Back in the early part of November 2020 I rear ended another vehicle due to my inattentive and negligent driving at the moment of time and caused an accident not only to the persons car in front of me but did some sizable damage to the right front of my Toyota Prerunner. Darn.I had mentioned it to a close friend of mine Mark Allen and he told me of a body shop he was associated with by the name of Golden West Auto BodySo the next time I got a chance I went buy the place to see what the place had to offer and to meet Tim the owner and manager of the place.The place was not all that impressive but they had a real nice sign out front and Tim was a real nice guy and personable. So on the recommendation of my friend and offer of Tim and Company I signed on.It took a while to have pictures and estimates to clear the OK with State Farm Insurance but we got it done. Well it wasnt a week or so but soon there after I received word that my truck was ready and a time was set that I could pick up my pick-up truck.Now Id been thinking that my 2001 Toyota Prerunner was about due a new paint job but had just been putting it off being it ran good and I really had no other complaints. Well when they rolled that truck out where I could get a good look at it I thought they had rolled it right off an assembly line It looked just like a spanken new truck. I swear Tim and his workers had gone all out, I guess they new how to stretch a 1$ about as good as anyone could imagine.Would I recommend them to any one needing body work for their automobile, indeed I would and without any hesitation. Brought in my metallic Gray 2006 volkswagen jetta. I bought the car after it had been sideswiped. The car also had several other small dents and dings on that side with the damage. I got estimates from literally every bodyshop in grants pass. These guys beat my cheapest bid by $500. They are by far the most affordable bodyshop in Grants Pass if you are paying out of pocket. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. The color match was perfect, There was zero orange peel and all the body lines and gaps were perfect when I got the car back. The service and quality was up to my expectations as a customer. Unlike the other shops Ive done business with in the past these guys dont nickel and dime you on the work. They only do what is necessary while still maintaining superior quality. The only negative I would say is there was some small sanding scratches in two spots. They are barely noticeable I only saw them because i have an eye for detail from working as an auto detailer. They will buff out when I do a final detail. In there defense they did the work on the car while it was raining and cloudy so I could see how they could have been missed. I only saw them in the direct sunlight. I am only mentioning it in this review as constructive criticism. Despite that I am still happy with the work and most of all the price. I would like to thank all the staff for making my car look new again.

BEST VALUE IN TOWN GO SEE TIM OR STEVE. This company is the best kept secrete in town. The owner him self takes the time to do a lot of the work himself. Quick turn around and you will always feel the value of service here. I recommend this business to all my friends and family. They do some auto mechanic work the main thing is they give great free advice. If you ask they will work with on getting a portion or all of your deductible back, what a deal. Honest guys here give them a call.

My Husband and I have taken our car here for body work multiple times over the years. Tim always tries his hardest to get us the least expensive parts and has the lowest labor costs Ive ever seen. He also never pressures us about anything. Im embarrassed at how many times weve had our bumper replaced, lol, but glad to know a guy who wont charge us a thousand dollars to replace it. He has a good eye for paint matching, too. We got into an accident when we lived in Portland and had another shop fix our fender. Tim pointed out that the paint job was off-we didnt even notice it till he pointed it out. Honest guy.

This is a very reasonably priced and well trained Professional place to take your car. I spoke to a man named Tim he walked me and my wife Stacia through the whole process including my insurance. I highly recommend them to my family and friends. :-)

I called to get a quote for repainting front and rear bumpers, and was received by an employee who didnt answer the phone with his or the business name. (I had to ask if I had called an auto body shop.) He said hed need to see the car, then I said okay... (utter silence). So I spoke up and was about to end the conversation when he said hed need to see the condition of the parts. I explained they were new, but we had received them in the incorrect blue color. Thats when he replied, No thanks. Im not interested. Ands he hung up. Terrible customer service. Youre right. No thanks. Im not interested in your business either.
