The store is also very neat, clean, and organized well. Had a wonderful atmosphere and made the decision to switch over that much easier.

Normally the customer service is great. Today not so much, sat in the curbside pick up for nearly 45 minutes. This is after I was told the order was ready for pick up. Other than that it was alright.

The team here is incredible. So knowledgeable, helpful and friendly when answering my questions. They’re obviously trying to do their best. Retail is a difficult job and I see all to often customers treat retail employees with such disrespect. This team has a difficult job but they handle it well and take care of their customers.

I thought I’d stop by this store after attempting to call this location 3 times. It was my intent to open a business account... instead I was met with condescension and rude remarks. Typical sub-par employees. Was it too close to closing time? Was it the color of my skin? I’m not sure but what I do know is that as I sit in the parking lot typing this, the young lady and the gentleman with her definitely didn’t get the rude side of you that I just did. Maybe if I looked like them I’d deserve a more professional even pleasant interaction with you. Either way, I’ll take my business somewhere else. Verizon, Do better.

Salesperson Andrew was not honest, he gave me a quote on my plan and what my bill would be and he even wrote it on paper and it isn’t even close, it’s over one hundred dollars more, he knew he had to come close to what I was paying at T-Mobile so he lied to me, he also sold me an insurance plan that was seventeen dollars a month and didn’t tell me about the less expensive plan, now I know what he meant when he said they were paid on commission, be careful if you go there, it’s a shame and now I’m stuck!

I understand being safe in todays environment, but I went to cancel a relatives service due to death and said that while I was there, I wanted to see the new phones. They let me cancel the service, but I couldnt look at new phones without an appointment, (even though most employees were playing on their phones). Huh??? Guess Ill just keep my old phone.

It seems most businesses have been able to keep their customer service during this pandemic, but not this store. All we wanted to do was purchase a phone, this was apparently too much for them to handle. Save your time and just call Verizon corporate directly and order a phone from them. Don’t give these condescending employees your business.

Had someone on the phone tell me it was first come first serve, drove all the way out just to have them tell me it was appointment only even though I knew what I wanted oh well this place can choke on it, decided to go spend 1,300$ at Bestbuy instead, they were extremely helpful. Save your time, go to Bestbuy just up the road.

Went in to get a new phone and accessories and make sure I was on the best plan. Luckily for me, Christina was the associate who helped me. It was a terrific transaction - from helping me select a new phone, checking plan advantages, bundling accessories, helping me back up my old phone - it was all flawless. Thank you to Christina who made what had been typically a stressful experience into something beyond my hopes. I was back up and running in a short time - I am so grateful!

Girl answering the door extremely unhelpful! Told me I did not need an appointment for setting up my new corporate phone and said it is my ITs job to set up software on my phone. Our IT department is on the other side of the state due to COVID we can not go between offices. They have already downloaded our software and send us to the store so that if there is an issue during activation it can be resolved immediately, as we need 24/7 access to our phones for patients and hospital calls.

I’m disappointed that I have to give this location any stars. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 15 years, and I’ve stayed with them because of the customer service I’ve gotten in the past.The first issue is how they deal with incoming customers, poor service from the start... it’s a free for all and you never know where you are “in line” for service. My hint to you, if you choose to use this location, is hunt down the “associate” that is managing the list of customers... which isn’t always easy to find.My next issue is the manager, don’t bother with any of them, they are useless. If you have a problem, go directly to the corporate office via web/app/phone. They will talk down to you, talk in circles and never accept the issues at hand were caused by their team. Having some accountability for the issues created by the team of associates is key. I would never had any problems if the order was entered properly in the first place but my issue was dragged out for about 3 months!!!This location needs a BIG LESSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. We the customers are paying you for proper service, knowledge and experience. Be kind, be helpful, be resourceful, care about your customer.

An inexperienced sales person has refused to help me on 2 occasions. After I waited 2 hours I bought a brand new iPhone X paid cash for it the lady that was helping us pocketed the money and then charge me for the phone. Called Verizon they said they can’t find out the truth of the matter, I said this woman is on camera taking my money, had a trip to Hawaii, came back to find out that I was being charged a second time, horrendous. I was furious, I had been a customer since Verizon opened period. I said that’s it I am no longer dealing with this nonsense, going to a different service forever!

I was into the Verizon rivertown location on November 19. The rep wasinattentive and uninterested in my phone issues. He said he doubted the problem was with my phone but rather was because of settings I had neglected to adjust. I assured him that the settings were correct but the phone was not responding to those settings. When I asked him a question about how to change a different setting, he said I dont know; I dont have a pixel. Have your son do it for you. There is definitely something wrong with this phone because there have been serious issues that I have been into a Verizon store a couple times with in the last month. It was not booting up properly and The sound was going out intermittently. He did order a replacement but said I am on my own with getting it set up. Upon my request, he very reluctantly showed me how to change the SIM card from the old phone to the new one when it comes to my home tomorrow. Then he put the cover back on my phone upside down.

Came to this store after a very unhelpful experience at another Verizon. Kevin was amazing and knew how to help me. He actually took the time to look up my account and see that I had full protection over my device and ordered me a new one to be sent to me via next day shipping. The other store basically said that I should just get a wireless charger from them (my charging port wasnt working) and didnt check with my account at all to see that I had protection. Thanks for the great customer service at the Grandville location!

Ive been to a couple Verizon stores and this one is pretty good. The sales staff is helpful and not too pushy. Every time Ive gone to this store, though, Ive had a pretty long wait. So that being said, I will continue to go to this store as my Verizon store, but I wont expect to be in and out either.

Wish I had other options.Left after 1 hour without even a nod from an employee. Eventually those three employees walking around disappeared in the back for a minimum of 20 minutes. I hope you don’t pay these people very well per say certainly don’t represent you properly.

This is an impressive store with quite a bit of Verizon products on display. For that reason, its often very busy. The staff does a good job checking you in upon arrival, and then takes care of you in order of arrival. Go in with patience, and youll go out with a smile.

Absolutely stellar customer service. I was in there tonight, upgrading my iPhone to an 11 (yes the 11 y’all, not the 11 pro). & I even converted from my Fitbit to an Apple Watch. Fingers crossed I love it just as much if not more than my Fitbit. Christina helped me out & I’m so glad she did. She absolutely killed it tonight, my entire experience was the best it could have been. This location was also one of the best Verizon stores I have ever been to, the selection of products is insane! It’s fresh, & clean inside, slightly resembles an Apple store minus the horrid long lines & unpleasant customer service. This store has it all, I will beyond a doubt be back again & I’ll definitely be asking for Christina. Thanks again Christina, you were awesome to work with!

Pretty awful customer service. Ive stopped in this particular Verizon store 5 or 6 times to make changes to our family plan of 6 lines. Without fail, each time I visit asking for a quote to make changes to our account I get completely different answers from each different employee. When I explain that a previous rep told me something different, the attitude of each rep is that its not thier problem.Our most recent visit was the worst and reason for this review. My wife and I stopped-in to get information about our insurance plan. I stated to the Verizon rep that a previous rep sold me the insurance plan based on specific features. She (Verizon rep helping us) explained that none of the features I mentioned existed and that it wasnt her problem that I was told otherwise. Her condescending attitude is what really pissed me off.All-in-all, its pretty garbage customer service here. I dont know if other branches have the same climate, but Im moving to a different carrier as soon as I find something better. Although Im sure there isnt a better alternative.

Sales guy would not shut up, kept trying to sell me a case for my phone. Even after I told him NO 6 times... Yes 6! 39.99$ at Verizon, found the same one for 4.49 online free shipping. Then he proceeded to drop my phone on the floor. Sounded upset not to make his commission on a few ancillaries. Stay away for the stores if you can, the cars on the phone are alot more helpful.

This store is amazing!! We recently switched to Verizon from att. There was a weird situation where att did not switch my Number over correctly. We ended up having to go to the Verizon store a few different days. ( not Verizon’s fault) and each and every time was a great experience! We had Noah every time was he was always great!! If I could give 10 stars I 100% would.That being said when we were in the store it amazed me how rude people can be. Please give these people the same amount of Patients and respect they give you. Don’t go in there mad and rude... because it’s probably not their fault.

Then the manager Sean was unwilling to compensate us for the delay in the devices arrival and the hours I spent attempting to resolve the issue with Verizon customer service. Went in on a Wednesday, was told my phone would be ordered. It wasnt. Went back on Saturday, was told I had to wait in line. Then was told well, if you came in during the week, you wouldnt have to wait. They had no record of my previous order, but the guy swore he ordered it. Customer service has really gone downhill in the last year.

These people were there to HELP you! They were knowledgeable, speedy in their work and kind on top of it. It was a busy store when we were there. Got in, got out rather quickly! Thats a good way to shop! However, I deducted 1 star from my rating due to the fact I was told the deductible for the insurance on my Google Pixel 3 was only going to be $100.00. I just so happened to have dropped my phone several times in a matter of two weeks!! Yes, I bought a protectors for screen and body of the phone. People could not hear me when I had the phone protector on. So... I took it off and when I did so, the case broke in 2! Now I wasnt rough with it as I tried to get it off my phone. So I cracked my case of my phone, the screen and many other houses in a matter of 2 weeks! I filled out the on-line form for the insurance claim through Acsurion. The deductible was $200! Not what I was expecting. I paid it anyways. Got a phone not in the next day promise they offered but several days later. The total for not sending in the broken phone would be $800.00 if not sent within 15 days. CAUTION... The Google Pixel 3 has a fantastic feature for photography. It puts my expensive Canon digital camera to shame! However, this phone is made sooooo cheaply that if you drop it once in a hard floor, the case will crack as well as the screen!! YES THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED WITH MY REPLACED PHONE!! So, I am NOT going to pay another $200.00 to get another Google Pixel3 within a matter of 3 weeks! It is currently working, and I have it duct-taped together due to the case cracking all over the back! I look like I cannot afford another phone. But at this point.. I DO NOT CARE! I think the duct tape is doing a better job than my expensive, sparkly case! Im not going to shell out another $200.00, which would total in 3 weeks $400.00. Half the cost of buying a new one!!! Buyer beware. Thats all Im saying! The people at the store deserved the 4 stars. I was the idiot in this experience!

Terra at the Grandville store is extremely rude and demeaning! Avoid her at all cost and let somebody else earn commission. My son and I could not believe the way we were spoken to by her and how she continued to belittle us. I wish we would have just purchased my new phone at Best Buy where I have never had a problem and they don’t try “upsell”. Terra was extremely annoyed and rude with the fact we didn’t want to purchase anything other than the phone. She even went as far as asking me if I care about my college kids safety because I declined buying a gadget for their car. When I walked away she told my 20 year old son “I feel sorry for you”. As an office manage of a physician office I can honestly say I ALWAYS give my staff the benefit of the doubt when a patient complains, however, Terra does NOT DESERVE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT nor does she deserve this job!

We had questions about additional fees and he was quick to get upset and accuse us of calling him stupid which we never did. Last time I was here I walked in I wasnt greeted right away then I was told someone would take me and very soon so I sat down. Another lady walks in same gentleman greet her and ask what her name so she can be checked in interestingly enough I wasn’t too sure why she got the level of service and I didn’t. So yeah Verizon has great stores this personally to me doesnt meet that criteria of friendliness, courteous, and sense of urgency on getting people helped but maybe it’s because I’m from New York City and we New Yorkers understand each other.

Called to get lateat cost on unlimited Data plans for 2 phones. Verizon has not changed their pricing in ages. Consultant suggested i call Verizon for their Loyalty plan since i had been a customer for long. I guess Verizon really doesnt care about their customers because after 30 minutes on hold and no response, i deciced to seitch to Sprint for 1/2 the price of verizon.

Sales rep Christina was supposed to process a refund and I still havent received it. After several call and six days later I spoke with Oliva the store manager who was extremely rude and talked over me the whole conversation. Come to find out Christina never processed the refund. Oliva offered no apologies and no empathy. The staff is untrained and the manager has no idea what good customer service is. Oliva also refused to provide contact info for her supervisor. Still no refund. Unprofessional and unapologetic.
