I do not look forward to having this dealership perform basic services on my vehicle. I dropped my car off at 10:45 for an oil change and was told it would be an hour and a half. I did not drive away until 1:10. That is too long. They did not make me pay for the service, which is appreciated, but they spent an extra 45 minutes messing around with a Starlink recall update that I would not have wanted them to do. A quick phone call to ask if I wanted them to do that today would have been most appreciated. Time is actually more important than money. I do not believe I have ever made it out of there for an oil change in under 2 hours. There has to be a better way. The gentleman that worked with me mentioned that appointments may be a thing of the future. Anything to make it so getting an oil change is not a multi-hour experience would be helpful. Thanks.

Unfortunately if I could give zero stars that would be my review. My car was with the service center for just shy of 6 weeks and when the battery shockingly could not hold a charge after not running for that length of time I was asked to pay for a new battery. They did not communicate well and that is a kind assessment. Unprofessional and no apologies for any of the issues or their lack of ability to provide an update, just blame towards the warranty company who provided consistent updates, the warranty company was not the best but leaps and bounds better at communicating and updating.
Jake Williams helped me find a wonderful car! I absolutely love it, and had a fantastic overall experience. He was patient, honest, didnt pressure me at all, and super helpful with everything the whole way. The whole process was way easier than I anticipated it being, and he even helped my brother and sister in law look around a bit while I was out test driving the cars he showed me. I expect this car will last me a good long while, but if I ever need another I will definitely ask him again. I highly recommend this dealership, everybody there was so kind and helpful.

Service once you buy is terrible and it’s a company wide thing. I brought my car to get a VIN inspection here to get Colorado plates. I even went so far as to make an appointment for service. The service manager was rude and never even acknowledged me, but some kid eventually took care of me. They seemed to have 0 awareness of my appointment. The inspection took all of 5 minutes but the boy didn’t fill out the form completely. Luckily the lady at the DMV was nice and filled it out, but it was really only her kindness that allowed me to complete my business. Subaru has a terrible service department nationwide and seems to be run terribly at the corporate level. I love the car but will never buy another again.
Great service, sent pictures of my trade in to get a price before making a six hour drive with my 3 kids. Had lowest price for the 2015 nissan titan i wanted. Even bought my kids McDonalds since we were waiting on banks to answer the phone to complete the financing since they did so good. Great customer service and prices.

I wanted to try out a cross track, outback and forester. Annissa Wright was so pleasant and accommodating letting me try them out. She spent a great amount of time showing me the various features. Annissa is pleasant, no hard sell tactics and was off the chart when I needed familiarized with my purchase. For instance, I returned 2-3 times to the dealership for further orientation on the Forrester. They were fair in the negotiations and the finance lady was pleasant and competent. If I could give this dealership 6 stars, I would!Jim and his team handled a Subaru Outback emergency I had on a road trip with aplomb.A previous body and mechanic shop that shall not be named messed up a bearing in one of my rear wheels, which could have turned into a deadly accident if it hadnt been noticed by Grand Junction Subaru.GJ Subaru was able to quickly diagnose my problem, fit me into a busy schedule, conduct the repairs, and then top to bottom check if anything else was damaged. Through the entire experience, GJ Subaru treated me like family, and pricing on repairs was totally fair.I live in the Vail area, and our dealerships locally leave a lot to be desired. If I can, Ill bring my Outback the two hour drive west to come to this dealership again. Well done!

We were on our way to Las Vegas and had a XV Crosstrek blow up in the middle of Utah. We towed back to Subaru of Grand Junction and couldnt of had a better experience. I was traveling through Grand Junction on my way to Moab and the check engine light came on. I called Grand Junction Subaru and they said I could stop there and have the car inspected. Jim the service advisor and Warren the technician got the inspection done quickly and helped me get back on the road. I appreciate that they let me bring in the car on a short notice and were very helpful.

Anissa Wright helped me find the right vehicle for me. I showed up on the lot and she came out and greeted me. I thought, here we go again with high pressured sales. To my surprise, Anissa waa very pleasant and did not pressure me to buy. I told her I was just looking at various vehicles. She offered to let me take one to the next lot I was going to so I could compare side by side. I declined, but thought that was a nice gesture. She respected that I was just looking and let me leave without any pressure.I went to the the next lot, got a sales person who was all about pressuring me to buy even though they had nothing of interest to me. I went to a couple other new car lots and was frustrated about the sales pressure and the selections.I ended up back at the Subaru lot and met with Anissa again. I asked her if I could drive two different vehicles. She immidiately got the keys for me, quickly went over the vehicle features and off I went on my test drives. I settled on the Forester with no pressure from Anissa or anyone else. I told Anissa Id like to see the numbers and was ready to purchase if we could work out the numbers. She immidiately got the ball rolling, asked for my keys to get the appraisal done on my trade in and brought my keys back to me as soon as the appraisal was done.After some minor back and forth, we agreed on the numbers and Alissa immidiately started getting me set up with various features of the vehicle. Once paperwork was complete and I was ready to drive off the lot, Anissa took plenty of time to sit with me in the vehicle and went over, in detail, all the features of the vehicle and made sure all my questions were answered before I drove off.The following Monday, she called to check up on how the vehicle was working out. Anissa also told me a set of keys had been found in my trade in that she would mail to me after verifying my address. I was relieved because they were keys to my company vehicle. I had been looking all over for them. I received the keys in the mail the following day accompanied with a thank you card with a hand written note inside.Anissa was great to work with and made the car buying experience easy and pleasant. Due to a series of unfortunates events, we were in need of an affordable yet quality used vehicle for our son who is at school over in Denver. We needed to get him into something quickly over the winter break. We spent numerous hours shopping vehicles (private party and small private dealerships). We began to wonder if affordable and quality could even be used in the same sentence.We bought our last 2 Subarus from Grand Junction Subaru and decided to see what they had available. We shouldnt have been surprised when we were shown a vehicle that would have easily broke the bank for us if it were a private party sale, let alone from a big dealership. In less than a couple of hours our son was behind the wheel of his new (used) Jeep from Grand Junction Subaru.He left this past Monday to head back for start of spring semester. He called a couple of hours into the drive indicating he had broken down and was stuck on the side of the road just outside Vail. Being 18, he couldnt describe what was wrong, just that it was making aloud noise and not moving very fast when he tried to accelerate to get off the side of the highway.I immediately called Grand Junction Subaru and spoke with Sean H. and was told by him to make sure he was safe first and foremost and to get it towed to the nearest ASE certified shop. I decided to rent a car carrier and go pick it up myself to tow to nearest ASE certified shop. When I got to Vail and look under the Jeep I saw that it was a snapped axle with damage to CV boot.Trusting Grand Junction Subaru and their word, I decided to tow it all the way back to Grand Junction for them to evaluate and repair. True to their word when I called them about it initially, they handled it all and had the Jeep road worthy 2-days later. No cost to us.Its a rather long review, but I think it shows this dealerships commitment to quality and their customers, regardless of the brand they sell you, regardless of the final purchase price. I can not say enough good things about this dealership and its entire staff. In this day its not often you find an organization that is willing to put the customer first, no matter the cost. Buying our 2021 Crosstrek Sport was a long and drawn out process and Anissa was very patient during the whole thing. The service when we bought the car was great. We love the car still. However, I become more disappointed every time I take it in for service or other. The oil changes are fine... But theyve missed the tire rotation and I have to bring it in the next day... Just inconvenient. Brought it in for a detail after the winter, and there were still spots where you could see the detailer sprayed cleaner and then didnt wipe it. We recently had a hitch installed, insanely overpriced to install... And then today we had to bring it back because someone ordered the wrong hitch. And now they have to keep it overnight because they are missing a part. Ive literally brought this car in three times this week for an oil change and hitch install... I cant believe its this hard! Im just disappointed that Subaru GJ only cares when someone is purchasing a car but then afterwards they stop caring. Let me be clear: we only go to the dealer for service because we dont want to risk voiding our warranty. If I felt I had another choice, we wouldnt go back.

I had narrowed down my car selection to two SUVs - the Forester and the Rogue. Trevaughn is the reason I went with the Forester over the Rogue. I called the store and within two days they had me bring the truck back in. They apologized profusely and made it right on their dime. They also gave me a brand new car to drive for the weekend while they made the repairs.Subaru in Grand Junction will most likely always have my business. I purchased the truck and they didnt have to fix anything after that. They care so much about making their customers happy that they did fix it and let me take a sweet new car so I wasnt out of luck or inconvenienced. Were thrilled with our experience at Grand Junction Subaru. We started communicating with our salesperson (Robert Taylor) a few months ago when we making the move back to GJ and needed to get a vehicle. It took us a while to get settled and get ready to pull the trigger but when we finally made it into the dealership, it was quick and pleasant.Anyone who has bought a car knows that it is generally painful, time consuming, and arduous - not so this time around. Robert was great. He knew the inventory and he knew the brand. Since this car is for my wife, he got her into a couple of models to test drive and see what she liked. Once we settled on the perfect vehicle, we were both a bit apprehensive about negotiating the price. That was the easiest part. A quick back and forth with the sales manager and we were ready for the other usually dreadful part - financing. I think we were in and out of the finance managers office in about 10 minutes! He didnt flinch or push when we turned down various add-ons. No pressure.Ill tell you this, Robert was great. So was the rest of the sales team. In these COVID days everybody was hanging out on the patio at the dealership and everyone was friendly. And the place was super sanitized with people wiping things down before and after someone touched them. It was honestly a completely different car buying experience. If youre looking for a car, give them an opportunity. Purchased my first Subaru through Grand Junction Subaru last month. Had a great experiencing buying online with the sales team, especially Carey. They walked me through all the steps, overnighted my sales documents, and I had the car waiting for me ready to go the weekend I was in town. Working with the service department in selecting my hitch options was nice because they were able to point out the drawbacks of an aftermarket hitch (they sit low, which can catch when I’m camping out in the mountains off-road) while the factory hitch, though more expensive, sits flush with the bumper. That was a detail I didn’t consider when looking at the $ prices on hitches but something I really appreciated being aware of. They also matched the window tint for my front windows which was super convenient - looking forward to many miles with my new outback and really enjoyed the no pressure, friendly, and detailed help the entire team provided me!

When I came to visit Grand Junction Subaru, I was immediately greeted by Anissa. I explained to her that we were really just window shopping and we werent interested in buying a car. She took it in stride and still took the time to show us around the lot. When I go shopping (even window shopping), it takes me a long time to decide and I look at each option multiple times. Anissa showed me car after car and explained the details multiple times for each. She never once acted annoyed even after showing me the same car for the third time in the 100 degree heat. I actually ended up finding a car that I absolutely loved and purchased. A few days after purchase, Anissa called to check and make sure I was happy with my car. She was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend her.

I went in to upgrade my car for some adventure equipment I had purchased. I had Dallas help me through the process, he was direct, honest, and really cared about what I need. He helped me get to a deal that was right for me and knows a ton about these new cars. If you are going to look at a new one, ask for Dallas, you won’t regret it.

I had always been under the impression that dealerships were just out to cut corners and make extra money on repairs, and I honestly did not have a good first experience at GJ Subaru. However, after receiving terrible service from my trusted local mechanic, I took my 2014 Forester in to Aleisha at the service department. Aleisha was extremely professional and courteous, and got my car in right away. It turned out my engine was dealing with the infamous oil consumption issues that involved this year of Forester, and the short-block along with the cat converter needed replacing. Aleisha got me in a loaner on the same-day, and then got the repairs approved to be covered under the extended warranty due to the oil consumption issue Subaru was sued for in 2017. Repairs were done in a little over a week, and my car came out washed and with a whole new short block/cat converter. I am NOT happy with Subaru as a company, especially after doing tons of research on this oil consumption/engine issue, but Aleisha and GJ Subaru have gained a customer for life through their excellent customer service. Hopefully this new short block will fix the original defective engine issue, and I will return for all my service as long as I own a Subaru. Thank you!
We stopped at GJ Subaru and were greeted warmly by Anissa Wright. She was kind, informative, and willing to let us see a number of brands of cars and we drove an SUV that we hadnt even expected to want to look at because of her excellent salesmanship. We did end up buying a car out of state, actually, but I have to say that Anissa was hands down the best salesperson we worked with and we would highly recommend her. In addition, the dealership was professional in their approach, not too pushy, plenty of positive testimonials about their own experiences with Subarus as owners, and email communication was excellent. There were phone calls but without pressure to decide. Fabulous experience with a local dealership.

I should have bought a Subaru! I drove from Fort Collins to Grand Junction with my 18yr old son so he could check out Mesa University. While there my check engine light goes off. Note: I drive a Mazda. There is no Mazda dealer in Grand Junction. Desperate, I call the Subaru dealer and ask if theyd be willing to check it. The Service Dept said yes and couldnt have been nicer about it, though I didnt drive a Subaru. Though they had other vehicles to be serviced, they took us promptly, checked the code, reset the monitor, and everything was then fine. False alarm. I offered to pay a service fee, but they wouldnt accept. Again, I was amazed by their generosity, service, and just friendliness. I will not forget it when it comes to purchasing my next car: a Subaru! So a big thank you to Grand Junction Subaru.
Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I woke up Saturday morning and met Shawn Kyle with the internet department to look at a 2019 4 door long bed Tacoma. Shawn made it so easy and 2 hours later walked out with a new truck. Great friendly service. Awesome staff. Highly recommend this place.

Recently purchased a used Forester from the dealer. My sales consultant was Michael Applegate. I use the term consultant because I did not feel like I was being sold a car. Michael just patiently answered my questions (a lot of them) and provided me with the information I needed to decide which car I wanted. There was no pressure, just a relaxed, casual atmosphere. I highly recommend Michael if you are looking for a new (or newer) car.
