Deplorable service from start to finish. I was told that my oil change was going to be completed in 45 minutes, so I proceeded to pick up a few baby clothes in the store. After about an hour, I decided to go back to the auto section to check on my car. When I got there, I was the third person in line. Waited patiently as the sales person engaged in personal conversations with the person at the counter. He then stepped away with this customer for another 10 minutes. When he returned, he assured that person his car was next in line. It finally got to my turn, and I was asked what car I was waiting on. He looked at my car and said that it had not yet been on! This was about an hour and a half from the time I dropped off the keys! What in the world! Had several other errands to do, so I picked my keys up and walked away. Never again I tell ya, never again!

I came in to get 2 tires during my break. It took 5 minutes before someone actually acknowledged me. They said the wait was 45 minutes but I ended up waiting over an hour and a half with only 2 cars getting done before me. The person who went to get my car said my car didn’t start after standing inside for 10 minutes on their phone and then asking, there was nothing wrong with my car you just have to hold the key for a second longer than usual. Will never be coming back! If I didn’t need tires immediately, I would have never come here!

I came to this Walmart Yesterday to get my oil change the hours on the door and website says they close at 7pm. I live on the other side of Greensboro. I got to the store at 6:15 the doors on the bays was closed. I was met in the parking lot by a employee whom was sitting in his car. He walked over to my car and said they closed early because they didnt have enough staffing. I was told to call and make an appointment if I want my oil changed.

Prices low. Service ok. Wait was too much. When I arrived I was told it was going to be about an hour. I literally waited for 5 hrs for 4 new tires. They dont have chairs due to COVID so you have to make your own seat or stand or have a ride back. Three people left, one lady flipped out because she had been waiting longer than I. No communication or notice of a delay until I checked on the 4th hour. The manager was apologetic but I was also skipped apparently. This one lady tech really wasnt working from what I observed, but she had a lot o say and went to lunch in the midst of the chaos. The rest of the techs were busting their tails trying to accommodate everyone. Shoutouts to Simon cause he really went hard to get my car done. Not planning to experience this again.

Waited 3hours for two tires to be replaced. We werent called to be notified that they had the wrong ones to see how we wanted to proceed so that took longer. Front register lady was slow. I would have given it no stars. Will not be returning.

My tire was going flat on a Sunday afternoon and I called, because I was within minutes away and it was 515 and they close at 600 in there automotive department and the young man said they were closed and would not have time to put a tire on for me. I pulled into a service station and my tire had less than 16 lbs of pressure left again. Very Disappointed

They were absolutely awesome. Friendly staff, quick! I went in for a new tire, prices werent high, the only negative, was the guy that fixed my tired, sped around the parking lot like he was a Nascar racer. I dont even drive my car like that, so that was a bit bothering... But overall, great staff

Writing this as I am still sitting here waiting on my car. I got a flat tire nearby and unfortunately opted to limp over to this Walmart instead of swapping on my spare or waiting for a tow. Huge mistake. I pulled up and saw only a couple of vehicles here, so I figured it wouldnt take that long just to get a new tire mounted and balanced.First off, people were paying for groceries and other items at the Auto Care register, so I had to wait behind them to even be able to tell anyone what I needed done. I finally got to the register and was told it would be about an hour and a half. I was shocked because there were only a couple of cars there, and the lady told me it would probably be more like an hour or less because, I was right, they werent that busy.Its now been an hour and a half and my car has yet to be even pulled into the garage. There are four people working, but they only seem capable of working on one vehicle at a time. I understand if theres a situation where maybe only one person is qualified to mount and balance a tire, but I see zero reason why my car isnt at least on a lift with the wheel off right now, any one of these people standing around should be able to handle it.Im now going to miss an important meeting because of the incompetence of this staff. Seriously NEVER take your vehicle here for anything! I am absolutely regretting coming here instead of a real tire shop.

Once again, its hard to beat WalMarts prices and wide variety. Today I had four tires mounted and balanced for right at $300 out the door. Everything turned out fine, but the devil is in the details. I arrived about 20 minutes before the tire service department opened and was the first and only customer there. One other car pulled in after me just before they opened and was taken care of before I was. Thats detail #1, by the way. When I talked to the service MANAGER I told him I wanted the lifetime rotation and balance. When the car was finished, the charges didnt include the lifetime rotation and balance (#2). I noticed that the technician who installed the tires rolled down one of the electric windows on the vehicle (#3). I drive a 17 year old car. One window rolls down, but takes forever to get it to roll back up. It was raining. Fortunately it wasnt the broken window, but what if it had been? No idea why the window needs to be down to install tires! All staff were informative and polite. The estimated wait time was 35 minutes. It took closer to an hour (#4). Overall, it was a pleasant experience - other than being first in line and second served. That kinda rubbed me the wrong way for a minute, but since I didnt speak up I guess thats on me since the staff had no idea which of us was there first because we parked in separate lanes. In the end I dont think it changed the outcome. I would recommend this Walmart Auto Center if you dont care about details.

I called last night to find out what time they open which was 7am the young man assured me that I would be taking care of at 7am I also received a tire quote as well. I arrived at 7:05 am and they were not open they didnt open until 7:15 power the young man he had to wait on a manger to open. With no apologises from the opening manager. As I am checking in the young man tells me they have to have 2 associates in the bay at all times but the other young man was not coming to work on the count of a funeral and their was no Associate schedule ro replace him this was very much an inconvenience when I was told they open at 7am and would be able to get my 2 tires just really bad service

Just trying to buy new bulbs for my tail lights, and they didnt have the standard bulbs in stock. I would have purchased the more expensive LED bulbs, however when I asked for assistance from the clerk, she said the manager was on break and had the only key to the cabinet, but he should be back in a few minutes. I cannot believe a retail store would make a customer wait for a manager (Terry) to get off a lunch to open a cabinet but okay I gave the benefit of the doubt for potential high theft item. After about 20 minutes waiting in the aisle, I asked a different clerk to page the manager. After another 25 to 30 minutes an assistant manager arrived. When I asked him to open the glass cabinet he thought the clerk at the counter should have had the key. To his dismay the key (apparently the only key in existence for this cabinet) was with the manager, whom I was asked to wait while the asst. Manager went to look for the key. After another 20 minutes neither returned to provide a customer with adequate service. Just proves that when a company grows and becomes a major conglomerate, the values and principles of customer service and satisfaction are irrelevant.

Two weeks ago I bought tires that totaled over $540.00.It’s barely two weeks and the tires are messing up. One just blew out on the road, and the manager of the center said there’s nothing he can do about it. I’m taking legal action if they don’t rectify their horrible tires. I’ve never had a tire go bad in less than 2 WEEKS!!!!!Please use my example as a reminder to never use Walmart’s service. It’s not worth the headache and the stress on my family or upon my wallet.Walmart should be ashamed of themselves for the absolute disgusting service that they’ve displayed. But they won’t. I won’t put another dime in such a disgusting, irrelevant, absolute ignorant, atrocious and ignorant business.

I’ve came here multiple times, different times a day, and they’re never available. Came one day at 5:30pm they said they close at 7 and couldn’t take any more vehicles. Came at 10am someone said they were understaffed and couldn’t handle more cars (there were only 2 being serviced). Just came now, at 3:48pm and this lady said they’re gonna close for one hour. I asked the reason and she didn’t say nothing, just closed the door on me. That’s very frustrating

Dont expect customer service! Ordered 2 tires, received notification via they arrived. Called to confirm they were there & the price to mount & balance since the car isnt on the road. Both were confirmed by staff. In fact $15 was the price quoted to mount ea tire. Drove down here to be told the if they were ordered they would be here Thurs they arent supposed to take over the phone orders on tires & when you order you will get the text when they arrive.The female CSM treated us as if we were liars even though we showed her the text & cell phone proof that we had talked to someone today before arriving.

I arrived at this location at 7am when they opened, first person in the door. I had purchased 2 tires from them a couple months back and was bringing it in for the lifetime rotation. I had also purchased 2 tire from sams club a couple months before. When i purchased the walmart tires i asked if the lifetime warranty from sams would carry over and they assured me yes it would. When checking in this time foe the rotation i was told that they would not honor that warranty and i would need to pay $12 per tire to have it done. After talking it over with them and talking to the manager they all said i would still need to pay. After giving in and saying fine just do it they went to enter it into the computer and said “oh wait look at this i can do it”!!So now 2 hrs later my car still has not even been touched! Hows that for being first customer in line at the fabulous Walmart Auto center!! You may save a couple of dollars up front on cost but in the long run if you are looking for service it will not happen here! Take your car anywhere else!

Complete ignorance from the mechanics to management. Brought suv in for an oil change, got it back with NO oil in it. Brought 2nd car in for new tires, had to come back several times because the tech couldnt mount a tire properly. I think this place should stick to just selling wind shield wipers and scented trees to hang from rear view mirror.

So I was told it will be around 1&1/2 hours to get my oil change. There were about 4 cars ahead of me so I thought it seemed ok, even when there are 3 service guys there. Ive been here now 2&1/2 hours and when I asked someone how long it will be before my car is done I was just given an annoyed look and told they dont know and that they were busy.. The funny part is that they are all just standing around and talking!! Worst service possible. no professional service here folks. Never coming back!

I didnt expect much from a Walmart tire center, however... they didnt call me when the job was done, they left grease all over my door and rims (not just a little that is to be expected), and the work that was done did more damage than what was there when I brought it in. I had an ASE master tech look at what they did and he said it looked like whoever worked on it had no idea what they were doing. If you can avoid it (which I could not) dont take your car here.
