Stopped in to exchange modems. Supposed to be an easy exchange, had my bill. Staff and manager made this an awful experience. I was not the “authorized” name on the account. No work around offered. Went home called Comcast, no problems. They are sending me the new modem. Why can’t in person store be that helpful.

Wow, bad service two times in a row at this place, and I havent even been helped yetI have just wanted to know what my options are for upgrading my current iPhone to a newer model. The first time in, I was told twenty minutes. I looked around at the iPhones, sat down for a while, then decided to look at some of the other devices to amuse myself. By this time, I was in there for about a half hour and hadnt been helped. Then, one of the alarms went off on one of the flip screen phones I was looking at. The girl who came over to disarm it was very annoyed WITH ME apparently, and acted like it was my fault. NONE of the other alarms had been triggered by me on any of the other devices I had handled at this point. Her attitude ticked me off, so then I decided to ask how much longer, and there was STILL someone ahead of me. I left.Tonight I walk in, seeking the same information I couldnt get the other day, but I didnt even get the chance to get checked in for help. The greeter who checks you in was immediately talked over by some lazy looking guy on a laptop who also wanted to know why I was there and said that depending on what I wanted I probably wouldnt be helped that time either, because they were closing in 15 minutes. I just wanted information, but that guy made me feel really uncomfortable and I didnt even get the chance to ask a single question. I left again, this time pretty angry. Store looks nice, but the people Ive encountered there are rude.

Zack was very helpful and provided me with the best customer service. EVERYONE Ive dealt with at this location is outstanding. They always resolve my problems and I leave very happy. 100% recommend!!! Highly skilled and knowledgeable staff. Zach went above and beyond to make sure my home entertainment needs were the best the could be. He even gave me options to have multiple outcomes and fixes. Trust Zack and the rest of his team to take care of what you need! Was told to come to this location by a representative and the gentleman who was helping me was doing what needed to be done to get my phone working and the phone previously purchased returned than (heavy white guy) came and told him no I needed to call their system couldn’t do the switch. I’m return called and was directed to the other store where he swapped phones on the account and returned the purchase phone. To the guy who directed the man helping me not to do what was right poor service. Thanks for not helping a customer of 3 years. Bad service!!!

This review is for the store, not Comcast in general. I had been trying to get a premium package off my account for weeks. Phone reps could do nothing, website was useless. Comcast in general has little interest ina customer trying to reduce their monthly fees.... Then my sister reminded me of the local store.I went in with my information. I was greeted nicely and he fixed my concern in about 5 minutes. Im very greatfdul there is one part of the Comcast empire that believes in customer service.

The service is great; however, it’s next to impossible to reach an agent over the phone. You have to jump through endless hoops in their answering machine and even then it won’t connect you to an agent. When you ask for an agent the machine tries its hardest to answer any question you may have before connecting you. I have a specific question that I need answered before my appointment tomorrow morning because I won’t be there, but it’s next to impossible to get said answer.

If you’re looking for the worst possible internet provider, look no further! Xfinity had you covered! They top my list on worst price, incompetent directions, terrible service, and terrible offerings.We moved. Previously I had AT&T, who charged me $60 monthly for 1k Meg internet which included: setup by a technician, unlimited WiFi, a router, and HBO MAX. All for $60! The new location we’re in only allows for xfinity. For $85 a month we get: 400 meg internet, unlimited WiFi, and a router. That’s it. You have to pay $100 for a technician to setup your internet. I tried to set it up myself but my house doesn’t have a coax that seems to work… so xfinity wants to charge me to help me pay them ludicrous money for poor service. Xfinity is the cockroach of internet providers. If they had to compete in the same market place as their competitors, they’d get squashed. They can’t provide good service, prices, or even directions on how to install their equipment. As a consumer, you WILL SAVE plenty of money going to their competitors. You will save a ton of headache going to their competitors. Xfinity, if you’re reading this, do better, be better, rise to your competition, and actually hold yourself to the professional benchmark your competitors have set.

Recently moved into a new house that has internet service through Xfinity. I spent a great deal of time online browsing the different deals that they had and ended up deciding that the $50/month for 24 months that included up to 400mbps would be the best fit. I tried setting up my service online and spoke to many of the chat agents but I was basically running in circles. Some agents told me that my house wasnt serviceable, others said it was but they needed to send a technician out, and just about every agent I talked to told me something different. After being unable to find a phone number to actually talk to someone, one agent recommend going into a store to complete my setup. I wanted to avoid having to go this route but with how much stress the online process caused me, I just wanted to get this done and over with. Shouldnt be that hard to get an internet service, right? I ended up going to the Xfinity store on Beltline Ave and I cannot fully express how wonderful the experience was. The second that we walked in the door, an Xfinity team member, Donte, greeted us and after explaining the issues that I was having they immediately took me over to one of their service desks. I knew exactly what I wanted and when I mentioned that to Donte they came through with everything that we needed. They didnt try to push me into another deal or pay more than expected which I appreciated. Donte was incredibly helpful, friendly, and charismatic. The entire transaction took 15 minutes which was a BLESSING after spending hours online talking to chat agents. The entire experience was wonderful! I was able to come right home and set up my internet service within 20 minutes! The package that I got also include the Xfinity Flex which only took a few minutes to set up! Overall, it was a wonderful experience setting things up in the store! We cannot get over how helpful Donte, they made things so simple for us. Never again will I do the online chat, Id rather go into a store.

This rating is solely because of the lackluster performance of the associates. In no way shape or form is the building out of the ordinary, but the customer service is lacking terribly. For instance, I walk in today to cancel the move of my service. Not only was I told to sit down and wait to get checked in, but after 30 minutes no one had done anything. I had to remind the Associates that I was still there. They then proceeded to work on everyone elses issue, even ones that came before me, while I waited. All in all, a 32nd transaction turned into 45 minutes of pure hell. I absolutely hate comcast. However, Im stuck with them.

Worst WiFi ever. It goes down at least 3-4 time a week if not more. They were supposed to send out a truck 3-4 different times and they never did and over the past 2 years they have not fixed anything. I can’t wait to be done with them.

Depending on what you go there for, you can have a really good or really bad experience.If you go there for the standard cable/internet affair, you should be just fine. Still amazes me that Xfinity has a huge staff over the phone who cant do hardly anything that the people inside the store can arrange.Whoever, if you go there for the mobile service, be very careful of what youre getting and what youre asking for. I walked in to transfer two lines, one bringing my own device and the other buying a new device. The rep gave me a SIM card for the device I needed to transfer, and gave me a new phone for the new device. When I came home to activate the devices, I discovered that the SIM card was for the new phone and I did not, in fact, receive a second SIM card for the device that needed to transfer.Luckily, I found all this out before leaving on a 2-hour trip to bring the new phone to a relative. Such as the downside of having commission-based sales personnel in a service store.

People there not very knowledgeable and if you have to call Xfinity thats even worse. No one had me setup my wifi info so i wasnt able to connect for first two months. Calling takes courage lots of patients because u get recording with lots and lots of prompts no real person. I called to say i couldnt connect so automated system did a reset but every time I left home and returned it wouldnt connect. I call back when ever i had lots and lots of time and the automated system would say lets do a reset. That works until I leave home and return. Since it never had an option to speak to a real person this went on for couple of months. If u can find another provider u probably want to use them not Xfinity.

The level of service between calling and going to the store is night on mars and day on earth. The people are friendly, helpful and timely. Just be sure to set an appointment! If you need help finding a better service plan or want to get mobile service, go to the store. Dont bother calling.

For the year I have service with xfinity, it was absolutely awful. Service/wifi constantly went out. They charged me multiple times for multiple different misc. fees that I was unaware of. Our routers that we rented were constantly inefficient and broken. Every time we had to switch them out for service, they’d try to charge my account. They told me multiple times that they wouldn’t charge us for those, since it wasn’t our fault, but they’d still try charging us. I had proof of the conversations where they said they wouldn’t charge us, yet the next employee I’d talk to would say they couldn’t take responsibility for what the other xfinity employees told us. No one is on the same page. They’re just a big corporate company trying to take advantage of people who don’t understand technology and the set up. FIND ANOTHER WIFI PROVIDER. DO NOT choose xfinity/Comcast. One roommate of mine almost got fired during the state shut down because Xfinity couldn’t keep our wifi service running consistently. At LEAST once a day the wifi would go out for 2+ hours. We made multiple requests to fix it, but they either wouldn’t help us fix it or try charging us and making us sign an entirely new contract for more money. When we were already paying for the best router, wifi, speed, amount of data, etc. Awful customer service.

Seems like they do routine maintenance every other night for about 6 hours turning off our service but still billing for the times that its turned off. If you have another option for a service provider, any company is better than Comcast. Theyve never provided reliable service for more than a couple of hours at a time.

TWO years ago, I moved from my old location and kept my bill paid ON TIME. They charged me over $200 for the modem and said that when I turned it in, that it would balance my account to 0. I turned in that modem within a short period of time. I was told by the people who work there that my account is paid off and I am in good standing. Xfinity still reports to the Credit Report that I still owe $200 for the modem even tho they have had it almost 2 years now. I have talked to various people in Xfinity/Comcast and they keep telling me that I still owe them, which I had a receipt saying it was paid in full..

Comcast is a scam and this store is just another cog in that wheel.Once they conned me into auto-pay, and then a month later *AND WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE* doubled my bill. Did they double my service? No, they just changed the rate of the same service to double what it was when I signed up. And they put a data cap on it, so they were just auto-billing me for all sorts of stuff once they had that info.

Came is specifically to get my router figured out. To which I brought a router in I was hoping to buy to avoid rental prices. I brought the router in to the front desk and asked the associate if the router I had would work with/if it was needed for my plan I just signed up for over the phone. He went on the act like my request like one, my request didnt make sense, and two, was pretty dismissive to what I was asking him to do. He responded and said “essentially yes it would work” but this was not the info I was asking for. I point blank asked him to check my plan and he refused to do so and had me wait. Lone and behold, the first 2 minutes of meeting with another associate, he tells me I don’t need the router I just bought because of what plan I had....literally telling me the info I needed to know 40 mins before when i was asking.Xfinity stores...please let your associates know that when people come in physically to the store, especially during Covid, that they should be more help than phone interactions. I was very disappointed by my time in the store since it turned out to be a waste of time since the associate didnt choose to help when I came in for that exact thing.My issue was taken care of by the other associate, so it wasn’t all a waste but I did leave annoyed and not wanting to come back to that location.

A person should be able to call the local store, ask a simple question and hang up. Fully expected A visit to the Xfinity store would be similar to going to the secretary of State. With that in mind, I blocked off 3 hours and prepared myself to be told that I dont have the correct paperwork. Xfinity was the POLAR OPPOSITE! I had to exchange my box for a newer model. The staff was very professional and kind. It was a pleasure to watch this team treat EVERONE this way. In a very busy store on a Saturday, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Got home hooked up everything and it all worked fine. Totally painless!

Dear Xfinity. I stayed with you for 13 years. The past four months have been filled with intermittent service outages and a complete lack of support by you. My reward for loyalty was getting the highest prices and poor service.You refused repeated requests for help, or a refund when I had months without a single full day of good service. You tried to install a new cable a then took months tocome back and bury it as promised. I am a fool for not cancelling service sooner.Today I returned my equipment and hope I never find myself stuck doing business with you again.I’ve read Comcast is the most hated brand. As with many providers, Comcast is choosing to automate services thereby removing human contact. Many requested services the local stores send you out the door with the 1.800 number, once you call this number ...... It becomes near impossible to get a human being on the line.Automation is a wonderful choice in many instances, but even in todays world, there are still times when a human being is needed. When that time comes, it would be of benefit to all involved to allow the bypass of automation & provide humans.Once you finally do get a human .... They are fast, efficient & knowledgeable. Every Comcast employee that I have dealt with has been an utmost professional.

The self install kit is joke.They are going to get that Professional Installation Fee however they can. Even if its reconnecting an apartment unit that they disconnected.Just moved into a new apartment with my own modem that worked a week prior on a different account. Got the self install kit that I waited 3 days for. Come to find out its just a cable that I could have grabbed at Best Buy.My service didnt work. Tried going online and calling. Was told they needed to send someone to look at it. Service Tech was very nice and promised that I wouldnt have to pay the fee because the problem was beyond my control.First billing cycle and guess what I have 70 dollar service charge for professional installation. An hour I spent on the a call with billing (which I will never get that hour back thanks) and I still have the fee.So glad my neighborhood internet service provider is there to help

As far as shopping for internet or cell phones this was the least miserable experience I ever had, In fact I thought it was an excellent experience. Note that the visit I made was like 9 months ago but it was really good. They were very knowledgeable, helped me lower my cable bill afthe the person from the call center said it was impossible and even kept the store open almost 40 minutes past close to make sure I was taken care of. Well done, hope they still maintain the high level of service but I would definitely recommend taking the chance. And no matter what, it isnt AT&T 😂

Comcast installed cable at our place last year, there were a few mess ups on their side and it went in pretty late so the ground froze and they couldn’t bury the cable, but stuff happens I get it. However it is now mid July and the cable is still not buried, and no one seems to care, even as I write this I know nobody from Comcast will ever read this unless it’s in a joking way at some company party. Are you happy Comcast you broke me. Anyway I would highly recommend them if you enjoy mowing around exposed cable, if you do not care for such an activity well you’re kind of in a tough spot because they’re the only game in town, I don’t know maybe try reading?

I had a great experience switching from Verizon to Xfinity Mobile. I arrived at the store and was greeted immediately. And immediately taken to a station where I was helped by Donte. He was fast, professional, personable, and fun. I felt like the people working there like each other and the environment was friendly and casual. Ive been dreading the phone switch, but Donte made it very easy and so nice. He helped me decide on adding TV to my account, which I appreciate. 5 stars!

Individual people are fine, make mistakes like everyone else but the awful dispersion of responsibility only raises barriers to service for the customer and leaves no one responsible at xfinity. They design themselves to not be accountable and for that they are the worst!
