Setup an appointment to get a tire rotation and alignment on my BMW. After arriving the technician told me they cannot do the alignment there as they do not have the proper equipment for a BMW. When I told him they had done it before at this location he told me that the person who did that work should not have done and it probably was not done correctly. Next they proceeded to tell me they could not do the tire rotation on a BMW. When I made the appointment by phone they should have told me they could not do those services or at least contacted before I came to let me know so I would not have wasted an hour and half to get nothing done. Also what does it say about a business when they tell you the work they previously performed was not done properly and do nothing to rectify it. So now I have to go to another business to get the work performed, properly.

I was very impressed with the employees here. They went above and beyond what other tire service centers have done for me in the past. Bravo and thank you.

Unlike the bigger tires shops here in town, I went in, told them what kind of tires I wanted, and they ordered them. Didnt try to talk me into getting something else. Desk guys are nice, and mechanic who did my tires and brakes knows what hes doing. Now, my place in Grants Pass to get tires and brakes done.

Fast and friendly service. Very kind a d helpful. The dealership wanted to charge $230, for the same service that I payed these guys $27 for. Awesome.

Charlie is very professional and kind. The facility is clean. The price for oil change was the best in town. Although it took over an hour to do an oil change (and I had an appt.) I was happy with the experience.

My Point S saga began shortly after I bought my car from them. The ABS light came on and I took the car in. They said it was an emissions thing that I didnt have to worry about. Soon thereafter the ABS pump went out and I had to have the car towed in. While it was there, I asked them about the tires and they told me the tires were good. Leaving Point S, I took the car in for an oil change. There they took pictures of my tires and said they could blow any time. Point S tires sell tires, but I went somewhere else for new tires. Point S repaired my windshield wipers twice now and they still dont work. I started having problems with the car not starting. First they replaced the starter and that didnt fix the problem. They replaced the battery and that didnt fix the problem. Last time it didnt start, they said it was a loose battery cable. The problem with it not starting has progressed to where the ignition wont release my key. Tonight the car is at another garage. Im not going back to Point S.

They go above and beyond to help in any way possible and give the best deals.

I called and set an appointment to have my alignment checked and have the oil changed. When I showed up the man at the counter told me that he had scheduled someone else for the alignment and that I would have to come back another time. Very annoying. I went ahead and had the oil changed, since I was already there. Then, after the oil change, I asked him if my engine air filter was good. He said that he had talked to the mechanic and that the filter was in good shape. When I got home, I checked the filter and it was filthy and was clogged with debris. Obviously, he lied to me that the filter had been checked. I have been a customer for 7 years. I cannot trust them and will be taking my business somewhere else. P.S. Tronda is no longer there. She was a competent and professional and trustworthy. Sad that she is gone.

I dont usually ever write bad reviews, but I feel I was totally taken advantage of here. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and when I dropped my car off (about a year ago) to get a brake job they let me use a car to get to an appointment and let me keep it overnight when the repairs took longer than expected, which I was super grateful for. However, a year later my brakes started squealing again and when I took it back they said the 2 front calipers were bad and that made the pads wear quicker than they should have and said none of it fell under the warranty because it was related to a separate issue. Quoted me another almost $1000 in repairs. I went and got a second opinion and told (as I suspected) that the rear pads were metal on metal and all the calipers were fine. I replaced the pads myself as I have little faith in mechanics anymore. Im thinking they didnt even replace the rear ones a year ago (though they definitely charged me for it) as the front ones were still at 80%... and then quote me for work on things that werent even the problem, while not even mentioning the rear pads. I feel duped and like they are not fully honest or thorough here.

Got same day service for brake pad replacement - they even test drove the vehicle to make sure it’s in good running shape. Really appreciate the help and wish the best for Point S. Tires - would recommend to others

Had winter tires installed on my car. Friendly staff and a comfortable waiting room, not that I had to spend much time there. Definitely would recommend them if you want friendly fast service at very reasonable rates. Other tire places wanted at least 40 dollars more to change out tires.

A good friend of mine recommended Gills Point s Tire & Auto... Im so glad that I took her advice and had my brakes done and tires replaced there. Not only are the prices better than I found elsewhere in Grants Pass, the service was respectful and friendly. The work was done in a timely manner and done well. I had my dog with me and they invited her in to wait with me and they got her a bowl of water and gave her a treat. Thats what I called going above and beyond the norm. I will use this business whenever I need tires are brake work done and encourage you to do so as well. You wont be disappointed.

Highly recommend for someone in a pinch..I had to get my car towed in and left by driving it away. These guys were great, prompt, and honest.

Cheapest place to have a tire mounted @ $20 which included balancing and disposal of the old tire. They did fine and I have zero complaints. Customer service was better than most auto shops.

I just found this place and was overjoyed by the attitudes and friendly service. I hate having to wait in the cold dank places of mechanic shops, but this was different. I keep getting random text messages from this place and have never been bought anything from them. I have sent a text back to ask them to stop sending me text messages to me and I get a message back telling me to to call back during business hours (its during business hours I send them, tight after they send me the texts). Super frustrating. I call they dont know. Super over it. I hate blocking all the numbers that text but geez!! Enough is enough!!! You are a legit business.... supposedly.

In stock selection is small and their communication with warehouse for stock is inadequate. The staff is friendly and helpful to resolve issues. Problems coupd very well be small town related. But my experience still left me disappointed. Although i may have been disappointed overall, they do have the best price for my tires in town.

Gave me a good deal on a tire that is hard to find without ordering it. They also checked all my tires and said my back two need to be replaced a.s.a.p wich i already knew due to the vehicle being in a field for years. They did say if i took it slow i would make it to my destination. Very friendly and helpful.

This company tried to charge my in laws $400 to change out a cooling fan. The part is less than $80 and it takes about 20 min to replace. They wanted to charge $250 for the part and $150 for the service. Tell me this isn’t taking advantage.
