We are engaged! My fiancé told me he had a great experience with lots of laughs picking out my gorgeous ring. I am so impressed and surprised by what he proposed with. I had it sized down 1/4 size a couple of days later and they were quick to help. Had this bad boy back on before the end of the day. Thank you for being so gracious and helpful.

Well trained, safe, good customers service! I read some of the other reviews and had the opposite experience so I knew I had to review. We worked directly Travis, the manager, who was great and very helpful. The entire staff is willing to make your jewelry “dreams” happen! They have a large selection and besides what they have in store they can get you thousands of other options. They are professional and know their jewelry! They custom created a wedding band to wrap and my wife’s engagement ring. After that we came back to get a ring for my daughter (made from family gems that have been passed down). I really appreciated the great service!

They said my blue diamond was a blue topaz the machine tested out as Moissanite... The store owner said it was the coating on the diamond had it tested 2 other places they said it was a diamond. They also said my 17.7ct emerald from Brazil was not an emerald because it has a weird inclusion

I would take ring for inspection and clean to another Jared. This location has no sense for customer service, on cleaning and inspection. When you try to express your concern and lack of customer support, they use the cop out word threatening me.

Good service while shopping but had them build a band which broke without any real abuse. My new wife called about having it repaired and chance of it being warranty. That’s where the good service ended, they weren’t interested in helping at that point. If you want to buy something they’ll be helpful, if you need help with what you’ve purchased good luck. I’ve had better customer service at pawn shops, I’ll never step foot in their store again.

NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!!Travis Mack, the general manager has horrible customer service skills. He has hug up on customers, said terrible things to them. He has threatened customers, and even told me that he is a “blunt, outspoken, drag queen who ‘doesn’t care’ about your problems.” He lies to customers and even has refused service to customers for their policial views alone.Speaking from experience, I would avoid this store at any and ALL costs. There are much better places to buy your jewelry from. He had my wife in tears. Such a horrible representation of Signet Jewelers as a whole.

I have no problem with Jareds but the manager in Grand Rapids, Travis Mack is rude and has poor customer relation skills. Avoid him.My wife had a small diamond fall out of her 14 month old wedding ring. When we brought it in to get it reset there was no problem. After we left Travis called and said we will owe $95 to get it fixed. Somehow they lost our warranty even though it was repaired 2 months before for a different issue. When questioned he stated a defective ring was not his problem and we could either pay $95 or drive back and get the ring. He then said he would be glad to sell us a new warranty after we paid the $95. I will never go to that store again.

First annoying thing: my fiancé made my engagement ring out of a band and when we went back to buy the band, we found out they no longer sell that band.Second annoying thing: I’ve had my ring sized twice and still doesn’t fit right.Third annoying thing: we bought a wedding band for my fiancé and it was too big, we took it back to exchange and they didn’t have one that fit. I told them I would keep it just in case we didn’t find one elsewhere so we would have one for the wedding. Well we found one. Once I tried to return it they gave me a hard time because it was past the 30 days. The lady never told me that when I told her what our plan was! She got her manager and his response about the return policy was “it’s online and written on the receipt”.You would think after spending over $10,000 in jewelry there this year you would get some decent customer service. The manager is a sassy little brat and I will never spend another penny here. ✌🏼

Great experience got my fiances engagement ring here & they said the diamond needed to be repositioned on the ring. Which they did for no charge more than 2 months after the purchase. Great service here. If you trust them they will take care of you but if you act like you know more than them I can understand why they get a little rude. They are the pros & they are good at what they do.

Would not accept a return or exchange even though the purchase was within 30 days and in line with return policy. kept on pushing the 100$ service policy, and wouldnt let it go. lied and said that all returns must be online. was initially friendly then turned rude when I said I wasnt going to buy anything they were pushing.

This location has the best customer service I have ever experienced. We have become regulars between ring repairs and purchases. Every time we walk in we are greeted kindly and have been able to get to know the staff very well. Christina, Mark, Naomi and Sherri are amazing and it has been so wonderful to see them every time we have to stop in. I had been in so many times for repairs that they were able to replace my ring with a new one. About a month later we were able to purchase our wedding bands. I now have such a beautiful quality ring that will last a lifetime. They go the extra mile at this location to build a relationship with their customers and there are honestly no words for how much I appreciate everyone that works there

I had some pretty specific items to purchase with lots of questions. Sheri Fitzsimmons was OVER THE TOP helpful. She was knowledgeable and even let me know about upcoming promotions to save me money. READ THE FINE PRINT!!This store is the nightmare that will never end. In looking at a ring, I opened a store account. That account was promised to me as a zero interest account. Charge a ring to the account, then I return it. The account gets refunded. BUT interest was charged (!!!!!) while I had the charge on my account. Got that refunded too. THEN the account has a minimum charge where they charge you monthly for the pleasure of having the account open.This all occurred over the course of two months. Im tired of thinking Im done with them, then I end up not being done. I didnt even buy anything!!!The staff is pushy, the merchandise is overpriced (seriously, compare them to another jeweler in the area), and they wont ever leave you alone.Stay away. If you value your sanity, stay away. If you value your peace, stay away.

I always knew that Jared was top-notch for product, but it seems their sales people are unbelievable as well. Nicole Osborn went above and beyond the call of duty, getting me EXACTLY what I wanted. Not in the showcase? No problem! Lets just look at the catalogs (under the desk) to see if theres a piece that fits my needs. Yep! Not in the GR store, but lets transfer it from another store in Ohio that does have it, and lets get it in a couple of days, so its here before Christmas! Thanks Nicole. My husband and I will never never go back. They are sweet to your face until soEthi g goes wrong. They lie. Tell you your ri g will be here in 2 days. Then it’s a week then tomorrow. Never happened. My husband’s ring had a hole in it when they went to resize it. Couldn’t be done they said. Exchange it. Well clearances out his ring said you can’t get it. I went on line and found it. Very very upset. Tried to have them order. Once again. In a week 2 days tomorrow’. Never returned our calls. 1 in particular said we will take care of you. You know that. What a joke. Her name starts with a N. Ends with an H. Fake person. Don’t fall for the sweetness when she first meets you. My diamond from the same place has had missing stones every time but 1 and I thought diamonds on a ring stayed. Every 6 months replace diamonds. Very upset with that whole place. They work together. Don’t shop hereOn the other hand. We still have warranties through shared so we went to tanger outlet. We explained everything. He got on the phone. Justin is his name. Had our ring coming to the store to replace my husband’s. Wow!!!! That took no time at all. We now have it sized and polished and I will always go here. The Jared outlet at Tanger outlet mall. My family loves Jareds! This by far is my favorite location, friendly staff and they do a great job customizing rings and repairs. I love that they have the repair service right in the store instead of sending out your jewelry! Clean, fancy, flashy, pricy. Nice staff but mostly just want you to buy stuff (the more expensive the better). They really try to divert you to the higher quality items in there. The people never remember you, even if its the same person helping you the next day. I get they see many people but can NO ONE there remember a face!!?

Growing up in a family of goldsmiths and jewelers... this is the last place I would ever go from now on, and I wont be returning ever. A year ago I came in with some custom jewely to have them refinish the metal. They spent more time trying to test diamonds to see if they were real and pointing out any flaw until I asked to see their jewelry. Tables turned, the rep didnt like it either. Shortly after I came in looking for a 2 carat diamond and had my own band to have set, I was ridiculed about not giving her something 100% from me after I explained it was my mother in laws engagement ring.. which was given to me so I could give a more meaningful ring like a good blessing. Upgrading to 2 carats isnt enough? Is it really about the object? I felt kind of disgusted with the back and forth about that so I left. I bought a diamond elsewhere immediately after. Today my now wife and I came in so I could get an engagement ring made for her sister. I brought the diamond mounted to the head which was the original to the ring I gave my wife. There seemed to be a lot of commotion once the rep went to the jewelers area so I went over... They told us the diamond was not real!! I dont think they knew it wasnt for my wife who was also right there, it seemed way over the top shameless. I told the jeweler I have the paperwork and know its not what hes saying, and he went on to say that it was a good one not exactly CV maybe moisonite. He then couldnt get his tester to work, which made me curious what he was thinking he would find if he thought that.. he kept rambling and couldnt get a reading at all while I stood there trying to figure out why he needs to test a mounted diamond that just needs the peg set into a band. They tested the same diamond before the head was removed last year!! I told the jeweler I had another place that would do it half the price, just to get it done by someone I trust. Hopefully all of you get better service and experiences here!!

Disappointed. If you buy a warranty for a ring, dont expect a very thorough cleaning or inspection. I bought an engagement ring (with warranty) at this location and went elsewhere for the diamond because Jared does not give the option for lab diamonds. Every six months we come in for the inspection, as required. On my most visit, they missed three loose stones and the cleaning was not very impressive. The location in Grandville also missed the loose stones. Youll receive apathetic customer service if youre not there to buy anything.

My boyfriend had purchased me a necklace online from Jared and it needed to be inspected every 6 months. I took it in to be cleaned and inspected for the first time. It was noted to have 2 missing diamonds and 2 missing prongs (Not sure how because I had only worn about a dozen times). To replace the prongs would be $45, but the diamonds were covered under warranty. The lady who helped me, said that because it was under a year that the item was purchased, I could purchase the lifetime warranty for $30 and everything like this would be covered in the future (my boyfriend opted not to get this when initially purchased). She saved me some money and covered future issues, which I appreciate. She told me the necklace would be ready in 2 days. I do not live in the area and returned 3 weeks later, but I never received a phone call saying the necklace was ready.

INSPECT YOUR ITEMS!!!If I could go negative on this I would. On a Saturday, I dropped off a family heirloom diamond ring to have it cleaned and a chipped small side stone replaced, I had to pay in advance. They stated it should be finished by Friday and they would call. Two weeks later I havent heard from them so I stop in and the ring is ready. When I looked it over I could see something was not right so I asked to view with their scope. They didnt replace the chipped diamond! They only cleaned that ring! I wonder how many people they fooled in this way.The manager came over all apologetic and stated she would get to the bottom of the problem. Found that the cut of my diamonds was different than the ones they keep in stock and would need to special order. Said it should be complete by Friday and she would personally call me and she is so sorry this happened. I asked, HOW could this happen??? No note, no communication internally that there was a problem with this order??? She was so sorry.Two weeks go by and I had not heard from her. I call and talk to the general manager and explained the situation. He apologized and said it was ready.When I went in they gave me my ring and I inspected under the scope. The color and quality of the diamond they replaced was NOT in line with the rest of the diamonds in the ring and the manager work with me (the same one who was supposed to call me and never did) talked to me as if I was an idiot and how could I not see that the quality was really the same. You must move the ring around to really see the characters. Oh, really? Huh, thanks for that advice Captain Obvious. After arguing a bit I was just ready to leave and she said ok. I said, um, you are supposed to give me my chipped diamond back. She asked if she could see my ring, to ensure she would get the right size. Im like, really? Its not filed under my name, plus it should be the only one with the special cut that you dont keep in stock. She brought me a small diamond, I was so angry at this point I jut took it and my ring and walked out. But they were sorry for my trouble {eye roll}. Their apologies mean absolutely nothing and do nothing. Telling me your sorry doesnt fix the all the issues here.I will NEVER go there for anything, ever again, and I will tell everyone I know not to go there, either, unless they want to be ripped off.Terrible, just terrible.

Agree with other reviews. Their return policy is terrible and not at all in line with other jewelry chain stores. If you buy a gift make sure the recipient knows you must return within 30 days of purchase or you are stuck with it. No exceptions. So for example if you plan ahead in November and buy a Christmas gift your recipient cannot return it no matter what. I have worked in jewelry retail and I was astonished when the manager refused to do anything. This was an in stock item with receipt in original packaging that could easily be resold, not anything with custom work.

I brought my wedding band in for a cleaning and rhodium plating. I told that lady that when I first purchased the ring it was mostly white gold with two lines of yellow gold where the grooves on each side of the ring. The ring was purchased from Jared and the description of the ring should have been saved in their system.After going back with my ring to the techs who clean and repair jewelry, she tells me that they checked and did not see any yellow gold.Frustrated, I just said OK, just rhodium plate the whole thing again. So, buying the extended warranty plan gets me a partial plan on only the areas in which they choose to take care of. Apparently doing something that may be too difficult is not going to happen. It was just easier to dunk the entire ring than remove the old rhodium to expose the yellow gold.

Our Jared sales associate put pressure on us to buy a ring we werent interested in just in case because it happened to be my size (mens 8), and we were getting married in a couple weeks. They assured us several times that if we didnt like the ring, we could easily return it after the honeymoon. We found another ring we liked much better and planned to return the one to Jared after the honeymoon. When we tried to make the return earlier this week, they told us we were about a week past the 30 days for return and that our only option was to pick out another item in the store on the spot if we didnt want to keep this ring.The 30 day return policy was never mentioned in person (though they knew when our wedding was), it was only buried on the second page of an 8 inch square, two page receipt with hundreds or thousands of words.We then asked to speak to the manager, and Rick Mann came over and said that we could have three days to choose another item, and asked if we had any events coming up that wed like to purchase jewelry for. No, we dont. We called corporate Jared two days later and were told we could have until the end of the month to make an exchange for some other overpriced jewelry we dont want with no event coming up that wed like to purchase jewelry for. But they absolutely refuse to make a return.Wed just sell this on eBay, but Jared literally sells things for 10 times the price elsewhere. This ring that they sold us for $296.79 including tax is available on eBay or Etsy for $30 with great reviews.

I recently dropped off a very detailed Tacori ring that I needed sized up. I was VERY hesitant that the design would get damaged in the upsizing process, but I didn’t want to wait 4 weeks to get it back from Tacori. I wanted to make sure the Tacori and the Platinum stamping inside the band didn’t get removed in the process. Jared- The manager actually worked on my ring. He took his time, listened to my concerns and returned a gorgeous ring. He even extended the design on the band somewhat so it looked as if it was never sized. Exceptional work. Highly recommend!!!

Walked into Jareds knowing exactly what I wanted to purchase my wife for our 27th wedding anniversary...a Tissot watch. She’s hasn’t had a watch since we’ve been married and she wanted a watch. I have a Tissot and so does my 23 year old son. The salesperson was very helpful in my quest, but a female Tissot wasn’t grabbing my attention. The salesperson guided me towards the Movado Watches. Terrible customer service! I was in the area with my now husband and we needed to purchase a wedding band to match my custom ring, we found one and the Manager actually helped us and it was a great experience. A few weeks later I was back in the area to drop my ring off to have jeweler soder both rings. Since I do not live in the area, they agreed to have the ring sent to J.B. Robinson (who is a sister company of Jared) in Saginaw. They never called to let me know it was shipped to the store nor did the J.B. Robinson store ever call to let me know my ring was delivered! Horrible customer service! On top of all this, my watch which was purchased from Jared a few years ago the battery needed to be replaced and it is a watch that has to be sent out. Of course they call to let me know it is ready and again I ask that it can be shipped the gentlemen I talked to said he would look into it and let me know, 2 weeks goes by (I was out of the country, otherwise I would have followed up on my own) and I dont hear anything! I call and again they have to get a manager approval for this.. no apologizes or anything! I would never recommenced Jared due to the horrible customer service, which is a shame since I really like the selection in jewelry.

Rings not ready when I went to pick up. Miscommunication between sales and jewelers. Will not be returning. After issue, sales continued to mislead me about the mistake. Not a comfortable situation. Would be 1 star but the store was clean.

Jareds is the best! They have cheesy commercials, but their sales people are very nice, and not pushy. I went to many other jewlers in the area and Jareds on 28th was by far the best. Ask for Josh. Hes super cool and wont pressure you into buying something.

I went to Jared to get some Christmas stuff the people there were very friendly very immediate with the service I was looking for I told them what I was looking for they went out back and brought it up and had exactly what I needed I would recommend Jared to everyone I know I’ll definitely go back there
