I called around 9am on a Monday for brakes and an oil change, they told me that they could get me in at 11. Upon my arrival, Tim greeted me and took my info and everything. Had one of the mechanics do an inspection, then told me all the things that needed to be repaired after about 45 minutes. Told me what was in need of immediate repair and which ones needed to be fixed soon but could wait. Tim was very transparent and communicated everything with me. Everything was completed in 2.5 hours after I signed and approved the repairs.Great experience and service from start to finish. Definitely recommend Champs Auto Repair

I brought my car in with a check engine light for my evaporative emissions system. I expected it to be a sensor, but found out there was a leak in my fuel tank. I had to leave it there overnight while they found a fuel tank for my car. All the while, Tim was very professional, and kept me updated.The price wasnt too bad for the service provided, and they had even replaced the fuel line for free.Of all the other mechanic shops in the area, this one is definitely your best bet.

In addition to my other visit, reviewed below, just today these guys got my truck running quick after my shifter broke and wouldnt get out of reverse. Honest and informative, plus a relatively cheap fix at just UNDER $200. Huge fan of these guys.Tony was able to not only diagnose my evap leak, but also found my fuel pressure regulator was leaking. Both of which Ive repaired myself, and am extremely grateful to Champs for the accurate info. I wouldve never found the leak, and thought the fuel smell was associated with the leak. I’d like to give Tim and Don at 67th and Bell awesome reviews for always being so professional, punctual, and just genuine humans! Always come for my oil change here and finally got that fourth one for free after punching out the first three on a card they gave me! Highly recommend, have never gone for anything else other than my oil change but they always give me that great check up and a heads up if ever anything is wrong.

I was quoted a price for an oil change, liked the estimate so I set up an appointment. I got there 15 minutes early and they immediately took my keys and drove it right in. Oil change was done in under 20 minutes and they told me they replaced the air filter. Then he showed it to me. Wow!!! He looked out for my vehicle and performed what was recommended. Very friendly, very professional, and the shop was very clean considering how busy they were. I recommend CHAMPS to everyone!!!

This place definitely had the potential to do great work - they just chose not to. Why? Because they wanted to charge me $1200 to replace my compressor and get the a/c running again. The quote for their compressor unit was $600.00. I bought a new one on Ebay for $145.00 and brought it in for them to install. This took their price down to $600.00, affordable. So I drop off my truck and they call me at work with some bad news. They claimed my radiator needed replacing due to whoever installed it had screwed the bolts THROUGH the radiator itself. That would have caused a leak and my radiator had never leaked and my truck had never overheated. They said they could replace it for another $300.00. They obviously think women are as dumb as their story, but they had my truck. Forced compliance - not good for business. They also put some new fitting on my low pressure hose that does not allow for recharging the system. I paid close to $1000.

Outstanding service, only tell you what you need and they dont try to sell you something you dont need. Honest dependable vehicle service that I will take my vehicle to for a long time and I encourage anyone seeking a great mechanic shop to try them out. Amazing service and mechanical work, my issue was difficult, and expensive. These guys walked me through all the problems they faced, never made one move without me knowing fully what was a happening, and never once double charged me for services already paid for, Tim handled me most of the time, he was amazing and had any and all information I asked for. Was attentive to the issue, even took his own time to research so the job was done right. Amazing, I recommend to anyone that’s had a hard time with mechanics and needs there faith restored!!

My Jeep broke down in the neighborhood on a very, very difficult day for me. I called and spoke with Tim, one of their service managers, and he was incredibly professional and helpful. He helped to arrange to have the vehicle towed and performed the necessary work the same day to get things running again. And he and one of their mechanics stayed late to do it. I’ll get to my new job on Monday without a having to rent a car thanks to their help. The price was very fair. Highly recommended.

Would give it 0 stars if I could.I went to Champs because I had found a coupon for a cheap oil change and there are some good reviews. The trip started pleasant enough when I was greeted by Frank when coming in. He seemed nice enough at the time. My car was taken back and shortly I was told that I needed a new air filter. Okay fine. I hadnt changed it since I got the car a couple years ago. He said the only one they had available was $30. I told him I would wait on that and a few minutes later they magically had one available for me at half the price.During this time I was also told how bad my tires were. Frank told me they were all falling apart and that I need to get them all replaced as soon as I could. This sounded fishy because I had replaced my 2 of my tires within the last year. He gave me an estimate of about $400 to replace them all. Went to pay for the services I recieved and turns out the coupon doesnt cover labor. This was not visible anywhere on the coupon.Took my car to Discount Tire that day to replace the one tire that actually needed it and the employee there confirmed that 3 of my tires are in great shape and only the 1 needed to be replaced. Frank at Champs tried to scare me into spending more money there. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great service and Great people. I had a blown tire and no spare. While they didnt have the correct tire in stock they let me use their parts truck to drive to a shop that did have the tire!! All this AND the owner refused to take a $20 bill for his help. ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!

I only went in for an oil change and Tony (mechanic), showed me where an oil leak was originating from the low end of the oil filter housing. And also pointed out that the right upper engine mount (Cadillac) was bad... I saw it... but never would have noticed it. And the cost quote for each of the repairs are less than 150.00, including the parts. So far.... so good. Thanks Tim (Mgr.) and Tony.

I Absolutely Love this location. Tyler was extremely helpful when it came to the break down of me car. Also the mechanic made sure he informed me of all of the fluids he changed and that he seen a nail in my tire. I really recommend this place. I had a crap day and they just turned it around for me. Was in a jam when I seen my fuel line leaking gas all over the place this morning. Tim and Burell at Champs wasted no time getting my truck up and evaluated. They got it fixed and at a good reasonable price and did it fast. They saved my day and my gas. Thanks guys it was much appreciated!

Had my water pump replaced in my 4runner, they replaced it and when I picked my truck up,that was it they didnt have a list of other things that have to be fixed,or any add on charges, I met the owner and the mechanic who worked on my truck, great place. To Mickey who wrote the bad review, you should go back into the location at 67th Avenue and Bell Road and ask to speak to Don the owner, is an owner who actually works at his locations Im sure hed do whatever he could to make your problem right, I have taken all three of my vehicles to Don and Ive always been completely satisfied.

Took in my Camry they charged me for a guess thats the problem part a relay then told me it might be a distributor my car doesnt even have a distributor! Waited 3 hours + for nothing. Ive since got my car fixed elsewhere where it was fixed right not guess this is it! paid for DX and time for relay. If you are single female dont go here i think i was just what they wanted to walk in the door. Im reporting to corporate office. Simple fix on vehicle they totally missed!!! Stay clear from this shop!!!!

I went to this location because their mechanics at the Thunderbird location did work on my car (over $3,000 - I had a small noise, 2 tires, and my ac went out) I had to take it back for same problem within months after, and it still wasnt fixed. Was told to take it to 67ave location so that the manager could work on it, and he said he would get it right! Wrong. It was under warranty, but from the time I drove home the ac did not work, again. After debating whether to take it back (Why would I ?) it has stopped working ever since. Will not START and of course AC still wont work. I am out over $3,000 and left with a non-working car, and no money to take it somewhere else.

I asked for a brake inspection and an oil change. I was there from 8:30 AM till 11:10 AM. I ended up taking it elsewhere afterwards for brakes and found Champs didnt close things they inspected such as the air filter, and other components. I feel like this took way too long and was half assed. I also was forced to buy a part for my brakes from OReillys next door before they would let me leave with my car. In the end this oil change costed around $34 with a coupon. I should have read the reviews before actually taking my car here. I wont be returning, spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I had originally called and made a appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. When I got there the person behind the counter got a little agitated when I had mentioned the rotation again when I got there saying the appointment was just for the oil change and they did not have time for the rotation even though we spoke about it over the phone. Yet they did have time to do all of the other things that were supposedly wrong with my vehicle. When he called to tell me the oil change was done I had a few things that might need replacing but magically they had all the time in the world to do the the things i didnt ask for.

Came in for a tire rotation and had a minor hiccup... not to worrie... the owner Don took care of it for me so its all good in the hood.

They have very well by me when it comes to my car. Friendly staff.
