I have had very bad experiences with Lithia of Great Falls in the past. I had all but written them off, then my wife had an amazing experience with James McAlister. I still had little interest with doing buisness with Lithia but she set me and James up to look at Rams. James gave me the experience that I look for in a car buying experience! I would recommend him to anyone. He is honest, low pressure and not your typical car salesman and I mean that as a complement!

We came in a few times looking for a good winter vehicle and due to not having the best credit and not the biggest inventory in our price range... it wasnt easy. Michael Staley is by far the best car salesman I have ever met. Not only is he honest, consistent and determined, but an all around great person. Thanks to him I got another chance at a vehicle and on top of that, the one I really wanted. He made sure that we got what we were looking for as well as, made sure that everything worked out in the end and for that I am forever grateful. An experience I wont ever forget.

I drove 4 hrs to this dealer after calling and confirming that they had 2 different trucks I had found online. I was informed that both trucks would be available to look at and test drive when I got there. After getting to the dealer, only one truck was available and the other was on a lift with no one available to get it off the lift for the remainder of the day. I did end up purchasing the other truck after confirming the truck had intact gone through a 101 point inspection which ( supposedly) found no issues and the rest of the sales process went smoothly.Less then a week later I brake down on the side of the highway and my truck will not start. I get it towed to a mechanic who found very low fuel pressure and the water separator was completely rusted over. I called Lithia later that day and was told that the manager would be in the following day. The next day the manager wasn’t in his office again and was proceeded by a weekend. Mid week the next week I finally get ahold of the manager who says that because I didn’t get the warranty they offered. They couldn’t do anything for me.I get that I didn’t get the warranty but less then a week later braking down and not starting is a bit much. All I wanted was for them to at least offer a small fraction of the bill since they had just completed the inspection.If you plan on purchasing a truck though then. Don’t trust their service department because they dropped the ball on me.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the smooth purchase process we experienced while buying our Ram at Lithia. The salesman, Shawn Larson, was very knowledgeable about the Ram products and all the various models to choose from. He was probably the most friendly and organized salesperson we have ever dealt with and would definitely request him should we decide to buy another vehicle. For the time being we are thrilled with our Ram and will be taking it on the road next week. We are really looking forward to spending some fun time in our new truck.

My hat goes off to the engineers and designers of Dodge trucks and cars. For this particular service and parts department in Great Falls Montana, avoid. Go somewhere else. Pay a mechanic to deal with it, but dont waste your money with these guys. I have 2 dodge vehicles in my driveway, and every time. Not just once, but every time I order parts, try to buy a vehicle, or have my vehicle serviced here, ends in failure. So far Ive kept going back because there is a geographical divide here, and to get to another dealer is some serious mileage. But no more. I would rather drive two days out of state than come back to this shop for anything. At this point I dont trust them to put on my windshield wipers They left greasy fingerprints on my windshield right in my field of view, after ordering a part that doesnt go to my vehicle, sorry, refund, cant help you after a week!! Never again

I am not one who writes these but I would like to warn people before going here. Their word means nothing and don’t buy used vehicle from them, mechanic does not go through. Spent well over $55,000 at this place in the last 6 months. In January of this year we bought a $40,000 truck everything went great. 30days after buying it something started to leak and they fixed it no questions asked. Little over a week ago we bought another truck because thought they were a good company. They said their mechanic went through the truck we bought. Not even hour after buying it the entire hub went out, they fixed it. A week after buying it the fuel pump goes out and they will not do anything about it. $700 out of our pocket, after a week of owning the truck. We asked if we could trade out of this vehicle because obviously the mechanic did not go through it. We asked if we trade out of this pickup would they give us the amount we paid for the truck, they said no.

I bought a car from them on august 3, they had to fix the wheel bearing. They replaced them but the problem is still there. I brought it to the service department for that issue and a couple more issues that appeared and was told one thing from them and then one thing completely different from the sales department. A couple days ago my check engine light came on and I called to talk with a manager. Took me two calls to reach someone( two different days). I talked to sales manager and told him I just wanted to traded because I didn’t feel confident with them fixing my current car. I was told they would start working on it and they haven’t contacted me at all since. I called and left voicemails and messages and still no response. Very upset. Don’t recommend at all. Horrible service.

Avoid like the plague. Attempted to sell a rough, used Ram for 60% mark up with zero effort to fix up vehicle to acceptable standards. They forgot to clean the truck after a week of having it… well the previous owners name was all over the truck. We contacted the old owner and discovered the truck was traded for $40k. Tried to sell truck for $64k. Called them on it and offered a 45% mark up. Wasn’t good enough too greedy. Unethical and crooked.

Over Great Experience. I received everything I was looking for. Alex Williams was my salesman and did a fantastic job. He was knowledgeable, polite and professionally kept. I traded a 2020 Jeep Gladiator on a new Ram power wagon. The sale was smooth and extremely quick as I preferred. I also had a cosmetic issue with the same vehicle and they easily fixed the issue with no issues quickly and with no money out of my pocket. They really took care of me. I was impressed with everyones professionalism. This place is definitely not like a typical car sale lot, very accommodating for your needs and not pushy at all. I would highly recommend this location if your Interested in a Chrysler product!

I don’t have real good credit but Michael my sales man and I also call my friend really went to bat for me with the rest of the staff. Will not buy from them again first they approved me for the wrong truck then after an hour they got me the truck I wanted then gave me the new truck with the gas light on and would not put any gas in it and it took almost 4 weeks to pay off my old truck very disappointed

My experience with Lithia Chrysler jeep and Dodge was great! The banks was giving me a my boyfriend problems about getting approved for a used truck. But the people who work at Lithia never gave up on us and did everything they could to get us approved. The Ford dealership never tried to help us. Id recommend Lithia in great falls Montana.

If I could give them no stars, I would. To say this has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had, that would be an understatement! They do not communicate with one another. They do sneaky and shady buisness. They degrade their customers, directly and indirectly. Brian, their manager, ha! The man has no integrity what so ever. Is about the most uncompassionate and dishonest person I have ever dealt with in a business. Shawn their finance manager is about like dealing with a 2 year old child. Can not handle confrontation what so ever and instead will either ignore you all together, pass you off to someone else, or will escalate beyond means that ever necessary. This business is here to make a quick buck and do not truly car about their customers. Period. Please save yourself the headache. Do not let these people take advantage of you. People here talk, I should have listened and I wouldnt be in this mess. SMH.

Our salesman was Brent Vesti until he recently moved to the service department. We have recently been dealing with Kathie Rhoden and Craig Sherbondy, both of whom have been very professional and helpful at every step of the purchase, and now ordering a new dream car. When they have been unavailable for questions other representatives have stepped up to the plate to aid their coworkers answering questions. That means a lot to us! Never been left hanging in the wind!I have to mention the Service Department, I think they are the best I’ve ever had any dealings with, period! They have always done what they said would be done, no surprises. Always a call to clarify if needed. I had an appointment and made the hour and 45 minute drive to have an engine block heater added to my 15 Jeep along with transmission flush/fill and coolant. Almost $550 later I was pulling out of the drive and realized my Check Engine light was on. I turned back in. It was scanned and I was told it was giving a tire sensor code and they had cleared it. I was still in the bay so I told them the Check Engine light was still on. He scanned again and this time said something about weak circuit. They checked my battery which was fine. The techs said it could have something to do with my Halo headlights and the addition of the block heater. When I asked what needed to be done they said they didnt deal with electrical issues and I would have to visit a place like Bulbs and Batteries to ask them. I came in to a JEEP service center with a perfectly fine JEEP and left $550 lighter AND a CHECK ENGINE light on?The following Saturday I drove the hour and 45 minutes back to have a new power steering pump installed. An hour and a half later I was informed they removed the old and realized the new one they ordered was not correct and they would have to reorder. This was a different tech so I asked him about the Check Engine light and was again told they dont deal with electrical issues.I removed the fuse for the Halos but the Check Engine light was still on.I did my own research on the check engine light being connected to the addition of the engine block and saw that it was BS. Using my personal scanner AND a scanner at NAPA I received the same code, P0113, which is IAT related. Obviously it is not good to drive long periods with this issue.We popped the hood to check the IAT and immediately saw that it had been disconnected. A simple fix, thank goodness.I made the long drive because I trusted my Jeep to a JEEP service center. I find it odd that they would allow a customer (a woman at that) to leave their center with a Check Engine light on without finding the issue. Im also disappointed that I wasted a Saturday making the drive to discover they had ordered the wrong part. I dont have time or money (have you seen gas prices?) to waste. I also dont have time to research and do the manual labor that shouldve been done at the service center when they triggered my Check Engine light. Luckily Im not completely ignorant when it comes to auto repairs. If I were, I could be stranded on the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere and requiring major engine repairs.

Called on Thursday to see about getting a check engine light looked at. Was told if I was there by Friday 1:00PM it would be diagnosed by the end of day. I was then told that it would be diagnosed Monday. After calling back late Monday to check status I was basically told other people had priority. 10 minutes later received a call stating that nothing was wrong with it. 2.9 miles and light came back on. If you dont live in Great Falls and traveling through dont expect any urgency. Honest times frames would have been great. 4 days later MIL light is back on.

I searched for my vehicle from many different dealerships. Found the vehicle I liked located at this dealership. I live in a different state. This has been the worse experience I have ever went through. The deal finalized on the 7th didnt even receive the vehicle until the 19th, which I understand is not the dealers problem, but I did reach out to the GM of the dealership Brian Belderrain with my concerns to which I could not even get a reply. Did the whole buying process online and on phone due to being out of state. Told my sales person Shawn Larson specifically that I wanted coverage to cover if I scrape a wheel to have it fixed or if I puncture a tire to have it replaced. I was assured that everything will be taken care of by the coverage I purchased. I hit a curb and took it in to have the wheel fixed. To which the warranty provider denied my claim stating that they would only fix the wheel if the wheel was bent or cracked. Upon reaching out to my sales guy Shawn Larson to inform him of the denial, he told me that the fiance manager was not in until tomorrow morning but that we would get it taken care of. To which I waited until 5:41pm the next day to text and say that I havent heard anything. Shawns reply to me of Bes been busy doing deals. Give it a bit. is completely unprofessional. Not to mention I did not receive the call from the fiance manager until 11am the NEXT day. After speaking with the fiance manager Shawn Arnold he informed me that the coverage would only cover if there was extensive damage to the wheel like if the outside edge was chewed up. I hit a curb and the outside was chewed up. He began to say that it would only cover if the wheel had to be replaced, which I already knew now because the claim was denied, and this is completely different and complete deception of what I was told I was purchasing, so I asked what about the tires if I puncture them will they be replaced? The fiance manager Shawn begins to tells me that they might replace them on the drive axle but that hes not sure and that hes not sure if they would replace all four...... What exactly did you sell me then because apparently this coverage only covers very specific guidelines that are impossible to meet and that were clearly not what I wanted it for. Shawn continues to say yeah so we can just cancel that if you like. OK... that doesnt address my issue at all. After hearing this news I reached out to my sales person Shawn Larson again to see what could be done. Shawn instantly tried to accuse me of claiming pre-existing damage and said that he wasnt dishonest. To which I informed him that I hit a curb and was trying to claim that and didnt know what he was talking about with pre-existing damage. I have everything in text message and emails to back my claims. The lack of communication through the whole process, being told constantly by my sales person Shawn Larson to give everyone time, and the pure lack of compassion for customer service is unacceptable. No one is jumping to right this wrong, not even the General Manager of this location Brian Belderrain who I emailed and couldnt even get a response. If you are looking for a quality car buying experience, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save yourself the heartache and spend your hard earned money elsewhere where it will matter and you are not just another sale or a other number.

Traveling through on way bak home to tex we developed a diesel leak on engine. They put me right in an shortly after we found a cracked fuel rail. New one overnighted from Salt lake. Sent the wife today to look at a car they do not follow advertising prices. They acted like she didnt know what she was doing and didnt know her way around a car. Price was already well over the nada price and they wanted to add 4 thousand in extra stuff. Lots of vehicles around great falls would recommend going somewhere else unless you like to look like a fool and pay thousands over the true value of a vehicle.

They did not negotiate and the guy wasted 2 hours of our time, making it seem like he was going to work with us. And we werent trying to lowball, we wanted the best price for the cars situation, meaning it needed an alignment. I also felt like I was being pressured into buying other cars that I didnt even like. I have never been one to be happy to go car shopping, knowing that as soon as I step foot on the dealership I would immediately be approached by a sales person trying to talk me into a car I dont want or need. However, my time at Lithia was quite the opposite. I had the freedom to look through the on site stock and make a decision that was right for me. Ive been trying to purchase a new vehicle for roughly three weeks. Ive been using Truecar as a good baseline of what to expect to pay. After submitting my information through Truecar I got back several offers from Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Great Falls.I called the dealership to confirm the offers and begin the process of buying the car. I was originally told by the sales rep that Truecar comes up with those offer prices and they werent valid. I disagreed and the sales rep said he would talk to the GM and call me back. Ten minutes later I get a call back saying that the prices on Truecar arent accurate because the dealership didnt update their numbers accordingly to reflect the current chip shortage.I had no intention to haggle. I really thought this would be a very easy sale for both parties but between the copious amounts of misinformation followed by the refusal to even attempt to stick to the offered price or theyre advertised price on Truecar (which the dealership sets) Ill have to keep shopping around.

Wife and I don’t have the best credit and needed to add a second vehicle to help with carting the family around. So after fighting with a couple banks to get approved, we finally just went into this dealership to give it a shot. We went in trying for something a little too cheap (probably would have broke down soon after purchase). We went to try a used 2020 vehicle but decided it had more miles than what we wanted for a basically new vehicle. They wanted to know what they could do and offered to see if they could find us the vehicle we wanted in the color we wanted (Bikini), that was a manual with a hardtop. We took our truck in for an issue with dirt entering our air vents in my husbands truck. We got our truck in promptly and within a few hours the problem was diagnosed and parts ordered. A portion of the repairs was covered by warranty which was very welcomed.My husband was given a shuttle ride home and back while work was performed. Our experience was very favorable and all staff were polite and very helpful.

The so-called service department here is Lousy! First, its going to take some considerable amount of time to get anyone to greet you and ask why you are there. Second, if you didnt buy the vehicle from Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Great Falls, theyll send you to City Chevrolet of Great Falls across the street to get an oil change or anything else its in need of having checked! Third, the service manager is going to let you know by his general demeanor and body language, that he is extremely impatient for you to stop wasting his precious time and go away!

Craig was great. No pressure and easy to get along with. Somewhat typical of used car sales, we told them we had a budget and when they came in a little higher, we said no. As soon as we got outside to leave, they flagged us down and made a better deal. Somewhat of a lengthy process but everyone was understanding that we had to get to an appointment. In the end, a pretty good experience!

Highly do not recommend the service department brought my 2021 ram 2500 in because it was having def problems and service trailer brake problems which they claimed had fixed also but did not they took the def system apart told me it was having a gage problems put it back together sent me on my way told me to just bring the truck home and don’t recommend driving it I Live a total o 280 miles or more from the dealership I told devin that if I drive the truck home that it will more then likely need to be towed back and u guys will have to pay for the tow to be fixed and devin just laughed and said I won’t but lithia will great customer service devin I had also asked them for a loaner vehicle so that mine could be serviced knowing mine would soon stalled along the road being the only vehicle we have in frigid temps with three small children Devin laughed and said he did not have one for me at this time where is the the customer satisfaction guarantee there bragging about??
