Excellent service... they know their bikes and have taken care of my Harley for me since I got it... i get great advice great service and excellent conversation whenever i go there... i highly recommend this shop
Went to Rapley Motorsports looking for a set of gas caps for my 89 Springer. While there they noticed my cross over fuel line on my tanks was dry rotted. They went out of there way to replace the line for me. Upon leaving my battery wouldnt start bike, they were kind enough to check and make sure the bikes charging system was working. From this point I could handle the issue.I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs help,
Amazing People. Help you, when they can and if they cant theyll get ya right direction. Wasnt even my bike getting serviced and I felt welcomed.
Busy shop, great guys, good service, Ill call again when I need help, or maybe Ill just stop to visit with like minded friends
Very good service I would highly recommend these guys to anyone. I had my ducati x diavel in here for my break in oil change.service was fast and the techs are awesome. It nice having someone in Southern oregon that will work on ducati.
Very friendly and helpful wish for them to be successful an would recommend them any time.
Nice guy fair prices do good work on your bike. But the most unorganized motorcycle shop Ive ever been in my life. They dont take appointments they just say yeah bring it in in a week. Take a few things off your bike youll be lucky if you get it back in 2 months.
Mark is the man! Love this shop, but keep in mind its busy. Mark build a solid platform sti for me, it lasted its life and was a blast on the streets. Clean shop, on point, and very knowledgeable with subaru especially.
Cant say enough about the honesty of Mark Rapley, when you go here you are met with peace of mind that the right thing will be done for you and your vehicle! Ive been a long time customer of Rapleys they specialize in Subarus, Motorcycles, and much more. Hes done everything from a new motor to many, many, modifcations for me and my WRX from stock to stage 3+ Ive pulled into his driveway and had him diagnose small issues just by the sound of me pulling up. When you leave your vehicle here to be repaired, let them take their time and get it done correctly and above expectations!
Best Subaru shop in town.
Friendly local service. When I recently took some motorcycle wheels in for new tires they spent some time with me reviewing options and giving advice on the best choice for me.
Great customer service and very professional work.Best place in Grants Pass Oregon.
Nice bikes
These guys are a family owned business. When it comes to mechanics, you need to be able to trust and depend on their training and service. This father son outfit are honest, fair, reasonable folks. If you are touring as we were, keep in mind they are open on Mondays, they are true biker / motorcyclists willing and able to service all makes and models. Had a tire puncture, had us back on the road in 2 hours. Stand up shop, deserving of 10 stars. Thanks again Dana and Mark!!!!
Rapley Motorsports is an awesome place. Mark and his son are very knowledgeable and they did a fantastic job maintaining my Subaru. I am very impressed
Didnt go here
I called Mark and asked if he could take a look at my wifes car and give us a quote on replacing the front brake rotors, as they had been warped since we bought the car. He gave us a quote (great prices, by the way), had the car in his shop the next day and they did an awesome job. My wife says it feels like we have a new car. I would highly suggest them to anyone needing service done on their car or motorcycle (this is what they specialize in). Thanks Mark; you guys rock!
My wife and I have taken my 05 subaru outback to Mark for years now. I drive down from Eugene to have my work done, that should speak volumes in itself! As two women going to a mechanic shop, we feel very comfortable, hes not a scam artist. My wife is a mechanic and would know. Hes fixed multiple small problems for nothing (dash lights not coming on, etc...) and diagnosis for free. He has great prices and is available for advice when you feel like other places are possibly shining you on. I wont let anyone else work on my Subaru and its in great shape because of him. Ive recommended many people over the years and have had multiple friends take the trip down from Eugene just because his prices and work are so fair. A great mechanic is priceless.
I had some vehicle repairs completed recently, and I couldnt be more satisfied with the business. Mark, the owner and his son, Dana, work great as a team. I got a great price, great service and I felt confident driving my vehicle out of the shop knowing that the work was done right. Seems to be more of a rarity these days to find a shop where you have friendly service, a good price and trust in the completed project. Rapley Motorsports has this in spades. I wouldnt recommend anyone else, and will be returning for all my regular maintenance and any needed repairs from now on. 5 Stars!
Very nice owner who was very helpful to this new rider...!
I didn’t even had the chance to take my bike in. Said he wasn’t taking any “old” projects cause he had enough. Very professional....
Great people. Broke down and limped my bike up to them and they got me fixed up in no time, were very knowledgeable, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Cannot recommend them enough, theyre the only place Ill be going from now on.
Went here expecting that I would need a new back tire after an i5 blowout. They could have easily had sold me a new one, but instead repaired it... also put on new brakes. These guys went out if their way and helped me out... I will definetly be returning. - 08 Street Glide.
Very helpful employees and very friendly ad well. Seem to be all about helping and/or finding a way to help o or a different solution anything they can to keep you on or get you back on road asap!
Leaving from the awesome Redwood Run in Piercy, Ca, I got a rear flat on my softail slim about 5 miles north of Selma on route 199. Called for a tow from AAA, then called Mark explaining my issues. Mark told me his shop was closed at the time, but knowing our situation he was able help me out. Mark has me back on the road heading north from CA in no time. Thanks again Mark, you ROCK!
Mark and Dana are good guys. They will go above and beyond if you act right.
Very knowable, great employees, job well done.
Its a very good and knolagble place for highend motor cycles and parts. He also has parts
Great Guys! Earlier this month my wife and I were on a motorcycle trip and got a flat tire in Oregon. Ended up getting towed to Rapley Motor Sports in Grants Pass and Mark and his co-workers took time out of their busy schedule to fix our tire and get us back on the road. During the time that it took to make the repair -- they gave us suggestions on where to walk for lunch and they made this delay in our trip comfortable for my wife and I. Since we live in Wisconsin, it is unlikely that we will be able to repay their kindness with repeat business -- but if you are looking for honest and capable mechanics -- this is your place! Mark & Wendy Marzion, Mukwonago, Wisconsin
Amazing shop with lots of knowledge. Fixed my bike over the phone.
They ordered parts for me and they recieved them very fast and no that they will do a good job rebuilding my carburetors
Amazing service, staff goes above and beyond. Highly recommended
My bike needed a quick oil change in the middle of a roadtrip, and within an hour of calling Rapley I was back on the road with fresh lube. Professional, friendly, and well-priced - highly recommended!
Had a few moto tires mounted and balanced, cool shop with an awesome fish tank and some cool bikes
Mark and the guys really helped my Dad and I out of a pickle when we were on our road trip through town last week with a new set of tires for his FJR1300. Thanks for the speedy service and fair price that got us back on the road asap!
My husband has a 2006 Yahama VMax and its been cutting out on him recently. He called around to motorcycle repair shops this morning and all were booked for weeks out. He called Rapleys, left a voicemail and they called him back within 30 minutes. Hes in their shop now getting his bike in line for repairs. Awesome customer service and well use this shop going forward 😀
Mark runs a tight shop, good service and knowledgeable staff!
I recently bought a Yamaha R6 and a few days ago I thought the clutch started to slip, figuring I was going to have to buy a new clutch and go down that route I drove by Rapleys to just ask a few questions and get a quote. I told the owner about my problem so he asked to look at my bike. Within seconds he figured out what my problem was. The clutch wasnt bad, it was just way to tight and was engaging wheneve I would ride. He also took time out of his busy schedule there to answer all my stupid beginner questions about everything and he didnt even charge my anything.Im definitely useing this shop for all my bikes and will definitely be referring to other people. Thank you Rapleys for saving me a ton of stress and money. I will definitely see you soon!
Went in there for some basic repairs and my price was less then $200. Instead, it took over a week and never was called about any parts they ordered, then I was charged over $450. If you go there, demand a contract or dont go there at all.
In September of 2013, I took a V-Max 1200cc to Rapley Motor Sports. The issue was very clear and simple. The carbs needed to be cleaned and the seats in the fuel bowls needed to be changed. I called the shop and talked to Mark Rapley, owner/operator of Rapley MotorSports. I informed him of the issue and discussed the cost. He set the price at $300 for the work I wanted done and that it would be finished in a week. Although my father has 50 years’ experience as a professional mechanic, time constraints and my desire to have the bike ready for a vacation that was close at hand, I decided to take it to Rapley. After one week went by, I called Mark. He told me the V-Max was still being repaired but that he now expected it to be done in another week. He also told me that, without my knowledge or consent, he had ordered some parts, but insisted the price would still be $300. After the second week went by, I called and was told it would be yet another week for the parts to arrive.By now I was into my vacation time. The next time I called, once again, the V-Max was not ready. After a total of 4 weeks, and on the last day of my vacation, I received an email rather than a phone call. Mark informed me that the motorcycle was repaired and ready to ride. However, the cost had increased to $604.My father gave me a ride to pick up the bike. We were both impatient to get the motorcycle out of this shop and my father wanted to check this place out, since he believed I had been scammed. On arrival, we found my V-Max outside the shop with the key in the ignition. It could have very easily been stolen. After Mark arrived at the shop we started the motorcycle and it sounded the same as when we had dropped it off. My father asked Mark what he did and what he found. Mark stated that the spark plugs had oil on them. My father looked at the plugs and it was obviously carbon rather than oil. Carbon on a spark plug means you have too much fuel in the system (the main reason for taking it to the shop). Yet Mark stood by his statement that they were oil fouled. He also charged me for the spark plugs that he changed without out my consent or knowledge. We then started the motorcycle and found that the original issues were still present and that he had not replaced a certain spacer in the idle jets. We also later found out that the parts the shop ordered, and for which I was charged, had not been replaced. Yet, Mark stated to me that the parts were changed and the ones that he still possessed were damaged. I demanded to have them and I found them to be new and undamaged. After I finished my business at the shop, I took the V-Max for a ride. The performance was worse than before I took it in and the engine stalled, multiple times, on the freeway. Once I got the bike home, my father and I took a more in depth look. We found that nothing had been changed in the carbs and the seats in the bowls were damaged. Once we replaced them with the supposedly old/damaged parts that I had demanded from the shop, the motorcycle ran like a champ. It only took one day for my father to replace those parts and have it running.Do not use this man’s service; you will be scammed.
My father passed me down his 1992 HD Dyna Wide Glide a few months ago. The bike is tremendously important to me, as well as my father. I live in Seattle, WA. and was referred to Rapley Mototsports by a close friend, whose judgement I trust. Sending my bike to a different state to be rebuilt was a little challenging for me, losing that sense of control that a local shop would afford me. I nervously agreed to ship the bike to Grants Pass, Oregon for the work to be performed. My interactions began with a call from the owner of the shop, Mark Rapley, acknowledging receipt of the bike, and assuring me that he would help me to bring it back to glory. Immediately I was calmed by this personal interaction.I wound up not only restoring the bike, but doing some customizing of it as well. Mark stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process. We had regular conversations to discuss parts and accessories... not only from a cost approval, but from a performance and aesthetic perspective as well. I have never had a business owner spend more time with me in consulting, as I experienced with Mark. The bike was completed, pictures were emailed, and the bike was shipped back to me. I had a timeline for completion of the project, as I wanted to have the bike completed and home in time for a visit from my father. Mark and the team at Rapley Mototrsports made the deadline happen, delivering the bike late in the evening to be sure that my unveiling was perfect.A week later, I had an electrical issue that presented itself. I called the shop and spoke with Mark, who followed up at his own expense to be sure that the issue was resolved. If you have a motorcycle that you are looking to have restored or customized, it is a big decision. In choosing Rapley Motorsports, I look back with pride and confidence on my choice.I HIGHLY recommend Rapley Motorsports to anyone that needs an honest shop that takes pride in the product that leaves their care.
Very friendly and knowledgeable. Only place in Grants Pass to touch our bike!!!
Great guys
