I have been a very happy and loyal customer of the Z shop for more than 20 years. The professionalism of every person I have dealt with there has been exceptional. I trust them which is a big deal for me as a woman navigating sometimes expensive car maintenance and repair without a lot of knowledge. Their work is excellent and they stand behind it. Also they deliver a top-notch customer experience. There is a comfortable waiting room with Wi-Fi, an outdoor seating area, and clean restroom facilities. They follow all safety protocols related to covid. They are responsive and take the time to answer your questions. When I came this week to have my car checked over, they sent me all recommendations online, complete with photographs, and when I picked up my car, it had been vacuumed and every surface touched by their staff had been covered with plastic, including the seat, steering wheel, and gear shift. They even included a little thank-you gift. I would like to commend John and his family for building such a solid, quality local business and for having a well-trained, personable staff.

I have been going to the Jeep Guys for years. They always take care of me. I dont have them do everything, because some small maintenance I prefer to do myself. Other times, I prefer a second opinion. John and the Guys are quick, accommodating, and professional. Their waiting room is comfortable, and its apparent that they conduct business the right way. Call and make an appointment ahead of time; I usually wait, but when it comes to time, they under-promise and over-deliver. I hope my Jeep continues to run for another 225,000 miles in their care.

Not happy with recent services and will be looking for a new shop. Every time we bring the car in, issues are discovered that should have been addressed with previous services or arise immediately upon leaving. Last week we brought the car in for an oil change, and we were told that the car lacked a cabin air filter. That doesnt make any sense, as weve had multiple services/inspections done on the car by this shop, and we havent taken it to anyone else in the meantime. So either this issue was missed before or the shop took the filter out in a previous service and never replaced it. In any case, when we drove away, we immediately noticed that the back tire was flat. This *may* have been a total coincidence, but Im not willing to give the benefit of the doubt about this tire because a year or so ago this shop left a rag near the cars engine that ignited and started a small fire a few days later. I really wanted to like this shop as it seems like a friendly and professional operation (and I even kept using them after the small car fire!), but almost every time we bring our car there, it just creates more problems than it solves.

I have decided that Autotrends is my new place where I will be going for the service of my vehicle. There was a name card on the dashboard when I picked my car up of who worked on it. There was plastic on the steering wheel and gearshift for protection of Covid and the owner personally texted me and thanked me for allowing them to service my vehicle. I feel that they went out of their way and did a great job for me. That is what won me over,

I am a Jeep owner and needed some work done to trouble shoot a problem. That problem could of led us down a rabbit hole but not under the care of the John and the Jeep Guys. They treated me with honesty and fairness and completed the repair affordably and timely. These are honest people who are good at what they do. Greensboro is lucky to have such a quality repair shop. We had our Mitsubishi Gallant in for a timing belt service. 10,000 miles on it and no problems. Also just had transmission fluid changed and car shifts smooth as when new. Very good work and fair price. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent work and customer service. I took my Ford Escape hybrid to Auto Trends after another shop said they tested it and the hybrid battery, wiring harness and ECM all needed to be replaced. Auto Trends found that it was just my regular battery. They were polite, professional and did an outstanding job fixing my vehicle. The price for the service was very reasonable as well. We will definitely be going back.

Yoooo when I tell you as a grown man I have cried about the issues with my car.. happened to google this location and gave them a call, not only did he know exactly what I was asking about but told me to come right in! I got there and there was nothing but smiles and friendly professional service! Even got compliments on my ride 😏! I drive a Jeep Wrangler. And Ive been taking it to one of the chains for oil changes and tire rotations. And they just kept missing things. I always had to follow up to get everything right. So I found Jeep Guys and went in for an oil change/rotation. Gary and his staff were great. They even knew to ask if I wanted my spare worked in (thats a Jeep thing). Ill be going back. i recommend you do the same.

I will say in their defense the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. My biggest issue is that I was told that the job would take an hour to an hour and a half....3 and a half hours later I have my vehicle. I was given $20 off of the labor but I feel my time is more valuable than that.

I was referred here by a close friend. I came to get a free second opinion after going to a well known car repair chain that tried to completely rip me off. My battery was bad and I was quoted $190 with tax for a new battery with a 5 year warranty and the labor included !!!!. I also got an oil change and new windshield wipers for $54 tax included.The waiting area feels like a lounge. It was very new and refreshing. It was near the end of the day and I was still greeted immediately with professionalism and overall kindness. The guy I believe his name was JB or John was a mechanic so it wasn’t just a front desk person who didn’t know what they were talking about. He was knowledgeable upfront and honest. He checked and changed my battery within like 20 minutes. The prices are the best I’ve seen in Greensboro and the service is great.I got a full diagnosis of my car for 109 and he texted me a link to a website that shows pictures of every part of my car that was checked with red green and yellow categories organized by severity of the issue. He didn’t try to push me to do more work than was necessary. And if all that wasn’t enough they left a “thank you for your business goodie bag” in the car. I am super satisfied. They’ve gained a customer for life.

Approximately 3 years ago I brought into the shop a Toyota Prius that ultimately needed a mass airflow sensor replaced. The staff at the shop recommended several items to be addressed in addition to the sensor. One of the items they recommended for replacement was the hybrid battery pack. Garages make recommendations all the time but Autotrends was very confident that battery failure was imminent. I rebuffed their recommendation and 3 years of normal driving later, I am still experiencing no issues with the batteries. Its difficult to find a garage that will not attempt to upsell needless repairs. Autotrends is no different.

Autotrends take care of my Nissan SUV. A few weeks ago they worked on my brakes and replaced rotors. A few weeks past had no brakes. Autotrends mainly Gary who I talked with had my car towed and sent the courtesy van to take me home. My car was back home later in the day fixed and no charge to me. Awesome company!!!!!!!

I took my Hyundai Sonata hybrid here for a known issue. The steering coupler (small rubber cushion in steering column essentially. Steering wheel clicks and rattles when it gets worn out) wears out in these cars after awhile and needs replacing. Its an easy job once you get the dash taken apart and steering column down. I left the car with them they agreed it was the coupler that needed replacing. They quoted me $650 for the job claiming it was a 4 and 1/2 hr job. That seemed wrong. I watched videos of the process online where it was taking guys 20 minutes to get to it, clean it out and replace it (I know the actual time is not what is charged for so I expected an hr or 2 labor with a $15-20 part). Estimates online never exceeded $290 and I found out Hyundai extended the warranty on this part to 100,000 miles so it was free to me at the dealership. The dealership agreed that was an astronomical estimate and said the job is a 2hr job with a $25 part. I dropped my car off at 1:00pm as the guys were coming back from lunch and the dealership was done by 2:40pm. Hmmm. They vacuumed my car out at Autotrends but that wouldnt quite make up for the price gouge. Whether it was inexperience on their part in formulating the estimate or something more sinister didnt really matter to me. Unless you just have endlessly deep pockets...do your research before getting work done here for sure. I wont be going back.

I took my Jeep GC in for an oil change and asked if they would check out some noises from the front suspension. After finding the cause (or at least one of the causes) of the noise they didnt try to push me into an additional sale for the repair. They documented the issue (upper and lower control arm bushings) so I know what needs to be done and a good estimate of the cost of the repairs. I felt that they were vary friendly, honest and had great customer service. My Jeep will be going there from now on.

Called to get a price on a transmission service. Was told they cant give prices over the phone that i could bring it in and get a price. Taken for g granite that I live over an hour away but was willing to do business with this place because a referral from a friend. Plus I gave the receptionist all specs on my car and transmission she still insist for more to come in just for a quote on a transmission service. Sounds like a scam to me. If you are professionals in this business you should know what it takes to do a fluid change on a car you specialize in granite you are given all the specs. Rookies and they lost all my respect just for asking someone to drive over an hour just for a quote on a fluid change. Need to get somebody more knowledgeable as a service writer or they wont last working on higher end cars...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I got a Get Acquainted Oil Change Service Package card in the mail...said they were the VW and MINI Experts,(I drive a Mini) and for $19.95, regular value $79.95 (the normal charge for a oil change, with synthetic oil, on a Mini) you could get a oil change. Made a appointment and when I got there I was informed that it would be more than the $19.95. When I questioned why the lady, who was very nice, said because of the synthetic oil. I asked to speak to the manager and he said the cost would be $69. for synthetic oil but if I wanted regular oil it would be $19.95. I showed him the ad and that it does not state there would be different charges for different oil. He agreed but said that was how it was and they would change the ad...The ad was very misleading and they were not cooperative. Ill never go back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone...

This place will cheat you every chance they get. You really need to double check their work because they simply not do it, if your not paying attention. Worst experience ever! I will never take my car to them again!

Theyre usually OK. I waited nearly an hour once because I think they forgot to work on my car during the day, or delayed it without calling me.

Kind of down the middle of the road with this place. Took my vehicle there for 2 problems on 2 different occasions. Both times my repair would fail on me and leave me either broke down on the highway, or going 65 down the highway with a windshield wiper flying off my car. Both times though they found their mistake and fixed it for free. They even paid for my tow back to the shop when I broke down. But the thing is Im a small business owner and having my van in the shop for days at a time because of repairs that should have been made the first time really kills me. It has literally set my company back 2 months because of the days missed of work. But again they are super nice people and very reasonable (other than charging me 150 bucks to move two pieces of wood out of my van and putting them back in).

First time there. Fair price for the work done. They have my business from now forward.
