repair when in fact on our own we were able to order the part at a much lower price and install it ourselves. They would not discount the service call fee even though they were unable to deliver a quick repair as promised.

I cant recommend ASI enough! ASI is the second company thats looked at my microwave/oven combo. The first company said that nothing was broken, but Kari at ASI was able to quickly diagnose and fix our issue. We were having issues with the water dispenser on our beautiful Whirlpool Refrigerator side by side. We had just put in a new filter a couple of months ago, as it turned out the filter was a faulty one and I had to return it back to Lowes and get a new one. It worked great after that.

ASI repairs our appliances under a warranty program for Whirlpool. We have had so many different issues with our wall ovens. ASI has been fantastic. No matter which technician they send they are top notch. The call starts with a call from the technician letting us know they will be arriving in approximately 20-30 minutes. They are always on time, wear booties to cover their shoes and are polite, respectful and knowledgeable. They are a five star company.

I had several complaints - the interior light would not work, the starter button would occasionally not function correctly, and there was a constant thump as the drum rotated. The technician opened the dryer, discovered that there were some electrical connections that needed to be tightened. I had thought the bulb (its not a bulb, its an LED) was bad, but the technician pointed out that normally if the light didnt turn on, neither would the dryer itself. The renewed electrical connections solved the first two problems, and he indicated the thump was not a sign of a malfunction. I was satisfied.

I had my Whirlpool refrigerator for one year and one month and the compressor died. ASI came right out and they are part of Whirlpool. I got panicky when I heard the compressors were on indefinite backorder as I had just sold my house. ASI got on it, put me on a priority list, got a compressor, sent out two pros to get it changed and it is fixed. Ill make my closing date. They fellow were knowledgeable and got the job done. They were pleasant. They were TIDY!!! (Cleaned up after themselves and put down drop cloths!) It felt like a disaster was looming and I will buy Whirlpool on everything from now on.

I actually have no suitable words to review this company, they were the most rude, terribly unprofessional company I have ever come in contact with. Whatever you do, do not contact this company to come fix anything, all they do is take your money, and don’t accurately diagnose the problem. Our refrigerator was not cooling right at the start of COVID shutdowns. ASI was able to visit quickly, and safely diagnosed then fixed the issue the same day. Technician was professional, polite, and knowledgeable - he explained (from a distance) everything he did and why he did it. Has been running great since. Will no doubt call ASI for any repair needs in the future.

The young man that did the work for us, (Cant remember his name), but he was a pleasure to have working in our home. He was so quick and quiet, we couldnt tell he was here until we heard the washer running with no noise or problems. Would welcome him back to do more repairs if the need arises in the future. We have used ASI for repairs on three or more occasions. They are courteous, prompt and pleasant to work with. We have always felt their charges were fair and necessary. They do not take advantage of customers by charging for unnecessary work.

This was a warranty call. Tech responded and actually found there probably was no issue. I thought the temperature was incorrect. The Tech had me do a wet test with a meat thermometer in a cup of water instead of an old air thermometer I was using. The temperature was perfect.

Matt was great. Communication with office was excellent. Dryer seems to be fixed. Very pleased.

It took several tries, but with a supervisor’s help the issue with our ice maker was resolved. I’m not sure if the original diagnosis was correct, but I am satisfied with the outcome. ASI stuck with it until the issue was resolved.

The repair person showed up when scheduled. A part had to be ordered for my dishwasher and was in earlier than expected; an install date was set immediately, meaning downtime was much less than anticipated. Also, I received courteous and professional service.

Our Jenn Air wall oven microwave stopped working before it should have. Unfortunately, when the guys diagnosed the various issues it would have cost nearly as much for the repairs as buying a new one. We opted for an inexpensive GE instead. Technician JD arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable about our appliance and concerned that he could repair it rather than replace. However, due to its age, replacement is the only option. JD then provided us with local sources for a new appliance. We would highly recommend ASI as they are friendly and customer focused.

OVERPRICED RIP OFFThey pressured me into getting my almost new oven fixed by them and charged me double of what it should’ve cost. When I tried to talk to customer service about this issue, the customer service lady laughed at me. When I told her that I got several other quotes that her less than half of what they charged and would like a price match, she told me “good luck”. ALL I WANT IS A PRICE MATCH REFUND. Please take my advice and look elsewhere for your servicing needs.

How could one do any better than Authorized Service, Inc.? We have been in this house for over fifteen years and have only used this appliance repair company. Matt has been with them forever. This company obviously treats their technicians very well as they do not have employee turnover. Matt is knowledgeable on all of our appliances. We are fix it if possible kinda of people. One of our repairs recently was to a new refrigerator was still under warranty. This call and quite involved. The repair was done quickly and we never have had any more issue with this appliance. No call backs ever on other times we use Authorized for repairs. Matt shows up with a big peace of plastic and lays this down on your floor. He also wears slippers and puts these on after he comes through your door. All the technicians arrive ready to work and all are remarkably organized. They take care of their tools and equipment. You never know they were here when they leave as they are very careful and extremely neat . You know what the charges will be and everything is explained thoroughly and in a way you can understand. Their prices are competitive and they are highly skilled. Five full stars here and nothing less. Thanks Authorized.

We were frustrated as our 6 year old KitchenAid refrigerator stopped cooling. We tried everything to fix it ourselves but could not find the problem. We called ASI and the technician came within 30 minutes on a Friday afternoon and identified the problem. The relay switch stopped working and had to be replaced. It signals the condenser to come back on for cooling. We were very grateful. The repairman got right down to work and fixed it in 30 minutes. Our bill including the $90 service call was $270. It sure beat the heck out of the competition in product knowledge and responsiveness. I highly recommend this company for applicable large appliances.

Kari my technician was prompt... very professional (wore booties and utilized a floor protector)... she found the issue by process of elimination quickly... then it was oops dont have that part in my van... left my home to go get one at the warehouse and came back within an hour and completed the repair.
