Sam is the Volvo Expert!2005 V70R had a persistent “Start Prevented” error on the dash and car would not start 80% of the time making it risky to drive anywhere. Car was left with another independent Volvo specialist for 2 months and they could not fix let alone diagnose the problem. I heard about Sam and decided that he would be my last attempt at fixing this car or just get rid of it. Sam has the car for a week and had the problem fixed! Sam found some dirty electrical connectors and cleaned those and car starts every time! He kept the car an extra week and tried it every day to confirm that the problem was resolved. Hasn’t come back! Thanks! Highly recommended and an honest mechanic you can trust with your car.

There is absolutely no reason to go to the Volvo dealership and pay exorbitant prices and never meet the person who actually worked on your car. Sam knows every molecule of the breed and I really believe that he has ascended to the level where all he needs to do is lay his hands on your car and it will be serviced, fixed and/or better than when you brought it in. I am a total gearhead and I know cars and I would not take my car anywhere else. Oh, and of course Serl is a great person to deal with.

The best Volvo service ever. Sam, his lovely wife and talented mechanics are the best. Needed major work on our sedan and now our S60 is better than new! Have been taking both our Volvo cars there for several years and were always pleased with their professional work, quality customer care and honesty. We need both cars in our professions! I recently bought a Volvo S60 on Craigs list that turned out to be a total lemon. My Volvo drives now like a dream. Like an absolute dream. Honestly, I havent been able to say that for years. Even after spending $1500 with a friend who is a very good general mechanic, my Volvo continued to make all kinds of noise, none of them good. It creaked, it sputtered, and it groaned. I resigned myself to the noise and to the rough idling and hoped I could maybe get another year out of it. But a couple of weeks ago, my car took a turn for the worse. Which was particularly troubling because I had moved to LA not long ago and didnt know a good mechanic.Fortunately, I found the Volvo Pit Stop in Glendale. Sam, the Owner, spent quite a bit of time with my car and then with me. He told me what repairs had to be done and which ones I could hold off on. I was so impressed with Sam that I asked him to fix everything. I just knew he was going to do a great job. That was my best car decision EVER. My S60 now 10 years old and with 130k miles on it didnt drive this good when I bought it 6 years ago. Like I said, it now drives like a dream. No noise; great acceleration and power. And I feel safe in it again.Sam has been working on Volvos exclusively for I think about 20 years. Which Im sure is why he could restore my car to almost new condition while my friend couldnt. Cars are so sophisticated these days that from now on, Ill always take my Volvo to a Volvo specialist. And as long as I live anywhere within 50 miles of Glendale, Ill take my car to Sam at the Volvo Pit Stop.One bit of advice. Sam is a busy guy. Every time I went to his garage, it was packed with Volvos he and his crew were working on. Thats a good sign of course but make sure you call for an appointment. Do not take your car to this JURK, OMG this place has to be the worst ever.I took my car in for an regular inspection and had an engine light on, i told this Sam about the engine light and that my car is turning off while driving, after 2 days my car at his shope he calls me and tell me the problem with my car is becouse of an ignitor coil, so i told him complit the repairs and any other work that i might need becouse im going out of town this weekend, the next day i went to pick my car up the bill was more than $ 1000 for a coil and minor oil service, 2 days later on the way to my vacation my car stalls 380 mils away from his shop in the middle of the desert, i call him he told me bring it i will look at it again, oh and he wont even bother to pay for the towing. So EVERYONE PLEASE DONT TAKE UR CAR TO THIS JURK. HE DOSNT KNOW WHAT HIS DOING,I AM WRITING THIS FROM MY HOTEL ROOM ON THE WAY TO MY VACATION SPOT, IM STUCK HERE WAITING FOR A RENTAL CAR WICH I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT... DAMN YOU SAM...!
