These guys were FAST, professional, and overall helpful. While everyone one else in town was three weeks out and more expensive, these guys got the job done in less than 3 hours! Being from California you get accustomed to customer service that you just don’t typically find in Oregon, however these guys were even better than what you would expect in California. This will be the only place I bring anything to get fixed! They also gave advice on how to prevent the issue from occurring in the future and took the time to show me.

Its irritating that I have to give these people 1 star. I called Appliance and Mower center to repair my outdoor under the counter fridge. The repair man suggested redoing it entirely other than buying a new one. A year later the fridge is not working. I called to let them know I needed their repair person to come back out and get it going, the woman who answered the phone told me they only work on Whirlpool appliances now ! They would not come out and repair what they repaired less than a year previously!! I would not recommend this company to anyone. In this community, your word and your work ethic have to stand for something....dont waste your time or money on this repair company.

From the beginning of the phone call, the attitude of the salesman to find the right appliance, the agreement to hold with your name on the appliance, to Shay coming to home to confirm measured space, in his time, to delivery people delivering 104 degree day still caring about customer needs, even forgetting to ask for payment, that my son ran out to their truck., They even hauled away old appliance. Then salesman have had to deal with property management people, demanding old appliance be delivered to them. And Brian, still ethical in his attitude about other business practice conveyed to me what was not right choice..Thank you appliance and mower, Shay, Brian, delivery men, all of you, you are one of the reasons grants pass is our home. Place has what I need everytime. First few times going I was a little skeptical of they could get anything, but I have been there countless times and they never cease to amaze. From a small little rubber plunger for a carb to parts for my washing machine. Even gotten little things for my 1996 Craftsmans ride on lawnmower. Always courteous and prompt. The people there know their appliances.

I purchased all new appliances from this store and everything was delivered today except the fridge which is on back order. Shea was the salesperson and they really have a gem working there. He went the extra mile to make me happy with my items. The delivery men * were on time and more than helpful. Needless to say that I am happy with everything but the back order and that was beyond anyones control. They are first class all the way. This is now 3 months since I happily wrote the above review. Now the Maytag dishwasher had a glitch and the part had to be ordered. It will be a wait and it is Christmas Eve. The family who we see most of the time, will be here and I need this dishwasher for my own lazyness. The service given to me on this very busy day for this store can never be copied. They went to so much trouble to try and got a part that will work until the new part comes in. Brian and Gary were the most helpful people to make an old lady happy. Merry Christmas to them and the whole store for going the extra mile to please a customer. I would not buy from anyone else.

One time help and the next got just the right amount of sevice.Good prices prices and not pushy. Like being able to shop locally.Havent found the right size yet. I recently bought a used lawn tractor from this great local store. It is serving me and my 4+ acres well. They carry every imaginable part I may need to maintain my tractor and my property. Thay have more than just used mowers. They have a nice selection of new mowers, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, ovens, trash compactors, and dishwashers. I prefer to buy local instead of from big box stores, and I believe that this is a store you should check out before your next purchase of a major appliance or mower.

Recently had our go kart worked on . It was done much sooner than anticipated. They went above and beyond what was asked. They treated it like there kids would be riding it, fixing several safety issues we did not know about!! They are awesome.. highly recommend them

If you are looking for nearly any type of appliance, and prefer to shop local, then consider Appliance & Mower Center off M-N Street just off the GP Parkway. We found the same washing machine here, in-stock, that we would have had to order and wait for from Home Depot. I asked if they would match their competitors pricing and they were able to so they did. Install was quick, easy and reasonable. We had good solid service and are glad we came here. Please keep up the good work!

I have had two lawnmowers repaired at this business and nothing but good has come out of using them. They did a good repair job, they had good communications and they do not charge a arm and a leg!

My family have been going here for many years. Mainly repairs and chainsaw chains. Always enjoyed taking our business there. This time was a little different. I walk in and told the young man the type of saws I had and the length of the bars and said I need chains cut just like every other time. The young man at the counter said I had to bring the saws in because the bars could have different widths. Okay thats true, so I went back to Rogue River to get the saws. I drop it off and get charged a $20 shop fee for making chains. He said he will call when they get done. I get a call about an hour later, they are ready for pick up. I walk in get greeted like always. Nice polite people at the counter. They bring the saws up and the new chains are on already and I get charged another $46 and change thats a total of $66+ to put a new chain on two saws. Very disappointed with this place. Even my dad said he couldnt believe the price. I will be calling to speak with a manager.

Tried to give them some business by asking what could possibly be wrong withy mower. They said I needed to leave it with them for at least 3 days. Im in the landscaping business and was in dier need at that time. He said they were all caught up on repairs. But would not help me any sooner than 3 days. So, I went to Lewiss and they helped trouble shoot my issues and gave me parts that I needed to get back to mowing. Now this will be my go to on repairs and parts

I have been a customer of these people since I learned of them when they were situated by Buy Mart. The people who work here treat you as if you were part of their family, and will go looking for parts for you. If you have an older mower, or mowing tractor these guys will help you support the equipment you have chosen (or had laid on you) to use for your yard. The parts stock on hand is much more extensive than one would think in looking at their shop. This array of parts is known to the people who work there, and they will find you similar things that are off label but will work if you talk to them about your needs. Very open to hearing what you are trying to do, they will help you be successful in any project.

Our refrigerator went out on us and Appliance & Mower Center was able to deliver us a new one the same day. Extremely grateful for their service and local hometown care. Perfect delivery and installation. Our family highly recommends this business.

Its not what it used to be, customer service is rude, they never pick up the phone, make you wait longer than any other store, give wrong advice and refuse to take the parts back, etc.. etc... anyway, good bye Appliance & mower center and hello Grants Pass power equipment. I believe their online presence is diverting their attention to local customer. Good luck with your online sales, you lost me as a local client.

Couldnt be happier with the service I received here. My dryer stopped heating and they helped me trouble shoot it before spending money on parts. Even though the dryer was 13+ years old, they recommended repairing it instead of replacing it. Less than 1hr and $100 later, my dryer is running like new again!

I will never work with these people again. I paid only for diagnosis and they turn around and started repairing it right underneath me and I had to pay for the repairs they did when I told them I didnt want them working on it. They like to squeeze every last penny out single moms and females. Never take your stuff down there unless you plan to pay more than what they say. The reply back from the owner on my review is false. My go-cart was not torn apart, everything was all put together and it was washed and cleaned up, also they charged me for other parts they put on the go-kart that they were not authorized too and charged me a huge bill for just their labor alone. That cost 10x more than the parts. I also did not sign any paperwork allowing them to work on it only to diagnose it and that was it. They were not supposed to repair it in anyway what so ever. All my family members are very upset by it and said they will never take any of their stuff to them.

If I could give negative stars I would. My wife changed her mind on the color of the microwave we got and they refused to help us without paying extra. We have not had the microwave for 24hrs. I talked to the owner who was rude and told me it was against the law? to take the microwave back. I asked her what law and of course she had no clue what law since it does not exist. I would run from this place as quickly as possible. There is no product here that you cant find elsewhere with better customer service. I called the appliance store on sixth street and asked about this, they laughed and said they would have exchanged it for us. Stay away. They are not worth it. They should go learn what customer service is.

I just bought a stacking washer and dryer here on the high recommendation of our local hardware store. The price was the lowest that I found anywhere and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The delivery staff was especially knowledgeable and easy to work with. Ill be back.

I love these guys. So nice and friendly to me when i have to go there for my hubby. They take care of it all. Great service and repair.

The customer service is nice enough, however, if they do not have what you are looking for in the showroom make sure you know for certain what you are buying. I purchased an electric range from them which they did not have in store but assured me was just like the gas range in the store. It took 8 weeks for it to be delivered, since it needed to be ordered, and when it arrived it was not like the gas range I saw in the store and not what I wanted. The delivery man took it tight back but I was left with trying to find another range and a pricey $300 restocking fee. I will not be going back there any time soon.

Super service and resolved my mower problem in short order.

Bought a part for washing machine (water valve) and they took time to make sure it would work, and even found a cheaper part (half the price) that would do just as well (identical to me). Also gave good recommendation for finding other parts I needed for another project that they didnt carry and another for great selection of wiring (both local independent businesses). I could have got the original part on ebay for a few dollars less but wouldnt have got all that extra help. Its what a local business is supposed to be.

We have done quite a bit of business with these folks, several appliances and some outdoor equipment. They have rapidly gone down hill with growth of their business and no longer try to give customer service. Instead they just give excuses. Our latest purchase was $2000 gas range. They would not convert it to propane for us so I had to hire a plumber. The factory sent the wrong gas conversion orifices. When I called Appliance and Mower Center for help, they said contact the factory as we dont make appliances. Instead of looking to see if they had another gas range that we could get an orifice from they told me to try and find one and they would pay for it. I am a homeowner and customer and I am not in the appliance and parts business. Obviously they wont be either if they dont change their approach to helping repeat, good customers. I also checked the price we paid for the range and we could have saved money buying in Medford.RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:Yes, your response to me as a customer made me angry. I called for help and got a snippy response, We dont make appliances, call the factory. A much better first response would have been Lets see if we can help you. And then you called me back and said that if I could find the part, you would reimburse me. That made me even more angry. If it is true you spent hours trying to find the part, it would have been polite to have called me back and told me. I called the factory and requested the part be shipped expedited. If you really did call the factory, it was after I had already placed my order with them. Had I purchased my range from West Coast Appliance in Medford, they would have converted it to propane, delivered and connected it. I would not have had to pay a plumber to come out twice. I HOPE YOU LEARN THE VALUE OF SERVICING CUSTOMERS. IT ENCOURAGES REPEAT BUSINESS!

They sold us a dryer that did not have a credit. No one said anything about it not having a cord! There was no sign that said there wasnt a cord. They told us that if the dryer didnt work they would come to our house to fix it. Does that mean they should come out a cord on it???? We had to drive a ways BACK to Grants Pass to go to home Depot and spend more money on a cord. TOTALLY LAME!

Tried to collect money from me that they say I owed from 5 years ago. In that 5 years they never contacted me either by phone, mail, nothing. Then I out of the blue I get a bill from them. I think they need money and tried to see who they could scam. They turned me over for collection. I refused to pay. They eventually took it off the books

My drier broke and they gave me some good information that I was missing from online research. Replaced the part several time and they had no problem selling me the wrong part. Went to another repair shop (T & N Trading Post) and got the right part. Will not go back here again.

Staff was awesome. I took in some parts from my dryer in. Cause I didnt voltage checker. They showed me how check it and got me parts I need.

The customer service at this place is severely lacking. I came in yesterday to fix my mower. They have this ridiculous policy, a $20 assessment charge to look at the mower. I know whats wrong with it, I just want the item fixed. So I think on it and find they are the only mower repair shop in town so I come back and they say they arent taking anymore repairs because they have nowhere to put them. What the hell! Why didnt you write down my phone number if you knew I was coming back? I finally decided f**** it and bought a new one on Amazon. What a complete waste of time!

Treat staff terribly and when an appliance gets a scratch or ding they cover it up or use appliance touch up paint to cover it up and still sell it new unless the customer discovers it. The staff was great, and the service was excellent. The Appliance and Lawnmower Center is the only parts store i can rely on having the part i was looking for. Well i learned my lesson,after i wasted almost a full day looking in Grants Pass at almost every parts store in Grants Pass, even Sears where the Washer/Dryer were purchased at, and either Sears and the other parts store did not have a drumbelt for my Whirlpool duet front load dryer, but they all told me they coul order on line,which takes 3 to 5 days to recieve,and my family and I could not go without their dryer that long. So after every parts store failed, then I found the number to The Appliance and Lawnmower Center, I gave them a call, and they went out of there way and found the part, and they all waited for me after closing Time and unlocked there doors so I could get my dryer running that night. Thanks to all the staff, and The Appliance and Mower Center will be my first stop. I will b a customer for a long time. Davids

I purchased a whirlpool washer and dryer from Appliance and Mower Center. The first day I called the Appliance & Mower center I told them that the washing machine was so loud I didn t like it. They said It was just how it was. Nothing was done about it. I guess even though I didn t like them I was stuck with them. One month and the dryer drum has chipped. Six months and the washing machine doesn t drain. Say s it s working when its not, doesn t lock the door and last night I come home and it s on working and the door is wide open. I called The Appliance & Mower again to tell them how unhappy I was. She said their is nothing she can do. I understand It has been six months, but I called the first day I purchased them and told them I was unhappy with them. I will never purchase a whirlpool again. I will never trust Appliance & Mower center to make a purchase because they don t stand behind their product. Horrible customer service.......You should be ashamed of yourself.. Sad:(Craigslist sells used washing machines for $100 that will last years. Last one I bought Six years ago for $200 Still worked great when I sold it to buy these new piece of crap... It was a Maytag:)
