I replaced the timing belt on my 2009 Accord and 6 months later it broke destroying my engine. My retired mechanic friend said that Simpsons Garage was the only place to go. Ron took in my basket case vehicle and within one week had me back on the road running beautifully at a very reasonable price. He is now working on my other vehicle. Ron runs an honest, affordable and highly skilled business.

When I took my car into Simpson Brothers Garage last week I received my usual superb service. I have been doing business with the owner, Ron Walton, for 26 years, and throughout this span have been impressed with Rons integrity, honesty, diagnostic expertise, and excellent customer service. I cannot recommend this business highly enough!

I was desperate. My car broke down in grand junction on the way to a rafting trip. I was 300 miles from home with my wife and two puppies, during heat wave. Every mechanic I reached out to was to busy to help. Despite being extremely busy they were empathetic to my situation. they took me in fixed my truck within an hour and had me right on my way. It’s great that some businesses still care about people and not just making money. I would like to thank Simpson’s brothers from the bottom of my heart.

I went in and got a new radiator. They called me and told me they had just finished, and I had 30 minutes to get my car or else I wouldn’t get it for two more days. When I got in my car the clutch would not fully engage and my gear shifter would not move into gear. The mechanic then test drove it (when the car should not have been driven in that condition). He burned my clutch pulling out of the shop. When he came back all my coolant leaked, and that’s why I had to get a new radiator. He told me I wouldn’t be able to pick it up for another 2-3 days. When we came to get more information about what was happening to my car, Ron didnt seem to be happy about us asking. He laughed in our face, and said, “how would I know?” when we asked when it would be finished. I now have my car back, and it still does not drive the same. I got no refund, and they were not apologetic during the whole process. I would never come to this company. They do not know what they are doing at all.

I was on a 1,000 mile trip home and my engine (Ford V-10) started making a loud engine noise. I got flat bedded to the Ford dealership in Grand Junction. They were booked out 5 weeks (!) so the tow truck driver suggested Simpson Brothers Garage, and took me there, now after 3:00pm. They were busy but had a mechanic look at it within an hour and discovered it was a blown out spark plug. I was back on the road the next day! They are very customer oriented, competent, thorough, and careful. Ron and his crew got me done when they told me, and under their estimate. I don’t write many reviews but Simpson Brothers Garage was so terrific I wanted to give them a thumbs up.

Wow! These people care. They work to meet your critical needs, beyond just a car repair, beat time expectations, while doing top-notch work. My 2004 Honda Minivan is embedded in many of the most joyful years of my life, and today is “mission critical” in my food delivery work.I was referred to Simpson Brothers by another high-quality shop that does not work on hondas, and I stopped by and chatted with Paul and John last week to discuss my need for a quick turn around on my power steering issue.Since the minivan was still functioning, albeit leaving PS fluid along the way, we scheduled for this morning, which was a week out.I hoped that it wouldn’t take more than a day, and I could have it back by 5 Pm.As agreed, I dropped it off by 8:30 and was happy to hear from Ron that they should have today’s critical work done by noon. They gave me a ride home, where I was arranging a rental car, but before I could get that organized, and at 10:30, they called to tell me it was ready.The minivan is a “project” with lots of simmering issues, and we plan to get them done in “same day” service visits, but I’m cheered by the fact that, with their concern for meeting my needs, we will get it all done on a “triage” basis.It’s great to know I’m now in good hands re auto repair issues.

I would give Simson Brothers garage 10 stars if I could, Im lucky enough to have a good vehicle but when I need work done I will not have anyone else work on my Toyota, plus they did it in one day I didnt have to leave my truck overnight.

Got oil change, checkup and brakes. They were expensive but did a good job.

I have been happy with the work they have done every time. If they find something with a courtesy check, they are upfront and honest about what it will take to fix, the cost, and how critical the problem is. The front desk staff is always very patience on the phone with all of my questions.

He recomended me to a great machanic becouse he was busy tjat morning.

I had my van towed to his shop unexpectedly on a Sunday with a transmission problem and on Monday he brought me in with open arms. Ron made me feel like I was top priority even tho he has a lot of cars coming through. He got me in and out as fast as he could with quality and professional care. I can’t thank him enough for helping me get back on the road with such a big fix. Thank you Ron and all the mechanics!

Not the cheapest place but theyre honest and do quality work at reasonable prices. Ive had work done on all three of my cars here. They always communicate their thoughts and recommendations along with a quote before they start work. If anything changes, they will call before adding additional work.

I took my vehicle in for some work and then rode their shuttle service back home. At the end of the day they called me & asked if I was going to pick up my vehicle. I explained I was waiting for their shuttle & was told they were done for the day and not making any further pick-ups. They stated I would have to get my car the next day. I told them it was my only vehicle & I lived by myself. They replied I would have to get it the next day & they could pick me up in the morning. They made no effort to make the situation better & just made it even worse. So they showed up at approx. 9:00am so I could get my car. Luckily I had no emergencies requiring use of the vehicle. They lost me as a customer.

Take it from someone who just brought their car in twice and spent $1500 for a simple radiator leak, for the love of god take your car somewhere else. There are many other good reputable shops in town and this is not one of them. Save your time and money and pick a new shop. This is my first and last encounter with them. You’ve been warned

When everything goes right every business owner runs a successful business. When things go wrong is when you really find out how a place is ran. I dont like when things break on my truck but I would say after my several experiences with Simpson Brothers Garage I have to say they are some of the best people in town and the only place I will ever take any of my vehicles to. Also because of the way they have dealt with me so fairly theyre the only place that I could ever recommend. I think it would be very hard to find any business in this town that is around more ethically and upfront and honest than them. Thank you for taking care of me.

I would absolutely recommend taking your car here if it needs work. Their prices are great, and their customer service is even better. They were able to do the work I needed under what they quoted me, and in a timely matter. They have pick up/drop off service, which is a huge deal for me because then I dont have to worry about arranging transportation to and from work. When we were having trouble finding where the noise was coming from they let me take one of their technicians (John) for a short ride so that I could better point out what I was hearing. Id like to give a special thanks to Tom, Paul, John, and Ladonna (sorry if I miss spelled your name) they were all very nice, and extremely helpful. Anytime I have an issue with my car that I cannot fix myself, Ill definitely be bringing it to Simpson Brothers Garage.

The desk staff are wonderful! They remember who I am and what car I own. The service staff know their stuff. They list repairs by urgency and the quotes are held to. They offer a free shuttle also. This is the only place I take my car!

They got my Element up and running in no time.Brought it in after it sat for nearly a month being that its over 150k miles it was kinda sludgy and firing on less then optimal. The spark plugs were filthy and one of the ignition coils had bit the dust. Not to mention it needed some new breaks. They treated me right and got me a fair price would recommend

My husband and I were truly impressed with the customer service and the professionalism that this shop provided us. We called concerning my husbands truck problems, dropped it off that evening. Next day they called and explained everything that we needed to fix. They even went out of their way to let us know some other problems with the truck that they noticed that needed to be fixed. They explained the cost and started working on it right away. Took two days to fix the truck which we thought would take a few days complete. My husbands truck is running great and we look forward to bring our vehicles into Simpson Brothers Garage again in the future. It is really hard to find decent mechanic shops with great customer service and honesty. So glad we called Simpson Brothers Garage.

I have been going to Simpsons Brother Garage for years for all of my mechanical work on my vehicle. Up until recently I was more than satisfied. However last summer they unplugged a part to make a noise stop with out telling me all the details. When I went back later in winter after finding out that part controlled the heat in my car they wanted to charge me 100 dollars to just plug it back in, after doing it for free.

Simpson brothers garage is our garage now. My nanna mobile broke down and after having it towed to simpson brothers garage and they just happen to have a cancellation and had us going in just a short time.They gave us a ride while they were working on my car and we are all good now.Thank you paul and ron.

Excellent service on my Honda, thanks Paul at the front desk! Free shuttle back and forth to work. My manual required a brake flush for my mileage, and they let me know my brake fluid was fine, and saved me 80 bucks! (They couldve just done it, Id never know.)I was impressed enough to bring the wifeys Kia in and get inspected and tuned as well. Thanks guys!

About a week ago they worked on my car with a big leak, but I still had a leak that I noticed just a day or so ago. I called and they had me bring the car back in to check it out. It took just about 30 mins for them to correct the problem and hand me back the keys no charge, of course! It was just a loose hose clamp. Our current car is a 2011 Jeep Rubicon which wed like to keep for a long time. We take our Jeep over to the San Rafael Swell/Reef once or twice a month to isolated canyons. We have confidence in Simpson Bros work, so we can enjoy our time in the Swell.

We have been customers for 15 + years and would never go anywhere else. Whether its for one of our farm vehicles or for the dependability we needed to have for our (then) teenage daughters, Simpson Brothers always provides us with excellent customer service that is done right the first time.

If you are a female, dont take your vehicle here, they will take advantage of you. They start off with great customer service, calling you by your first name and such; but then they will say they fixed your vehicle, say they checked it, and then give you some baloney about why its still inoperable. My vehicle was fixed until I paid them and went to retrieve it. Somewhere between their shop door and their paved parking lot the wiring got shaken loose and arced itself out frying an expensive relay. Two extra days without my truck and they wanted an additional $350 to fix something they should have fixed in the first $500. Im sure they will charge me when I pick it up, but they can expect a piece of my mind as well and an additional bad review on Angies List.

They were really nice and got the problem taken care of. But, I found they charge double and sometimes almost triple the price of Big O. I was about to spend $750 here. Called Big O and could get the get the same things done for a little over $200. Nice guys ridiculous price.

These guys were absolutely amazing, I was driving from las Vegas to Colorado springs and my differential started making a lot of noise from a previous shops mistake in las Vegas. These guys were not only extremely pleasant and took the time to explain to me what was going on, but since Im stuck here for the night Ron (the owner) even drove me around town a little so I could see where everything was. They went more than an extra mile and even offered to do more. I wish their shop was closer to where I lived. I would highly recommend this shop to everyone I know.

I had new brakes put on and one year later was told by Toyota that my rotors were warped because the brakes that did not dissipate heat were put on the vehicle. The extra heat plus the fact that Simpson machined the rotors instead of just replacing them, caused the warp and an entire NEW brake job is needed. I live in Denver and a NAPA store will warranty the replacement all except the rotors because they should have been replaced. I wont be back.

I broke down on a road trip through grand junction, they got me in same day and on my way again in about an hour. Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall as good of an experience as you can have being broken down on a road trip
