The atmosphere is unique in a good way. The upstairs provides a good view where to enjoy their delicious food and/or drinks with a friend or while studying or reading 📚. As expected, most things are very pricey, but good. Some of their drink sizes are pretty small for the price i.e. hot mocha

I come here when I am home to have a quiet place to work and to get together with friends. Wonderfully decorated and friendly staff. Each experience I have had was top notch. Let me say again... the coffee is WONDERFUL and I have never been let down. 10/10 recommend.

I love the atmosphere of this place. Cozy enough to not feel awkward enjoying it alone for a quiet minute, but comfy enough to bring friends and family to enjoy a meal and time together! Their staff is warm, friendly, and welcoming. There are so many options and treats that its so hard to choose! However, the tomato pie is absolute perfection every time.I love the shop options too. So many ideas and inspiration from decor to cooking!This is truly my favorite spot in Uptown Greenville!

Highly recommend and a great atmosphere. I took my girlfriend here for a Saturday morning breakfast and we were both impressed. The food comes out on these stone serving trays which only adds to the nice atmosphere!!(There is also a furniture and home store attached which we did not go to but it looked nice, will have to go back for that!)

The barista guy is so friendly. He always makes an effort to talk with you and makes very good coffee. The coffee served has great flavor. I enjoy the atmosphere and the people who work here.

Food was so overpriced. Everything in the whole complex was overpriced. Gave me the wrong quiche and salad. I absolutely HATE the birds in the cage . 4 birds in a tiny cage so cramped. Could not even fly. The cage was very dirty. One bird looked very sick. My quiche was tasty but not very warm. My husband had the club really enjoyed it. But overpriced. Asked a girl in the design studio about the birds shrugged off my concerns. Cute place overall.

Coastal Fog was a pleasant experience in many ways. The food was fresh and used local farm raised products. While youre waiting there is a floor area shop with handmade merchandise from local artisans and Craftsman as well as food items and local produce. We didnt have any but theres also an extensive coffee menu. Went there with my wife for lunch date. Very nice atmosphere with very friendly staff. The seating for eating is in the loft that overlooks the store and counter area. I recommend you check it out if you havent already.

Fairly pricy but the food is yummy the presentation is gorgeous the atmosphere is a delight and the free WiFi is a true blessing to grad students just looking for a place to get some work done. Overall a wonderful addition to the Greenville community.

Very nice atmosphere. I ordered the French dip, the bread was hot but the meat was ice cold almost like it had been frozen. I probably should have taken it back but it took a while to get our order to begin with .

It a good relaxing place to eat a healthy meal. It is also place where home goods are sold. Dont pass this local opportunity to eat and relax.

Be prepared to spend a little more than average on lunch, but amazing flavors and you can taste the quality and freshness. My wife and I were very impressed with the menu and our choices. Coffee, pastries, baguettes, sweet Christmas! I could have eaten three of the Italian baguettes because it was that tasty. Really cool wine BTG selection.

This restaurant is great for Sunday Brunch. Now they do stop serving breakfast before the typical Church crowd comes, but their lunch menu is great. I recommend the 1/2 and 1/2 meal with a panini and soup. It is very filling and worth going straight to lunch food.

Love the atmosphere of this place. Food portions are a bit skimpy to be honest though. 1 slice of turkey on a salad or a sandwich... now thats just not right.

Visiting from out of town and wanted to find a local coffee shop to use the wifi. Found a free parking space right in front so went here. Definitely upscale, but I got a seat at the bar in the window and easily ignored what was going on behind me. Got a delicious cappuccino with beautiful latte art and a delicious turkey, apple, brie panini for lunch. Excellent service, food, drinks, and wifi. Connected to fancy home store.

I think it would be hard to find a cafe/store as beautiful or with as many quality goods than this one! You will fall in love with the dreamy, southern charm and decor and will stay for the delicious treats at the market! By far and away my favorite place in Greenville.

Dear Coastal Fog,So today. My friends and I went there to grab coffee around 1030. A blonde hair lady approached us around 1145. I am thinking either the owner or the manager. She was asking us if we were going to grab lunch and was telling us the lunch crowd was coming in, they needed more seating. Then she asked us could she use this table and which is very understanding. She proceeded to say, We need to pay the bills. Well you know what. That is very unprofessional. I get it is COVID restrictions but that is not an excuse for bad customer service. The lack of professionalism and not even accomendating people either. As a Greenville local and ECU alumni I am very disappointed in the customer service my friends and I received from you guys. I will not return to overpay for mediocre coffee.Thanks, Dusty!

Walked in of a Saturday and was utterly enchanted by this most magical, fantastical gem of a shop and café with beautiful interiors and delicious food! The staff were so sweet, friendly and attentive. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I was so excited to try Coastal Fog but was disappointed at how my roommate and I were treated by who I assume was the manager. After purchasing our coffee, he approached us to tell us we had a 30 minute time limit because he didnt want Coastal Fog to be the new library. The restaurant was basically empty and we did not see him approach any other students or customers that were there. If that was the rule it should have been posted outside or before we bought coffee! We do not wish to return after how unwelcome we felt.

Great food, really interesting items for sale, and very friendly staff. Its a little difficult getting upstairs with your food but it was worth it.

Sometimes the food goes to the wrong table, but this experience is few and far between. Its a quite little college-coffee spot, plenty of seating and quite music to study to.

Beautiful place, excellent service and good coffee. Had the quiche. It was baked perfectly with a light, flaky crust.

A breath of beauty and sophistication for the Greenville area. Excellent food, coffee, and service. Wonderful, eclectic decor offerings and books. Plenty of seating, naturally decorated interior, balcony and outdoor tables. The combined scents vary from mild florals and woody to coffee shop and bakery. Something one would find in Asheville or Chatleston SC. Thank you! to those that brought this business idea to Greenville and made it available.

After seeing this place downtown for some time now, I finally decided to stop in for brunch. Inside, it is well decorated and feels welcoming, with a generally contemporary cafe feeling. The menu for breakfast is reasonably short, but its fairly easy to find something to eat. There is a good selection of coffees and teas, as well as alcoholic drinks like wine and beer.My croissant sandwich was very good, and I was pleased with how quickly it came. All in all I think it was a good quick brunch experience.

I like the food, I like the atmosphere, but they are not equipped for any rushes...I ordered my food online and waited until I got the email on when to pickup. I went in and asked two different employees and they said they were working on it. They werent it was done and sitting on the counter...by the time I got someone to actually look, my food was cold. It was sitting there ready just like the app said it would be. Maybe its a workflow issue, Im not sure but I sure am frustrated.

Nothing to eat here for vegans. Well I bet you can find something on the menu but I didn’t for lunch. Great atmosphere and a very unique store. My wife loved this place to look around. I give it 5 starts for the atmosphere and 1 Star for vegan options.

Some people love it, but not my cup of tea. The atmosphere is weird. Fancy presentation on slate for a fairly basic sandwich and plastic silverware. The espresso is pretty good.

Thank you for the best customer service! I had a delicious lunch at Coastal Fog yesterday and picked up some cinnamon rolls to take to my coworkers. However when I returned to work, opened the box, there were less rolls than I paid for. After I called to let them know the problem, they delivered extra rolls. What wonderful customer service and fantastic rolls!!

Honestly the best cafe I have ever been too, their quality control on food and beverages is flawless, wish I lived here so I could come here more often. But for now, it will remain my favorite cafe in all of North Carolina!

If you are anywhere near Greenville, you absolutely must go to Coastal Fog! It is an amazing experience for all your senses! The egg bacon cheese biscuit is out of this world! My husband said the blueberry muffin was the best he has had! The staff are super friendly! Shop for gifts for everyone on your list! You MUST check CF out!

This place is amazing! The baked goods and coffee is delicious in their market and offer many other items such as sandwiches and salads. The other half of the store has contemporary and modern home furnishings. They also have best smelling candles. I wanted to purchase every single one.

Delicious food and nice ambience! I came here on a Sunday morning around 10 (the opening time) to order brunch, which was an egg salad sandwich and iced tea. My only complaint is that they did not have any sweet tea, so I got unsweetened tea instead (but I personally didnt mind) :D Also, the food was a bit on the pricier side for the portions you get, but again, the food is absolutely marvelous! Also, they have adorable birds on the interior design side of the establishment! Coastal Fog may have an all-neutral color scheme throughout, but thats just part of the rustic coastal charm! I highly recommend going here if you are seeking a nice venue in Uptown Greenville to chat/socialize with friends and eat a lil somethin :D

This place has the most delicious selection of sandwiches that Ive had in a long time. Loved the environment and the food was exceptional. If it wouldnt have been lunch I would have ordered 3 sandwiches instead of one. I especially love the Italian sandwich on baguette. I highly recommend you try this place!

Lots of variety and unique finds in this home goods store which is beautifully arranged. Lunch was delicious, nice menu, somewhat pricey. Seating in the main area is crowded, but there are alternatives. Nice ambience and friendly staff.

The environment here is very clean and laid back. The lattes were good and the food is beautifully displayed. The cinnamon rolls were super yummy, but they do cost a bit as many coffee shops do. Overall I love this place a lot, everyone has a common color scheme and the light colors are very calming.

Service is more often than not, painfully slow. Prices are high, but thats what you get when theres little competition. With that said, could Coastal Fog not invest in some actual silverware and do away with the single-use plastics?

A slice a home away from home for me. Love the atmosphere and the home feeling it gives-also the food is amazing. However the only thing I would want is a sugar free choices when it comes to the coffee.

Food and drinks are great as always! They were a little busy so it took a bit for me to get the food when I didnt have that much time. Its completely understandable to br busy and have a wait of some sorts, but I waited twenty minutes for 2 sandwiches and a cup of soup. However, my girlfriend said their matcha latte was the best she had and my cortado was superb and incredibly smooth. We were just a bit rushed to eat and the wait didnt help. An overall positive experience and highly reccomend for superb sandwiches and drinks!

Beautiful inside, the ambience is comfortable and quiet; a great place if youre looking for somewhere to study. The cafe sells delicious desserts and drinks at reasonable prices. Be sure to stop and say hello to the budgies!

Veggie soup and sandwich was delicious! What impressed us the most is when the manager/owner comes to your table and ask you how was everything. That personal touch is important. We will be back.

Sausage egg and biscuit was huge and delicious!!! Their pastry was very good too. It felt like upscale breakfast/brunch. Ooo their chicken salad crossiant was one of the best! Chunks of grapes in there and it wasnt overpowered with mayo. Love the environment and atmosphere setting. We sat upstairs and it was nice to look at the decor downstairs!

Super beautiful to get some work done at! Love the balcony area for some quiet separation. A tad pricey for a college kid but its a nice break for the regular!

I always enjoy a visit to Coastal Fog. The atmosphere is unmatched, though it can get a bit loud around lunch time. The coffee is solid and their craft foods are delicious, though a little pricey. I recommend a visit for studying and/or small meetings.

A place that sells real coffee and not just quickly made syrup. It had a very carolina feel which was very enjoyable. My only issue is that the pricing is a little on the higher side, however normal for American cafe pricing, cafes in Europe tend to be half the price. However as I stated it is about the same price as Starbucks for coffee that is actually hand made and tastes absolutely better than the latter. The only tlreal complaint I had would be at times it is hard to find a spot to sit.It also has a very nice store inside with pleasant articles however I did not peruse to see the types of goods that were inside, so I cannot comment on that.If youre coming to town or going to downtown for a day and would love to grab coffee it is a great place to try.
