Well, they charged me 32 dollars to install a bolt. Might I add I went to the junkyard myself the day before and pulled the bolt off on a similar car in less than 15 minutes. They were nice enough this last time to show me exactly what was broken relating to my alignment. They are continuing to honor the 1 yr alignment and this diagnosis was free of charge, said bring it on back with that part on and theyll get me driving straight 👌for my car getting ready to pass 275k miles, the 1 year alignment was totally worth the extra cash. Hell it pays for its self after the 2nd alignment.

Ordered a tire on Amazon and was able to schedule with Sears directly when ordering, which I LOVE!. They were professional and I wasnt there an unreasonably long time for the tire change. When they recommended a new battery (which I was aware I needed) they presented me with the test results and I was just asked, not pressured, if I wanted it while I was there. I will def be going back here for future service.

I was standing at the door when they opened it. Ihave been here 2 hours and 15 minutes for a tire rotation. My truck is still on the lift. I have no idea how long i may be here. They have 2 people running the cash register and one man working in the garage. This is ridiculous. Tell my family i love them if i die in this waiting room.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! A little over a month ago I went here (my first time ever going to a mechanic) because I heard clanking noises in my car. Turns out I had an oil leak (a couple oil leaks they told me). They told me to come back when I got my engine steam cleaned so they could do a dye test, couldn’t find anywhere to do it so one of the employees told me to come back in and they would clean the engine off and then do the dye test for me and I said okay! I came in the next day and they took my car and didn’t tell me much about what they were doing but that was fine cause I didn’t know anyways. Once finished the mechanic comes out and said that he fixed one of my leaks (without my permission may I add) but said he had to do it in order to find where the other leak was. I told them okay because at least one leak was done and they told me it was going to be 100 to finish looking from the dye. After a while he comes back and proceeds to tell me that in order for him to continue LOOKING that it would cost me $500+. I politely declined and told them I had to think about it. I end up going to another mechanic just for that mechanic to tell me there’s no way they did the oil dye! I called sears back and spoke with the manager and turns out they DIDNT DO IT!! So what did I pay $100 for????? Oh for them to LOOK. I have been calling cooperate for a month now trying to get my money back because they took advantage of me not knowing what was going on and lied to me! I have gone to another mechanic and they fixed the problem and it wasn’t at all what sears was leading me to believe!!! Cooperate then had the nerve to tell me that this shop did an oil dye when they told me and my mother they did not!! And then cooperate switched it to that it was a labor fee even though they just told me that they did the dye but now they didn’t and it was a labor fee. This is ridiculous and they’ve cost me more money having to go to mechanics than I should have had to pay!!!!! The woman I spoke to with corporate told me that it wasnt that they took advantage of me its that this shop needs to work on their communication... AT MY EXPENSE

Came here after shopping around online for tires. When I arrived, I was quoted a price quite a bit higher for the four tires + installation than what was shown online. As I was already there and I needed new tires badly, I decided to go ahead with it anyway, despite the mismatch between the website and in-store pricing.I parked my truck, as instructed, *right in front of the front door to the lobby*, handed over my keys, and was told there would be a bay open within the next half-hour and that my truck would be ready to go in 2 to 3 hours. So I walked around Friendly Center for a while, had a coffee, and headed back over to Sears Auto Center after 2-and-a-half hours, only to see my truck *still* sitting exactly where I had left it 2.5 hours ago, *right in front of the lobby door*, clearly visible from inside.Of course, there was no one in the lobby. I waited ... and waited ... and waited... Finally, someone from the desk at the adjacent Avis Rent a Car offered to go find someone for me who worked in the Auto Center. The gentleman who eventually showed up didnt know anything about my truck, why it was still sitting where I had left it now nearly 3 hours ago, or when they might get to it.I took my keys and left.I ended up going to Battleground Tire, and Im so glad I did. I paid about $2 more per tire at Battleground, but received absolutely outstanding customer service, and once my tires arrived (they had to be ordered and came in early morning the next business day), they called me immediately to let me know, and my new tires were installed in less than an hour. I would much rather pay a friendly, local, family-owned business an extra $8 and receive warm and prompt service than save a few bucks and get horrible service from a national corporation who demonstrate that they couldnt care less about their customers.In short, GO TO BATTLEGROUND TIRE!

I came here a year or more ago and was unimpressed by the staff I interacted with, and with the wait time for a scheduled service, but this time was different.I was helped by Tina, who is awesome!This location doesnt do appointments anymore, and I came in first thing this morning and was helped right away. The time taken was completely reasonable. Im pleased!

Employees are rude, and refuse to honor my friends lifetime tire alignment that he played a quite a bit for. They have always been nothing but trouble and make you jump through unnecessary hoops to have it honored. There is a reason this company is going under.

I have been coming here for the last year give or take because it is walking distance to my work. I have had consistently bad service. I like to give the benefit of the doubt and try to make things work forgiving the little consistencies. Last time I went to get an oil change, I received a phone call 30 minutes before my appointment stating they no longer took appointments for oil changes. Okay. So I show up and I am quoted 5 hours. 5 hours is a long time to get an oil change. So they are short staffed and busy. Okay. So I give the benefit of the doubt and come back a week later. They are back logged and going to take 3 hours to do an oil change when there are no cars visible. First time shame on you. Second time shame on me. Needless to say, I wont be returning and they have just lost an understanding customer.

We needed truck tires before a family trip for Christmas and were accommodated with extreme efficiency. David Segers went out of his way to keep us in the loop with a few things were we not aware of and listened to our concerns. He handled them with the utmost care, just as if it were his own vehicle. If I could give this place no stars I would....wasnt even acknowledged when I walked in. Employee was taking care of two other people in front of me and she was about to cough up a lung. She didnt have a single care in the world and took her sweet time doing simple tasks. Clearly the customers here are not a priority. I waited more than 10 minutes before I decided I should leave and get my car serviced somewhere else. Awful employees!! Do not bring your business here

Found tires online. Price was reasonable. Tires were ordered. When I called to schedule, was told tires were wrong size (after I was told to give the size of the tire on the car). David, their rep, told me someone from cyber space must have told me that tire size. It turned out to be the right size and were eventually installed. If I knew my son didnt need tires so badly, I wouldve had him drive away. The most unprofessional experience Ive ever had! Will never go back and will never recommend this place.

Sears is the only place I trust with all of my auto needs. Utasha and Kirk are, in my opinion, the best mechanics in Greensboro. Anytime I have an issue whether it be minor or major I can always count on the staff at Sears to ease my mind and take care of all my auto needs. I only trust my car to Sears auto Center and that is all thanks to Utasha and Kirk!

I called and the lady said I have your battery. I even double checked and said are you sure, she said yes. I drove 30 minutes to get to Sears for this woman to tell me, I have one in the computer, but I cant find it. Needless to say I was irrate. This place is a joke. I would give 0 stars if it were an option. Worst customer service ever and an hour of driving wasted. She said I am the assistant manager. I was like great cause you suck at it!

I had just gotten off from a long shift at work when I began driving my car. I felt some uneasiness so I tried to pull over, while doing so my entire wheel comes off. I had my car towed to Sears and immediately came in the next morning. This is the best experience I EVER had with any car repair shop. They not only repaired my car but Micheal was able to make an extremely stressful situation much better. Thank you so much Micheal and Sears auto repair shop!!!!!!

Their service is a shot in the dark. Their work is great. I got my tires from there, I get my oil changed and half of the time the people working are nice and professional. Trying to book an appointment is another story. 9 times out of 10 they will not answer the phone. Today I called 7 times. They answered the last time and the woman was very short with me, extremely rude, and had no intention of helping me with my problem. Your best shot is to do a walk in and hope they have time.

Didnt charge for a refused rotation & showed me where the wear was on the 2 tires. Sucks that they charged so much for 2 tires, so I went somewhere else. Guy brought back car and left it in the rain instead of putting it under the bay, so I had to walk in the rain.

EDIT: the employees hate taking coupons and you have to badger them for the manager to come out to realize that the coupons actually are from their own website. My first review was 2 years ago. The price still isnt good, and the service has gotten slower. They are reliable still.[Original review] price isnt so good, but the scervice is fast and reliable

Went to get brakes replace. They told me 2hrs. Now Im a mechanic and it doesnt take that long. But then it took more than 2hrs it took 3hrs and some minutes. I been here since 2pm and now its 5 and my car is still up on a lift. This place go out of business the service here is horrible. Or need new workers. The man that is fixing the car is just walking around like he has nothing to do. Its 520 now and still no car. And again Im a mechanic and we focus on service

I called, and could tell the guy on the phone didnt want to be there or talk to me. I worked retail in the past, so I know people have bad days. This guy, however, was just unfriendly and was no help at all. He told me to call the dealership to see what kind of oil I needed for an oil change, then told me to go online to see about scheduling, since he didnt have it up on his screen. Instead of helping me (which is his job), he completely brushed me off. It seems small, but when theres attitude behind it, thats a turn off. So...I wont be taking my business there👌.

This post is being made by Jans husband, Roger.The service or lack of service was the most atrocious experience I have had in all the bad experiences of shopping at Sears. Needless to say, this will be the last time that I try to deal with these people.I drove into the service center to have my battery changed in my truck, little did I know that this would turn into a two hour saga and I still didnt get a battery.The service clerk told me that she did not have the same battery, but that they had one that would work.So, I told her to go ahead with it and I was going to step across the street to have lunch while they were installing the new battery. 45 minutes later I returned to the service center and saw that my truck was still in the garage so I had a seat to wait. Probably 30-40 minutes passed and the service clerk walks in and tells me that they do not have a battery that will work, but that they can get one but it will take another 45 minutes. I told her that I could not wait any longer, to please just have my truck brought around front. About 15-20 minutes later, the service man finally drove it to the front and I asked him why it took so long to reconnect the battery and bring it to the front. He said he was looking for a socket that he had lost.By that time another service clerk had come to the front. He looked at the ticket and said,that will be $19.95. I said, you are kidding, for what? He replied that it was for a battery service charge. I told him that I had come in to purchase a battery and now two hours later, I still had no new battery and I would not pay his service charge. So, I took my key and left. Well this guy calls me and tells me that I still owe him $19.95, insisting that I had agreed to that charge. By that time my patience had totally left my body and I told the guy that I wanted to speak to his manager. He said he was the manager so proceeded to tell him in impure language what I thought of his underhanded method of business and that by no means was I going to give him $19.95 for wasting two hours of my day and I still had to go elsewhere to purchase a battery ( a 15 minute process at NAPA ). Goodbye Sears, its been a rough relationship and Ive had enough.

I had the absolute best experience ever at Sear’s Automotive in Greensboro. I had the pleasure of working with Everton. He is the best! I was initially there for an oil change but because of his exceptional service my mother and I both decided to purchase tires for each of our vehicles. Yes we both definitely needed them but I was just so impresssed with the price and customer service. I wish every time I had to service my cars it went this well! I will definitely be back and look forward to working with Everton for all my future automative needs!

Absolutely horrible service. Went in to get alternator replaced. Car checked in at 12:45. Took an hour just to get looked at. Then told 15 min to get part and an hou for service. Took well over 2 hours. Will never use Sears again.

At first I thought this was a nice place but I was wrong. I went there to have 2 tires replaced and three studs fixed. That is of course a major repair but I could not believe it would take 15hours to do. I dropped off the car at around before noon and I was able to get it at 3pm the next day. I was so irritated because they first told me that it would take 2-3 hours and it kept going on and on. I had to go back to wait twice. I think the technicians are very incompetent or just a poor services. They are the worst. Just do not take your car there, unless if you have a lot of money and no plans.

Long story short. I was over charged twice for 2 separate rentals within 2 weeks. I was told I would get a refund....it never came...Had to call customer service to dispute it. Only received one of the 2 refunds, told me they didnt see any discrepancies on their end. However, I have a whole bill that clearly states how much I was obligated to pay. (Im not even gojng to talk about the customer service at the location...attitude problem...thats all im going to say) NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!!

Terrible Experience! I had an appointment to get my car done and left it overnight so they would get to it the next day. At the end of the next day, they hadnt touched it, and said it was because I had no appointment! This went round and round, and I asked for my car back, and go no service at all from them. The managers didnt care at all, and even walked away from me while I was asking them what went wrong. They are discourteous, rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER go back there.

We called them on Saturday to see if we could take our vehicle in and was told to bring it and they would work us in. Once we drove 30 minutes to this place they told us they could not see us. So today 5/1 on Monday my fiance and 1 year old went in and were totally taken advantage of by the staff. On top of waiting 2 and a half hours for an oil change with a Groupon they CHARGED HER AN ADDITIONAL $45 FOR PARTS, LABOR AND A SHOP FEE!!!! This is no where in the fine print! Also I did not get the filter changes because they told her it was an addition charge for a standard filter!!! I am livid at this company for taking advantage of women, this is despicable!

I would give 0 stars if it were possible. Theres obviously a reason this place will be going out of business soon! Arrived maybe less than an hour before closing and it was obvious they must have been ready to go home because the service I received was just horrible. They made me feel like it was nothing they could possibly do to help me change my tire that had gone flat because they did not have the universal bolt to take the tire off. The person I spoke to on the phone before my arrival insisted for us to come and he would help us out with changing the tire - when we arrived, he literally said there was nothing he could do and waited us out to see if we would leave, AFTER I turned down the overpriced tires he tried to sell. Mind you, we were left in the garage for about 15-20 minutes thinking he was still looking for the bolt to take the tire off and once the other associate came back out to see if we were purchasing the tire, we said no and just proceeded to tell him we were going to leave and go elsewhere (since it was obvious we werent going to get any help), he then scoffed while commenting ha, good luck!Fortunately, we made it to NTB off Battleground Ave and received the best customer service EVER and both front two tires changed in less than 45 minutes - ALSO FOR A PRICE WAY CHEAPER THAN Sears had offered. So yeah, I would definitely have to say Sears Auto gave the worst customer service/experience I have ever had and would not return here again (and this was only my first option because it was the closest to my location at the time).

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Bought a Groupon and to only pay an additional $40 on top of that for various fees. I made an appointment and arrived ON TIME yet my car wouldnt be done within a hour due to the fact that the appointment is only valid if there is an available technician and being by there was only 1 on Sunday and he was already busy there would be a wait. They charged me for a full Synthetic oil change when my car manual states the car only requires a Synthetic blend. The reason is THEIR system says full blend, but how does your system know better than the ACTUAL CAR MANUAL? Called approximately 12 times the following week as they forgot to reset the code with no answer. Called customer service at Sears and They provided a number that doesnt even work. NO HELP FOR ME OR MY CONCERNS. NEVER SPENDING MY MONEY HERE AGAIN.
